Let me tell you about these guys!!!!! Price--Phenomenal! Service--EXCELLENT! PERSONALITIES--TOP NOTCH! I recently discovered that my water heater needed replacing. The other people I called for service were up-charging me something awful. It was only when I contacted Air-Right after speaking with a Novec customer service person, when I received a doable quote, which was only just the beginning. They came to my home today, smiling and eager to do a great job. No attitudes, no condescending remarks made to me as a woman, willing to wear shoe covers and to provide coverage for my carpet. The topper? One of the guys solved a huge problem Id been having for YEARS with my sink water pressure, and he didnt charge extra for it--talk about out of the kindness of ones heart!!! I fell in love with all of them at one time (figuratively speaking of course!) They genuinely seemed like they actually love what they do, and that its not just a job for them. I have recently had Air-Right procure and install a new A/C - Furnace system for my house. Craig Carter, the estimator, was very knowledgeable about all the various products and systems. He provided suggestions for the type of systems as well as the system operations. A Heat pump system vs a regular A/C - Furnace system was discussed, there availability and all costs involved. Pricing was thousands of dollars below multiply competitors for the same systems. Naturally, I went with Air-Right. Installation for both the A/C and Furnace was accomplished in one day in a very professional manner. I am extremely satisfied with the resulting operations of the system and would advise friend and family to look no further then Air-Right for your A/C - Furnace needs.John F Martinez

I have to share a recent interaction my family had with Air-Right Design. My mom, who recently passed, had worked with Air-Right for many, many years for her plumbing needs and was always very happy with their service and technicians. All I have to say, they went above and beyond for her knowing she was a single elderly person. They were very kind. I was in town with other family this past week/weekend and we ran into some well/plumbing issues at her house. I called and they were super quick to come out, we thought we had the issues identified, but it ended up being something else, they came right back out an hour after theyd just left, diagnosed the problem and it was fixed within 90 minutes. I cannot recommend Air- Right enough! They are top notch to work with, very quick to respond and very reliable. You cannot go wrong with Air-Right!!

Sam and Mike did an outstanding job replacing an Expansion Tank and replacing exhaust PVC piping. They were on-time, well-organized, sensitive to social distancing, knowledgeable, and courteous. We first had them install a unit Humidifier and the technicians was awesome, we also purchased a 3 year Maintenance agreement at that time. The Tech clearly communicated and also fixed a wiring issue (at no charge) for our thermostat. We definitely recommend using them!This summer 2022 we had a system failure of our coil and chose to replace the entire HVAC system due to its age. They gave us several options and quickly installed the new system sending 5 technicians. I HIGHLY recommend this company, they have great people!

I have been using Air-Right to service and maintain my home’s HVAC equipment for several years now. Most recently we called in for an AC repair on our 18 year old air conditioner. When I called in to book an appointment, the people in the office were very pleasant and were able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Sam was the technician who came out. He quickly diagnosed the issue and offered us some fairly priced solutions upfront. We decided to have the AC repaired, and Sam worked efficiently and got our AC up and running. He was very neat and didn’t leave a big mess when he was done and now our AC is working great. We will definitely be calling Air-Right for any future AC or furnace repairs.

Air Right is great for HVAC maintenance agreements as well as emergency situations. They are super knowledgeable, always fair with their pricing and recommended solutions and ever-dependable. Ive had a maintenance agreement in place with them for 16 years and used their team to replace both of my builder-installed AC units and all experiences have been 5 star. As a plus, they are considerate of your home and wear booties over their shoes - you sure cant say that for all companies who work in your home. I am quick to refer Air Right to my friends and family!

Amazing service and experience to fix things right the first time. I have two heat-pump units - both had issues that other HVAC companies in the area couldnt resolve with my Lennox units. Air Rights team even worked directly with the manufacture on a design issue particular to my one unit. There isnt another HVAC company that I would use in Northern VA.

We have been relying on Air-Right Energy Design for at least 10 years and in two different homes for both electric and gas heating, AC, new duct work, whole house dehumidifier installation, plumbing, and electrical services. We had a new Lennox heating and air conditioning system put in by Air Right. There pricing was competitive and the installation was outstanding. I can not say enough about the positive experience we had working with them. Starting with the initial estimate to the installation everyone was great.They showed up when they said they would and came with 6 technicians and completed the installation in about 5 hours. My wife was amazed at how well they worked as a team to get the job completed. As far as the work they performed it is first rate. They are prompt in responding to communications. I would definitely recommend them.

