I had a furnace outage on a Friday and called 5 different places, Foster Kraus was the only one that took my emergency and they treated it like a weekday, not weekend/emergency pricing. Johnny A was my tech and he was training someone so I could hear him diagnose the situation. He was so thorough, found multiple issues and fixed what he could that day and returned to install a new heat exchanger by the following Tuesday and got the furnace working. He also took the time to find out that the part was still under warranty to save me money and their pricing for the service part was very fair. So thankful for Johnny and how quickly Foster helped me out.

We are Fosters Kraus customers for over a decade. Always satisfied. Had a glitch recently. AC wouldn’t turn on. Called office at 8am. Technician (Johnny) was here before 10am, opened the furnace door and within seconds declared “here’s the problem”. He fixed the issue in minutes and looked everything else over to make sure we are okay for summer. Consistently awesome service!

Bobby Gibbs is the star of the show at this company. Bobby and Tanner came to my house to zone our 2-story home. It was a difficult install due to lack of space, and to add further complications - I got a bad board. But you know what?? Bobby talked me through how to reboot my system on his OWN time at 9pm and came the very next morning with a new board in hand. It feels like a whole new house to NOT have the upstairs be 9 degrees higher than the main level. The temp is so much more equal. Thank you to every one at Kraus-Foster.

Wow. Had a no heat on a Monday before Christmas. Called first thing and they promised to get out within a day. TEN MINUTES later the technician called that they were on their way. Diagnosed the problem, ran and got the part, fixed it all in 2 hours. I googled the part replacement cost - they are priced about the same as Amazon for just the part. Coupla hundred to diagnose and put it in. Very, very fair. Great People. Hometown Service. Technician Shaina rocks. Super nice and helpful. Thanks Fosters.

My furnace started having issues during the holidays, the technicians sent were excellent. Jared and Shayna got the old furnace running so I had heat again. Shayna also talked to me about replacement as my furnace was 28 years old. She was so knowledgeable and helpful about options! I met with Denny for a quote and to discuss finances. He was very nice and explained different financing options making the whole purchase much less stressful. Denny had me scheduled for this Monday to have my furnace replaced, but when the weather forecast included sub zero temps and blizzard conditions this weekend - he got me on the schedule for the very next day to have the new furnace installed before the weather descended! Eric and Colton arrived Thursday and not only installed a brand new furnace but also cleared my driveway so they could get close enough to unload the new furnace!! They went above and beyond to make sure I had heat before this blizzard!! From my first call with Tammy the friendliest caring dispatcher to my last visit from the professional installation guys Eric and Colton - I was so impressed with the caring professional prompt service I received! Absolute top notch HVAC. Our furnace failed during a sub zero temp week. Denny got out for an estimate and had a crew here to install a new Amana unit the next day. Installers were very courteous and professional. Tight install and swept up after. Answered all my questions and didnt mind my curiosity for the whole process.Good price and great work. Handled all the rebates with alliant and midamerican too, knocked off the rebate values up front for no hassle to me.

Marion, IA. Fantastic service, our furnace took a dump last February (new house to us but was built 20 yrs ago). I called and they came right out, took time to explain what was wrong and our options (most importantly got us heat again).Came out the next day to give us proposal on new Amana furnace (great warranty) and possibly a new AC. In the end there was no $$ benefit to buying both, they recommended waiting on the AC till it quit too.Great crew came to install the new furnace, the ROI was reasonable given this furnace is more efficient than the old one.Highlight of purchasing through Foster’s is if you call they move you to the top of the list. Came in handy this summer when the AC quit. I called, their tech was enroute to our home within 10 minutes - within 20 minutes of the call they determined the issue and within 30 minutes of the call Martin (service pro) had AC blasting cold air again! (We still haven’t replaced the AC - that’s a good dealer doesn’t sell you what you don’t need).Foster’s is fast, friendly, honest, and have met all our expectations.

We ran into two guys from this company at a gas station who went above and beyond to help me and my boyfriend while we were traveling from out of state. We just needed a jump but they took extra time to look at our battery, explain what could be wrong and how to properly care for it in the future and then waited for us while we fixed it so it could be jumped. The amount of care they gave to two strangers is above and beyond, I can only imagine how they treat their paying customers!

I had a new furnace installed in April of this year by Eric who did an outstanding job and was pleasant to work with. Unfortunately after a few days of install I started to have issues that were unrelated to the install itself. Foster’s was quick to send out a tech who tried to remedy the issue on two separate occasions, it was during the third visit that I was lucky enough to get Julie who was able to diagnose the issue. My pvc exhaust pipe had sagging which was causing an airlock. This was no easy task as my basement is finished and the PVC piping was not easily viewable or accessible. Julie was able to come up with a plan without having to cut large sections of my ceiling out and solve the issue. She stayed and waited for the furnace to do a full cycle and make sure that the issue was fully resolved before leaving. This was not my first encounter with Julie as she had been here years ago to work on my old furnace and did a wonderful job then as well. Just know that if you ever call Foster’s heating and cooling for service and you get Julie as your tech, it’s your lucky day!

