I needed an electrician to install a garage space heater and Friday was the man for the job! He was prompt, thorough, and performed a professional installation that included running additional electrical lines from the basement circuit breaker panel to the garage on the other side of the home. He also installed three new outlets in the garage with dedicated breakers to power a treadmill and our garage door opener, which had previously shared power with lights/appliances inside the home and often exceeded power demand and tripped the breaker. Additionally, Rebecca was very helpful in ensuring scheduled appointment times were confirmed in advance and was flexible in rescheduling during the holidays. Thank you for the great work! Would definitely recommend and work again with this company.

Zachery executed 5 Star plumbing service in resolving any inspection preparations related to the sale of our house after 25 years. In addition to addressing and resolving the identified plumbing issues we called for he also addressed the issues an inspector would look at which could delay the sale of our house. Having gone through a recent home sale himself, he provided the insight to help us make rational repairs to water pressure regulator and shut off valve which had not been replaced in 25 years. Provided solutions to problems!. Customer service and demeanor were professional all the way and we were happy with Zachery and Beacon Home services. Joshua Sanchez Velasco came in and saved my home from a potential house fire and quite possibly my families lives after it was improperly installed by an unqualified contractor. Josh came in quickly and ripped out all the electrical and rewired everything restoring safety and peace of mind in my home. I am forever grateful for the work he has done and will absolutely use him and Beacon Home Services for any future electrical needs!

I had Chris Merino come out for an estimate and the eventual service work, and he absolutely transformed my workshop into EXACTLY what Ive been imagining for years. I had a dust collector requiring a 230v circuit, a paint booth requiring 115v, and the addition of multiple outlets for various tools and he created a streamlined, expertly-designed layout that was neater than ANY electrical work Ive ever seen.Chris was courteous, kept the work areas clean, and super professional and knowledgeable. Hands-down one of THE best technicians Ive had the pleasure of working with.

Outstanding experience with a top notch electrician named Friday. Who resolved a very complex electrical issue. The price was very fair and Beacon offers a really neat plan for maintenance what is extremely reasonable and pays for itself after one visit - check them out! I don’t know how I have missed them all of these years. But they are my new go to company for all plumbing and electrical work. Grateful to have found them. Shout out to Michelle who took care of me both times in setting up the two appointments at two different locations so effortlessly. Spent two days with Bryce and Will from Beacon - they were awesome. Bryce came to do a quote and start the work, and was joined by Will on Day #2. They diagnosed and fixed a number of our complicated electrical issues (one of which was a huge safety hazard caused by some contract work in our home), and took care to ensure the job was done right. Theyll be our familys go-to electricians from here on out.(Also, the ladies I spoke to on the phone, one of which was Christina, were absolutely wonderful and helpful in setting up the appointment and following up after work was done!)

I submitted a work request late Wednesday night and received a call first thing Thursday morning. They said they could provide service the same day. I was on a limited time frame and narrow availability window, but Rebecca kept me updated as the day went on. When a technician was dispatched and on his way, I received a text with the technician’s name, picture, and ETA. I appreciated this! Shout out to Friday who was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem in less than 30 minutes! Amazing work, kind customer service, great professionalism, and reasonable pricing!

I would give more stars if I could!! I CANNOT say enough about the EXEMPLARY service we received from Bryce, Tyler and Will !!! From the moment I met them a year ago (due to personal reasons we had to delay the start of the project) we had instant chemistry and I felt like they cared about us and not just the job. They were respectful, responsive and very knowledgeable!! They assembled and installed 3 rather complex (multiple layers of crystals) chandeliers, one of which was in a 21 foot high foyer. They devised a plan to safely and effectively remove a chandelier from this height that weighed close to 70 pounds!!! We feel honored and blessed to have had them work on this project. They were very conscientious and respectful of our home and they are just genuinely good people. Special shout out to the brothers Bryce and Tyler and how well they work together and lend their expertise to the work. Their work ethic and professionalism is EXEMPLARY!!! As the senior technician, it is evident that Will has done a great job training them while allowing them to take the lead and learn as their skill level permits. For us, there is NO other choice but the team of Bottiny/Edwards.

