Plumbing solutions did a fantastic job replacing the old polybutylene pipes under my home and installed a main line from the meter to the house. They even replaced the older outside hose bibs, see photo.They did the work in 3 days but we were never without water overnight. The price was competitive and reasonable. The crew was knowledgeable, competent, friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t ask for a better team than Mike S, John G, and John M. (Hope I didn’t miss someone) The work performed was exactly as described by Gage. Thanks for a job well done.

Tom Scott, was wonderful. He was efficient, pleasant and professional. He went out of his way to install a softener system for us. He had to make multiple trips in order to get the right products and made sure the system was installed correctly and functioned correctly. He certainly deserves extra credit for the extra effort he put in. We would definitely call him again.

Brandon was the only plumber who called back re a bid to remodel my bathroom. He came back to check another job, and repaired it on the spot. Very competent and respectful. I called Plumbing Solutions of Idaho Monday morning, September 23rd, for a technician to come and fix a clog in my guest bathroom sink. It was no more than 30 min when Rick Cornett arrived. He was of great help and wonderful to work with.He checked out some pipes in my crawl space in the basement. He took pictures of them and took the time to explain different procedures, paths, and the cost difference of the different plans that could be done to make the pipes safer. He later forwarded these plans to our phone for further study and review.I highly recommend Plumbing Solutions of Idaho for all your plumbing needs. Over the weekend I received a call from our Tenant that the hot water heater was flooding the garage. We made the decision to replace it and within hours, Plumbing Solution/Tom Scott located a company that had what he needed and had changed it out with a new high efficiency tank! Mind you, this is over the weekend when most plumbing supply companies are closed, but he found a one in Nampa that was open until noon. He went above and beyond to get us taken care of!! When unexpected issues came up, which expanded the original scope of work, they didn’t hesitate to resolve those issues and then move on with the original project. During the project, which took multiple days, they were accommodating and thoughtful when they needed to shut off the water supply to perform the work. They were very professional and polite. Plumbing Solutions will be doing a re pipe in my house. The 2 men they sent out prior to beginning work were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. It is a major project and they truly inspired confidence that things will turn out well.This is an update. Our house has been re piped. We could not be happier with the results. We had a team of 4 from Plumbing Solutions doing the work, Mike, Phillip, Rich, and Coby. They were all professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They completed the re pipe in the planned time frame. In addition to doing that work, they also corrected problems they encountered in the process.Phillip coordinated with Brian Fletcher construction to repair, retexture, and repaint the drywall removed during the re pipe. Brian made sure that my house was protected from the dust and mess of the drywall repairs. Brian also replaced an existing bathtub with a beautiful tile shower. I am a picky person and all of the details that needed to be addressed were taken care of (thank you Mike and Phillip).11/13/2024Plumbing Solutions just replaced a new toilet that had a manufacturing defect. Alex did the work and despite numerous issues outside his control, he got it done. He did a great job and remained calm and professional throughout the process. Greg with Plumbing solutions was responsive, got the job done is a timely manner, and did a good job adapting to the job requirements on site. My gas water heater started failing and is shoved in a tiny cabinet space. It also was not properly panned and the water pressure relief valve overflowed water straight down under the house into the crawl space. Greg identified and replaced all these issues with proper alternatives to code and updated the gas pipes to ensure no leaks. It’s nice to have a new gas water heater doing its job with a pressure tank above and less headaches down the road on this appliance.

They are truly always there when you need them (24/7).Colton did a great job for us, especially working out in the summer heat. Even when our neighbor came over complaining about his water being off and having to shower because he had a dinner to go to, our technician kept it professional and polite and said he would try and hurry since we have a shared well. Update July 2023: we needed basically a total drain pipe replacement, which meant cutting concrete in the basement plus drywall work. We worked with Rick this time, and had a great experience. Everything was finished within a week and the subcontractors were priced similarly to the separate quotes we got. Plumbing work is no fun, but this was really the most painless fix and Id still totally recommend Rick and plumbing solutions.2021 Post: We have a 1950s house with original plumbing. Jerry gave us multiple quotes and options, and also referred us to a restoration company for a wall that had gotten wet. He answered additional questions on the repair process before I accepted a quote. Jerry and Derek repaired the washer line, redid the piping under the sink, and cut into the wall to replace the sink drain pipe. In the process some other issues came to light (clogged main, leaky faucet hose, broken sink water turn-off valve) that took some troubleshooting and extra time. I feel they did a great job figuring out what was wrong, communicating to me what was happening, and then checking that everything was working before leaving. The job took longer than expected but they made sure to do thorough work, and only charged extra for the clogged main which was a pretty big mess. They also cleaned some junk out of the pipes and tried to make the replaced pipe in the basement look as good as possible. I would recommend this company.

