He explained the process clearly and provided pricing and options upfront. He cleared the main line of the tree roots and recommended cleaning another drain to prevent any secondary issues. Brett of Cutting Edge arrived at the promised time ready to work.He had to break a brass service port on the sewer line to gain access to the line, and provided a high quality replacement cap when the work was completed.He used his camera system to do a complete inspection of the sewer line from the house to the main line in the street, located the line restriction (tree roots) and discussed solutions and costs. His power auger cleaned out the restriction, and a follow-up camera inspection, recorded for future reference, cleared the line.At all times he was respectful of my property, using drop cloths to protect floors and carpet.All in all, a completely successful job done by an experienced technician. Highly recommended.

Joe called to let me know he was ahead of schedule and arranged to show up early, which is excellent.It turned out one issue was not plumbing related, but an HVAC issue. Joe FaceTimed a colleague in HVAC to show him the problem and arranged for an HVAC service call for me.Our second issue was a garbage disposal that wasn’t working. It was simply slightly unplugged. Hands down to this place! Much respect for Brett for coming out on a same day appointment. Brett break it down into so many details about what he will be doing, and how much it’s going to cost. He answered all of my questions and also provided me with a couple of great suggestions to better my water draining system. I was able to watch him use his live camera, in which he fed it into my draining system. It’s very interesting to see what is lurking inside of my pipe. Support these guys! We had been having a problem with our main drain for a while and I had enough of cleaning up the mess and trying to fix it myself, I had called a few places previous and no one could fit us in to their schedule and I happened to google plumbers in the area one last time before I called someone to start digging and Cutting Edge came up on the screen, at first I was a little worried we were to far out but she answered the phone and from the moment they took my call they were professional and had someone out by 10 am. At first Cutting Edge said they could come the following day and we located another company that would come first thing in the morning. I had a bad clog in my old sewer pipes and called a few places that never got back to me which I always find very Bizzare that so many businesses dont want business. I finally called Cutting Edge and he answered the phone right away which was refreshing! Brett came out out right away and he spent the whole day there and part of the next day because it was so bad. I reached out to this company after another plumbing company recommended them. The original company was not able to unclog the tree roots from my main drain line. I immediately called Cutting Edge and I was going on 1+ day with no running water and a baby at home. Brett came over within an hour of my calling even though it wasnt an emergency call. Within minutes he had identified the source of the clog. It wasnt an easy situation at least for DIY. I had given it a college try but it just required the work of a professional. Not only did he fix the clog- which was a massive hairball tucked behind the pipes under the bath that my snake couldnt reach but he helped me better understand the problem, showed how I could better access it in the future, and removed unnecessary components no longer needed that were slowing the water, so it is better than before. Great service, fast and effective.

We have used Cutting Edge Sewer and Drain twice for our main sewer in our South Mpls home. The first time we had our main sewer back up and they were able to come out within 24 hours. The tech was great and talked us through the process and let us know what was wrong and what we could do in the future to prevent backups again. We called on them again 9 months later to do preventative maintenance and again we had great service. They called to let us know they were on the way. When they got to our house they were friendly and prompt. They left our space the way they found it. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family!

I was told by another plumber that I was going to need to dig up my yard and pay $6,000 to clean out a few small roots in my main line. I called Cutting Edge for a second opinion. They showed up within an hour and told me they could simply cut it out for $395. What a life saver!DO NOT USE Twin Cities Rooter, they are a bunch of Scam artists! They came in to clean the line for $95, use and undersized blade that leaves part of the root and tell you that you need to get a camera in there. Then they see that the small blade didnt get anything and claim you need to dig up 10 of your yard to cut in a cleanout so they can rake two directions to clean it out!? Thank goodness Cutting Edge Sewer & Drain was honest!

She broke down all the pricing and was extremely helpful. The technician came out the next day, on time, and again was extremely helpful. My neighbors late at night on Saturday had a clogged drain in the basement bathroom, they called me to help them (because it was later at night) and because no advertised 24/7 plumbers or drain specialist like Roto-Rooter would come out that night and help them, in fact, the earliest anyone would come out and take a look at their drain problem was Monday or Tuesday.So I helped them clean the bathroom and bucket out all of the access water.When I got home, after midnight, I called Cutting Edge Sewer and left a message with Joe on his cell phone.The next morning, which was Sunday, Joe the owner called me back and told me that he could send someone buy noon, so I called my neighbor he contacted Joe and at about ten minutes before noon Chris, one of Joes employees, arrived at my neighbors house.Chris was very professional, efficient, and polite, Chris found the problem gave my neighbor an estimate of the repairs to remove the toilet and snake out all the drains.My neighbor agreed to the amount for the repairs and Chris within a couple of hours had cleared all of the drains reinstalled the toilet and was packing up his tools.As Chris was leaving he gave us business cards so we would now have a plumber that would come out 24/7 as advertise, and help us out of any future plumbing issues.Thanks Chris and Joe for everything it is much appreciated .
