    Dane from Weld & Sons was extremely helpful, informative, and efficient in repairing plumbing damaged by a prior contractor doing unlicensed plumbing work. He performed two tricky repairs and addressed other issues at a lower amount of time and expense than anticipated. Im delighted to have a functioning bathroom again and will be using Weld & Sons for any and all future plumbing needs. Thank you!

    Called Weld for a leak in our main line. Had used them for our church and was very satisfied. The office person was knowledgeable and made sure the plumber would understand what needed to be done. They were able to get to our house fairly quickly. Did the job quickly, even though he also had to get a city guy out to shut off water to the house. Job was done well and the price was very reasonable.

    Marcus and James from Weld & Sons Plumbing completed the plumbing rough-in for my Master Bath Remodel which included re-locating a toilet, plumbing a free standing tub and rough-in for a walk in shower. They did an exceptional Job. They were very curtious and explained the work being done requesting my input when needed. They were very neat and cleaned up when work was done. John Weld did the estimate and was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done. They were also the least expensive of 3 other bids. I look forward to their return to complete the Plumbing finish work when the tiling is completed. I would highly recommend Weld and Sons for your plumbing needs.

    Weld & Sons installed a new water softener and water heater in my home. They did a fantastic job installing both- the staff who came out were friendly and professional, answered my questions and gave me a fair price for both.     Amazing experience with Weld & Sons plumbing when I had a leaking shower. I was fortunate enough to have Kent fix the shower and he even stayed to test my hard water and assure me I had a well functioning water softener. Prices are extremely reasonable and cheaper than other businesses I received quotes from and most importantly there is no attempt at up-selling. I would recommend Weld & Sons, but specifically Kent, for any plumbing needs. We will certainly use them in the future. Thank you!Edit update: We used weld & sons a second time two months after our original and it was once again an outstanding experience. Dayne came to fix our sump pump at an incredibly reasonable price and since he was so quick with the repair he even looked at some other plumbing questions we had.     Weld Plumbing helped us with our new back-up sump pump system project from start to finish. They are a company of honesty and transparency top to bottom.     Had Weld and Sons come out on short notice to perform some gas service work in our home and they did a fantastic job! Marcus and Matthew were great to work with, very professional and genuinely personable gentlemen. They double checked all of their work, re-started all of the gas users in our home, and checked again for any leaks or issues. They were very neat and orderly, placing drop cloths in all of their traffic areas, and cleaned up after themselves when finished.     I’m beyond thrilled with the work Weld & Son’s did on my house. Being a first time home owner, the idea of plumbing repairs and costs frightened me. Don Weld came in and truly walked me through his recommendations on my property and then sent in Marcus and James to complete the work. Thorough, kind, engaging. The whole company is lovely to work with. I’m excited to go to Don and his team anytime we have plumbing needs/questions/projects and will be referring everyone we cross paths with to this company.

    If there are any plumbing issues in your home/property you need to hire this company. I am a recent homeowner and I am still dealing with the previous homeowners DIY solutions. Turns out I needed a new water softener because the one we were using is older than LeBron James. Luckily, I was recommended Weld and Sons Plumbing. W&S sent out their best by the name of Kent. I took 30 seconds to study this 63 burley gentleman with jaw that could cut diamonds and fingers the size of size C batteries. I said to myself This guy can probably crimp the lines with his bare hands. He took a brief look at our current system and to my recollection said, Why the Hell would they put this with that, next to this over this? I meekly told Kent, I have no idea. I think the previous owners were a bit into the DIY aspect. Kent removed the 1990s water softener, removed and installed more efficient coppering lines, AND installed the new water softener in what felt like a blink of an eye to me. Kent would say probably about 4 hours. Any plumbing solutions I need, I will call Weld and Sons. I wish I could give 10 stars.

    We have been customers of Weld & Sons Plumbing for almost 20 years in two consecutive houses in the TC metro, and they have always treated us well. From rough ins for two complete tear-out kitchen remodels, a basement half-bath addition rough-in, to two water heater replacement emergencies (14 years apart), they have been our go-to plumbers, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the metro area. I didnt expect they would be able to fit us in today (a Monday) with no notice after our 14 year old water heater died over the weekend, but they made room in their schedule for us and showed up within 90 minutes of speaking with me on the phone. They were quick, efficient, and friendly. The install was tidy and looks like quality workmanship. Thank you, Weld & Sons for the long hot showers we will be enjoying for the next decade or more!