UPDATE: Shout out to Colton Jamison! Yet another plumbing peril of the 80s build handled before disaster by the prompt and affordable Plumbing Solutions of Idaho. Our water heater was 26 years old and running decently, until it began sending burning hot water out the tap (135°F). Colton diagnosed the problem and showed us our options ranging from repair to replacement, helping us understand the costs and benefits associated with each option. Colton answered all our questions, even the ones from my 2 and 3 year old (What is that hole? Its a crawlspace. Why are you going in there? To make a drain for your water heater But how will you see? With my headlamp. and so on...). He replaced our water heater and even mopped our floors as cleanup, which in a house with a 2 and 3 year old, the footprints are not what provoke furious mopping. I keep these guys in my contacts because after several dealings from full pipe replacement to a water heater replacement, theyve promptly delivered top notch work with excellent customer service.UPDATE: This company is top notch. Theyve provided great service and care after my pipes corroded through (I called them after seeing corroded, leaky pipes) and they replaced them quickly, correctly and inexpensively. They helped me search for a leak (not caused by their work) as well, and didnt even charge me. Problems solved time after time with my old, problematic home effortlessly and affordably. Shout out to Gage for rocking both these situations! This company is full of helpful technicians and pleasant humans. Thanks for the help yet again!I highly recommend this company!SPECIFICS: I called this company at the end of business Monday and had a technician out 10 AM Tuesday. Skigh was scheduled for noon but finished early on the previous site. He was professional and respectful. (I have a newborn and he did not play loud music or unnecessary noise.) His work was excellent and there was no slacking at all! He expertly replaced my valves to my faucet supply lines. He even asked if I planned on putting in a separate RO under the sink water filter (which I am later this week), and he made sure the cold valve had two separate outputs! Greg P did an amazing job replacing a 24 year old under-mount sink in our kitchen. We bought the home seven years ago and the previous owner had reglazed the sink, but it very quickly started peeling and became an eyesore. We have had three other plumbing companies look at it and tell us it was too complicated to replace. Plumbing Solutions of Idaho had previously taken care of another plumbing issue in our home, and we had been impressed with their skill. We decided to get their opinion, although expecting the same answer as the other plumbing companies had given. Greg came and looked at it, and we were surprised when he said it could be done IF he could find a suitable replacement sink to fit the space. Greg did some extensive research and found a perfect replacement sink. Installation took part of two days, but the sink looks great in the space and we are thrilled each day when we look at it. Greg did say it was the hardest sink install he had ever done, and we are grateful that he was willing to tackle the job. He did a skillful job replacing our sink. Thanks, Greg!

But the insurance adjuster said my readings were not bad at all. I would like a receipt and a copy of the picture he took to show the insurance carrier one more time.. The insurance said they would take a look at it. I would really appreciate that picture and report as soon as possible. My kitchen sink was terribly backed up, no amount of drain cleaner was helping. This is the second time in two years this has happened and I got tired of dealing with it. At 9pm I sent the company a message requesting service for the next day, right at 8am I was contacted about it, and someone was out before 9am. Service tech Rick was extremely polite, respectful, and willing to share his knowledge about why kitchen sink back-ups like this happen and Im happy to have learned. The work took longer than he had expected due to the buildup in the pipes, but he was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and left no mess. My only concern is the with cost, it felt really high for the work being done but I appreciate the peace of mind knowing we have a warranty on the service and theyll take care of it if the pipes get backed up again. I just hope the majority of the cost goes to the tech because he did a fantastic job.

