Had a whole home water softener, tankless water heater, and a new exterior hose bib installed. Guys were punctual, courteous and professional. Explained every step of the process in a way that any homeowner could understand. Left no trace that they were ever here, except of course the space saving installations. Will hire for all future plumbing needs and would recommend to anyone.

Reddick & Sons replaced the ruptured drain line of my 65-year-old house, a major project which entailed jack-hammering my basement floor and using a back-hoe to dig a trench through my front yard to connect with the public sewer line. The entire operation was skillfully quarterbacked by Gilbert R. He had come to my house previously to assist with a comparatively simple plumbing task, but this challenge revealed his remarkable skills at comprehensive project management, co-ordinating the involvement of damage remediation specialists and heavy-equipment operators. He ensured that we were inconvenienced as little as possible throughout and left the job site clean and orderly at the end of each day. Gilbert and his apprentice Sam even carried a heavy sleeper sofa from our basement to our neighbors garage to get it out of the way and under cover. I cannot commend Gilbert R. and Reddick & Sons highly enough.

Great company! We had an issue with our water heater. We initially called for a plumber and even though it turned out to be an electrical issue, Will took the time to walk us through troubleshooting, explained why it was most likely an electrical issue, and was extremely knowledgable. Carlo and his son are the electricians that came out the following day. They were very gracious and clearly experts. They were transparent and told us what the cost would be upfront which was reasonable. They fixed the problem the same day and their positive attitude and expertise is appreciated. Explained everything they were doing and why. We now have hot water for the holiday and are grateful! We trust and highly recommend Reddick & Sons.

I had a great visit by Aaron from Reddick, he went over everything so crisp and clear and went ahead to check everything throughly and recommended that I did not had to spend any additional money. Walker was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had and made some recommendations on my plumbing projects. Overall the company has been great to work with so far. Their customer service rep was very friendly and was able to get me on the schedule almost immediately. Very impressed with them and planning to hire them to do a toilet replacement.

Just had a level 2 car charger installed as well as grounding of the flexible gas line which was never grounded. Carlo and his son did a superb job. They were efficient and extremely neat in their work. They explained everything they were doing and why it needed to be done. Carlo is extremely knowledgeable of what the required electrical codes are that need to be met. He respectfully answered all my questions ensuring I was comfortable with his work. I will definitely use them again for any of my electrical needs. I highly recommend them.

Found Reddick and Sons by chance when we needed our HVAC unit replaced. We were so pleased with the work that a month later when we needed a new hot water heater, we called them back. The team members were very responsive, kind, clean and thorough. Price for both replacements were not the cheapest but we didnt feel like we were taken advantage of. In this day and age, one rarely comes across a business like Reddick thats honest and genuinely appears to want to help their customers.

Five stars service at a very reasonable price! Shane and his crew from Reddict & Sons did an electrical circuit rewiring project at my 1940s old house. It was not an easy project due to the structure restrictions but they were able to figure out a way to get the job done with minimum structure damage and pass the county inspection. Their price is fair and service is top notch. Would use this company again for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues in the future.

Reached out on Saturday to have someone come out to look at the garbage disposer that was leaking and they responded instantly with a couple times on Monday they could come. Great customer service. We chose Reddick & Sons over Polar Air because the people at Polar Air were rude on the phone. Maybe they were having a bad day but they lost our business. Reddick was great. Corbett called to let us know he was on his way. Upfront about the issue with our gas valve. Found the part under warranty. Reddick & Sons charged only for the labor and Corbett, who did the work, was great. Will def call them again if we need anything. Two thumbs up.

I contacted Reddick and Sons on Monday and made an appointment for Tuesday for them to look at a leak in my hot water heater. The person I made the appointment with was very friendly, helpful, and thorough in explaining what the process would be. A half our before Will showed up he called to let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival he was very friendly and explained everything to me in detail. He replaced the hot water heater quickly and efficiently. When he was finished he told the time to explain everything to me and did a great job cleaning everything when he was finished. It was a pleasure to have Will here to replace the HWH.

We replaced our old HVAC with a new setup with Reddick. They were extremely professional and I didn’t feel like they were gouging me. Dan, Joe, and Joey were the installers and they all were extremely professional and courteous.At one point there was an unexpected electrical issue, when they told me I figured they were going to try to charge me more but nope! They said they wouldn’t charge me, brought out a fourth guy who was also professional and nice although I didn’t catch his name.I would endlessly recommend this company for all the services they offer.

