I called Hanna Plumbing & Heating on Wednesday morning. By Friday afternoon my new Ruud water heater was installed. They were very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, were very friendly and patient. My service technician was very polite and informative as well as straightforward about what needed to be done and any additional cost. I am very pleased with my installation and will use them again in the future. Thank you!

Admin staff are great, really understanding and flexible. Plumbing staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They do not mind providing just some educational tips along the way. Very upfront with their pricing and while they arent the cheapest, I definitely dont worry about anything they fix after they are gone. My family and I will continue to use them within the projects we have!

Hanna Plumbing employees are cordial, very good at their job, and are quick and efficient. They managed to fix our water issues under the basement, brought in the cement truck to finish the job and cleaned up the mess. If you need any kind of plumbing done I would call them first. The lady that answers the phone is very knowledgeable and helpful

Great work by Hanna installing my shop radiant in-floor heat system. Let me start with Amy, she is the very best receptionist I have ever dealt with; polite, helpful, reliable, I could go on and on but if I had a business of my own I would try to hire her away from Hanna, a tru A-teamer. Jim Anger (45+ years of experience) quoted the system to me and was a great technical resource/expert. He explained my options and gave me a budgetary sizing estimate to help me decide what I could afford in my overall project cost during our initial phone conversation - refreshing!!!!!! Most contractors want to do the dance on pricing which makes it hard to consider project options. Matt and Adam installed the loop field on a hot summer day and worked hard to achieve the optimal floor coverage for even heat. Dustin installed the boiler and his attention to detail and pride in his work were exceptional. I plan to use Hanna again on a bath remodel and I have no doubt they will perform just as well. I have finally found a plumbing contractor i trust. The pricing was not cheap but it was fair and competitive for the work I had done.

Had some work done by Hanna (replaced toilet, added a laundry sink and replaced kitchen faucet) and they did great work. From the very beginning we were impressed. They came early to the scheduled estimate. They were professional, explained things as he was looking at what we wanted done and answered all of our questions. When it came to the actual work, again it was great. They had an opening, so they came a week early and got the job done that day. They were friendly and did a nice job of cleaning up after they were finished. I plan to use Hanna again for future plumbing needs.

My furnace went out this morning. I called Hanna and they worked with my schedule, were very prompt in arriving when they said, and their technician, Tucker, was very courteous, professional, efficient, and friendly. After observing Tucker and reading the responsiveness of the owners giving feedback to reviews, I conclude that this is a locally owned company that is very conscientious of the need to provide quality customer service. I highly recommend.

Hanna Plumbing was professional, knowledgeable, and a fair price. Other plumbers wanted $150 for the trip fee. Hannah charged a flat fee per hour and no trip fees. The day before Christmas eve Hannah came out and was able to get parts before closing for the holiday. The plumber saw my water heater had a 6 year warranty so he took care of billing the manufacturer for parts. The plumber also gave us a Christmas discount. If you want excellent service at a fair price from a professional, then Hanna is the best choice for the Cedar Rapids/Marion area. Thanks Hanna!

I had called Hanna earlier in the day to come out and give me an estimate, and they were able to have guys come out the same day and get it fixed. They charge hourly but the guys were very efficient and worked quickly. They do give free estimates too - I had called one other time and a lady said that they didn’t do that but another lady said they did and I ended up getting a free one.

Last night after normal operating hours I called HP&P after discovering my water heater had sprung a leak, Their on-call service tech contacted me back within 15 minutes of the original call and was able to walk me through temporarily disabling the water heater to get us by until the next day. He did this instead of having come out to do it himself, which effectively saved me $130+ /hr for after hours work. This certainly won our continued business.The next morning HP&P actually reached back out to me before I could contact them to check in on us and to follow-up and see if we needed the unit replaced, They gave me a two hour window in which one of their Techs would be available and their tech Rich contacted me and arrived within the specified window.While in my house Rich was extremely helpful and professional explaining all the ins & outs of the unit he was installing. The work was performed under the estimated time and the bill came out to be a few hundred dollars cheaper than what we were expecting. Based off this experience I would not hesitate to recommend or contact Hanna Plumbing & Heating to anyone or for future work.

I manage a hotel in the Cedar Rapids area and we used Hanna Heating & Plumbing after using Affordable Heating & Cooling and a few other companies. I can see there staff is knowledgeable, honest, and fair. The tech diagnosed the issue wrong and ran it by his manager, who was quick to come out and ended up costing my business thousands less than expected. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Walked into my basement last Thursday about 8PM to find water leaking out of a check valve above my sump pump pit. Water was slowly taking over my basement. I called Hanna and they sent Adam out within a half hour and he had the valve replaced in less than 45 minutes! Very professional experience from start to finish! Kudos to the customer service person and Adam for taking care of my problem and avoiding some major flood damage! I appreciate customer care like that and will be recommending Hanna Plumbing in the future!

We couldnt have asked for a better experience. We called Hanna after another company looked at our furnace and found nothing wrong despite it not functioning properly and emitting a strange smell. However, I wanted a second opinion and this second opinion literally saved our lives. We had carbon monoxide leaking into our home and the other company didnt catch that. Hanna did the diagnostic work and install.Every member of their staff we encountered was just fantastic. We will never do business with anyone else!

This company is awesome!!! one company came out to look at our heater and just glancing at it they said we needed to replace 5,000$ we called hanna to come do a cleaning for us it was done in record time with a smile on the face. there was some switch that was tripped on our heater 100.00 all said and done. great customer service as well!! will recommend

I am writing this review in order to acknowledge the service I received by Josh and Adam on October 22nd, 2015. Not only did they take their time to test and diagnose my furnace problem, they were fun to talk with, answered my questions, showed me how things work and explained it to me. I never got a feeling like I should leave them alone, and as a curious homeowner, I appreciated them going out of their way to make sure I understood how my furnace works. They have used a secure garage code to enter my home twice, and I have never hesitated, I trust them. The office staff has been pleasant, responsive and they do a good job of communicating to the field, and vice-versa. If you have always wanted a personal relationship with a plumber of HVAC company, you should call Hanna Plumbing and Heating.

Hanna plumbing was my second call I made when I was stuck between a rock and hard spot at 12:30am with not many options, I had a broken water line! The first place I called, tried to totally take advantage of my situation. I saw Hanna offered 24hr service, so I called. Within 30 mins a very professional plumber was on site. He charged me a fraction of what the other company was going to charge. Thank you Hanna Plumbing and Heating for getting me out of a jam and charging me a fair price!

What a difference a new furnace and air conditioner makes! Moved into a new house last year purchased on a short sale. Wonderful service and done in exactly the time they said it would take. Throughout the winter, didnt have to adjust the temperature one single time in the house and our 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 2800 square feet home had a $41 heating bill at the highest. Cant wait for summer! Service was excellent. Had complete trust and was not interested in doing it on the cheap...so worth every penny. Did we pay more than we could have? Sure...but Id rather pay once and have it done by people who know their stuff...than twice by the dude with his own truck who skimps on cheap materials and low cost no-name products. You get what you pay for.

He was courteous, fast, thorough and really complimentary of the last plumber (which I hardly ever hear from a sub-contractor about another contractor.) We had hanna plumbing come out to fix two leaks at the house. They were on time and professional. One of the leaks was a little more difficult to fix than we first thought so it was a little more expensive than I hoped, but they communicated well about it and let me know what was going on so I could undertand. Im happy with the service and glad I didnt try to fix it myself.