Beacons plumbing was only used for inspections - they missed minor issues like a cracked nut under a sink that was leaking. The electrical inspectors also managed to lose screws to the electrical plates and put sharp tipped screws in some places in as replacements”. The pictures are after the attempts to fix how poorly the surge protector was installed - before it stuck out far enough to get caught on the metal edges because it was so uneven with the wall it stuck out more than 1/4 in the laundry room.Edited: Electrical work was originally done by Chris and was poorly done, rushed, and not very professional on 9/16. I believe it was Dan, on 9/26, who noted the issues, tried to fix the surge protector sticking out, and generally clean up (even though he was only there for a general inspection). Dan’s the one that said the issues would be brought up in “weekly training” and to ask for a discount on future work. The issues weren’t addressed.The surge protector was put in so quickly it was both loose and blocked the panel from being fully screwed on (the electrical inspector tried his best to fix it, but even Dan admitted it was poorly done and shouldnt have been done that way, nor could the panel be screwed in). Chris drilled new holes through my hardwood cabinets, without ever asking permission to avoid removing the old halogen light strips, because it made it faster to just cut the wire and leave everything up - rather than doing things well and making everything look nice.Apparently this should have never happened, and my original complaint got lost (originally all attempts to report a complaint were ignored)This did finally get escalated and fixed as of 7/17. Unfortunately, Chris has a bit of a reputation for sometimes doing things a little too quickly (at the cost of doing a job well).It took some time to get escalated, and sending pictures via text as well, but they did send out Shawn who did an amazing job at fixing the damage done. He not only removed the old halogen bulbs but took the time to clean things up and even patched the extra set of holes in the cabinets. My panel was missing a few screws, but rather than just fix the surge protector by stabilizing it and unblocking loose the hole for the panel, he also made sure the panel was fully attached to the wall. I cannot give 5 full stars overall because of the original issues with Chris and cascading failures in resolving it.But if you have the opportunity to get Shawn - he takes pride in his work and does do 5-star work. Shawn took time and treated my house like his own.

Zach arrived right on time for our appointment, and ensured that he understood our situation before taking measurements and offering suggestions. He then created a proposal with six water heater options and sat down with us to answer any and all questions, to educate us, and to help us make the best choice for our needs. We highly recommend Zach from Beacon!!

We had a significant amount of electrical work done through beacon - heavy up on our panel box (which also had to be moved about 25 feet), outlets, a bathroom fan installation, etc. Our home is 85 years old, which made the job complex. Our technicians, Maurice and Devin, were FANTASTIC. When they delivered our quote, they were very thorough in explaining the work we needed and took the time to find out what our long term plans are. The new panel and wiring looks amazing - very professional and tidy, which is hard to come by. The county inspector even remarked that it was one of the best jobs he has seen. 10/10 would recommend Beacon to anyone and everyone. Ask for Maurice and Devin!

Really appreciated the care they took with my home and cleanup throughout the project.Then, David Leimer delivered another 2 days of awesome plumbing services. David was thoroughly professional and informative and walked me through all the items of concern that he discovered when doing a check of the house water pressure and the hot water heater expansion tank. My house, and especially the front hose bib replacement, gave David a real run for his money but he delivered on everything all the while taking great care of my property. David truly exceeded my expectations and delivered a first class homeowner plumbing repair experience.

Chris did an excellent job figuring out what was wrong when previous contractors renovations caused several outlets to stop working. He solved the mystery and fixed everything to 100%.Chris came back to put in some outlets that the contractor should have put In above a counter top. I expected that drywall would have to be damaged (i.e. holes that would have to be repaired later) to get the outlets installed. Chris did an amazing job putting in the outlets without leaving big holes as I expected would be needed! So grateful to have hired Chris for the job . Im keeping Beacon for all my electrical work ...and Ill request Chris next time too!

Two bathroom vanity lights and two overhead lights downstairs. He was friendly, communicative, and made sure to ask preferences on positioning and lighting options. Updating stars just due to how they responded to my review. Very solid business practice. I’ll give them another try sometime.—————-I requested an estimate to install a 220v plug for my EV. Beacon quoted over $2,000, stating they would need to cut multiple holes in my drywall (which they wouldn’t repair) and that it could take a day or two to get the parts—despite the dispatcher saying they had everything on hand. I took the day off, expecting it would be completed that day. The price seemed very high, so I got a second estimate. Another electrician completed the job the same day for $800, only cut one hole (which he also repaired), and didn’t try to upsell me on extras I didn’t need.

Caesar is an expert plumber who is also very personable and able to explain what needs to be done and why. He is very conscientious about doing a thorough job. Also scheduling is very easy. Amy worked around my schedule and was so pleasant and helpful. Adding on to what I already wrote for the plumber, Friday the electrician just spent the day at my house fixing electrical outlets, mounting under-cabinet lights, and creating recessed lighting in my finished basement and stairway. Friday did a fantastic job, and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you! I have been asked to review again. This was my third time having Caesar come out. I had an active leak, and while the technicians were fully booked, Amy monitored all day and called frequently to let me know the status. She was able to squeeze me in at 4:30, and Caesar was prepared to spend hours to fix the issue, but luckily he was able to resolve it quickly. Even my dogs love Caesar, and they are very choosy! ;-)

