Big House recently fix our roof and did a wonderful job. This is a house built in 1945 with an older roofing construction. Big House had to add plywood to the roof to get it up to code. So the roof was much more effort to repair but they still completed it in one day. The project lead, Billy, did a great job getting the roof done and also addressing noise concerns from our neighbors. This is the second house that Randall did for me. I am very satisfied with the work on both houses and how great it is to work with him. I would recommend using Big House for any roof repairs you may need.

We were on the verge of our insurance company dropping us due to mold and algae on our roof. However, Isaac at Big House Construction saw something different. He saw potential hail and wind damage that others missed. Isaac guided us through the entire process, from the initial filing of the claim to meeting with the insurance adjuster. The adjuster agreed with Isaacs assessment, and our claim was approved in less than 24 hours!Within a few days, we had a new roof, gutters, and repairs for additional damage. The entire process was seamless and expedited. Despite having other jobs, Isaac ensured we felt comfortable and informed throughout. His communication and professionalism were exceptional.I highly recommend Big House Construction and Isaac Rincon. You will not regret it! We love our new roof and gutters. Now that we have found a name we can trust, we will use them again for additional projects and continue to refer family and friends.

Big House was replacing a neighbors roof so I walked over to ask about a leak repair. Robby used his drone to inspect the area I pointed out.While inspecting he noticed hail damage and we set about an insurance claim.Once approved, we were on the schedule about a week out. My house had a tree fall on my roof and cause extensive damages. I reached out to Big House construction and Matt came right out to help with all my needs. He got a tree company with a crane come out within hours to remove tree and then Matt’s guys tarped it up before rainfall the next day. He then referred me to a public adjuster to help me with my insurance claim. What a relief it was for me having Big House and the adjuster work together to get things done and completed. Our insurance claim also took awhile to settle and Matt was very patient and supportive throughout the whole process. He is very professional, organized and always answered all my questions on the construction process. Big House did everything from reframing and shingling roof, new hvac install/ cleaning ducts , removing old insulation and adding new insulation, painting, fixing damaged areas of exterior house, garage door install, chimney repair etc. Everyone on Big House team did an amazing job and that says a lot from me as I’m super critical. Communication was always immediate and quality of work far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be using them again for all future projects.

So, I recently took the plunge and bought a charming old home in Grant Park—you know, the kind with all the history and, unfortunately, the asbestos siding. My partner and I decided to tackle the asbestos situation head-on (because who wants to live in a historic house of horrors?), so we lined up a bunch of quotes from abatement companies and siding pros (these groups are rarely one and the same).Enter Big House Construction. They not only agreed to handle the siding work but also took charge of the entire abatement process, handling scheduling with the separate company during the summer storms to ensure it got done and my house wasn’t water logged. And let me tell you, they saved my sanity (and my wallet). The abatement company tried their best, but let’s just say they left a few “surprises” behind or out (our shutters went with the asbestos). Big House, with the superhero of siding Trey Allen at the helm, swooped in to save the day.Trey was on top of everything—communicating, fixing, managing, probably performing a few minor miracles. The man’s a saint. Thanks to him, my house is now safer and looking snazzy enough to make the neighbors jealous, brand-new shutters and all. Speaking of neighbors, the poor souls were sandwiched between two houses getting siding work done, and even they noticed Big House was quicker, more professional, and generally less of a headache.So if you’re in the market for a company that’ll turn your home improvement horror story into a fairy tale, Big House is your happily ever after.

Irecently had my roof replaced with Big House Construction. I had many other companies stopping wanting to do the job but it was not until Josh Argo from Big House Construction came. He actually went up on my roof, not with a drone, and showed me the damage and was so very knowledgeable, just had a good feeling so I went with them. Well I was right, Josh was there from start to finish, he dealt with my insurance company, the workers were there on date scheduled and took one day to complete. Josh came back to inspect the roof and my property and it was perfect.I would recommend Big House Construction to anyone.

He was always checking on my opinion and comments , like how to protect my HAMM radio equipment and the insuring all the roof debris etc. was picked up, making sure materials were staged correctly and we had a real dry day to complete the entire project. They started before sunrise and had a large crew immediately remove the old roof and layout and finish the new(see below). I can’t say enough good words for everyone but I love their way of doing business . PS These pictures ensured my Insurance company was happy and quick with progress payments. These people really know all the correct ways to get the most from your insurance provider.