    Weld and Sons came out to replace my water heater yesterday and they were on time, kind, competent, and incredibly reasonable on pricing. There were several code issues to upgrade and had limited space to work in (requiring a totally different water heater that could accommodate the space), and they handled it all very efficiently. I will go to them first for any plumbing needs going forward. I don’t often do google reviews, but they were all-around so outstanding, I felt compelled to give them a good review. I would recommend them all day long!

    Weld & Sons are The Very Best!! After four days with a broken hot water heater, (and waiting for Champion Plumbing to provide an estimate following their $90 emergency visit), Weld & Sons were promptly at our door to install a new, high-quality system. The job was done immaculately and within only a few hours. Weld & Sons impressed - from our very first call, to meeting our plumber and seeing his work. It was so refreshing to work with Weld & Sons, who are knowledgeable and courteous; they are true professionals who provide excellence at every stage. During Champion Plumbings $90 emergency visit we experienced the exact opposite - we were disheartened by their exorbitantly high rates and the inflated time allotment their plumber said the job would take. And... the plumber from Champion Plumbing never followed through to provide a quote as he said he would. Side note: nobody in our friend/family circle could recommend a good plumber when we asked - but now we have one. Weld & Sons will be added to all of our contacts, very happily!

    I cannot express the amount of appreciation I have for Weld & Sons. It took me more than a year to talk myself into a huge project to be completely replaced and repaired. All washer lines and wash tub to laundry. Weld & Sons did an amazing job. Everything was brought up to code and I have a piece of mind after over a year of issues. Don was always there to take my calls and discuss. Brant and the team that came out were fantastic.     My husband and I could not be more satisfied with the work Dane did at our house on a semi-emergency call. He arrived at the time we were told, installed a new kitchen faucet then asked if there was anything else he could do for us.....hmmmmm....yes! We needed help with a bathroom tub faucet. Again he worked quickly and professionally. We could not be more thrilled with Danes work. Our guests from Switzerland arrived later in the day and everything works!!!! Thanks Dane & Weld Plumbing.

    I love being loud when someone goes above and beyond. On Saturday, our fairly new and sole shower went from great water flow to totally stopped. After trying all of the basic stuff, unfortunately, we called Deans Home Services first, as we are new to the area and had a membership to their “club” from a previous call. They sent someone out Monday around 5pm, and for looking at things, unsuccessfully snaking things and trying to water jet, they charged us >$700 with no result. The tech said we would need to have a plumber come out tomorrow to continue working on the solve and that it will probably cost 3-5k! OUCH! (Also, wait, we asked for a plumber to come, and you’re not one? Weird.) Tuesday AM, we never heard back from the dispatch about someone coming back, so I had to call and request that another person - this time a plumber - come out to finish the job. Mind you, we already paid them over $700… finally that afternoon, a plumber comes and and says he only does the estimate for the work and that the job will be $2,500+. I run a small design build shop, so looking at the estimate and knowing approximate time/materials, I was blown away at the cost, even after we already paid $700… THEN we called Weld & Sons and it became what it should be… simple and helpful. The dispatcher immediately let me talk to a plumber (Tim! Bravo!) to describe the situation, there was a cancellation so they came out the next AM and were able to so all the work for… $619! So Dean’s would have charged us 3K more. What’s the Dean’s jingle, again? (Not) “outrageously professional!” Also, Brandt was the plumber and was awesome - helpful, fast and kind. All good things!

    Ive had excellent experiences with Don Welds family-run businesses, both the Weld and Sons plumbing and his egress window guy company, this past year. The recent plumbing work was completed by Zach who did a great job using both PEX and copper. The PEX is in the ceiling where it is not visible and the exposed copper pipes running down the wall to the sink look great.This project changed my quality of life as I had been washing dishes either in a bathroom sink or running upstairs to the main kitchen.Many thanks for your help in improving my living space and doing it keeping both functionality and aesthetics in mind.Egress Window Guys were here in Summer of 2023 and installed two egress windows that let in an incredible amount of light into what had been a dark basement. Another quality of life change!Tiffany was a fantastic communicator at Egress Window Guy as the point person handling all of the incoming jobs/customers.