When replacing our old Hvac system, we got 7 proposals from different companies. Air-Right differentiated itself from the competition in many ways. Their rep was the only one who took time to diagnose issues we had noticed in the house. The rep, Craig Carter, was wonderful to work with. He made an economical recommendation to solve the issue where all other companies/reps just were planning to sell me the new system.Not only did Craig Carter demonstrate Air-Right’s consultative approach, I could tell he genuinely wanted to find a solution for us and I could tell that he has a deep passion for his line of work. My wife followed reviews on Yelp to Air-Right Energy. Craig Carter came out and gave us a thorough review based on the issues we described. After an hour or so of looking in our crawl space, attics and rooms, Craig offered up multiple options (low, medium and high price ranges) that would help solve the issues we had. There was no charge for the time he spent and left it up to us on how we wanted to approach the work we wanted done, no pressure and all the information we could use to make an informed decision. That alone made it easy to cancel the other HVAC estimates I had planned. We ended up going back and forth through email with additional questions and requests with Craig, who was nothing short of great (I personally love the prompt email responses since I dont have access to a phone for personal calls during work hours, forcing me to work through email). Finally decided on the option we wanted, Craig was prompt with his crew on the install day and kept my wife in the loop throughout the day on progress and showing her the issues with the old system as it was removed. Suffice to say we love the new system and the re-worked ductwork and I plan to use Air-Right (Craig of course!) again in the future for a re-work of the system at my rental property as well.UPDATE - 2/2017We had the HVAC system in our house replaced several years ago (review above) purchased and installed by Air Right ENERGY. My mother purchased a new house last year down here in Manassas and this past month, I had the Air Right guys install a whole new LENNOX system in her house. Great product from LENNOX and the Air Right is just as top notch! Craig and the guys were just and pro-level as they were 3 years ago!

Craig was very knowledgeable and professional. On his first visit, he detailed out different options we can do to fix the issue, short term, long term, etc. He explained in layman terms and made it very easy for us to see why different options have different costs. It really helped us make an informative decision. On the day of the repair, he singlehandedly carried heavy equipment up and down staircase that was extremely heavy. He fixed the problem and our AC was up and running without any issue. He came promptly on time. He even made sure he cleaned up our floor of any foot prints that he may have accidently left on hardwood floor while carry these equipment. I definitely would use Air Right again. This is our second service with them and we are pleased with the result. I also would definitely put a request for Craig personally as I know I will be ensure of a bright smile, professionalism, and that the job will be done properly. Thanks Craig.

I asked how much the trip would cost and he said it wouldnt cost anything because they are under contract to service my meter. Called them out due to a burning smell coming from our vents. Mike was at my house in 20 minutes. Ended up replacing the blower motor, then instead of fixing the issue and leaving-Mike investigated the issue. He found I had 3 times more air leaving the vents than returning air circulating through the system and gave us an inexpensive solution to fix this. Our system works better, runs less, and doesnt cost near as much to use. We have all electric heat and in the winters past couldnt keep the house warmer than 65. After Mike helped us identify the issue, I can keep myself and my young kids warm all winter long.

This morning, I wrote up to a sweltering(81 degrees) house from a broken air conditioner. I did not have a clue on who to call or what to do about it. After the initial shock, I called NOVEC, my utility company emergency number and was told I would receive a call from a service company to assist me. So as I sat in my car with air condition on high. I received a call from Air-Right Energy Design rep, he explained he was on several visits in the NoVA area and what time to expect his arrival. Not only did he show up as stated, he FIXED it within 30 minutes of the visit and educated me on a/c unit and water heater. He restored my faith in contractors! I would use this company for first work on my home concerning HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues. They are (at least) Gary N, very trustworthy, professional and reliable company.

A few weeks ago I had leaking water in the basement. Initially I thought it was the hot water heater but it turned out to be a pressure valve. Gary was very efficient and thorough in fixing the problem. Came out same day - problem turned out to be a bad breaker which wasnt covered by the EPP for the water heater. Gary conducted the diagnosis and replaced the breaker promptly in a pleasant and professional manner. Hot water was restored to my home the same day a problem was noticed.

Needed to have our A/C fixed. I checked out recommendation on our HOA group and found several that recommended Air-Right. I then read the reviews on Google and decided to call them. The lady who answered the phone was helpful and professional and I was astonished when she said they would have someone over within the hour! Mike H arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, made the repair, asked if I had any questions (which I did, I wanted to know how to set the dampers for appropriate air flow) which he explained and demonstrated. He was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Plus, the cost was very reasonable. Well definitely contact Air-Right for any future A/C needs. Plus, they also do electrical and plumbing!

We scheduled the installation for the very next day. Best of all, Gary Newton was our Service Specialist that did the installation. He was polite, professional, efficient, and very clean. I had lots of questions, and he had lots of answers. I would recommend Air-Right for any hot water heater needs, plus I plan to use them for HVAC in the future. Great job!!!!!!!!

NOVEC recommended. Gary Newton from Air-Right Energy Design arrived within the projected window and replaced the water heater. He was very professional and displayed great plumbing skills in connecting the new water heater to the existing water runs. The new water heater works great and he carted off the old leaker. I highly recommend Gary and Air-Right Energy Design if you have to replace your water heater.

My basement A/C unit started leaking and I called Air-right for the first time. Gary showed up and he removed the clog and redid the piping. I was completely satisfied with his work, and their price was right.Unlike few other HVAC companies who charged me 300% more, I felt Air-Right was honest and fair. Will definitely call Air-Right again for future repairs.
