    I am very pleased with Meridian Plumbing. Their quick response and thorough, efficient work is very much appreciated. My garbage disposal went out this week and Alan came out to assess our situation and offered us options with quotes for an immediate replacement. He then installed the new disposal and thoroughly tested everything in very little time. He gave me clear instructions on how to register the product, use it and what do in the event it jams for whatever reason. He also explained all warranty information and how to get warranty service if needed. Very friendly and accommodating. Meridian Plumbing has also done other jobs for us in the past including installation of a new water softener a little over a year ago. Again, fast response, thoroughly-done work and fair pricing. I highly recommend Meridian Plumbing!

    Dan came to us after a flood in our crawl space. We were on a tight timeline had been without water for a few days. While he could have fixed the problem, that wasnt the best long-term solution and he recommended all of our old water lines be replaced, and we agreed. Dan was extremely personable and understood our tight timeline. I consider myself a good judge of character and Dan struck me as a person with authenticity and credibility. We had zero issues with giving him our garage code so he could make the needed replacement while we were out of town. I feel he went WAY above and beyond to get us squared away. The quality of his and his crews work was above average and extremely clean. If you are in need of a plumber, look no further!     Polybutylene, a thermoplastic polymer used in water pipes popular in the 1990s. Manufacturing was discontinued in 1995 due to numerous leakage problems. That is what was plumbed in my house. Two inspectors noted I should replace it. The question of problems occuring is not why, but when. Better sooner rather than later as prices continue to go up and chancing with fate of a leak that insurance will not cover (check your insurance policies for water damage coverage details). I called around for quotes and Meridian Plumbing was a good price, but they also guarantee everything, make sure it is properly inspected and meet all codes. Other companies were noting one thing after another of everything that was needed on a 30 year old house and yard. Tripp from Meridian Plumbing came over and provided more thoughtful information on what the other companies were trying to sell. I didnt need to replace everything in the house AND yard. He did not try to sell me but provided me with the information I needed for a functional house and what to consider. He and his Luigi came in the next week while we were gone and replaced all the polybutylene pipes and took care of city permits, Rehau A PEX fittings at every location, new emergency shut off valves at every fixture, new frost free hose bibs, new bathroom Moen valves and trim, metal braided hose lines, plumbed for a soft water system, relocated the main line water shut off out of the crawl space and in a closer along with an electronic automatic Moen shutoff valve I can shut off anywhere in the world, 5 year parts and labor and 25 year manufacturers warranty. Tripp completed this in only 2 1/2 days. We came home and the house was clean and did not look like a construction zone. I had cameras throughout the house and garage and I saw no issues on the videos. Tripp was professional and fast. He knew what he was doing. Everything was up to code in the house, including plumbing for the water heater, which I thought was fine, but codes changed since I bought the house. I have no water worries now that the house is updated. Thanks Tripp and Meridian Plumbing.

    Dan C. responded to my call. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a faulty expansion tank on the water heater. In less than 30 minutes he replaced the expansion tank and the over-pressure valve on the side of the water heater. All is good with no more water leaking in the garage! Thank you!

    Dan replaced my 15 year old water heater. He explained what needed to be done and why and gave me my options for the new water heater. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Dan also contacted me to try to get my service completed even sooner but unfortunately I had a previous appointment so I couldn’t take advantage of the opening in his schedule.I have used Meridian Plumbing for over 20 years and highly recommend them for their service and efficiency.

    Dan Caruso is a client of mine, and I was explaining to him that I wanted a new shower head for Christmas for better water pressure for my thick hair. He said I dont need a new one at all.     We hired Meridian to install a complicated dog wash in our garage. It took some ingenuity by Dan to get it accomplished and now we have a beautiful running system. Also purchased and soft water system. Installation and customer service are top notch and work was done in a quick amount of time.

