We had an issue with our drain pipes due to using flushable toilet wipes. Word to the wise, do not use them as they dont breakdown. Roto Rooter did an outstanding job. Working with Mark Valli and Burim Preniqi (Boogie) as our service technician. Boogie and Jamie did an outstanding job with the descaling process, explaining everything and they were so professional, timely, and knowledgeable. Boogie put my mind at ease and I highly recommend Roto Rooter and their fabulous work!!

Highly recommended. David was called in to help me clear the main drain. Initially thought was an easy clean out, but it turned out to be a 3 hours job. Dave was very dedicated and willingness to get the main drain unclog is something I strongly admire. Needless to say how dirty and unpleasant smell the job brings, but on top of that, he tried very hard to keep pushing with that declogging snake machine. To penetrate the stubborn hard build up gunks inside the pipe, he tirelessly switched back and forth from using one machine to another. He ended up removed 4 ft depth of gunks from the main drain. Not to mention hes super chill and friendly. He answered all the questions I have and provided solutions. We chatted 3 hours straight. All in all, if youre looking for someone to unclog your drains, look no further. Dave is the specialist who doesn’t give up.

Technician Ron #5592 did a great job on my main drain clogged. He cleaned the main line while flushed ton of water through, and cleared all the roots in the line. Best plumbing! Ron came out and looked at my job. Ron was able to do it in a couple of hours. One of the best sleight-of-hand guys I know is a plumber.

Had Plumbing issues New Years Eve. Called one plumber and he wanted to charge us $550.00, due to the holiday, just to come out to the house. I called Roto-Rooter. Spoke to Candy. She was very pleasant and asked me if I had seen the savings coupon on line. I had and she entered the $75.00 savings coupon in the notes. She explained that they charge the same fee for the service no matter what day they come to the house. The assessment is free and you are under no obligation to sign for the service. We did chose to sign for the service. Joel, our technician, was polite and happy to educate us on what he was doing and how to prevent further issues. He was thorough, and cleaned up as he went and when he was done. It was a pleasure having him come to the house. I would recommend Roto Rooter 100%.

Professional, considerate and honest service from David for a weekend sewer line emergency at home. While the problem was not able to be fixed due to an archaic trap that needed replacing (it was completely blocking the path to the sewer line), everything was communicated to me very clearly. He was here for about five hours trying to to work around that obstacle, and at least he was able to give a clear diagnosis of the problem. The helpful, friendly and reassuring quality of service I received helped take some of the pain out a common homeowner nightmare.

Called RR and they arrived about a half hour later and within an hour big gross grease clumps were released and everything was moving smoothly again! David was very nice and professional. He covered the wheels of his commercial snake with bootie covers so as not to track in dirt and he cleaned up as if he were never there. 5 star service!

Our main drain backed up mid-day on a Saturday, overflowing the basement toilet into utility room. I cleaned up the mess but was unable to unclog line, so called RotoRooter. Alex arrived by early evening, explained his plan of action and costs, and went to work. He had to escalate from a manual augur to mid-size one to the largest/longest augur, but was finally able to unblock the line about 60% of the way to the street main. He then augured the pipe all the way back to be sure, verified that toilets, sinks, etc all worked, and cleaned up, finishing in about 1 1/2 hours - a major relief for us. He was pleasant, competent, and efficient. Very nice work.

We could not use H20 and would have to stay someplace. It took hours. 880.00Btw I used a poop on (coupon) for 100 off w 6 month guarantee. I did not purchase the bacterial product the Roto Rooter pushes their techs to buy.Five stars

Danny, did an excellent job. There had been a lot of rain & snow melt and flooding everywhere. The first two plumbing services I called , couldnt send anyone for days. But Roto rooter said they could have someone there within a couple hours.And sure enough Danny arrived on schedule. He worked his butt off trying to get our sewer line unclogged. There was not a lot of room for him to work. And he ended up having to remove the toilet in order to snake the drain properly. And the clog was some 40 ft from the house. After 3 hrs he was about to give up. He was showing me how the water was just filling back up, when all of a sudden that clog breaking whoosh of draining water happened, Victory. Thanks Danny and thanks Roto rooter for helping us so expeditiously. We wouldnt have been able to stay in the house otherwise. Our situation was a little complicated and required follow up. I also met Exavier and Matt, for a camera scope of our sewer line and a toilet installation. They were both very and professional . Roto rooter really has hired some great people.

Alex, the tech was great. He was very patient answering all of my questions/concerns. I had a tough clog in my kitchen drain pipe. The water from my washing machine and bath tub when drained, would come up into my kitchen sink. Alex took some time to figure it out and was able to unclog it. Appreciate the excellent customer service and his quick response to the issues I was having. Cost was expensive to snake kitchen pipe but well worth it since my plumber could not unclog it w/his snake and he tried several times.

We had a clog and backup on our main line going into our septic tank, originally called out septic tank cleaners to take care of cleaning, upon finishing cleanup we had found out that there was a clog as the house started to back up again. Was very fed up and exhausted at this point, considering it was after 5pm on a Wednesday.We decided to call roto-rooter and was very pleased to hear that they could be at my home between 6pm and 10pm on the same day of my call. Jason Ospina was sent out and at my home within an hour of my call. After the assessment we agreed on the best course of action and price. Jason had cleaned out the line within 15 minutes after setting up and had stayed with us having us run the water and test the system for about another 15-20 minutes. Taking a lot of precaution and ensuring the work was done properly.Roto-Rooter’s customer service and technicians were great and amazing! I had been making phone calls to different companies for over the past 24 hours looking for septic cleaners and plumbers/drain cleaners and by far Roto-Rooter was the only company who was able to provide excellent service all around from customer service to the technician, making the experience so much less daunting. The price is on the higher side but considering this was an emergency and that I am still learning as a new homeowner this was a bullet I was willing to take. Thanks again Jason and Roto-Rooter!

