    I cant day enough about Baker and Sons Plumbing and Storm Shelters! I was able to work with Melissa to pick out our shelter. She was super helpful and very responsive in her communication. She set up everything without much effort on my part. They scheduled a quick install (same day the shelter arrived to their facility). One of the owners, Rusty, and a super nice young man, Jason, arrived and installed our shelter. They put it exactly on the mark without issue. They cleaned and polished it up once it was installed and did so within about an hour.Overall we couldnt be happier with the entire process! There are a couple options in this area for storm shelters but I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market.Thanks again to your great staff!

    Storm Shelter installed in my garageā€”-Rusty and Robyn were very professional, and Shane kept me in contact and answered all questions. Baker and Sons out of Marion, Illinois send a picture of the person that is coming which is very helpful. I would recommend them especially for purchasing and installing a tornado shelter.

    Baker and Sonā€™s Plumbing in Marion did an amazing job replacing a sewer line for a house in Anna. They were very fast and flexible getting the job scheduled and completed ahead of schedule and at a reasonable price. Jessie Thompson was especially thorough and knowledgeable in explaining the work to be done and was extremely helpful in navigating a difficult situation between us and the buyer.     Austin went above and beyond when installing our tankless water heater for Baker & Sons. He and his excellent, courteous team arrived on time and got right to work. He addressed all our questions and concerns and, when they were through, made sure all the workspaces were tidy and clean.     Rusty was awesome! I spoke to him numerous times about a safe room. Rusty was very knowledgeable about their product and very patient with all my questions.     Jessie is amazing guy! Super informative and friendly and professional. Explained every detail I asked about. And stayed as long as it took for me to comprehend all the financial details and what the process entails of the septic tank and the many options the company offers ranging from a new tank to repairs... they also offer maintenance within their prices which i love because i dont know anything about septic tanks.I highly recommend this company they really care about their costumers like family.

    Clint was amazing! The entire process was so easy and fast it was astonishing. I called and left a message about my water heater. Received a callback within minutes and Clint was at my house on a Saturday within 20 minutes. They also got me on the schedule same day to install my new water heater. Alex came out and got right to work installing the water heater without leaving a mess. I canā€™t believe how seamless this process was especially living in somewhat of a rural area where it took months just to get a toilet installed that I purchased from Lowes. I would give more stars if I could. Highly recommend!

    I called Baker and Sons to have someone come and give me an estimate to fix my no freeze faucet.JP came and gave me an honest quote. I also spoke with him about replacing all of my water lines because they have the carcinogenic gray water line. We came to a very reasonable estimate and they did an absolutely awesome job. I live in a mobile home and when they were finished with the job I forgot to ask about heat tape on my water lines. JP came and looked and showed me how they did it a little different than what it was before. They do backup their work. That is a blessing these days. They get a 10-star review from me.Thank you to everyone there. They sent a picture of JP so I could see who was coming to do the job. I wish more businesses would do that. Safety on both ends.

    Emily was awesome! She was quick and thorough in assessing the septic situation we had at our vacation rental. He took pictures of the septic system and walked me through each step of the cleaning and repair of the lid, which was very helpful. The text notifications they send to let you know the technician is on the way are incredibly convenient.     We used Baker & Sons for the first time this weekend when we had a bathtub faucet that wouldnt stop running. I initially called a plumbing company that I had used in the past but no one returned my call, so I called Baker & Sons. I spoke to a representative and she was quick to get my message out. Shortly after that I got a text that Dane would be arriving soon, and then Dane called me as well to get information. When he arrived, he confirmed what I had expected, that the water heater would need to be moved in order to do the repair. I knew ours was on its last leg, so I opted to have him install a new water heater as well. He was knowledgeable about the packages, and warranty options, and we were able to make a choice that made the most sense for our family. The installation of the water heater and new faucet were done in by the end of the afternoon and we were able to shower that evening, which was great because it was a scorcher and 24 without water is rough in this kind of heat.I would recommend Baker & Sons and Im excited to find such a responsive company that I know I can rely on in the future.

    Called Baker and Sons to repair a leak in our water heater. In less than an hour we had a tech on his way to look at our problem. The tech arrived 40 minutes later and diagnosed our issues.     We were very lucky to receive same day service and we are very grateful. The woman I spoke to on the phone Kendra, was clear and communicated exactly what would happen if service could not be done on the same day.About an hour later, JP Taylor and Jesse arrived to examine the problem. They both were thorough and explained each step they would take to solve the toilets and showers backing-up. They were able to clear the clog in the sewer drain in a fashionable time. Bonus points for having great customer service, being friendly and saying hello to the farm of animals! We signed up for the membership and canā€™t wait to see them again.