I called late afternoon on a Sunday with no hot water at my home and spoke with the oncall answering service. The oncall person texted me less than 8 minutes later and immediately after that the oncall answering service let me know he was on his way. As a woman I sometimes worry someone will tell me I need a bigger repair or replacement that I don’t need but Coltin explained why I needed a new hot water heater, showed me what he saw and explained why a repair wouldn’t work even before I could think to ask. He assisted with a payment plan, was professional and courteous, and worked hard and diligently into the night- 10 pm- so I could have hot water. So glad a friend recommended you all and I won’t hesitate to call with future needs and will also refer my friends to you. Thank you for coming out right away on a Sunday evening!!

Its been a tough week! (Problem1) Started last Monday when I called a plumber in response to a tenants call that the electric water heater was tripping the breaker.I called a plumber first to check out the HWT first, planning to bring in the electrician later to check the breaker. The guy who showed up enquired whether it had been wet at any point, he apparently had not investigated it for himself, because he missed a thumb sized hole in the main cast iron drain immediately above the basement HWT, so he cleaned the tank wiring up and said it should be good, and left. A couple of hours later, the tenants heard and felt a floor-shaking bang which turned out to be a contained explosion inside a junction box serving the HWT line. Apparently caused by the leak in the drain. Thats what can happen when a tradesman doesnt do his job right.I called Plumbing Solutions and asked for Matt who had done a very elegant repair on another house, saving me nearly $1000.Matt gave a 3 choice quote, and after agreeing on choice 2, a new HWT and bringing the visible plumbing to current code. 8 hours later, we seemed to be ready to go, once the electrician was done repairing the circuit.(Problem 2) Everything was working great....except.... The first shower flooded the basement when the sewer backed up...ON FRIDAY NIGHT!. THIS WAS A SURPRISE,. Clearly the flood was not connected to the earlier repairI called Plumbing Solutions again, got Matt, who happened to be on-call for the weekend and we scheduled for him to come out Saturday morning to check the drain to the sewer main. He arrived on time, ran his camera down the sewer main, finding a tree root ball at ~55 from the house, which left only about 5% of the drain open. Three hours later, the main was fully open to the street.To summarize, Matt is an expert at what he does. His analytical skills are excellent, his communication clear, and his tradecraft a work of art.

He diagnosed my internal faucet problem and repaired it quickly. This was not the easiest repair because the house is older. Everyone I dealt with at Plumbing Solutions was friendly and professional. Luckily they had an opening that day and sent a technician out within a couple of hours. The kitchen sink was stopped up. The technician explained what he thought the problem was and proceeded to fix it. I have to say it was quite expensive but the sink is now draining properly. I was definitely satisfied with the results but am still in a little shock over the expense.

I had an outdoor faucet that wouldnt shut off and the hose connected to it was leaking. Of course it was on a Sunday and I was scheduled to have landscaping work done the next day. I didnt know where my water shut off was, so my options were limited. Several companies said 24/7 but didnt answer, their inboxes were full, or they couldnt get out til later in the week.Plumbing Solutions of Idaho got someone out to me within about 30 min and Colton replaced the faucet bib, checked for damage, and located my water shut off valve in the crawl space. He was prompt, professional, personable, and courteous, and answered all my questions. The cost was higher than Id like but was what was quoted and weekend emergency plumbing situations have their own priority.For an unexpected event, it was resolved quickly and easily. Colton also installed the replacement bib/faucet in a way that makes it easier to connect my hose, which has been a big help.

We noticed that the water from our 12 year old hot water heater was not warming the water as usual, so we contacted Plumbing Solutions as we have done for many years for our plumbing support. The one receiving my phone request was very polite and helpful in arranging the appointment. The plumbing technician (Jerry) arrived at the scheduled time, and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and detailed in discussing the problem and options with our water heater. Jerry was thorough with providing information on all of the latest code requirements and best/quality components related to a current water heater installation. Due to the maximum average years for this water heater, we decided to go with a new replacement. Jerry was very efficient with getting the water heater and updated install components replaced that same afternoon. During old water heater removal, Jerry noticed and brought to my attention a small amount of water draining from one of the pipes feeding the water heater. He asked if we had been noticing any problems with a single handled faucet, like maybe the shower faucet. I said that we were experiencing concerns with a shower faucet, and random/periodic water from the shower head. Anyway, Jerry had the necessary part on his truck to help with the shower faucet as well. Jerry was very efficient and professional for the entire process, and we appreciate the years of great service and reliability of the Plumbing Solutions group.