I was told there were no appointments available and Id have to wait for an after-hours call, which I was ok with considering my last-minute call. I received a call within 20 minutes from a technician - Preston. Preston let me know hed arrive within 30 - 40 minutes. He arrived within 20 minutes and resolved the issue within 15 minutes. I have been a client of Reddick and Sons since 2019 and have always been pleased with the service they provide each time they come out. They are always professional and honest. Walker did a great job unclogging our kitchen sink. He called 30 minutes before arrival. He was friendly and professional. He told me what he was going to do (snake the drain) and the cost. Then he got his tools from the truck and went to work. After he was able to pierce the clog he spent 45 minute filling the sink with water and then carefully monitoring how quickly the sinked drain until he was satisfied that the pipe was running unhindered. I called 10 plumbing outfits and R&S were head and shoulders above everyone else in terms of professionalism and organization setting up the appointment. Mitch, the plumber who came out, followed through on my initial phone experience and did a amazingly great job. He had to cut drywall to get to the pipe, and used his 40 years of experience to find the precise location to cut, and then, cut a perfect square, just large enough to get in to do the repair and easy to patch afterwards. Their prices were reasonable and our leak was fixed quickly. I highly recommend this company and Mitch.

The water heater in my tenants house stopped working and so I did the usual research on area businesses that were highly rated. One of those I instantly found was Reddick & Sons. I called, set up an estimate/quote and was happy to see it come in below the the estimate from another company. Apparently, this other company could do water heaters, but they dont specialize in them.But I was happy with the quote I received from R&S, and liked the plumber (Walker) who was assigned to my project.As it so happens, Im a contractor and have done a number of the different trades, and was impressed in talking to Walker about the job. He made some good revisions to the current layout of pipes, and so pointed the bottom drain the the closet opening - the correct way.They were quick in getting the new heater in stock, it was a quality brand (A.O. Smith), and Walker used his amazing crimping tool which obviates the need for soldering and flux turning your pipes green. This is clean, well measured plumbing at its finest. Kudos to Walker.There was one electrical issue that occurred a couple days later, and R&S sent out an electrician to take a look. He made some further important modifications to the build, and voila, the heater is working beautifully, and Im a happy homeowner. Both Walker and the electrician (Carlo, with 27 years experience as an electrician) exhibited excellent service manners and a great amount of knowledge. In addition R&S call reps had no call wait times (mostly, it went straight through), and you actually get a real human! They were professional and took care of all my questions and needs.What a great experience. The price was good, the company employs good technicians - what else could you ask for? While I knew the best way to make the job happen I elected to have multiple companies and each told me a totally different and clearly more work for them and of course cost for me. Never any pressure to Buy Now, they just gave several options and said call us if you would like us to do the work. So I gave them a shot. Today William quickly repaired an ancient toilet in my house that lesser plumbers told me had to be replaced because they couldn’t find parts. Glad I found Reddick and William before I did that. Also they all seem to like dogs and cats so your pets won’t be a problem. :)

My AC stopped cooling properly because of a water leak involving my washer machine. I wasn’t aware of the fail safe on the HVAC system that was triggered because of the water or water vapors. The technician tested my AC unit for power and looked at some basic troubleshooting issues and quickly resolved my concerns once we saw the fail safe was triggered. I’ve enrolled in their annual maintenance program because of how professional this first visit was…thankful I called. Appointment was within 48 hours of my call. Technician was very helpful providing several maintenance tips in general. … not sure if this posted, so now fast forward 6 months and I’ve had my first annual inspection for HVAC. Today’s technician (Steven) was equally friendly and professional as the last. Thanks. Annual inspection for plumbing and electrical are next.