Could not have had a better roofing experience! Im a first time homeowner and they were very patient to go over the entire process with me in our first meeting. They took the time to fully answer my questions and completely set my mind at ease with each decision. They even brought me all the different shingle types and colors so I could see, feel and choose the one I liked best. This was so much better than picking a color online and just praying it looks the same in person! Undoubtedly the best part was not having to deal with my insurance company. I normally do not write reviews, but this company deserves accolades for the work they did on my house. They replaced the roof, repaired and painted the exterior of my house and it looks fabulous!!! Randall had his public adjuster work with my insurance company, and replaced my roof within a few weeks. Akeem the project supervisor, a truly amazing and genuine guy, stayed in communication and kept me informed throughout the job from beginning to end. He sent me pictures, so I could see the progress and completion of the work that was done, as I currently live out of the state. I was in bad need of a new roof and just hadnt gotten around to it. Big House Construction was in my area, one of the guys (turned out to be a manager with BHC) Randall came to my door. Randall told me the process would be seamless and that I wouldnt have to do much (exactly what I needed). He was correct the process was easy. The guys came and got the job done in a day. I havent had any issues and my new roof has enhanced the looks of my house tremendously. Randall along with the rest of the guys I met from BHC were very professional and easy to work with.

If you’ve dealt with home owners insurance claims you know the MO with several of the insurance companies is to make it as difficult as possible to utilize what you pay for. Ethan and Big House were persistent in helping getting my roof replaced, didn’t take “no” for an answer. Their communication was on point, keeping me up to speed every step of the way. Roof looks great! They also left the yard as they found it, no mess, nails/debris etc. I even incidentally left a vehicle in the driveway right in the way, and they covered it well and saw to it that nothing hit or damaged the vehicle. I dealt with a few contractors prior to calling Big House and if I had to do it over, I’d called them first. Thank you Ethan and Big House for all your help!!

Josh Argo impressed us right off the bat because it was obvious that he was not trying to sell us something, but rather help us, because he let us know that after we were hit by a severe hailstorm we didnt actually need a new roof. But then dug into our insurance to see if even so, he might be able to leverage our insurance to get us a new roof as ours was a bit old… but again when he saw that insurance would only do so at great cost to us, he didnt press getting it! Dealing with someone like Josh really gave us a lot of peace of mind, and so we couldnt recommend him more highly!

Big House Construction, (Brian) and his crew were fixing the roof of my neighbor one day. Id happen to come outside w/ my dog that day and he was nice, polite and courteous. I told him my situation about previously trying to get a roof replacement approved. He said hed be happy to take a look at my roof and said I had grounds for a full replacement. It wasnt an easy process by no means, but he definitely stuck through it and managed to get that approval. I was beyond elated!!!The day of, Alberto and the crew arrived on time. They finished so much earlier than anticipated. I didnt see Brian that day but he did let me know he was tied up and did apologize. Big House Construction did a great job on replacing my roof after a January 2023 storm damage. Randall Ruiz managed all of the initial contact with my insurance company. He met with the insurance appraiser and called my claims agent. It was so easy from my end. I recently had my roof redone with Big House Construction! I had a seamless transaction from start to finish with Randall Ruiz and his team! Randall came and met me on a Monday to look at my roof and help place the claim that day due to obvious damages that he saw after his inspection Tuesday my insurance company contacted both Randall and I had an appointment scheduled for Thursday to review the damages together. Thursday after less than 10 minutes on the roof they came down and my roof was basically approved on the spot by insurance and then check was mailed the following Wednesday and roof completed in 1 day on Friday! I cannot express how happy I am with Big House Construction. They go ABOVE and BEYOND for their customers. Brian walk me through all of the steps. I was extremely nervous. As a first time homebuyer he made sure to answer all my questions. I had hundreds of questions. He was patient, prompt, very detailed, and never gave me the feeling that I was going on a wild goose chase. His attention to detail, and not a pushy salesman made me want to contract Big House Construction to do all of my future home repairs. I highly recommend them for any job, if it’s something that they don’t do I trust that they will give me a recommendation of a reputable company to assist. Again, I would 1000 stars. You can’t find companies like this anymore. They are fantastic. Nobody wants to have home repairs needed, but if you need them Big House Construction is who you need to call. They are licensed, insured and work well with insurance company. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Big House Construction replaced my roof in February 2023.I can’t say enough about Randall Ruiz (Project Manager). Randall is professional, courteous, has great communication skills, and is a great project manager. Randall provided awesome service from beginning to end. I appreciate that!I highly recommend BHC for roofing or any other renovation/construction needs!

Chase was awesome to work with. He helped me with communication with my insurance company and we got our roof replaced extremely quickly. The crew that did the replacement was very efficient and did a great job and left the yard spotless. I would definitely work with Chase again!

Hi - Just want to give a shout out to Big House Construction on the new roof they installed. Particularly, Isaac who was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. Im very happy and satisfied on the professional job they did. From the very start, Isaac filled me in on the process and steps. From filing the initial insurance claim to having my new roof installed took only 1 week, which was amazing. The crew ripped off the old roof and installed the new roof within 1 day. I was informed every step of the way. All interactions were very professional, material used top notch, and all questions answered in a timely manner. I highly recommend Big House Construction and Isaac for the work they did.
