A handful of days ago, Mr. Rooter came out to my house for a backed up tub. The technician that came out was able to fix the issue very quickly. My technician was Sean F. He was professional, quick, courteous, and was awesome at explaining the issue, and gave me tips on how to further potentially prevent issues in the future. I will highly recommend Mr. Rooter to friends and family from here on out.

Mark was rude and short when answering my questions as if I was annoying him. He also mentioned payment several times as if I was trying to get out of paying for the service he lied about on my invoice. Mark did not perform the task of running the snake through the clean out behind my washing machine as he stated on my invoice. Nor did he discuss with me preventative maintenance and treat drains with preventative maintenance treatment as he also stated on my invoice. Mark came in my home with a small black and blue auger that didnt seem large enough for the job. I will never use Mr. Rooter again and will tell everyone I know about the poor service I received. Bruce with the camera provided better service. However, unbeknownst to me there was no treading in my main sewer pipe where my clean out cap was. So when it was removed to run the camera it was not replaced correctly cause sewer drainage in my basement and where my dog eats. See the picture attached. Bruce did try and make it right by giving me $20.00 to buy a different clean out cap. I did and was able to fix it on my own. The whole experience was stressful. The poor professionalism from Mark was absolutely ridiculous. One star is too high, unfortunately I couldnt continue without adding it. Dont waste your time with Mr. Rooter call Roter Rooter instead.UPDATE 12/31/24Tim, the Peoria branch manager reached out to me and made me feel better as a costumer. Tim apologized on behalf of his subordinates and made it right. Tim provided me with exceptional costumer service. He listened to me which is important and he empathized with me regarding my experience. Thank you Tim. Because of you my rating has changed from 1 star 4 stars.Yolanda.

I called this company at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. Form them of a non-emergency kitchen sink clog. They sent someone out a few hours later to try and fix the clog. Only to find it wasnt a clog. It was a cracked pipe. They sent out another person a few hours later to send a camera down in the pipe to see what the issue was. Jason clearly explained every aspect of the job. What needed to be done. He then told me his crew would be back out at 8: 00am The next day. And they were there on time. They got permits. They had the inspector. They were very efficient with their time. The people taking phone calls for this company were amazing. They got back to me quickly , And with answers. Amazing at communication. I would highly recommend this company 10 out of 10.

On 12-31-24 I called Mr. Rooter and they got me appt for the same day! Sean F. was my tech. He was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I had alot of water in my basement which I thought was from a clogged basement drain, which it was not my issue.. I had roots in my main line.. Soon as Sean unclogged my main pipes, all the water ran the drain! I was very happy with their service... The only problem I had was the company gave me a 1pm appt, but they did not get to my house until after 3pm. Thats how they schedule their appointments.. I still give give them a 10!

Mr. Rooter attempted to clear my drain and was unsuccessful. Nice young man apologized and told me were good when I tried to pay him. They have harassed me since for a nonexistent fee. Mr. Rooter made a concerted effort to correct the miscommunication of our prior contact. The first guy that came out was totally rude and an asshole. I told him to leave my property and never come back. They sent out another tech Sean Ford who was awesome. Super nice and did everything possible to fix my issue. He wasnt successful but I would give him 5* and highly recommend him. The other guy, I dont know his name should be terminated.

Cleaned work area very well including entrance to house protected floors well. Really super nice guys thank you for attaching them to my job. Absolutely amazing service at an extremely affordable price!! Called Tiger originally, they said we needed all the pipes replaced in our home and that they couldn’t fix anything at all. Then we called Mr.Rooter, they came right out and fixed the issue in less than an hour and we didn’t need a single pipe replaced.And, they charged us a FRACTION of what Tiger charged us. 10/10 will never use another company again, always Mr.Rooter from here on out!

