Ive used McHenry Plumbing for my AC/Furnace/water heater needs for years. Recently I had several plumbing issues needing attention. Johnny came over and took the time to show and explain what was needed and gave me some great suggestions as well. I called back a week later for something else and Johhny was able to come over that same day. Hes a total professional with a wealth of knowledge and I would recommend him to anyone! Honestly you do get your moneys worth with this company!

Im extremely happy with the quality and responsiveness of McHenry Plumbing, Inc. They sent out Jeremy Sheldon to do a diagnostic on a leaking shower. He called ahead of time to notify us that he was on his way. Once onsite, he was quick to figure out the issue and we got the shower unit back to normal in no time. Buying a house is hard. No matter the depth of the inspection, there is a chance that something will be missed. There was a clogged pipe in my plumbing. Out of three toilets, two were out of service, two bathtubs were clogged, and I had two leaks in the basement. I looked at reviews and selected McHenry Plumbing. David came out a few hours later. He figured out the problem pretty quickly, and explained what he needed to do to fix it. It was messy, but he took care of it. McHenry Plumbing has a happy and loyal customer!

They replaced our water heater in a timely and professional manner. The quote they gave on the phone was exactly what I ended up paying-no hidden fees. Very friendly and knowledgeable plumber (Butch). I couldnt believe how fast he removed the old one, replaced all the valves and brought them up to code and installed the new water heater. Would recommend and will definitely call again. They took an unpleasant situation (broken water heater) and made it right all at a reasonable cost.

Fantastic five star service! I recently moved into the area and when my water heater sprung a leak, I wasnt sure where to turn. I went with MPI because of their numerous shining reviews and close proximity to my home and Im glad I did. Big shout outs go to Dot who made setting up the appointments as easy as could be, to Tony who diagnosed the root cause of the issue and showed me exactly what it was so I could see for myself and know that he wasnt trying to pull a fast one just to make a sale, and to Johnny who installed the new water heater, was extremely knowledgeable and gave me numerous pointers on how to increase the longevity of the new heater, and was a pleasure to talk with while he was there. The estimate was also very fair and the final price was almost exact to it which was a pleasant surprise since I usually expect an estimate to be significantly lower than the actual price for any kind of repair. I highly recommend this company to anyone, but particularly those like myself who may not be too savvy when it comes to plumbing and heating. You have earned a return customer.

I dropped my recently deceased wife’s wedding band down the bath tub drain, in a panic I call Mchenry plumbing, the compassion and concern they showed to me was amazing . They had someone to my house at 7:30 the next morning to retrieve the ring . The plumber they sent could of not been nicer. I have used Mchenry plumbing in the past and they always did a great job and after the unbelievable service I received today I will never even think about calling anyone else in the future. Thank you again Mchenry plumbing for making a hard time easier and getting my wife’s ring back to me

I am new to Wonder Lake, just moved into a fixer upper, found early today a leak in the crawl space. I looked in the yellow pages called one plumber and they acted like they couldnt be bothered. I then called McHenry Plumbing, talked with Elizabeth and she was so pleasant and nice, hooked me right up with a plumber, Butch who was here within the half hour as told by Elizabeth. Took his time explained things about the different systems that I have, which I knew nothing about, fixed the leak and not only did they make me feel like an equal (some professionals make you feel like you have two heads when they explain things to you) and am thankful I now have a decent plumbing company I can count on.

I thought I could handle a new kitchen faucet installation by myself today; but .... I was in over my head. The maze of pvc waste pipe combined with the strange chopped up weave of 3/8 copper lines; and rusted old shut-off valves was too much for me. Talked with super Dot and she had a man over in 1 hours time. Butch was fantastic. He has done hundreds of kitchen fixture installations in his long service as a senior journeyman plumber and he knew exactly what had to be done. He was very friendly and outgoing; and very knowledgeable and walked me through the faucet removal, new shut-off valves, and the new faucet work process.Job well done. A very happy customer and will not hesitate to call again on any future plumbing or heating issues. Thank you .

As luck would have it, last Saturday, we woke up to no hot water. I Googled Water Heater repairs and Mchenry was at the top of the list. The lady on the phone was super nice and had their technician, Butch, at the house within an hour. He is great and explained that investing $$$ in a 12 year old water heated is NOT the best idea. Hes a great guy and had a 75 gal replacement installed first thing Monday morning. A little expensive ($2550 installed), but EXCELLENT service which is why Very Good vs. Excellent... Runs great, thanks!

These days it is hard to find good customer service. But this is not the case with Mchenry Plumbing. The girl in the office (sorry I forgot her name) was very nice and super friendly and Butch the gentleman that came was also very nice and super friendly and fixed my problem in 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by their awesome customer service. I will definitely be calling them again in the future when needed.

Excellent service and excellent installer(Butch) this is the second time I have used McHenry Plumbing and in this case it was to replace the sump pump. I will also add the office staff as well are nice and responsive, excellent service for the money!

Jeremy was great, very professional and informative! He replaced our water heater and gave us a quote on a new furnace and a AC unit . We decided to go for it and to be installed in 3 days on Friday!Now thats service!!!!

Butch was great. He was referred by mike at Mchenry heating and air (same company). I have had a sink repaired and a ventilation system installed between the two branches of the company and I’m very happy with both. I have been playing contractor and the least I can say is it’s been a night mare and the guys at Mchenry heating and air and Mchenry pluming have been life savers. Don’t try to pinch pennies, these guys aren’t expensive at all and they are worth every penny.

We had a frozen water pipe. They came out in about 30 min and isolated and repaired the leak ASAP. Who could ask for more? A very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
