Our technician Tray Smith was incredible! Possibly the best weve ever had. Was here for a routine system check-up. Arrived on time, polite, took care not to bring dirt into the house. He inspected parts of the system by opening panels that were sealed with metallic tape and I dont think have been opened in years. I will specifically ask for him to perform service calls/repairs/maintenance on my house going forward...he is that good!

Within an hour Marc came to my house, ensured the gas was shut off to it and gave me a reasonable quote with install the next day. Tuesday Marc came and installed the hot water heater. He was helpful, informative and thorough. I feel great about the work that’s been done!

Very pleased with the work done by Jose Renderos who installed a new sump pump at my home. Jose was very professional in the way he described the new pump. He installed it in a bit less than 3 hours. What I also liked about him was he called while in route to my home to tell me what time he would be here. Arrived at exactly when he said he would. I would highly recommend ARS and would also recommend you ask for Jose to do the work

Everything was wonderful!!We needed to replace our water heater. We purchased a water heater from Lowe’s and requested for a service for installation. ARS called me first thing in the morning and scheduled a visit.The technician, Nii was very professional and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job. Nathan was also great. We have a very tight spot for them to work with and they really worked hard to complete the job. Also Patricia at the office was very nice. She was very helpful when I needed to call to ask some questions. I am 100% satisfied and I would recommend ARS to everyone!!

I went to Lowes for a new water heater. They had ARS call and set up an appointment for a quote. Jose arrived quickly and gave me three choices. My partner and I were going out for the evening. The technicians arrived on time, no issues didn’t receive a 30 minute text that they were on their way. But that was fined they later advised that the automatic text system was down. They were very professional and polite. They described in detailed what they needed to accomplish in four hours and time to accomplish the work by putting my new HVAC in place. They were excellent. They couldn’t finish the job as where they were trouble shooting the new HVAC system something was wrong with a part they has to be ordered and someone will come back tomorrow to replace the factory part that was not working properly. They described what I needed to do and how the new Nest thermostat work. Very professional !! Great job so far. Let’s see if everything is working tomorrow when the new part comes in as today we have the heat on emergency heat due to the faulty part.

My technician was Nabeel Malak. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Upon completion of the water heater install, he noticed something was not correct with the flow of water and discovered a small pin size hole in my pipes in the crawl space which he fixed very quickly. This was the first time I had used ARS. With service like I received today, I will definitely be using ARS during future needs I may have.

I never rate top ratings but this four is highly rated. Today I had my HVAC system checked by ARS. The tech that came to inspect my system is named George. He was so informative and the education that I received today was so beneficial to my decision to consider if/if not I need to purchase or repair my heating system. He showed me videos of my system and thoroughly explained every part of the video and the worn parts of the system. He is phenomenal. Therefore, if you need your system inspected, contact ARS and request George. He said he is the only George that works there so you cant go wrong.

I needed to change my HVAC system and after replacing the old one, everything seemed fine. The technicians left me 3-4 air filters that looked more industrial than the brands you find in the stores. After using the filters they left me, I bought one of the 3M filters from Lowe’s and wouldn’t fit in the enclosure. I tried 5 different brands and none fit. The filter enclosure was wrongly built. I now need to cut the filters to adjust them to fit.[Update 11/22/2024] A technician came to my home and was able to adjust a crooked metal guide inside the enclosure so I am able to fit the standard filters now. As it turned out it gave it an extra 1/4 inch that was needed.I was very happy with the response from their quality assurance team!

I received an email stating the technician was on his way about one hour into my 4 hr. Window He arrived not too long after that got right to work. Raevon was very polite and completed everything we needed to have done in a timely manner. He made a few recommendations for things that would improve our indoor air quality because we suffer from allergies. What I loved most was he wasn’t pushy or coercive but presented the information that we’ll need to make the decision. He asked several times if we had any questions or concerns and then explained exactly what I was signing for at the end of the visit. I hope Raevon will be our tech the next time we get our unit serviced as he’s very polite and professional.

My system took a complete dump during a °100 day on a Friday afternoon. Called ARS and a salesperson arrived within a few hours. He managed to get our system to at least run on fan to circulate the air. Chose the system, and that Monday it was installed. Our new heatpump is so much quieter, and installation took less than 5 hours. The technicians were professional, polite, and cleaned up everything. Excellent job. Couldnt be happier.

