Absolutely phenomenal and clean work at an amazing price!Before Blue Yeti, I received multiple quotes from other plumbers some of whom either quoted me an absurd amount for replacing my whole house’s pipes or full-on refused to work on my precarious albeit non-urgent pipe leak because it’s galvanized steel.My experience with Blue Yeti has been nothing short of perfect. Here’s how it went:1. They answered the phone super fast, listened to what I had to say and sent someone over the day after for an assessment and a quote. Remember, it wasn’t an emergency!2. They sent over Chris who’s not only is super knowledgeable and clear, he was also very open to my obnoxious questions and requests… I’m genuinely impressed by how open he was to my weird requests. Chris was quick to point out the scare tactics from other plumbers and quoted me a VERY reasonable price.3. Even though we scheduled our repair for 2 weeks out, the issue got slightly worse, so I decided to go out on a limb and give them a call to see if we can move the repair up to an earlier time. They moved it up by over a week, no questions asked. Talk about accommodating!4. Due to the appointment’s move, Chris wasn’t able to make it, so John did. John was extremely courteous when my pretty annoying dog, Henry, jumped on him full speed (sorry!). John was also just as clear and honest about what’s needed for a worst case scenario, which I really appreciated!5. John kept me in the loop throughout his work giving me updates on necessary changes and mitigations he was able to make to the puzzle of a repair job I gave him.6. When done, John showed me the (clean) work of art he was able to achieve AND delighted me with a “I managed to fix it with less work and materials than originally expected, so the amount billed to you will be 30% less than we originally quoted you” (paraphrase). Are you kidding me!? If this is not enough of a reason for a 5-star review, I don’t know what is. And have I mentioned his work was just [chef’s kiss]?I think I finally found my go-to plumber in the twin cities. Thank you folks so much — truly amazing work!

Background: We had an installation of a furnace and A/C.++: communication, value, brand name of equipment, honesty and cleanliness of work--: Wish I called them first.The quote process was very efficient, and extremely competitive! How competitive… we chose them after getting 3 quotes.The installation was within a week, we didn’t have a failed unit, so it was no rush on our side. The communication on install time and date was clearly communicated (I got a text and email). The team arrived promptly at 8. They were careful with our home (lots of pieces coming up from basement). Communication during the installation process of how it was progressing was clear and they answered all my questions without feeling like I was interrupting them.The workspace was cleaned when they were completed and all debris was removed.Highly recommend Blue Yeti for your AC and Furnace replacement!

These guys are the only plumbing and HVAC team that we will call!! The team over at Blue Yeti is wonderful to work with. We had them install a water filtration system with a softener, as well as an RO system. The water filter system required the piping in the basement to be reconfigured. They not only inspected the area before giving us a quote, but they also helped us come up with a great solution to our problems. The Blue Yeti team showed up on time, completed the project in a timely manner, and they left the area cleaner than they found it. They are professional and very thorough. We are so excited to use our new water system in our house.

Our furnace was over 20 years old so we decided to get ahead of the eight ball and get a new one, even though it worked just fine. My neighbors had used Blue Yeti for a new AC/Furnace last year and she did a ton of research before they were chosen and were very happy with the whole process. From the first text to the last one, it was smooth sailing. We were quoted a price, we selected the furnace and it was installed within a few weeks (we were in no hurry), absolutely zero issues. They installed it in a short amount of time and left the furnace room just as clean as when they got there which I appreciated. Did I mention the price? Highly competitive, way below the estimate from Standard Heating & Air. We highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again!

Highly recommend! I called at 8am and Mark was able to come out to address the problem at 11am the same day. Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the issue with water leaking from the ac due to a clogged trap drain very quickly and showed me how I could clean it out for future. He offered some additional maintenance items to help keep the life of our unit running as long as possible but did not pressure me into addressing them now. I have used Blue Yeti on several occasions now and it includes the following: pipe leak repair, pipe upgraded from 1956 in laundry tub, faucet replacement for laundry tub, another pipe leaking, repair of this pipe leak, which was basically another replacement. I had several people from blue yeti out to my house as well as phone conversations. Every interaction has been professional, informative and comfortable even in a pretty stressful situation. The bottom line is that these are good people and very knowledgeable plumbers and it’s a family owned business. They offered both simple and more complex solutions so I could decide what worked best for my budget and goals for the space.We previously utilized a handyman who was low cost and quick to do a bathroom remodel. Yeti came in to fix the disastrous plumbing that was installed. The two crew members were kind and helpful. They had to completely deconstruct and reconstruct the plumbing, faucets, drains, etc.We now have a beautiful bathroom that is functional. I highly recommend this company, and the two plumbers.

