Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had with any home repair. It’s obviously hard to find out you need your sewer line repaired, but if you want to pick an amazing company, this is it! If I had to do it over again, I would pick Cichy’s again. They explained everything thoroughly and made it as painless as possible. I love that there was no pressure & the price was reasonable. There is a reason why so many people recommended Cichy’s (even another company recommended them) — they are great at what they do & they are an honest, reasonably priced company. I contacted Cichys for a quote on a sewer repair and cleaning for a home we are soon to be closing on. Even though we were out of their service area, Mark still reviewed the inspection video and even drew a picture of what he saw so I could better understand. He contacted me and talked to me like a real person, didnt make me feel like I was asking any stupid questions. I told him about a quote I got from another company, and his knowledge and expertise saved us tens of thousands of dollars that wouldnt have been necessary. I had cracks in my sewer line leading out to the street and every year or two had to hire a contractor to grind the roots out. An inspection with a camera was recommended after an Especially long cleaning and one crack was especially troubling with pieces of the clay pipe missing. I had contacted several contractors for an estimate to repair the sewer pipe with a liner. I decided to go with Cichy based on several things including a friends recommendation that also had used them for the same issue, price and also for the fact that they do all the work from the outside so you don’t have to have your basement floor jackhammered which could create a new set of problems. Cichy’s crew showed up prompt both days and worked hard. We stayed in the house while they worked both days and only had a 4 hr period of not to flush the toilet. The final bill came a little over estimate but stipulated what could cause that and my friend who recommended them had their final bill come in under the estimate. The price was still reasonable based on the other estimates. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a sewer line problem

Spectacular service, very quickly scheduled and even more quickly done! They came out to do a significant replacement of my sewer line (24 feet of pipe ended up being needed) from within feet of my house and inches of my front stoop. They did a solid job of retaining the lawn as much as could be expected given the scope of the project, but even more importantly avoided cutting or damaging the stamped concrete pathway/stoop that wound around the area they needed to work on. They were very respectful of my neighbors property line close to the work area. They accomplished this all within 8-5 business hours in a single day. They scheduled me for 04May after providing an estimate on 19Apr (very short turnaround in the middle of what I understand to be their busy season). Mark and Jess were very helpful along the way, and the crew was very friendly and professional. Im extremely pleased with my service, and would recommend Cichys to anyone who might need any of the services they provide. This was a major expense for me, and Im thrilled to have faith in the service that Ive received. Thank you Cichys!!

We worked with Cichys to repair our sewer line that was disconnected and required excavating to fix the issue. We had multiple contractors out to bid on the work and several of them recommended Cichys because of their unique service of hand digging the holes, which is much less invasive and avoids any potential concrete damage. As anyone looking at sewer repairs knows, its stressful. Cichys was fantastic to work with, they were very responsive, reliable, accommodating and pleasant to speak to. I highly recommend them for any sewer repairs, particularly when excavation is required. Id be remiss not to mention this digging took place in January, they made it happen under difficult circumstances! Thank you to Jess and their fantastic team!

I truly appreciate it when companies are both good at the physical work they do, but also take the time to explain everything and be available for anything that comes up. Its never good when you have to call a sewer repair company - but all in all I had a great experience with Cichys, couldnt have asked for better. I was calling as a realtor for a client who just purchased a fully occupied rental property. They answer their phone on the first try, get back to you with bids extremely quick, and the final invoice matched the bid exactly. They also communicated really well with me throughout, and with the tenants on site. I was able to coordinate all work remotely and did not have to meet anyone at the property which is a huge plus. As a realtor its always good to have go-to vendors for all sorts of home owner related issues. Cichys will definitely be the sewer repair company I recommend to all of my clients.

The city told us that our stop box (water shutoff) wasnt working and needed to replace it 20 days before we closed on selling our house. Cichys came out to fix it and found that it actually worked. Not only did they NOT charge us the thousands of dollars it would have cost to fix, they worked with the city to get them to agree that it worked and provide documentation for the new homeowners. They totally went above and beyond in, what was to us, a very stressful situation. Cant recommend them enough.

