    I had my kitchen sink back-up at 7:30 a.m. They were able to come out at 10:30 a.m to snake the drain. Dan and Isaac were both very professional and friendly. They did clean and thorough work and cleaned up afterwards. They provided me with some other tips on future maintenance as well. Highly recommend Service Star for plumbing needs.

    We had a toilet tank leaking into the toilet. It turned out to be two problems.Josh and Dan initially diagnosed a simple solution to one, and only charged for a service call. When The second problem surfaced, Dan came back the next day. Both service people were friendly and professional.

    I needed a new toilet with bidet installed. Service Star was hundreds less than another plumber estimate. We had a snowstorm that day so I was concerned they would cancel on me but they came right on schedule. They were efficient, double-checked that the bidet worked and the toilet was sealed properly with no leaks. I will no longer use any other plumbing company, only Service Star.

    We called Service Star Plumbing for a third opinion. They responded quickly and were able to provide service the next day. Dan was our plumber and he was exceptional! We were greeted warmly and were well taken care of. He assessed the situation and gave us three options with the costs of repair. He was honest, thorough, and quick to repair the issue. Obviously, we picked Service Star Plumbing over one of the other companies that only gave us one option and was three times the price of the repair that Star Service Plumbing Provided. The first company wasn’t able to give us an estimated price at all. Thanks to Service Star Plumbing, our repair is fixed. We had to leave a positive review. Don’t hesitate to call Service Star Plumbing. They will now be our first option for plumbing needs!

    I called to schedule my appointment and the receptionist knew what I was talking about about better than I did. The plumber showed up, had the parts, and was super quick. Most importantly, he was super chill. He did not try to sell anything, but let me know some stuff about my water heater in case I wanted it replaced. But there was not even any attempt to sell anything there. Excellent experience.

    A+ customer service and support. I own a building in Plymouth, MN and just had a great experience with Service Star. The city fried both our electric water heaters when they turned off the water main for 15 hours during road construction in front of the building. Service Star was out within a day to install the news ones. They came right back out when one wasnt working, turns out the city fried an electrical line as well. This wasnt on them, but they came right out to assist us in figuring out what happened. I highly recommend this company, and they have earned our business on all future plumbing needs. Thanks to the tech Dan and the owner Nate for everything.

    I had a wonderful experience with Service Star Plumbing! After contacting them, Nathan was able to come out the next day to take a look at my water softener. Lo and behold I needed a new one. They would have been able to install a new one the same week, but due to my work schedule they were able to come out during my next availability. I was concerned about the cost of installing a new water softener, but Service Star Plumbing was able to offer financing that worked for my budget.     Dan was great! We had a water heater crack that was leaking water and he was able to come out the same day I called. He arrived early and was able to fix everything for us within a few hours.     November 2021: We had a flooded basement and they were able to come within 30 minutes of calling. Determined it was tree roots in the main line and got right to work. Gave advice and bids on bathtub drain too. Great guys!Updated on June 20, 2022: This company continues to be amazing. We were having slow draining challenges again, so I contacted to take the recommended route from the fall. It turned into a MUCH bigger project than anticipated with staff here on both Friday and Monday. They walked me through each step of the way and were thorough and detailed. They are fantastic. I was able to work primarily with Dan this time, with Eric as an add on the 2nd day. Amazing services. Great guys!Update May 10, 2023: Had an issue with outdoor spigot. Old house. Old plumbing. VERY responsive to call for help. Took time to explain everything and walk through options. Thanks again to Dan.Update July 12, 2024: Basement floor drain backing up (again). Old house. Drought with parched trees last summer. Dan came out right away. Cleaned it up and put a camera down. He was able to diagnose right away that it wasnt tree roots or any human cause, rather scale build up on old pipes. He gave me many tips for weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance to ensure flowing water. These guys are the best!

    I had 1 of my commercial properties pipes busted. I had another company come out first they looked at the problem then said they needed to come back out in 2 days because lack of man power… huh…? I wasn’t too confident in their analysis and explanation of what took place. So I called for a2nd opinion which is when I called Service Star Plumbing. A gentleman came out I believe his name was Ed. He was very professional, he walked the area and took the time to show me the issue and why it occurred. Ed then told me how long the job would take. That he could start that day and have it completed. The job only took a day annnnnd I saved money on the job as well. I strongly recommend this company. They were very transparent and efficient. Bravo!!!