Woke up this morning to water all over the utility room floor due to a leak at the water meter. I called Blue Yeti around 8:30 and they had Chris at the house by 11:30.Unfortunately he could not fix the leak until the City came out to turn off the water at the street. I called the City, they came out to turn off the water, and Chris came back around 1:00 to address the issue.When he was done with his repair, I told him I was worried that the only way to see if everything was OK was for the City to come back and turn the water back on. He understood, was not offended, and offered to wait for them to do that.Well it is a good thing he did because there was still a small leak with a part that could only be supplied by the City. So the City returned to their shop to get the part, Chris replaced it, and everything is good now.Thank you for the promptness and flexibility. This could have been a real disaster going into a 3 day holiday weekend!

During a toilet replacement in our basement bathroom the bolt broke and required the excavation of the original 1926 soil pipe. It took only 6 hours to jackhammer the original cement, reroute the soil pipe and vent pipe and pour new concrete. Mark and Chris used tarps to keep the stairs clean and promptly hauled out all of the mess. Blue Yeti has always been quick to respond, courteous, and have delivered excellent workmanship.

As a newer company, Blue Yeti ranked 3rd when searching for ductless maintenance. The first place I called said they wouldnt service my unit because they didnt install it??? (not mentioned on their website) and the second place rudely said they would maybe have time to schedule me 3-4 months into next year.John from Blue Yeti came out the next day and tuned up my unit in record time and for half the price. He also noticed that the installers didnt setup the unit in an optimal spot (not surprising as I had other issues with them) and he offered to come back in the Spring/Summer to test and verify.Meanwhile he answered a couple of other plumbing questions (they do this as well) and cleaned my downstairs neighbors unit at no additional cost! I signed up for their annual service plan and will gladly recommend their services to anyone. Was a pleasure doing business with a local company that cares about customer service and the work they do.

Called to reseat 10 year old toilet due to finding what looked like small water stains on ceiling below the toilet above it. John, the owner answered the phone on a Friday afternoon, and was extremely responsive, scheduling a plumber to come out immediately the next Monday to take a look. Chris and his partner, whom he was training, arrived on time and Chris knew right away there was a problem since the shut off valve to the toilet was stuck, and then discovered there was a leak in the main shut off water valve coming into our 60 year old house, and the one going to the rest of the house, so both 60 year old valves needed to be replaced. Since the water could not be shut off that day, Chris immediately made arrangements to come back 3 days later to replace the main shut off valves, reseat the toilet to look for any water damage, and contacted the city of Edina to come out and shut off the water to our house before they arrived. Chris gave us a detailed estimate for the work and also told us that there would only be a difference of about 20 dollars more to put in a new toilet, so we opted to buy a new toilet. We appreciated his troubleshooting skills, his honest assessment, recommendations, the fair estimate and how quickly he made arrangements with his company and the city to return in 3 days. He also checked another toilet valve and found that one stuck.When they returned, Chris replaced both main water valves in the basement, installed new shut off valves for 2 toilets, called the city to return to turn on the water, while his partner removed and installed the new toilet. The work was completed in under 3 hours including clean up. We were very happy with their hard work and how professional they were. However, later we noticed the new toilet wobbled a bit upon use, so we called and they returned early the next day and retightened the bolts. Again we were happy with how responsive the owner was and how quickly they could return. Several months later when cleaning the base of the toilet one of the bolts came out. My husband thought it was broken which seemed odd. Again, John the owner, was very responsive, apologetic and determined to make it right. He made arrangements to come out with his crew within a few days to assess the situation. They pulled the new toilet and found immediately that the old bolt had been installed instead of the new one and it was an error on their part. They again apologized, recleaned the base, reset the toilet with new bolts. We realize that mistakes happen, especially when training new staff, but we were very impressed that they owned up to their mistake and were determined to make it right. It is refreshing to deal with such an honest, ethical company and a family run business. It is difficult to deal with plumbing issues in older homes, especially toilets. Kudos to John the owner and to his staff, especially Chris who has excellent assessment skills and found the leakages in our main valves. It also turned out that there was no water damage to the flooring where the toilet was replaced which was a huge relief! Thank you very much Blue Yeti. A happy and satisfied customer.