UPDATE (7/24/2024) Another great experience with Beacon Home Services. Today Nestor and Brian replaced my hot water heater. All went smoothly. The old water heater was removed with no issues, and the other one installed with no fuss, no muss. Nestor and Brian were professional and did a great job cleaning up after the job was completed. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing issues you may have.—————-I have been procrastinating regarding some plumbing work. Eventually, I knew I needed to move forward. I did so with Beacon Home Services. It was a shockingly pleasant experience. I spoke with Michelle to make the appointment. She was pleasant and patient while I explained what I needed. She worked to get me scheduled as quickly as my schedule permitted. In the day of the appointment she let me know when to expect the plumber. Nestor was the plumber. He arrived on time with a cheerful and informative attitude. I walked him through my projects. With each, he explained the problem and my options to address the issue. Nestor provided clear explanations with the various estimates, making suggestions for other improvements that could be incorporated with the required fixes, but being very clear in terms of required fixes vs suggested fixes. Once the work was done, Nestor walked me through the updates, making sure that my questions and concerns were addressed. Overall this was a 10 out of 10 experience for me. I am happy to share that all of my anxiety was completely unnecessarily! Thank you to Michelle and Nestor for your help! I will definitely continue to work with Beacon Home Services for additional plumbing work.

Jarrett determined what was needed, obtained the parts, and replaced the fan within 2 1/2 hours! He also installed an on/off switch which was missing from the original installation. I was very pleased each time and was so satisfied with their efforts ,the first time , I found additional work to be done today. The next time I need electrical services , they will be first on my list to call.Each time the work was performed in a friendly,, professional manner . The technicians arrived in a timely fashion and finished the work to my complete satisfaction.Initially work was performed by Nelson and today by Dony. Each individual represented Beacon very well. I would not hesitate to contact them again for any future work I may need performed.The whole process was handled very timely and completely . The technicians cleaned up at the end of the job and left my house completely free of any debree. Kev arrived as scheduled to provide estimates on two projects in my home--upgrading smoke/CO detectors and bringing the grounding work for my 21-year-old townhouse in line with current building codes. He provided clear estimates and talked me through the work, which helped me prioritize projects to work with my budget. Hes very professional, and the work on my top-priority project was done just a few days after the estimate!

This is my 2nd time using Beacon Home Services, and my 2nd 5 star review of them. Called on a Monday afternoon for a leaky water heater, expecting a fix later in the week. I was greeted by the same excellent tech I had the first time, Mack. By noon the day after my call, my problem was resolved with no further issues or anything left over. Only a follow up call from Michelle in their office who was very attentive the whole way. Again, fantastic, quick, and reasonably priced service which will see me return as a customer.

They got a tech (Johnathan) to my house just a couple hours later.He was able to replace the hot water heater the same day, which was a plus.The real positive: the work he did was very neat. When he left, he showed me the new equipment, answering all of our questions, and left a super clean work space.Would highly recommend.

From Amy who kept me apprised of the schedule to Nestor, the plumber, who carefully sawed an outdoor hose that became calcified to the spicket, my experience was superb. Nestor was punctual, honest, professional and highly skilled. While Nestor presented us with options to replace the spicket at 4 times the cost, he never pressured us or tried to upcharge us. While he was here, he recommended other items for our future consideration. This was our first time using Beacon and we will definitely do so sgain.

We had a problem that I thought was bigger than it was initially. Of course we found the problem on a Sunday. We found Beacon through Angis List and I figured they were probably better than a recommendation from Nextdoor which has not worked out for us in the past.The scheduling was slightly confusing but they were hyper communicative which I appreciated.The technician showed up closer to 5pm (when I figured out the leak was not from the wax seal but from the supply line I was less anxious) and he said it would take 90 min and we could do it then or the next day. We opted for the next day because I didn’t want him to get 7 minutes into the repair only to determine that it needed an exotic part and we would be without a working toilet til the next day.Happily that was not the case and Brian was done I think in less than half the time he quoted yesterday.It seems to be working properly. Fingers crossed but the work is warrantied for 90 days (you’re given 3 options of fixing the problem and we opted with the least expensive which still seemed farther north than we thought it was going to. They also insisted on taking photos of the hot water heater and testing our water pressure which…I mean I get it but we weren’t in a place where we could throw money at fancy add-ons.So it’s been about 30 hours and I to say I pressed the flush handle and heard a SNAP. I took the lid off the tank and the chain where it meets the flapper broke free. Ive fixed it but I have to say its not a great look spending almost $500 to replace some plastic parts and one of them breaks down the next day. I fixed it with a jump ring but I wanted to add this to the review.