    I was replacing an old dishwasher and ended up unexpectedly needing to swap out a valve and some supply hoses. A neighbor recommended Weld and Sons for their quality work. David showed up the same day and was very professional. He did high quality work, and with the remaining time on the service call he talked with us about some future projects we are considering and made some excellent cost saving recommendations.     Behind on posting this as it was about 2 weeks ago but I believe it’s important to acknowledge a job well done. I got a referral for a plumber as the Bigger Company I had used I realized was too expensive and they try to up sell you all the time . Boy I wish I knew about this place sooner ! I basically needed the inside of my toilet tank replaced, so not a super huge project. I called and was received a return call to schedule within 15 minutes plus also quoted a possible price . It ended up being my lucky day as the plumbers got done early on a job they were at and could cone to my place next. Kent and fellow worker ((sorry I forgot his name), were extremely professional, friendly and in and out in less then an hour . I was soooo impressed I’m planning on using them again whenever I have any plumbing needs plus it’s a local company not a huge chain. Very impressed !!!

    Weld & Sons did great work and they were really friendly and down to earth. Even better: reasonable prices. We had a leak requiring replacing drain pipes under the sink and reconnecting fridge and dishwasher water lines. Estimates from two other companies were more than $2k. Weld & Sons: $587. Weld & Sons will be my first and only call from now on!

The job started by Zach coordinating with the City of Minnetonka to arrive and shut off our water at the street.Zach allowed me to watch him as he replaced my valves in a very timely and precise fashion.     Ive used Weld and Sons for many years on a wide variety of commercial and residential projects. I really appreciate that theyre a full service shop and can handle anything. Craftsmanship is top notch at Weld. Their workmen are thoughtful and thorough. Ive never had a call back in 20 years of business with them. Theyre organized, the business office people are easy to work with. The techs show up on time. Theyre prices are very fair and while theyre not the least expensive plumber in the metro theyre the very best. Theyre my first call for plumbing related anything and my only recommendation I give to friends.

    Outstanding service from Weld & Sons, from the front office to the guys doing the work in the field. On the coldest night of the year our old water softener sprang a leak at the main inlet pipe. Replacement was already overdue, and we didnt know how long wed have to wait with so many people dealing with frozen pipes. Zach arrived even sooner that expected and was able to replace the unit the same day, for the price we had been quoted. Prompt. professional, polite, and thorough--and left the place spotless after the repair. We were happy to have them go above and beyond our expectations, and would recommend Weld & Sons exclusively for plumbing repairs.

    Weld & Sons replaced a sump pump for me this summer. I was really happy with everything. They came to my home the same day I called. The plumber was professional; the work was done well, and the cost was reasonable.Update - I needed them to come out and take a look at something with the pump about a year later, and they provided service beyond what was covered by the warranty.     These guys are excellent!!! Over the past few years we have had a bunch of different plumbers over to our place. Weld & Sons are by far the most professional, reliable and friendly plumbers we have had.We had them install drain pipes in our basement, which required them to jackhammer up the concrete floor. They did so in a very time efficient and clean manner (seriously impressive).Their plumbers were both super friendly and talkative. They offered advice on how to proceed with my project after they left. Truly a 5 star experience.

    Would recommend highly 110%. I recently completed some work on a duplex and wasn’t happy with the work my contractor’s plumber did. Called Weld & Sons Plumbing to have them come out. They were able to get me an appointment right over the phone. I received a reminder call the day before the appointment and prior to their arrival. Dayne corrected the concerns in both units in half the time I was expecting. Dayne took the time to answer all my questions; he was very polite and professional. Unfortunate that I couldn’t trust my contractor to find someone to do the job right the first time; however, I am very lucky to be a Weld customer now.