Mr. Rooter did great! They were able to come this morning, tell us what was wrong and fix it for $700 less than the company that came last week that canceled on us the day they were supposed to come. The only issue we had was when we originally called it was after hours on the weekend and the answering service didnt say anything about there being no weekend emergency calls right now, they told me someone would contact me shortly, few hours later I got a text that they would be coming Monday so when I called back and got the answering service I was confused and asked if there was anyone someone could come before that and the person was very rude and said no we dont do that and said they would send a message to the office to cancel. Once we were able to talk to the actual office things went smoothly and we understood why they werent able to come out on the weekend. This is the second time I have used Mr. Rooter and I love them.

When it was discovered that it could not be fixed, they helped schedule another person to come out, who diagnosed us with serious problems in the sewer lines. I’m so happy 🤍☺️ The price felt too good to be true but these guys came on time, were polite, were careful with my house, did not disturb anything, and promised a follow up!! I’d have paid double. Had representatives come out to snake my drain- 90 dollar fee, unfortunately that was not the issue and more needed done so they brought out a camera for 375 dollar fee. I dont understand quite why the camera cost is so much higher but I get it- payed them both those prices combined at the start..found out using the camera that it was unable yo go past like 3 feet from the outside of my house. So they say they have to break ground and dig it up- 5k for that cost approximate. They found I had a piece of broken pipe that was fixed with a piece of a bucket (yay me) and they had to take out that whole line- so another 5k cost added on. And THEN they brought the camera out again and found ANOTHER collapsed pipe down the way and ended up having to dig out my entire front yard.... total cost after that? 19.1k. The guy kept saying he was giving me discounts cause I am a first responder; idk if those discounts ever went through cause he made it sound like I was getting 3k off- but I dont think I did. The first time you call to get a loan through their loan offered company the price they start with is 20k for a loan. So I think I only actually got 1k off.The men that came out were professional for the most part, got things done pretty well. Explained things for the most part and if i had a questions they were readily available to help answer. One man kept hollering the word unreal when something would happen constantly, though- so if you work 3rd shift may as well buy a hotel haha- that may be nit-picky of me, but it bothered me.They accidentally cut my wifi line as well while digging and I had to call ITV3 to come out- had no wifi for greater than 24 hours but itv fixed it quickly thankfully.The aftermath of my yard is sad, the men I am sure did what they could but there are pieces of pipe in the dirt I am now having yo shovel out, many pieces actually. The dirt is also very raised up but I am told it will slowly settle overtime...The process was long and sucked but I was grateful they were able to fix my problem, it was quite expensive- the men at Mr. Rooter go problem by problem though and explain things to you every step of the way. I am thankful they saved my plumbing.All in all took 5 full business days for them to complete which is not bad!

I had a bad issue with sewer called Mr rooter they came same day ! First they sent snake guys shawn and kody they were quick and professional.Then they sent Kyle he was their camera guy he was honest and gave me a quote and I was pleased with what his quote was over other so called professional people.He did a camera scope found issues all through my sewer he told me what needs to be done and nothing more! Then they sent the crew to replace the old sewer system which was brandon and hunter they worked very hard and kept it as clean as possible and did a very good job then the next day they bought more people to get job done which was another guy named Peyton these guys all worked hard then I have to give shout out to rest of team for professionalism and courtesy Sarah,chelsea,Tim and Taylor for a great job in what they did as well! Had to have my sewer replaced and also had plumbing issues. Jason W provided me with a free estimate and said they would get started the next day. Im not very trusting since I am still paying the prior 2 plumbing companies, but there was something about Jason, the way he explained things, his confidence in knowing what needed done, and hes just a good guy! So I said yes.Cory & Jake showed up the next day. Both very hard working and just the nicest guys! Cory was very good about explaining each step and making me feel involved in the process. He did a great job of mentoring Jake who is newer but you woud never know. It was a big job which took a couple days, and I was sad to see them leave today because they are just awesome people. Jason, Cory and Jake, you guys are my heroes!!!!!!!! I will recommend Mr Rooter to everyone and am also giving them a shout out on my towns FB page.

