I really can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Mark and Higgins Sewer. We live in midtown area and have had issues for years, called Mark and he was willing to fit us in at 5 on a Thursday. He figured out the problem, got our water flowing and was so professional and nice and down to earth. He is now “our plumber”. Edited to add his price was super reasonable!

There is no one better! I recently tried a large chain to clean a blockage in my main sewer drain. After trying briefly, they told me they were unable to clear it and that I would need to pay them to scope it with a camera so they could tell me my repair options. I instead had Mark Higgins come out for a trusted opinion, and he was able to clean the drain on his own without the need for a large expensive repair. I cannot recommend Higgins Sewer & Drain Cleaning enough. Truly a company you can trust to do things right the first time for a fair price.

Sewer issue played out like a BAD Christmas movie...3 pm on the Saturday before Christmas. 30+ people ( house guests and visitors) due in next 48 hours and problematic basement drain decided to act up. Call to regular plumber went straight to voicemail. Called Higgins Sewer and Drain based upon some positive online research..It was a true Christmas blessing. within less than 3.5 hours the job was done.. faster..cheaper and cleaner than any prior service call with other plumbing company.. Hopefully things are GOOD for awhile but I know who I will call if the need arises!! Thank You!

I called for service at 8:15 Sunday morning, Mark was at my home at 9:30, terrific response. He evaluated the blockage, quoted a fair price, and had my drain flowing within the hour. Mark came out yesterday morning to unclog my main sewer line due to tree roots. Ive had one of the big name plumbers around town out twice (Ole Bob) to fix it and not once has any of their techs shown a tenth of the knowledge, honesty or skill that Mark did. With Mark, I had a skilled plumber, not a salesman that was trying to get me to spend thousands of dollars. He made it an easy process from start to finish. I prefer to support local small businesses when I can and when the urgent need for some main line sewer assistance came up, I selected Higgins Sewer & Drain Cleaning based on a few other great reviews. Mark did not disappoint. He was available within about an hour of my call and promptly arrived ahead of schedule.We walked through the issue and Mark got right to work to resolve the clogged line. In no time, he had cleared the line all the way to the street. Mark was courteous and detailed in his explanations and also did a terrific job cleaning up after the job was finished, even though the mess was likely half there before he arrived.I couldnt recommend Higgins Sewer & Drain Cleaning more highly. This business is fantastic! I was having water backup in my basement through the floor drain. This was also during the rainy time which ended up creating a huge mess in my basement. Higgins Sewer & Drain Cleaning was the ONLY company that was will to come in an look at the issue and fix the problem. The big guys either didnt want to mess with the problem or immediately pointed the finger at the wastewater company and said that Id probably have to dig up my sewer line since my property was older. The technician came out and cleaned out 4 large bunches of tree roots and the water immediately started draining. They came back a couple of days later to camera my sewer stack and sewer line and delivered great news that I had no other issues. I was also extremely pleased with the reasonable price they charged for their services. I will definitely use this business again when needed and for preventive measures.

Higgins was amazing! They were on time and saved the day. We had started a plumbing project of swopping out sinks and needed the shut off changed for cold water. Came in and switched it out even though the main shut off to the house was not shutting off the water to the house. He ended up coming back with a helper that evening and replacing the main shut off to the house. Will use this company for all my plumbing issues from now on!

Did a fantastic job explaining what he was doing and in an hour had everything done and cleaned up. After 2 cleaning companies landing on my property ( And paying them )I hired Higgins to come out and work with KCWater to verify a line break at the main on my property (Per the previous plumber ). After some work it was found I had two drain systems. Higgins continued through the day to clear the old grey water line, even coming back later to finish the job ( He just didnt want to give up ) and completed the job in time for the chiefs game.He also disinfected the area and moved my deep freeze back, left the area the way he found it.