Steven helped troubleshoot why two of our rooms were not getting enough airflow from the vents, he found that the duct was bent and sagging. Once he fixed it all worked great! Steven also found a mouse nest in our compressors. Luckily no mice and they did not bite the wires. Steven noticed that the starter for the compressor wasn’t strong because the system is getting old and therefore the capacitors were weak. He made the changes at a reasonable price. This will extend the life of our compressors for several more years. Thank you Steven for your professionalism, answering questions and very sunny disposition! I am so happy to have found Reddick and Sons Inc. He has a ton of patience, believes in doing the perfect detection of gas leaks and only then fix the identified areas. He spent close to 3 hours to pressure test for leaks and addresses the identified issues. If you have any issues with gas leaks and repairs, Reddick & Sons, Inc and Will are the team to trust.FYI, i called in this other company and that technician was going to just fix the areas that our gas company giessed as to where it might be leaking and gave me twice the quote compared to what I spent with Reddick & sons Inc.So these guyz are not only patient, diligent, perfection but also value for money. Reddick & Sons awesome star technician is Will Kitchen. He did a masterful job of correcting a partially complete botched Kohler shower installation. My original plumber could not identify why the new fixtures could not be secured to the wall. They were all loose. To solve the problem he had to cut away the drywall in the hallway to expose the back side of the shower. Then my original plumber rerouted and replaced copper pipes to accommodate the new Kohler shower system. The result was the pipes leaked and the fixtures were still loose. Water flooded half of the utility room below. The problem was my original plumbers cut holes in the new tile were too big! At this point my original plumber left me with a mess.Will Kitchen arrived. Will located the leaks. He had to basically replace all the patchwork pipes with new copper pipes. Then Will took the fixtures apart and off the new tile. He said worse case was I would have to have the 4 x 4 cut tiles replaced. Through his intelligence, skill, creativity and magic he found a way to secure the fixtures so I did not have to replace $700 of ruined tile.Those were only two of the issues. He also identified and fixed water flow issues, non functioning body jet issues, and incorrect handle placement issues. Kohler is a great system that requires knowledge and experience to work properly.To say Will Kitchen is a star technician is an understatement. I would recommend him to help solve your multifaceted problems. He is competent, efficient, and cleans up any resulting mess. This one is a keeper and has earned a raise.

Our service tech, Aaron, arrived right on time and made the entire process quick and easy. He was able to clear out the drain efficiently. I had a clogged toilet that required professional review. Mitch first used the toilet auger but to our surprise that didn’t work. He then unscrewed the toilet and used the toilet auger from the bottom side. Out came a plastic fish toy. Mitch continued to set the toilet back in place when he realized that due to leakage over time the wood base was rotten and couldn’t hold the screws. So he went down to the garage and cut through the drywall that was right underneath the toilet. He replaced the wood and set back the toilet. Mitch solved two problems in one go and the pricing was fair! I would highly recommend Mitch for any plumbing related jobs. Reddick & Sons always bring in competent people. I’m glad I got them.

If you need an outstanding HVAC contractor, stop reading reviews and call Reddick & Sons right now! We recently had our 15 year old gas hot water heater replaced and unfortunately, the new water heater wasnt working working properly (the water was being heated to a much higher temperature than it should have). Replacing the gas control valve didnt solve the issue and the next day, we had no hot water.I called the company and was told that a tech would be out that afternoon. We received a phone call around 4PM and again at 6PM telling us that the tech had been delayed on another job but we shouldnt be concerned because he would still be coming out. At 8PM, no one had arrived so we called and spoke to the after hours service. Not long after that, we received a phone call from the owner of the company who apologized for the confusion, said he wasnt sure what had happened but he was heading into the office to get his truck and then he would be coming to our home as long as we were ok with him arriving late because he lives about an hour away from us.And sure enough, about an hour later, he showed up at our home. To make a long story short, he got the water heater working again, gave me his cell phone number and asked me to contact him the next day and let him know if everything was working ok. Unfortunately, the water was still being heated to a much higher temperature than it should have been so I sent him a text and he called me and said that he was going to replace the water heater. The office called me shortly afterwards to schedule that work. The tech who came out to replace the water heater was fantastic. He was very professional, answered every question I had thoroughly, and did outstanding work. After he had the new water heater installed, he left to go run an errand and then came back again later to check the temperature of the water to make sure the problem was fixed once and for all. It was and the new water heater has been working perfectly ever since!There are a lot of HVAC contractors in Northern Virginia and Im sure many of them do good work. But what separates the good companies from the truly outstanding companies is how they handle it when theres a problem with the product/service that they provided. And in our experience, you cant ask for better customer service than what Reddick & Sons offered to us. If you need HVAC work done, I cannot recommend Reddick & Sons highly enough!! Thanks again to Danny and Will F. for taking such great care of us. Youve definitely earned our business for life and we will absolutely recommend you to all of our friends and neighbors.