Needed our sewer line augered due to a recurring issue. Mark was extremely friendly & accommodating, and though he wasnt able to fix our clog, he got us pointed in the right direction.Mark gets an 11/10 in my book. They even cleaned up after themselves before they left, which other plumbers never do.Though I explained the specifics of our situation over the phone, the estimate we got did not line up with the estimate our technician gave. I think a more thorough explanation of what exactly is included in each service offered would help clear up some confusion.UPDATE: Jason came by and used the camera to find the clog in our sewer line. He did a great job explaining what was going on throughout the process & he answered any of the questions I had. He proposed a solution to fix the issue & gave me an estimate on the spot. It was outside of our price range, so we plan to shop around for different estimates. I definitely dont feel comfortable taking a direct loan from the Neighborly company.However, Jason was great & very personable! Mark and another man came to my house at 5:30pm on a Friday. He put the auger right in my toilet and within in seconds it was unclogged. I could have cried! It was clogged for 2 days and I thought it was going to cost me $200. It was only $95 to get it unclogged! Praise God!

Not fully awake I go to Google, fill out a form to get someone here right away this morning thinking its tree lines backed up or gutters etc. Around 6am to 7am I Google n make a call thinking they should be open now. 8am-830am BOTH ROTO ROOTER AND MR ROOTER show up! Mr Rooter 1st. I said well I contacted you both by accident LOL so assess and give me opinions n quotes. Facebook post comments at my double booking post said DO NOT GO WITH MR ROOTER! BUT I CHOSE TOO. I was impressed by the 1st set of guys showing so promptly, assessing and giving me a reasonable quote. Roto ROOTER team was also VERY PROFESSIONAL!! Mr Rooters guys did their job n left. Hours later the Field Manager came and checked their work, put the camera in and I was super impressed by the additional follow up and service!! So all the FB comments and posts about Mr Rooter I have to disagree. I wanted to give you ALL a 5 Star and would recommend for Referrals! One or 2 bad experiences shouldnt affect opinions. Specifically Jason and (not so specifically) NOT Scott (aka Tim... who likes to fool others by wearing uniform shirts embroidered with the name Scott on them) came to the rescue today with a great attitude, friendly demeanor, and most imoprtantly the knowledge, tools and know-how to identify and verify our exact problem needing solved. Within 30 minutes of arrival, Jason and Tim [aka NOT-Scott] had an estimated contract to move forward in solving our problem as soon as the next day. And lets just say the estimated price (while not cheap by any means) was almost 50% of what multiple other local Plumbing contractors had offered! ROOTER who helped in bringing this job to its completion, and making sure all was in order from beginning to end, such as Brandon and his co-worker, who on the final fill in the hole-day took it upon themselves to make a final correction to the original layout to ensure the new drain to sewer would function at its best. I had a copper water pipe decide to freeze and break on me. They were able to send someone out on a Sunday to get me and estimate and offer advice on temporary fix measures I could take to last until my appointment. They were very upfront about scheduling. They were punctual and patient with my questions throughout the repair process. Nate and Jason were the primary workers on my job but kudos to the man who sold the job and the man who did the demo. I really appreciate all of you.Because of where the damage was they had to take out some concrete flooring to do the repair. They took care of the demo and repair of the concrete. I do not have any floor covering but I feel confident theyd handle that as throughly and professionally as the did the rest of my job.They have digital billing capability and I appreciate that my card information is not just getting hand written and stored on paper invoices somewhere.I would recommend their services to anyone and if I have a need I will be using them again. Once they came out to dig it took them 4 days to come fill the hole ( inspection and raining:understandable) but they didn’t take any time to ensure the first hole (not in the correct location) was filled fully causing a huge sunken spot in the yard, the additional area for the second hole was filled however the yard was a mess that we had to try and move the remaining dirt to the right location and out of the driveway and sidewalk. I would recommend because they did come out and fix the pipe however, just be ready to do your own labor if any clean up after digging is required.

He did a good job and really a nice guy. Efficient and professional...my only problem was they were over an hour past the time I was told. He was apologetic however.