    We had an outstanding experience with Dan Caruso from Meridian Plumbing. Dan went above and beyond to help us replace a frozen shut-off gate valve to our house, as well as an old shut-off valve to our refrigerator. He also replaced another frozen and deteriorating shut-off valve and water pipe in our home. Dan was not only incredibly professional and skilled in his work, but he also brought a personal touch to his service—he gifted us delicious homemade salsa and spicy pickles that his wife made! In return, we were happy to share some cucumbers from our garden and dehydrated fruit from our trees.     Adrian came out on a Friday evening to assess my hot water heater situation and came out Saturday morning to replace it, all at no extra charge for an after-hours call.     Galen was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly and wasted no time replacing our water heater. We came home from church on Sunday to find our water heater leaking on to the garage floor. I was able to go to Meridian Plumbings website and upload a short video and some pics of our issue and Galen was out here first thing Monday morning with everything he needed to get our hot water back on by mid-morning.     We recently moved into an older home that was nice because if its size but not so nice because of how much work had to be done to it. The plumbing had obvious areas that needed attention, and we wanted filtered drinking water along with a water softener that we were used to at the previous house. Galen was our designated plumber and is such a professional. He came to our house a handful of times for all of our requests between the toilet issue, the washroom box replacement and thankfully for the major full day install of the carbon filter loop, water softener and finally the replacement of the water heater. Galen was very respectful of our home and our pets, and made the whole experience much better to get through. Meridian Plumbing is the top service provider in the area and Galen is a great human being on top of an awesome plumber! Highly recommend you give them a call no matter how big or small your need.

    Very pleased with the water softener installation from Meridian Plumbing. Dan came out discussed the installation process and provided a quote. I called Jennifer later that day to schedule an installation date and time. On the day of the appointment, Riley called and confirmed that they were coming. Riley does awesome work. Hes a true artist with pipe! He had a tight space to plumb and to fit in the water softener. The bypass he built, and the quality of his piping work is amazing.The city plumbing inspector even commented on the outstanding installation. He said that when he sees the Meridian Plumbing logo, he can begin filling out the passed inspection sticker as their work rarely fails inspection. I am very happy with the decision to go with Meridian Plumbing. Everyone I dealt with were friendly and professional. The process was smooth from start to finish and the final price I paid matched the quote I was given. I will recommend Meridian Plumbing to others, and they will be my first call when I have any future plumbing needs or issues.

    Top notch service!! Dan arrived early for our service call and immediately presented his card and a pen. The issue here was a clogged toilet in an old (1958) commercial building. Dan was very thorough and diligent in trying to determine where the backup was and in locating the cleanout. His persistence paid off and he got the line cleared. Dans professionalism and transparency throughout the call was excellent! I would highly recommend Meridian Plumbing and Dan in particular. Thank you for doing such a great job!!

    Dan came out to fix a failed 5 year old fitting from the main water supply from the street into the home located in a crawl space. The professionalism and knowledge demonstrated by Dan was top notch! I observed Dan complete the entire job and the level of of knowledge explained and demonstrated, equipment used, superior quality of parts used in comparison to the parts replaced and the attention to detail was again, top notch. I am very particular about my home in regards to its overall condition and how things are done and after meeting Dan and watching him work there is no doubt that as a resident who is planning to be in the Treasure Valley for many years to come I will only call Meridian Plumbing.

    We had a water leak under our sink. I called Meridian Plumbing and made an appointment to look at what was going on. A few days after our call Mafi, the plumber, called and said he could come over early if we were home. We said yes. Mafi came over and checked the leak. He said the hoses and faucet were leaking. Then he saw a box with a sink and faucet in it that we had bought at Costco last week. He said, do you want me to install that sink? Ill call my company and see if I have enough time to do it. Two hours later, we had a new sink, new faucet, and no leaks under the sink! Thank you Mafi. He was professional, friendly, knew what he was doing and willing to take the extra time to think of us.     We had an annoyingnleak in the kitchen sink basket. It wasnt a flowing leak bu mor of a seeping leak.I called Meridian Plumbing, left a mssage at about 7:00pm, and recived abcalln back early the next day. I explained the problem and thye lady said they couldhave someeone out in 1/2 an hour.Mafi & Joe showed up at 8:30, I showed them the issue and they went to work immediatley. They replaced the basket and all the PVC piping with new items, and made sure it was all wll sealed. They tested for any seeping, all was good.Both Mafi & Joe were very professional.I definitely would recommend Meriden Plumbing.