    Had to get my parents 25+ year old water heater replaced this week and the folks over at Baker & Sons were so helpful and efficient in getting things taken care of. I appreciated Melissa answering my initial questions on the phone, and then Gaje went above and beyond in helping me be able to contact and discuss options with my parents who are currently overseas. Brian came this morning for the install, helped get the old water heater out of the house and even cleaned up the spot where it had been sitting for the past two and a half decades.     We had some problems with our basement toilet that we use quite a bit. Having 5 people in the house means multiple bathrooms are wonderful. Baker and Sonā€™s sent Clint to help diagnose our problem. We was very respectful, timely and knowledgeable, and when he wasnā€™t sure about something, he contacted someone who could help him get to the bottom of the problem. Lucas was the one assigned to actually work on our job and he did a great job as well. Again, he was very respectful and did excellent work. As they were fixing our one problem, as often happens when a person wants to do a job and do it well, there were other problems that really needed fixing. Clint talked us through this as well, and they got a larger crew to tackle this bigger problem. Yes, the repair work is pricey, BUT I know that itā€™s been done right and that makes it worth it to me. Thank you Clint, Lucas, and the other guys who worked on our issues. We are very thankful to have a 2nd working bathroom!

    Both of these young men did a terrific job including even cleaning up after their work. Brent provided great guidance that resulted in my purchasing a water filter for the whole house but were not pushy in any way. It was an l day job but an opportunity for me to take a mini retreat as they worked. I almost didnt know they were in the house. Brent was able to find me a new fawcet for a double sink bathroom that few would notice doesnt quite match the other. I would recommend them for any work they have done.     Andrew came out on a Sunday first off, which was great to support my relatives in town. He readily assessed the issue which turns out to not be great (broken sewer line). The fix isnā€™t simple or cheap. All options were explored prior to sitting down to discuss the best solution and pricing. The only ding is having to replace a toilet that couldnā€™t be uninstalled due to an issue with the nuts and some issues when raising that I have an insurance policy that may cover part of the work vs immediately signing. Canā€™t blame him for wanting to get the work signed off as a huge bonus was for the time he spent both days working. Outside of that, his professionalism was great and the quote for the work I find fair giving the job at hand.

    UPDATEDane Shannon spoke about our problems with coworkers and arrived to diagnose our toilet problem issues. After tests and further inspection he determined that the toilet itself was not in fact leaking. Rescheduled for another visit due to time constraints. Dane returned and reconfigured some plumbing/ pipes which completely fixed the leak we all heard. The water flows like it should now thus no more dripping noises. We would recommend Dane to anybody that wants the job done right. A personal note of thanks to Dane.Dane Shannon made another house call with us this morning. We were glad that Mr Shannon arrived as his work and demeanor has always been excellent. He quickly assessed and fixed our garbage disposal. We sprung on him an additional problem with our toilet.     Gaje Baker came to our house today for an annual service. He introduced himself perfectly, prepared us, for what he was going to do, and then went ahead and did it all to our complete satisfaction. Five stars for him.Professional plumbing services have been provided to us for the last 2 1/2 years by Baker and Sons. Today we had our sewer drain cleared by Dane Shannon who did a wonderful job. I called the company and within an hour Dane arrived and within a further 45 minutes out drains were cleared and the tree root system growing inside our sewer system was completed. Dean is a very experienced plumber and knowledgeable about new technologies that are making plumbing, more efficient and long lasting. He approaches his job with a high degree of professionalism and has a positive personality that is easy for the customer to engage with.

    I care for my elderly mom. Who worries and stresses regardless of the issue. With that being said our outside facet had a major leak. Once again Baker and Sons was here on the same day I called. I was also very happy that Dane was the one who came out. He fixed it the way it was suppose to be fixed. Not only was he patient and extremely kind to my mom but as usual I received the same patience and kindness!! Hopefully I will not need their services for a while but if we do I will definitely request Dane. He explains things so well and knowing my mom if hard of hearing gets down to speak to her and she can hear and understand him! 5 stars isnt even enough for this kind and knowledgeable man!!!     My experience with Baker and Sons Plumbing has been excellent. They were quick to come to our service. They were at the house within a few hours after I called. Andrew Schaefer was very patient, kind and informative. He went the extra mile to ensure all issues were addressed and quickly came up with a plan to resolve them.     I called Baker & Sons regarding an issue I was having from a job that was done months ago. I was told that someone would be there that day, or the next day at the latest. That day I was visited by Dane Shannon who was very personable. He looked at the issue and explained what he was going to do to resolve the issue. He came back when he said that he would and he got right to work. Once he was finished, he explained everything to me. Dane even helped me with another issue that I was having by explaining it to me and he was extremely helpful! The customer service was top notch! They stood by their work. Will use again.

After we made our decision the work was scheduled and completed two days later Brian and Alex were also friendly, did a great job and answered all of my questions.     I honestly wasnt expecting service the same day I called. Baker & Sons Plumbing sent a plumber to my home as soon as they reasonably could, and it wasnt even an emergency. The staff members were friendly and professional. No hassle and no hidden prices or unexpected upcharges. I was happy enough to go ahead and purchase a membership plan for future front-of-the-line services and annual 120-point inspections.