When we needed service they are timely to respond and schedule an appointment. Sunday morning on Christmas Eve we discovered our furnace was not working, we called to leave a message and prepared to run space heaters for warmth. Within an hour or so, they called back and came over to check out the situation. We were so grateful for the owners quick response. He got it going temporarily and then set an appointment to replace the furnace. They also helped us to get a rebate so we got a new furnace for a fraction of the cost. Plumbing, heating or ordering parts, we will continue to use them.

Our furnace stopped heating. The technician came to my house quickly, figured out the problem and then provided me some temporary work arounds since it was still winter. The rep came to my house because my 27 year old furnace (which was installed by Fosters in 1994) was at the end of its life. He provided a recommendation, we accepted that approach, and the installers came out the next day to install the new furnace. They all were very professional, provided quick responses, and very reasonably priced. Not only did they do quality work, but they left that area cleaner than they left it. I highly recommend Fosters for all your heating and cooling needs.

I called Fosters yesterday and someone was able to get out here this morning and immediately diagnose the issue, called and found the replacement part and went to pick it up during the snow storm & was back within the hour to install. Kraus P&H replaced our furnace and central air system about three weeks ago They did a great job. I am really pleased with the Lennox equipment they installed. The system works very well, no problems so far. The two-person team that installed the equipment, Jackson and Tyler, were very professional and have a lot of experience. They worked quickly and brought everything required for the install. The installation took less than one day and they hauled all the old stuff away. I am pleased with Kraus service. When I call the office I always get a courteous response. Kraus installed our first system in 1995. I am an electrical engineer and I was impressed with the quality of that installation. Thats why I called Kraus for the second system. I am pleased to recommend Brian Kraus and his team.

I called on Memorial Day, when they were closed. They put me through to the technicianon call. He was a wealth of information. He was upfront and honest on how much everything was going to cost. He also asked plenty of clarifying questions ahead of time and even though we didnt end up having Foster service our air conditioner I felt they earned their 5 Stars for how honest they were. Really appreciate them telling me it was going to cost me more from them because they werent a Lennox dealer and would have to order all parts for more money and would take a few days. They easily could have hidden that information. Really appreciate their honesty and being upfeont.

One of the technicians called me back about 1/2 hrs later, and from my description, diagnosed the probable issue. I am very pleased with how the people at Foster treated me, from the first person I talked to on the phone to the service and salespeople... my furnace went out early New Years eve and they had someone over to look at it within 2 hours of my call, diagnosed the problem and offered a couple solutions. They scheduled the install first thing on their next business day which was Thursday, and they offered to leave space heaters for me to use in the interim. I will definitely recommend Foster to anyone needing furnace service!

Our ac went out late on a Friday night with thunderstorms moving into the area. Many people we called didnt even call back or declined to come at almost midnight with storms on the way.Fosters called right back. They seemed genuinely interested in our issue and the fact my husband needed an as hed just had surgery that afternoon. It took him no time at all to pinpoint the problem, we needed a new capacitor for the outside condenser unit. He had the part that would fit any model.He worked quickly, lot only by our interior light and flashlights. He also took the time to do a general check and clean service since hed have it all opened up anyway.I thought our bill was more than reasonable and much lower than I had feared for a new part. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family!

Excellent company. They are swamped with customers yet still are congenial and try to take care of your needs as soon as possible. Wes installed ducts and vents to replace those that were on a 3 seasons room destroyed from the derecho. It was difficult to coordinate the appointment with the builder, we had miscommunicated but they came through and got it done in an absolutely commendable way. Wes was first-rate. He was diligent in his work and was professional in allaying my concerns about completing the entire project in time. Much appreciated!

The guys started installing the new HVAC Thursday July 20th but were unable to finish. Not a big deal till they said (on Friday morning) they couldnt get back until the following Tuesday. So, I went to the office all mad and ready to argue. Mark stopped what he was doing and came over to the house right away. He got the new system going in a couple of hours. The 5 star is because of how he handled the issue. If he hadnt done that this would have been a 1 star review. Very well done Fosters you deserve the 5 star. I cant speak highly enough of how professionally you handled the issue. Good job guys.

Fosters was professional and polite about what was happening in our home and helped us quickly resolve what was wrong. We did not feel like we were getting anything pushed on us and they were able to explain what we might need and would want in detail. Wish there was a payment plan option but the warranties more than make up for paying for the service in full. We feel like we made the correct choice for us.