    I had Mafi & Brian from Meridian Plumbing out on Friday morning March 8, 2024 to provide an estimate to replace my Hot Water Heater. Mafi was energetic, knowledgeable and very personable. I told him I would be getting 2 other quotes that morning. He said that if I had made a decision by noon, that they would be able to replace the Hot Water Heater that afternoon. The Meridian Plumbing quote was more than competitive & Mafi’s upbeat & positive personality closed the deal. Mafi & Brian worked very well together & even with a couple of plumbing snafus they were able to provide an exceptional installation of the Hot Water Heater.     Riley recently installed a water softener and filtration system in our brand new home. He arrived on time and was so very pleasant! It had been snowing the night before and so crawling under our house in cold weather to hook up our full house system couldn’t have been much fun! The consultation was very informative and he was able to give us quotes for a few different systems/options during his visit. There was no sense of pressure and he answered any questions we had.After deciding exactly what we wanted, we called to schedule the installation. They were able to schedule us within three days, again!The day of installation, Dan showed up on time, worked efficiently, and explained the whole system after it was set-up.     I couldnt ask for a more thorough and HONEST company to work with. When I called them I was sure I needed a new hot water heater. But Dan wouldnt take my word for it. After investigation, all signs pointed to a crossover problem, which would require the replacement of one or more faucets in the home. Then came the surprise of all...the one they thought had the most chance of being the problem, was and wasnt the problem. Dan wanted to check one more thing. He found that our caregiver shut the water off at the hand-held shower head and did not shut the water off at the faucet. As soon as Dan shut off the water...voila, hot water. :-) All it cost was a very reasonable troubleshooting fee. :-) I will call again next time I need a plumber!

    Absolutely outstanding service and value. Wade and Anthony are among the most professional, efficient, and courteous people I have ever worked with. Their problem-solving skills helped them overcome numerous issues when I got my entire house re-piped. I just moved into a 90 year-old house that had a mix of rusted galvanized pipe (see picture), CPVC, and polybutylene, the latter two being known to have issues with being brittle. There were also a lot of things that werent up to code or just plain difficult to explain due to the house having been renovated many times. Wade and Anthony were super efficient while providing quality work. They re-piped the whole house, brought the water heater up to code, moved my main water valve to a more convenient location, replaced the laundry room valve/drain box, replaced a rusted tub fixture, and fixed several safety issues in less than 4 days. The price was also the best. I got two other bids and Meridian Plumbing beat the next best one by a lot. My family was thoroughly impressed and are grateful for their hard work.

    Michael Jordan came out to replace the faucet in our travel trailer. He was on time, very courteous, and when a question arose from the work Chris Gardner had done he called him to double check.The installation of the faucet went without a hitch. When Michael was finished he mentioned that the outer water inlet looked like it might cause us some trouble in the future.After Michael left I went to replace things under the sink and noticed a large puddle of water. I called the main office and they got ahold of Michael and said that he would return after he finished the other job he was on.While we were waiting I went to Camping World and got the new part.Michael arrived shortly after that and replaced the part.He also came up with a suggestion about using a Y connection on the inlet. That way I could drain the line and hose before I unhooked.     Tripp and Ramon came out and talked with us about the water softening system that Meridian Plumbing uses. They answered our questions about the differences between theirs and the ones available at Home Depot and Lowes as well as Culligans system. We agreed to theirs and Tripp came out a few days later and installed our new system. Meridian Plumbing has good staff and they sell a good water softener and carbon filtration. So far, we love it.     I was ready to replace my hot water heater with a Tankless and called for 4 companies to come out and give me a quote.  3 companies came back with estimates with a wide range of prices.  I chose Meridian Plumbing even though they were not the lowest, they could provide all of the work requested and they seemed very knowledgeable and I felt confident they could execute the job.   Dan and Connor came out to do the job the following week.  They were professional, knowledgeable and installed the tankless water heater and a filter system without any issues.  They laid out tarps to keep the house clean as they were working in the finished basement. The end result was clean and neat installation.  I was very pleased.   I would highly recommend Meridian Plumbing.

