Geothermal install. We were convinced of the economic and environmental benefits of a geothermal heat pump, but we knew the success of the system would depend on the quality of the install. Twin Air were very professional and careful throughout the process. They were even able to install a new hot water heater powered by geothermal in the same space. We are pleased with how comfortable and quiet the new system is. I highly recommend them for residential geothermal hvac.

Great company, does great work.A technician came out to check our air conditioning and they were very friendly and professional as well as informative and transparent. Got our air blowing nice and cold and let us know exactly how everything was functioning. Very informative on what our options were going forward.The company was also easy to schedule with and they even sent a reminder and a photo of the technician coming to your house so you know exactly who to expect. My air-conditioning unit stopped working. I called and had a pleasant conversation with the office representative. I was given a same day appointment. The technician Patrick arrived on time and went to work immediately. Patricks experience showed when he diagnosed and repaired the faulty part in record time. From routine maintenance and upkeep to special projects we have had them so , the work it outstanding , their technicians and office staff are knowledgeable and friendly , and they take the time to explain everything as they go. Patrick is the consummate professional. He appeared ahead of the appointed hour. His manner was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. In merely a few minutes of examining my Rinnai tankless water heater, he restored the water and the heat for hot water. Within 15 minutes, he found the culprit: a tiny hole causing leakage. He will repair the hole next week. The charge was a reasonable amount.He then informed my husband and me that his company services heating and air conditioning, as well as plumbing services. I think I will sign up for an annual service contract with his company for heating and AC, as long as he personally performs the services.We really enjoyed his company and his high level of excellence in diagnosing the issue, restoring hot water, and informing us of his company’s other services.

We Have been using Twin Air for over 15 years. They have always been honest, on time, courteous and respectful. They have never tried to up sell me anything. When I asked about needing new unit years ago, they kept saying not this year until they could no longer get the refrigerant I needed for an ancient machine. Our old unit was 20 years old. If not for needing a hard to find refrigeratant it probably would still be working because of their maintenance. Thank you

I can only say I wish I found this company 5 weeks ago! I have geothermal HVAC and one of the units stopped working and another unit had a water leak. 5 weeks without AC in my upstairs bedrooms. 3 weeks with no AC on the main floor. The company I was using misdiagnosed everything!! There literally was no reason for this 5 week period with no AC. Someone recommended Twin Air thank God!! Jeremy came out and diagnosed everything and I had AC to my whole house in 3 days!! They are highly knowledgeable of geothermal and in the 12 years we have lived in this house all I can say is I wish I found them sooner!!

I have always found Jennifer to be so helpful with excellent recommendations on timing and things to consider for service, instead of just pushing for a checklist without thought into what might actually fit best for our unique needs.Patrick our technician is incredibly knowledgeable and responsive, and has a gift for explaining the more technical aspects of the trade for laypersons like us, which not only helps us learn more about our home but also helps inform our decisions. We recently had an unfortunate incident at our house and he came out to check into another issue, but was more than happy to offer his expertise and insight into how the incident may have affected our HVAC and things to be mindful of. Our decade old AC compressor in the front yard suddenly stopped working just as a DC heat wave swept in. We needed honest and reliable repair fast. Twin Air’s Patrick Joumas diagnosed our problem as a bad capacitor that he swiftly replaced on the spot. Problem solved. Charge was about $330, which included $130 to show up.Twin Air’s scheduling staff and Consumer Checkbook both deserve credit for their respective roles. This included tracking and posting Patrick’s location and arrival time, offering a direct means to dissuade a rival firm’s tech who showed up at the same time as Patrick despite my cancelling his services the night before after reading a slew of damning reviews on that company practices (ie, ‘immediately call his scheduling team’ and have them explain their communication failure to him). I am delighted to have found and a rational rating scheme that informs consumers absent marketing hype.

Its always a sinking feeling when the heating or AC stop working, but I am so grateful for a friends referral to Twin Air. They showed up the next day and were extremely polite, kept my home clean, and talked me through the issue. They also provided various options (and how long each option would give me on the existing system).There was no pressure on whether or not to fix or replace, they just provided a lot of information and gave me space to decide what I wanted to do. I also appreciated multiple quotes, and the pros & cons of each.We ended up getting an entirely new HVAC system (with steam humidifier). Its been whisper quiet, and made the home MUCH more comfortable in the ever-changing Virginia weather.Their pricing was very fair, and even offered up to 5 years 0% interest financing to help us weather the impact of an unexpected expense. All in all, they are great and well continue to use their services for bi-annual maintenance going forward.

Used Twin Air a couple of years ago to assess AC issue based on recommendation from a friend. I was impressed with their service at that time and called to schedule my Spring “check up” but the unit had another issue. Scheduling an appointment was easy and done in a reasonable time frame to meet my schedule. All staff were knowledgeable and professional. Pricing was fair and technicians (Tony and Kyle) were prompt, knowledgeable and courteous in the home. They explained the install in detail, gave troubleshooting advice and answered any questions that I had. I would recommend Twin Air for heating and AC services.

It was an easy repair and now Im not dying in the Virginia summer awfulness. So grateful for Matthews expertise and care. The total price was cheaper than I anticipated considering the amount of time he spent looking at my system and making sure everything checked out before calling the job completed. I signed up for the maintenance membership because I was so impressed with this companys timeliness and attention to detail. In order to be more accurate and fair, we wanted to have a full season with our new Lennox system installed by Twin Air before writing this review. We are happy to say our home has never been cooler, our family more comfortable and our electric bill as low. Our positive experience with Twin Air began after numerous proposals to replace a 25 year old system. We were impressed by Twin Air from the first visit, when Tollie looked at our system did a load calculation and was not ashamed to say he needed input from his sons before moving forward. This was no ordinary HVAC replacement as they had to tear out an existing boiler/chiller system with yards of copper pipe and not once did they complain about the crawl space. What impressed us the most was that this team led by Jeremy really loved what they do and took pride in their work. They truly valued the challenge of replacing this system and came up with a clean, efficient and cost effective replacement. They worked with us on all aspects of the job, our schedule and did not nickel and dime us when little issues came up. Their office staff was also awesome as they handled all of the rebates and warranty registration for us. If you’re looking for an HVAC company that is professional, honest, approachable and does a phenomenal job, Twin Air is the one for you. Were sure glad we did. Great job fellas. Thank you !

Twin Air is outstanding. They installed a new geothermal heating/cooling system, and were excellent from start to finish. When we initially got quotes for geothermal installations, Twin Air was one of the few companies that provided an honest quote that included everything necessary for the job. No hidden costs or surprises. They were honest, straightforward, and no pushy sales tactics.When we started working with Twin Air, construction was just starting on our new house and they used our floor plans to design a system optimized for our layout and square footage.They started work in the winter while the house was under construction and were forced to deal with very challenging weather conditions. They didn’t flinch, adapted to the elements, and marched forward without delay.I primarily interfaced with Jeremy throughout the process – his immense expertise, honesty, and steadfast demeaner helped make this a great experience all around. Tollie helped during the design phase and was great to work with, and Jen was an absolute pleasure to work with during the invoice/payment process.Additionally, every single technician who helped with this effort was a consummate professional, you can tell Twin Air takes pride in who they hire.The end result is amazing. The comfort level in the house is incredible. Every level and every room has a consistent temp, no hot/cold spots. The system literally makes zero noise, we can’t hear it at all.I’ve been recommending this company to family and friends, I can’t recommend them enough.
