Excellent Service - Highly RecommendI contacted American Plumbing Contractors on 12/28/2024 at around 8:30 PM for a leaky shower knob. Casey answered the call and was extremely helpful. He asked for details about the issue and requested a video to better understand the problem. After reviewing the video, he explained that their on-call plumber, John, would reach out shortly.John called back within 10 minutes and thoroughly explained the after-hours/emergency charges and his diagnosis based on the video. He even suggested waiting for regular weekday hours to save money, which I really appreciated. We scheduled an appointment for Monday between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.On Monday morning, I received a call at 10:30 AM letting me know John was available earlier than expected and was on his way—great news! Despite running into a series of unexpected challenges during the job, John stayed calm, professional, and upbeat. He completed the repair successfully and even connected me with another company for some restoration work I needed.The service I received was outstanding from start to finish. John and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly. I’m so impressed by their professionalism, communication, and problem-solving skills.10/10 service—I would absolutely recommend American Plumbing Contractors to anyone!

John was great! Very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient when it came to removing my old kitchen sink (double drain) and replacing it with a newer cast iron sink (with one drain). I was quoted $1k and paid just that to have the newer sink installed with a new faucet. I was quoted a really high price with a competitor plumbing company and used American Plumbing Contractors because I read their prices were reasonable. I’m very happy with my services and APC will now be our go to for any future plumbing issues. Thanks again John!

I had Chris over at my house today and he did a fantastic job, gave great recommendations to improve the pipe structure under my sink away from shark bite fittings. Late on a Friday night our house plumbing system lost water pressure. I called American Plumbing to request an emergency repair. Austin came out within an hour. He was friendly and polite and up front on costs. There was an underground leak on our water supply lines. He got right to work, dug a hole and found the leak, a broken bronze fitting. The part wasn’t on his truck but his colleague, John, brought one by to save time. They finished the job promptly , filled the hole and charged us less than the estimate. We are extremely pleased with Austin and John and highly recommend them for their fast, fair, friendly and excellent service and will call them first for any of our future plumbing needs. Had water leaking from our tankless hot water heater. Was able to get an appointment quickly and the repair was completed in less than 30 minutes. John also adjusted the temperature on the unit to the recommended temp as the previous contractor had set it higher than was recommended.I have used American Plumbing in the past and they are my “go to” plumbers for any work than I need done. I highly recommend John and American Plumbing for your plumbing needs!!!

Making the call initially started a great experience, right away someone was dispatched to my home for a crack in my water heater. John Varley showed up promptly and did more than his due diligence to diagnose the problem, checking everything to ensure we were fixing the correct thing. John Was very quick with providing an estimate as well as easily getting me on the schedule for the following day to complete the work. On the day of, John showed up right at 11 as he said he would and immediately started work. Communication and efficiency was fantastic, as well as being a genuine person who cared for the work and service he was providing. John also was very educating and patient with all of my questions, animals, and small child. I was set up on the membership for annual inspections and other specs which not only puts me at ease for future plumbing needs but also made an already fair price for work even better. Great experience overall, would highly recommend and look forward to utilizing this company again. JOHN WAS GREAT!

Gabriel and Chris repaired a damaged toilet flange and installed a new toilet for me. This is part of a large ongoing flood repair project. It is incredibly stressful. Gabriel quickly responded when the evil shut off valve that caused all of this blew off and needed to be replaced. These men were so kind, efficient, respectful, and skillful. Their visit went a very long way towards making me more optimistic that there IS light at the end of this tunnel. I will definitely call when needed in the future and request Gabriel and Chris. Steve (from the office) was also very accommodating and kind. I appreciate it all.

John and Gabriel came out late Christmas Eve afternoon to diagnose the leak causing the water to come up through the floorboards. Once the landlord approved it, they were back on 12/27 to replace the water heater and fix a leak in the bathroom. They are enjoyable to have around, very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you, both! The city left a notice on my door on Wednesday saying I had a leak. So I called America Plumbing from doing a search and they can out Thursday. I asked for a evening appointment and Austin came out got started but he wasnt able to finish because of daylight. The next day Zeek (hope I spelled it right) came out and after a lot more digging and cutting of tree roots he located the cracked line and got it fixed. In my opinion both tecs were friendly and got the job done and at a reasonable price for 2024. If I have any other problems or if someone needs a recommendation it will be American Plumbing!