    Great company and very nice people, called in Monday for an estimate to add a flex gas line from crawlspace to the patio for a BBQ !!     Called Meridian Plumbing to have a bathroom fixture fixed and get cost for a few other things that needed done. Galen came out was able to come early and he looked at the bathroom fixture was able to tighten a loose something and stopped the drip.     Excellent service! Found them online, and scheduled an appointment on their website for the next day. Got a call from the office to verify appointment and plumber. Plumber called a few minutes before arrival. Allan arrived on time, was very professional and provided a cost for the job up front. A+ for communication and follow through.     I discovered a water leak at about 9:00 PM on Thursday night. I called Meridian Plumbing the next morning at 7:45 AM. They had a plumber (Mafi was his name) out to my house by 9:45 AM.He called before arriving, and before entering my home he put shoe covers on (this is a big deal to me).There were two options for finding the exact source of the leak and he recommended the least expensive of the options. In the end, he was correct and he was able to replace the leaking section of pipe.I have no idea how Meridian Plumbing rates price-wise. Because of the size of their business I suspect they are comparable to other plumbers in the area. I expected to pay 2-3 times more based on what I thought they were going to have to do, so thats a plus in my book. Getting my water back on in a timely manner was more important to me than shopping around, trying to save a few dollars.I dont regret calling them and having them fix my issue. Mafi was professional, personable, and did a good job (i.e., fixed the leak, cleaned up after himself, etc.). Id use them again.

    John and Anthony were my techs who came to my house to install my water softener and filtration system combo. They arrived on time over the two days it took to install everything. Both these guys were very professional and very friendly! Anthony was the one who quotes me months ago but I had to hold off on the purchase for financial reasons. I called a few months after he had provided me with my quote which was actually for a number of things that started with getting a gas line plumbed so I could have a gas stove instead of the electric. I decided to request other quotes alongside since he was here. It was a very efficient and thorough experience. I got a couple other quotes which were nearly double what Anthony quoted so decided to go with Meridian Plumbing. Anthony had quoted me on a 3 step system but when they showed up for the job he gave me more information which actually ended up saving me money! There was a step in the system that was not necessary for my area so just got the 2 steps that were needed for my service area! I have had the system now for a few months and no issues!     Our experience with Galen and Meridian Plumbing was phenomenal. Galen came to our home to quote our two-story, entire house re-pipe necessitated by our 26-year-old polybutylene pipes. We had a small leak, which we were able to fix ourselves, but discovered that the polybutylene pipes were a much bigger problem waiting to happen. Before quoting the job, Galen explained the process, including the fact that they would have to remove a substantial amount of drywall, but would do so in a way that allowed for easy repair of the drywall once they were done. He provided the quote, which was exactly what we paid, before leaving our property. We were able to schedule the job in a fairly short time-frame. The work was started on time, was professionally completed, and the clean-up was more than just an afterthought.Our project is covered by a five-year parts and labor warranty through Meridian Plumbing, as well as a 25-year warranty by the manufacturer. This is five times the warranty quote by another plumbing company for the same job.We would like to thank Galen and Meridian Plumbing for the great service on our project, their business ethics and professionalism.     As far as bang for the buck, it depends on what you are having done... That being said, I am always happy to pay what they asked or quoted. The office answers, or gets back to you immediately. Customer service on both of the office side and the technician side has always been really good for me. Polite knowledgeable skilled plumbers is what youll get along with the before mentioned service. Your technician/plumber will usually be a little early, but to me thats better than late. They dont have to run and get parts hardly ever. The rugs are well stocked. They are mindful of your home, and floors.     Riley was very honest and professional when he came out to give us a quote for the water softener.     We called Meridian Plumbing because our pilot light was out on our water heater. Prior to calling, i had tried to diagnose and fix the problem myself. Unfortunately, it was not the typical issue of replacing the thermocouple. When i called Meridian Plumbing to get someone out to look at our water heater, Sara (spelling?) was super helpful and was very transparent about what to expect and when to expect the plumber to get to our house. Dan Caruso was the plumber who showed up. Dan Caruso is a superstar! He was friendly and informative and very knowledgeable. Mind you, i had called on a Friday night and he was to our house first thing Saturday morning. Even after another plumbing call. Meridian Plumbing did not charge us an after hours fee and were completely upfront about what might happen when the plumber showed up. Long story short, Dan gave me all the options we had to get our water heater back in action and we chose to have him replace it with a whole new system. He was an absolute professional throughout the entire process. He even took the time to fix a running toilet that was in Moms room. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.     At 7:15 a.m., we found a flood in the garage from a water heater. We called Meridian Plumbing right away and, to our relief, heard that a repair technician could be at our house between 10 a.m.-noon. Dan called at 9:30 a.m. to let me know he was on the way and at 10:01 was working on the water heater. Dan explained to me thoroughly what was wrong with our water heater system, which of the 2 tanks was dead, and cost to repair and replace. Because the 2 tank system was installed and maintained by Meridian Plumbing but were no longer under warranty, Dan got approval to charge just for the repairs, not replacing the 7 -year old tank. Friendly, focused, and respectful, Dan did the repairs in short order and explained what a longer-term solution to create efficiency would be and cost. 100% satisfied.

