Carson was very personable and professional, and handled a few complicated situations that arose with the job smoothly and with obvious knowledge of the issues. He gave me thorough information and laid out my different options clearly and without pressure. The job (actually 3 different issues that needed addressing) was completed more than satisfactorily!     Our Septic Sump pump decided it no longer wanted to play a part in our lives anymore. It decided that Tuesday October 8th 2024 was the day it was done. My first call was to Proficient Plumbing. They were very responsive and sent Carson out within 2 hours of our call. He correctly diagnosed the problem, gave us options on what to do and left us with enough information to make an informed decision. He also explained that he could install a high water alarm, to keep this from happening again. Carson was back the next day to replace the pump, some piping and add the high water alarm. Very quick, efficient and most importantly - CLEAN. Would absolutely use them again.

    The company was pleasant to work with. They showed up when they said they would. The communication was very good. Carson was also a pleasure to deal with. Nice guy and seemed very knowledgeable. I am an HVAC technician of 12 years. I could tell he was NOT full of hot air.He cleaned the main drain and scoped it with a camera. The previous company had plan that included an extra technician. Carson came up with the idea to pull the toilet and do it by himself, saving me some $$$. The equipment used seemed top notch.He was able to locate other future root problems for repair. He made videos of camera footage and provided with link to YouTube.He had other suggestions for better performance of my drain system. He was not a pushy salesman by ANY means.He did a very good job of keeping the path to the door clean with a drop cloth as well as wiping down any mess before leaving.Will recommend and 100% call for my next plumbing need.

    I cant say enough positive feedback about this company. I posted a project on Thumbtack, requesting help with relocating my main shutoff for our house water to an interior closet, as well as routing my kitchen cold water line through a whole house filter in my garage. I got a call within 10 minutes of posting. And then the plumber, Carson, showed up at my house within 30 minutes. Not only was he thorough, but also super kind/courteous, thoughtful, and went above and beyond in pretty much every way. He fixed everything I asked for and more, surfacing some other items I didnt know about and went way past the request, cleaning out the sediment from my tub faucet, making sure my house bibs were in good functional shape, and helping us devise a plan for preparing to replace the galvanized throughout our house. Im so glad to have found a plumbing company that I trust, and I wont be changing for a very long time. Price was totally fair, and it actually ended up being slightly less because of some real-time problem solving. Left everything better than he found it. Highly recommend. Quality work, good prices, fantastic staff.

    We called Proficient Plumbing to have them come out and perform maintenance on our water heaters. We were able to get an appointment quickly. Brian came out and explained everything he was doing and performed a thorough check of all of our plumbing.     I have used this business many times over the last 15 or so years. They have always been honest (when others were not), extremely thorough (found things that were needed to be repaired when I didnt know, saving us a bucketliad of money). We recently had a second bathrooms scheduled and they were on time, professional and informed us of their progress). I have recommended them often!Most recently because they suggested running a camera on outside clog we were able to let the City know there was a broken pipe in the street area that needed repair. No more plumbing issues!

    Proficient assessed the state of all components in my Flowmaster water filtration system and confirmed it was working correctly. They also adjusted settings to work better for my needs. They were completely knowledgeable about the system and explained alternatives to me as well as giving me a rough estimate, while they were here, to replace a pressure regulator valve.Excellent service and focused customer approach, including full explanations of how the system works, which the installing dealer had not provided. (It was relatively new technology at installation, with only a single authorized dealer at the time...a dealer I was not happy with and would not use again.) 100% impressed.     Returned from vacation to a busted water heater that had reached the end of its life. Proficient Plumbing made it out the next morning and had our hot water supply back before returning from work that night. I was able to to give them the garage code to get in and do the work while I was at work myself. Very convenient and these guys are trustworthy. They also noticed that our house could use some CO2 alarms for our gas appliances and got these installed also. I highly recommend these guys and trust they are going to do the appropriate work needed at a fair price!

    Brian has provided excellent communication from the first time he has come out to see us. He has worked hard to reduce costs if possible. There has been a water leak issue (now we know it is coming from the foundation and not from plumbing) and it would have been so easy for him to make recommendations that were costly and I never would have known the difference. He has been up front and honest, and willing to continue to come back to examine things after foundation issues are taken care of, to ensure that all has been fixed properly and there arent any sneaky leaks anywhere else. Well never call anyone else, hes been wonderful!*Update 4/2/2021 - We have had Brian and Sean out several times this year for help on a different water issue in our home. Nothing has changed, they are excellent communicators, on time, professional, and so willing to help in whatever way they possibly can.     This is the second time weve used Brian, and have had the BEST experience both times. Our most recent plumbing issue involved the automatic faucets at our business that came out at an extremely high pressure and sprayed everywhere when you attempted to wash your hands. We were missing the tool needed to address the issue that was specific to our faucet head, but Brian took the time to find the replacement (not easy) and was able to fix the problem that same day - saving us the $1500+ it would have taken to replace the faucets. We will definitely be using him again for any plumbing problems in the future. Thanks Brian!

    I had reached out to 4 different plumbers. Brian was the first to respond. While he had a full schedule, he made time to come out at the end of his day to take a look at our water heater.     We had a deep clog (30 feet in) in our kitchen sink. We hired a handy man to help unclog it first and he made it worst. So we contacted proficient plumbing through thumbtack. They responded quickly and came out the next day. The plumber unclogged our kitchen sink without creating a huge mess (unlike the first guy) and fixed the pipes under the stink because it was installed wrong. Thank you for coming out within 24 hour and fixing our plumbing issues.

    Had an issue with outside Spicket leaking. Was referred by neighbor to call proficient plumbing services. I am so glad I did. This was the first time I had a service come look at what was wrong, then explain possible solutions, and finally quote what it will cost before working on it. Not only that they also came and showed me the old parts and not only explained what happened but showed me what was causing the leak. They then turned on water and walked me to the spicket and tested it a couple times before finally in station in wall. They also gave me quotes to decide later on preventative services and maintenance plus estimate on water softener. I will definitely use them for future service and repair. Thank you

He inspected the sink and the faucet before he installed it. The faucet was scratched so he left to pick up a new one. He made sure everything was working perfect before he left.