They get it done, are practical, patient and explain everything, are considerate of others budgets and have a great team from management, scheduling to their plumbing team.     My house has a clogged drain then causing the basement to be flooded. There was a technician come out already to fix the upstairs bathroom wax ring but they did not pay attention to the other details. Weld & Sons has great customer service, in particular the after office hour. Victor was very knowledgeable and even listening to my description, he was able to understand the issues, estimate the hour job, give me a fair hourly rate. I did not have to worry about the unknown overcharges for the other companies came out and always tell you it depends. I had called over 5 different companies the people answering the phone has no idea what you are talking about, they are only documenting the issue and not able to answer anything. Victor however is the plumber himself, so this is different. He took time to explain the issues, and he made recommendation on site with what is needed, and did not try to rip me off by suggesting me to replace everything I did not needed to replace. They are upfront with the pricing charges so I dont need to worry about the overcharges. Their estimates on the number of hours of work needed to fix things are fairly accurate. They helped me with changing the faucet, fixing the faucet that was broken, and changing the main water pipe valves. At the end, they refer me to another company to take care of the Sewer problem as well (American Sewer) and that company was amazingly the best companies amongst all of the quotes that I have gotten. What I have realized is that almost everyone just tried to tell you that you need to fix many things but they may not be needed. Weld & Son and American Sewer are both very fair and professional and answer many questions I have. I just would highly recommend them!

    I had a leak in one of my water main shut off valves. I got quotes from three places, Welder and Sons came in at about 2/3 the price of the next cheapest option. The receptionists I spoke to were kind and knowledgeable. I was able to get a slot first thing the following morning and the plumber came on time and ready for the job. It was done within the quoted time and he was very personable answering additional questions I had. The work looks professional and I would absolutely recommend this company based on my experience

    Everyone was very helpful, personable, and genuine. I had low water pressure in my home and the receptionist helped me troubleshoot it over the phone. When she had met her match she had Mr. Weld call me directly and he diagnosed it as my water softener without even having to make a house call. They came to install a new one (Zach Weld, one of the sons) and he too was very personable, genuine, professional, and instructive. He even noticed a couple of things that I should do to better prepare my house for winter (things to do on my own, NOT up sell stuff). Thanks Zach!! I will definitely be coming back to them with any of my other plumbing needs.

    We had multiple plumbing issues we needed addressed, but didnt have anyone we trusted to call, so we continue to put everything off. Finally we received a recommendation to call Weld and Sons. We contacted them with our long list of items. They were flexible with us when scheduling the work, and were patient as we worked through all of the issues we needed help with. Clyde came out and did everything we asked, and spent additional time explaining certain things to us. He had great customer services, was friendly with my dogs, and spent a good amount of time. The pricing was fair, and we were really pleased with the service. We had one small issue that still needed to be addressed. We got the part and attempted to do it ourselves. Unfortunately we were unable. Clyde had called to find out how everything was after the fact and we mentioned we were unable to get the part installed correctly, so he put in a work order to send Kevin out to finish the install of the part on a continuance - meaning they didnt charge us extra for the second trip. Kevin was also very friendly, very helpful, and good with my dogs. He also took time to explain to me what was going on and why we were unable to do it without the expertise that he had. So thankfully between Kevin and Clyde, our monthly water bill will be reduced by more than half after addressing all of our issues. I absolutely would recommend this company, and I look forward to using them again when the need arises. Thank you for being an honest, fair company that values customer service.

    Absolutely top notch pros. I had my basement roughed in for a bathroom and was very impressed with Weld & Sons. They arrived at 7am on the dot and actually had an inspector come over by about 2pm. Couldnt believe that the job AND inspection was done same day. This was for a full bathroom, and they also wall hung a new utility sink. Cant recommend highly enough.

    We are remodeling our bathroom and received 3-4 quotes for plumbing. These guys were a competitive price for the work we needed done while also being a trustworthy company. They did a great job and followed all of the design instructions we had given them.     The drain in our utility room was overflowing. Our serviceman, Brad, did a great job. He got all the tree roots out from the main line and restored everything to working order. Plus, the price they quoted on the phone was exactly the same as the final bill, which is always nice to see. Great service and friendly people!

    Once again I am 100% satisfied with the work done by Weld & Sons. I have used them on several occasions for a variety of plumbing issues, and have always been satisfied. Today was no exception. Ben was at my house for over 3 hours. He not only replaced the water heater, but noticed I had a pipe leaking at the joint, pointed it out to me, and repaired that as well as installing a shut off I could actually use. The previous shut off hit the wall before it could completely shut off the water. I highly recommend Weld & Sons as they do a great job!

    Had a plumbing emergency on a Saturday morning. I called the main office number, described my situation. I received a call back within an hour from the tech on call, Dan. Dan came to our house and was kind, courteous, very professional, and solved our problem.