    DAN WAS GREAT! I like to take a HOT bath, much to my surprise, my bathtub temperature went straight to ice cold after about 5 minutes of running…that obviously won’t work for me.     First I would like to say everyone at Meridian plumbing has been very polite and helpful.I had a leak in my main water line. Dan came out and confirmed I should have it replaced. He took care of all the utilities being marked and the inspection done afterwards. He brought the shut off valve to a different place making it easily accessible. I can now reach it. That was a big help. The main line is in, the hole was filled today and looks good. They even put the bricks back where they were before they started digging. They also pounded the dirt down where another company tried to work on the line.I have a mid-century home and the pipes are old. I am having the pipes replaced. Several other companies will be involved and Dan was able to get the work coordinated for a smooth process. Dan has explained all that needs to be done and kept me in the loop as to the progress of the project.     My grandmothers water bill was higher than usual so she reached out to City of Meridian and found out that we had an issue with our valve at the sprinkler and drain. Dan came out an explained the situation very well and showed us where the issue was at. He was very responsive and rearranged his schedule so that my grandmothers sprinklers wouldnt be turned off and she wouldnt have to pull hose at 86 years young. Our house is 22 years old, and the water heater we had was the one the house came with. It had reach end of life a long time ago, and it wasnt even up to code with the changes that have taken place in regards to code specs over that last 20+ years... It was leaking, and it would have cost almost as much to fix it to bring it up to code as it was to just replace the whole thing. So, we decided to have it replaced with a new, state-of-the-art unit that will actually save us money on our utility bills because its so much more energy efficient. As usual, Meridian Plumbing delivered terrific service at a very reasonable price and they were able to get Dan out to our house within less than an hour of my calling them. Thanks guys, and thanks Dan! He explained everything, educated us, and even made some recommendations for additional upgrades we may want to consider that will help extend the life of our other appliances.

    Recently I needed a plumber for the second time since buying my home and Meridian Plumbing has been wonderful on both occasions. Amanda was super helpful and understanding about the urgent need I had and also the unpredictability of my part getting shipped and arriving on time. The plumber, Shane, was flexible and called to check if the part had been delivered even after I rescheduled due a delay in shipping. When the part arrived later in the afternoon he accommodated the change in schedule and I am so happy to report we have hot water thanks to this wonderful company. Accolades and a 5+ star rating!