    Service Star (Nathan & Gavin) came (January 2024) & reviewed the situation: a very slow draining bathtub. After the review, Nathan told me that the problem was in the pipe from my tub all the way down to where it joined the larger pipes in the basement, that it was very old & needed to be replaced. He also told me that there was a leak problem in the bathroom sink trap & that it should be replaced as well. He gave me three (3) quotes, with different prices & involved 3 different fix scenarios – a couple more less expensive shorter term fixes to the most expensive, which took care of all problems for the long term. I appreciated getting those choices. I went with the long-term fix & they went to work & finished the job. He also told me that the tub stopper (plug) was not code-compliant & switched that out with a new code-compliant one, which was definitely an improvement. He also noticed that the shower hose was leaking & fixed that as well (thank you!). From beginning to end, from arrival to departure was about 3 hours. I was impressed! So grateful & happy that this job was completed so quickly & efficiently & I now have a well-functioning tub, shower & sink! Also they were very courteous & friendly. A very good experience.     Had the Plumber Dan C come out to fix my toilet drain and install a shower/bath. He made a mistake and damaged the surround. The good news is a new one was brought to me and installed.     Wow, these guys are great! I am almost 70 yrs and have never hired a plumber before. My husband (and I) always took care of repairs. Widowed now, and frustrated with what needed to get done, I called these guys. Jody, (a sweetheart) scheduled for someone to come the next day. I was told when he was on the way, along with his name and his picture!! Who does that!! This kid was so nice, respectful, and a fellow Harley rider! He honestly went over and above on this job and the price for what he did was sooo reasonable! Nathan is definitely my go to plumber guy!

    I was very happy with the repairs performed by Dan from Service Star Plumbing. He notified me when he was on his way and he was right on time.     Dan and Gavin were very knowledgeable and informed us of what future treatment might be required due to tree root removal in the interior floor drain. While they were here we had them replace and old toilet that wasn’t functioning adequately. They promptly ordered the toilet and had it delivered and installed within an hour. Cleaned out the old wax buildup and removed the old toilet and everything was clean and tidy when they finished.We would highly recommend them as they were very professional, courteous, conscientious and knowledgeable.

    This is the second time we’ve used Service Star and we will continue to do so for any plumbing needs, as well as recommend them to anyone in the area. Dan came out at 8am to inspect a leak from our water heater, which turned into 7 hours of hard work replacing the heater and fixing a separate toilet issue. He was upfront with all of my options, various risks and was frank about potential worse case scenarios. I felt very confident in my choices because he gave me all the information I needed.     I have never hired a plumber for anything before. And Ive heard horror stories from people about their plumber experiences and pricing. So I was pleasantly surprised how quickly Dan was able to come out to my house - the day after we connected - to provide an estimate. He arrived on time (I received texts, letting me know he was en route, so I didnt have to sit around waiting during his 2-hour arrival window), and I walked him through my needs: repairing a water pipe and running a water line to my new refrigerator. He then prepared an estimate with three options, so I could see all that he recommended and choose what would work best for my preferences/budget. He got right to work and completed the task the same morning! He was friendly, explained everything to me, and was just a pleasure to have helping me through this project. I will absolutely hire Service Star Plumbing (and, specifically, Dan!) in the future.

    Ive employed Service Star on my last two plumbing jobs; Eric has been the team lead on both. Both experiences have been excellent! Eric is the kind of guy you want as a service provider - knowledgeable, capable, flexible, courteous - a professional. My first job was a kitchen renovation that required a new sink location - water stub-ins for sink and dishwasher, drain & vent tie-ins, plus sink and disposal installation. I also had a frost-free hose bib installed. All of the work was done meticulously with no leftover mess - even in a construction zone! He even fixed a shut-off valve that was previously installed incorrectly by another company to remain un-named. The most recent job (16 months later) involved replacing the last of the galvanized pipe in 1950s Rambler - drains, and water stub-ins to two bathrooms. Eric also installed a new vanity/sink, and another frost-free exterior hose bib on the other side of the house. Eric was precise in his wall demolition where necessary to gain access to some of the plumbing - other places required no demolition and he left no trace. While working on the hose bib, he determined it would be best to cut the pipe back beyond the valve inside the house - he installed the new valve at no additional cost. And a couple days after the job was finished, I thought one of the sinks was empty a bit slower than it should so I called and spoke with Jody (always excellent customer service!). She scheduled Eric to come out the same day - only to find that it was some normal-type drain clogging stuff (soap scum, hair, etc.?) in the sink drain/trap. Eric basically performed my routine maintenance cheerfully and without charge. I find this type of service to be exceptional. Thank you Eric (and your additional crew) and Service Star - youre my first call with plumbing needs!

    Kurt came out and estimated various projects related to our gas piping. The diagnosis and design were complex and Kurt did an excellent job of explaining the options and the cost for each of the different approaches. It turns out that I need to get Centerpoint to upgrade my meter and service line 1st. Centerpoint came this week, and installed a new higher-capacity, high-pressure gas meter. They were great to work with. Then Kurt of Service Star returned at noon to reconnect the house to gas and install a few regulators. Kurt also hooked up our Culligan water system to our refrigerator drinking water and ice maker. He had to get very creative to do that without tearing up the house. I am extremely pleased with Kurts work. He is friendly, smart, creative, collaborative. And does meticulous plumbing work. I dont want gas leaks or water leaks. And hes very thorough. I recommend Service Start without any reservation.

They were efficient, communicated well, offered multiple options for repair and beyond, and they also gave me a few extra pointers about gas and water.     Eric and Dan installed a reverse osmosis drinking water system for us. They were on time, very professional and courteous. They explained what they did and how to operate and start up the system. They cleaned up completely after they were done. The workmanship looked great.