Our AC stopped working last night. ARS arrived at 3:10 the next day. Ryan looked at the system and right away saw the problem It was a clogged tube. An easy fix. He was very friendly and I stayed and watched him unclog it in case it happens again. Been living at my house for 37 yrs and that never happened before. Probably will not happen again.________________________________11/14/2024ARS Service Tech, Antoine, came out to service our Unit. He did a cleaning on our condense coil, cleaner out blower wheel and installed an electric air cleaner. Hopefully everything combined will keep the air in our house cleaner and our unit functioning at its capacity. He was very nice and personable.

ARS installed an air-conditioning system for me about 2.5 years ago. They gave me the best price I could find in the area. It came with a parts and labor guarantee of five years. The compressor fan went out and had to be replaced within 1.5 years. The total cost to me to replace it was $100. It took about 10 days however, because they had to order the part, and then finally when the part was received they had a miscommunication about who was supposed to bring it. So the tech arrived with no fan motor. But in the end it was installed and everything is now fine. Thankfully I was able to keep the old compressor fan motor going by oiling it, until the new one arrived.The AC stopped working yesterday/Sunday. I found water in the drain pan. I called them around 5 PM to send a tech out. However they called at 9 PM and said he would not be able to make it. It was hot, and I told customer service that. 30 minutes later another tech called and drove out from Manassas, arriving around 10:30 PM.. We found the problem, it was the result of a pipe not being adequately installed, causing water to flow back into the pan. But on the other hand it was fixed on a late Sunday night. So that’s pretty good customer service.. And the tech, Robert was good, friendly, and efficient. I gave him a $20 tip.Overall I have found ARS to be pretty reliable, I’ve found their installers and repairman to be friendly and good, and the customer service is mostly good.

I had a great experience with Eval, the technician who did my semi-annual routine maintenance today. He was polite and very thorough in checking both of my HVAC systems. He found a capacitor that was near end-of-life, and took the time to show me the readings on his test equipment. He recommended replacing the capacitor, and since I have a 10-year warranty on the system, where was no charge. ARS should strive to hire more honest, hard workers like Eval--hes definitely a keeper!

Across the board Mark was amazing! Professional and extremely informative! We had a new water heater as well as a softener installed. I never felt more comfortable about a purchase and it’s 100% due to Mark. His down to earth demeanor, willingness to explain the entire process and answer all of our questions, (and I definitely had a few) added with the pride he takes in his work (and it showed) made me feel great about this experience. It was like having a friend who just happened to work for ARS. I know it’s just my opinion but the way he does business(inspections, installs, etc.) needs to be the standard.

Today’s inspection: 5 stars. Ryan was efficient, professional, answered my questions, and did not push the optional services that I did not want done. None of the ARS service people are salespeople, they are knowledgeable technicians.ARS in general: 4 stars. They are dependable and I’ve used their service for about 5 years now. The only reason for 4 and not 5 is that every visit is by a different service person, and each approach is a little bit different, sometimes even contradictory.

ARS was a lifesaver when my AC went out recently on one of these scorching days. Andrew promised I’d have a new unit installed the next day and I did. My top floor of my townhome is finally cool. I had to call them and test out their 24 hour emergency call when I noticed some water leaking, which turned out to be a minor issue, and Imran was at my home within 2 hours and fixed the issue quickly. If you need a new unit, I highly recommend going with Home Depot and ARS. Great service.

However, if the problem had been corrected properly 3 weeks ago, when it first occurred, this visit and the follow-up would not have been necessary. Just saying that you all need to do better.

Note: I only just had my new hot water heater tank installed last night, so this is a short term outlook on ARS: The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Got a Bradford White 50 gallon tank, installation, with two new ball valves, a new pressure regulator, and some new piping for less than $3600. The only downside was that they were quite late (due to complications with the preceding appointment) and comms to relay to me were lacking. That said, they stayed until 11pm to finish the job.

Had a central a/c go bad. A Carrier installed by ARS 19 years ago. Cant complain. On the day of the sale Jason G. noticed a bad expansion tank and a rusted fitting going into the hot water heater. Probably a disaster waiting to happen. Had both jobs done the very next day. The guys were one-time, efficient and skilled in their trade. It was refreshing to have such nice and competent people in my home. Ive been a long time ARS customer and will remain one.