We were in a bit of a pickle as our shower handle broke completely away from the shower cartridge, which prevented us from shutting off water to the shower. To make matters worse, this occurred on a late Saturday afternoon and, our attempts to evacuate the existing cartridge from the hot/cold water shower valve proved futile. As the issue needed to be fixed same day, were worried about finding an available plumber during weekend hours, especially as evening was quickly approaching. We called American Plumbing Contractors hoping for a miracle. Austin, the on-call plumbing technician, answered and put us at ease over our shower issue. Austin provided an ETA and arrived exactly when he told us he would. Austin was extraordinary, professional throughout, and swiftly extracted the old shower cartridge and replaced it with a new unit, all in under an hour! American Plumbing Contractors is our new go-to company for any of our plumbing needs. I highly highly recommend their services.

The quality and value of American Plumbing Contractors is a well-kept secret. I would like to change that. They do a lot of work for our Church and I am the guy who inspects it for the Church. Every job they have done has been impeccable, professional, and timely. Their work has instilled in me the utmost confidence in them to do work that I know I can rely on. They are so good that I asked them if they could help with with a home project and they responded immediately. I had them move an outside water faucet and troubleshoot a bathtub drain problem. Kjell moved the faucet so quickly and professionally that it amazed me. The bathtub drain issue proved to be more of a challenge but Kjell overcame it with a new drain system. My wife is so happy that the tub drains well now. Ive had other plumbers in the past but American Plumbing Contractors, Inc. is, in my opinion, the best value on the market. Kjell Peterson was awesome! He diagnosed the problem with my tankless hot water heater (only 5 years old) when two other plumbing companies said I had to replace the water heater. He took the time to contact the manufacturer of the heater in order to troubleshoot the problem.I was extremely happy with the result and our hot water was flowing good again.I highly recommend American Plumbing. We had a leaking shower that would drip 24/7. I had tried to do the repair myself but failed and finally decided to reach out to get quotes from the professionals. The owner Casey got back to me right away with times the next day for his guys to come over and see the problem and get me a quote. Kjell was the technician who showed up and was fantastic. He and I discussed the problem and then he clearly explained my options. Since it was not a straightforward repair, he told me the cost for both best case and worst case scenarios if I did decide to move forward. His prices were reasonable so I decided to proceed. Kjell went to work right away and was able to complete the best case scenario repair within 1 hour of being in the home. I saved his number in my phone as soon as he left, we will be using these guys again for our future plumbing needs.

Highly recommended. American Plumbing has done several jobs on my house, including an entire fire sprinkler system installation with the original contractor, and two, separate, more recent jobs directly for me. They installed a water heater expansion tank, and also a garbage disposal (which I had purchased at Costco). On both jobs we had GREAT communication; they showed up on time; and provided trustworthy, professional performance at a reasonable price. They cleaned up after both jobs, and the finished work looks great. I am completely satisfied with all of their work, and will gladly use their services if/whenever needed in the future.

Will did a great job of diagnosing the water leak plus fixing the problem by installing a new valve on our upstairs shower faucet which resolved our water leak. Will also installed the same valve on our master bathroom so we avoid future problems. Will is very polite & gave us helpful advice. My wife & I are very pleased with his work.

The service I have received from American Plumbing contractors is top notch. The plumber for my two jobs so far was, Kjell, He gives superior service and is very timely. He ran new lines for my Kitchen install during the framing phase, and when the Cabinet Installer was doing the demo of the kitchen we found the 1970 shut off valves were leaky. One phone call and he told me what to do until he could get to the house, which was very prompt, where he capped the lines until the cabinets were installed. The day after the Counters were installed he ran all new PEX lines to the kitchen and connected the faucet, drains, dishwasher, disposal, icemaker and gas cooktop. The job was clean, professional, free from leaks, and just all around the best plumbing experience I have had. As soon as I have the resources I will be having Kjell remove the rest of the galvanized plumbing from my house and install PEX throughout, I completely trust his work.Highly recommend American Plumbing Contractors and will be a return customer.MDB Lakewood, WashingtonUpdate:Three years later I needed plumber services for seating 3 toilets I received for Christmas.
