Our pump died during the holidays with a house full of family. The receptionist was able to find a crew that had some time and dispatched them to us the same day (not always possible). Chuck was excellent, carefully explaining the context for what they did, and offered excellent advice for maintenance and future upgrades.

I gladly give American Pump and Drilling a five star rating. I know the word awesome seems to be used a lot these days but this company truly deserves the title. Our situation went from not having any water in the house-because of what another company had messed up on and couldnt get back to fix it for two weeks-to having these guys come out and in a very short time setting us up with a whole new well water system. I love having constant water pressure now and highly recommend it for an upgrade to anyone on a well. Our first call (thanks Tiffany) to these guys proved they really care and brought Shane out the next day, on a Saturday! He did some thorough testing to troubleshoot and was a pleasure to deal with. Then came the installation team-Eric, Chuck and Zack, anybody needing plumbing done will be really lucky to get these three guys. We were so very very pleased with how clean they worked, their knowledge, their competence, their upbeat attitude and how patiently they answered questions and explained what they were doing--what a fantastic team! We congratulate the owner of this company in hiring so well and thanks for the expedient service to our emergency.

We purchased a new home in October 2024. Shortly after we moved in, we experienced a significant issue with our well. Needless to say, we were quite frustrated and felt as though the seller did not properly disclose this known well issue.In comes American Pump. They dug and built the original well in 2022. They were quick to come out to our house and diagnose the issue. We even had the owner of American Pump come out to our property and show us how our whole well system works (we have a very sophisticated reverse osmosis system). Mike was simply top notch.Once we received the estimate of the repair, American Pump put us on their work schedule almost immediately. They completed the entire job in less than two days and we now have a wonderful functioning well that produces high quality water. Plus, we are now educated on how to maintain our system, thanks to Mike and the American Pump team.It is tough to purchase a home and then almost immediately have to make a $12,500 repair, but we are thankful to all the folks at American Pump who fixed our well quickly. Plus, the communication from them is pretty solid. They are a small business, so they may take a little while to get back to you on detailed questions. But, they always answer the phone and are extremely customer service focused. All the technicians are extremely knowledgeable and Tiffany, the director of operations is truly a class act. I highly recommend American Pump for all your well water needs.

We have had great experiences with American Pump and Drilling (APD). The first time, our water had an odd sulfur smell, like rotten eggs, and couldn’t figure it out. We contacted APD and were lucky to work with Shane. He tested the water, gave us options and was very open to answering our questions. Within a week or so, we had a new water filtration system and softener installed, and no more smell. Chuck and Eric were wonderful in walking us through maintenance and troubleshooting. A few months later, we had e.coli show up in our water and we contacted Shane. Within a few days, the problem was solved and always with great communication along the way. The customer service and quality assurance is outstanding!

Shane came out to our property and was very genuine and professional about what we needed. It is the fanciest upgrade to a well pump we have ever seen and he helped educate us on the use of our upgraded system. The owner and team went above and beyond when our community well pump serving 53 homes went down on a 100 degree day. They were willing to build us a pump overnight, then install at the bottom of our well the next day giving the neighborhood drinking water back within 36 hours of it failing. Given the emergency nature of the call out and an install involving 3 trucks, what Mike charged us was well below what he could have. We have worked with them for many years and have never been let down.

Ive been using American Pump since 2009 for our well-water filtration system. They never let us down from the installation, the annual service and repairs. This time was no exception. After we replaced our well pump, part of our water filtration system quit working, likely due to rust. Joe Greene went above and beyond, tearing it apart, finding the problem and fixing it. I called American Pump and Drilling after two unsuccessful attempts by two other companies to diagnose and repair my pump. This was a time when I had no water at my home. Chuck Peterson and Eric Coble arrived at my home on a scorching 98-degree day and worked tirelessly to identify the problem causing the water shortage. Their thorough investigation involved phone calls and consultations with other members of the company. Eventually, they arrived at an amazing solution that didnt require a new pump or well (saving me a lot of money!). The following day, they returned and effortlessly resolved the issue. If you need a new well, this is the company to do it, with no reservations at all. I have a large home and agriculture property that had a failing well. I was in dire straights with other well companies telling me I had to wait months for a well from them. Not American Pump, I called them and was amazed at Mikes concern for my immediate problem. He not only worked me into their schedule to get a well fast, but he expertly navigating figuring out how best to install it. He took all the fear and confusion away. American Pump and Drilling was awesome. On a Saturday our well system stopped working. Monday morning I called their office and nearly begged for their assistance. Although all their crews were already dispatched, they managed rework their schedule and a team showed up within hours. Chuck and Josh jumped right in troubleshooting the system and discovered a problem with the wiring, and in minutes we were back in water. While here I asked them to replace a very old and corroded pump control box to head off another outage just waiting to happen. The cost was actually lower than expected! Because of the general lack of maintenance and knowledge of the well and mechanical systems and the costs of repair and replacement, a good inspection is always recommended. American Pumps & Drilling is always spot on with scheduling and taking care of all of our water needs. We have a ton of Iron in our water and they are on top of keeping our filtration system running smoothly.