Wow - Thank goodness for Cichys! We discovered a broken sewer pipe in the home during the the coldest temps of the year in January and were very concerned we would not find anyone to fix it.We quickly contacted 8 different water and sewer companies and Cichys was not only the only one who could help us - but 3 of the 8 companies told me to call Cichys! THEY are the only ones we know who can hand-dig and do the work you need... We had our house up for sale, during an inspection it was discovered that our main line to the street had broken in one place and a bad crack in another. We called Cichys, since we have used them in the past and had referred them to 2 of our neighbors, who also hired them. Jessica is the office manager she is so nice, caring and professional, she is the person you want to call when you have a problem, she knew how important it was for us to get the sewer fixed asap. I had inquired to Cichys about having work done, unfortunately they did not service my area. The reason for 5 stars is that Mark returned my call in a timely manner and took time to explain the process and things that I should be aware of for my project. Having spoken to many other excavating companies and plumbers, Mark was extremely knowledgeable and gave me ideas outside the box. If this is how they treat customers that they cant work with, I would imagine when actually doing work they are great.

I contacted Cichys as we were told by another plumber that our 90 year old sewer line was in poor condition and we needed a liner. Our neighbor used Cichys for a job at their home and spoke highly of them so we opted to get a second opinion. June 2020: Securing a quote, scheduling an appointment, showing up on time and completing the work in a clean, professional manner - Cichys team was great on all fronts. My water pressure, however, was significantly reduced after the work to replace my shut-off valve at the street, and it took me five months to pick up the phone and call the City about it.The City suggested that debris can sometimes get into the system with the water shut off work Cichy performed. I called Cichy back, and although it had been five months since they did the work, they came out within 48 hours of my call and addressed the problem. Again, they were super courteous and professional, and the problem is fixed.I received three bids for my water shut off at the street work and while Cichys wasnt the least expensive, they were the only company with staff who were very confident about what the work would entail and what it would cost.I would re-hire them again without question!

When I called, the first thing the professional did was look up my property on two different map programs to make sure they had the right view of the area required digging. That led to a conversation of the range of options possible once they uncovered what was going on down there. I didnt love the upward end of the estimate, but I trusted the estimate because she knew my property now and the distance to the street. She also knew that because I live on a busy street the sewer pipes are deeper...yadda, yadda, yadda...my point is, this was an estimate that was not a guess, but based on data she made a point to collect first with me.I called two other places for estimates. No one else expressed interest in learning the exactly where to dig, let alone jumped on the address with alacrity.I was not disappointed with how it all worked out. The folks showed up on time, did their work, kept me apprised of the situation, and talked to me about what made sense for follow-up within 1 year, 2 years, and five years. Oh, and their video of the piping remains online without being deleted.My situation ended up being the low-end of the range of estimate. I was lucky. But what I realized was that if it had been the middle range (or unfortunately higher), I wouldnt have been ripped off or lied to. Thats a really good feeling when youre leaving an unexpected house expense situation.

Cichys replaced sections of my sewer line to the street that had come uncoupled and the experience could not have been better. It took them less than a day to dig a deep hole in the front yard, replace the damaged pipe, inpect the remaining line, and fill it back in. They were all courteous and friendly. A key factor is that they also informed me of the fact that sewer projects like this can be paid for through the MPLS Sewer department as an assessment on property taxes, spread out over five or ten years. That information makes a project like this much easier to take on, and Cichys walked me through that patiently. They are the best! Id re-use them in a heartbeat.

Cichys came out and replace part of our broken Sewer main in NE Minneapolis. The crew was on time and completed the work in a day. Our sewer break was right below sidewalk the city had replaced 4 months previous. They were able to cut out the sidewalk, dig their trench, replace the pipe, fill in the trench, and place the sidewalk piece down again without breaking it. If I hadnt watched them dig a huge hole there I never would have guessed it. The sidewalk looked perfect and the dirt surrounding the area was perfectly level.

I would give these guys 10 stars if Google had them! I cant express how IMPRESSED and grateful we are for everything they did and the way they did it. They replaced over 100 ft of old pipe using a directional (underground) drilling method that allowed us to keep our yard intact while getting a brand new sewer line.