Not all heroes wear capes, the first tech they sent out did a great job and tried his best. But they needed to bring in the big guns so Joe had to come in and finish the job. Joe was friendly and got right to work clearing our drain and figured out the problem with Tom Brady playoff touchdown drive like precision. If Joe hadn’t have been so handsome and intelligent who knows where we would be, at the very least our drain would still be clogged. We had an issue with a clogged main drain last Sunday, which resulted in water backing up into our basement. We called Roto Rooter on Monday morning, and we were very happy that a technician was able to come by early that afternoon. Not only was the drain cleared by Rafal, but Mark came by the following day to place a camera in the drain to determine the cause of the problem. It turned out that the issue was a clay pipe failure under the sidewalk in front of our house. We notified our city’s Public Works Department, who are supposed to look into the problem after Christmas. Thanks to Roto Rooter’s excellent customer service, we hopefully will have the issue solved at no additional expense to us:)

Mr. Mark Valli recommended the gentleman, Denys.As Mark said, Denys is the best! 👍He got the drain pipe going in an hour or two and even showed me the before/after video of the pipe. The cause is the tree roots for sure while the previous company said to me it was not roots. Excellent service from the plumber who came out for a job in Chelmsford MA, but the price they charged to replace an ejector pump in our basement was insane. They placed a nearly-$1000 premium on the pump (they doubled the cost of the parts on the invoice). We were in a bind in terms of having it replaced to stop raw sewage seeping in the basement, so we had to go with them, but if you have the ability to go with someone else I highly recommend exploring other quotes. I would have, but they were the only ones available to come out same day locally. I cannot recommend someone who charges such extortionate prices, regardless of the quality of the plumber.Edit: shortly after posting this review a regional manager for Roto-Rooter, Mike, called me directly. We spoke for a few minutes about the situation that occurred and he was in agreement that the price seemed unreasonable for the service completed. He offered a partial refund on the overall cost of the part, which I accepted. He also mentioned hed speak to the local manager for the team this coming week about what occurred as a training/coaching opportunity. He did not ask me to change this review, and specifically said the credit was not contingent on me changing it. Regardless, Im updating this to a 4-star to reflect the extra mile Roto-Rooter went to to make up for what I found to be a negative experience during a trying time. I very much appreciated his call, and his offer to credit us partially for the parts cost.

I have to tip my hat to him, he stuck with the problem and didnt leave until the drain was totally cleared. After a few hours Ron showed up at my house and explained what he was going to do and the possible costs for the job. Ron was courteous and professional. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend these guys if you have a plumbing emergency and your favorite plumber isnt available.

Absolutely fantastic. I was overwhelmed and confused by my septic disaster. Ray and Kevin worked with me...calmly and patiently to do what needed to be done. They got me back on track and helped me understand what to do next. Ray even made sure I had his number in case I needed him to come back after my septic was pumped. Price very reasonable.

Our main Sewer Line clogged up on Christmas Eve with about a dozen out of town guests staying with us. It was a total nightmare. After many messages left for local plumbers and zero returned calls we finally called Roto Rooter first thing Christmas morning. They were out within just a few hours and the plumber they sent was one of the most courteous and well mannered technicians Ive ever had in my home. After everything was said and done, our pipes were clear and we werent charged any outrageous off hours emergency rate. Nobody wants to have to make the We need emergency plumbing service call, but they truly handled the situation in the best manner that we could have possibly hoped for.

Scheduled for a plumber to come take a look at my basement drainage pipes as we think its clogged. Someone was supposed to come between 9-11am, but the plumber didnt come until noon. I was hoping to take just a couple hours off from work, but ended having to take the day off. I did not like that. What a waste of waiting half a day for the guy to come. should have scheduled him from 3-5pm so that at least I could have just left work early. So lesson learned there!When the plumber came, he was very nice and helpful. He gave me a $500 quote and was able to do the work in an hour and a half. By the time he was done, it was almost 2pm.Overall, it was a good experience, though I thought $500 was a little expensive but I could not afford to take another day off from work just to potentially save a hundred bucks or so. If it wasnt for the long wait and it being a bit more expensive than I was hoping, I would have given them 5 stars.

From the moment of arrival, Bill (tech# 3462) was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He quickly took care of our drain clog, which was causing waste water to be backed up into our basement. He definitely deserved the 5-star review, but be forewarned that the time frame headquarters assigns may not be accurate since they are quite a few states away. They quoted 20 mins from the office site, which is at least a 45 minute drive. Other than that, they were great. I would use them again without hesitation.

I had an excellent experience with Roto Rooter this past Tuesday. The valve on my shower was broken and the plumber was able to fix it and now it’s working perfectly. The plumber ( Tech 467) was very polite, friendly, and professional. He arrived on time and cleaned up any mess he made. I would definitely consider going with Roto Rooter again.

The technicians arrived within an hour of my call and spent about an hour to clear my kitchen sink drain. They accomplished the task quickly and without incident. For their technical skill, I give them 5 stars. But the service was priced quite high at nearly $490 to clear the drain. The hourly rate for their labor seems excessive. It would have seemed about right had the charge been $300.

The technician who arrived and provided the service was a gentleman by the name of Niko. He was fantastic! One day after moving in to our new house, we discovered a previously undisclosed blockage with the main sewer line. American Home Shield, included in the home purchase, sent someone out, but wouldnt do more than using an auger, without success. Called Roto Rooter and issue was resolve quickly, professionally, and for a reasonable price. I was only home for one of the two visits, but that technician did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

Late on a Thursday we discovered that the drains in our kitchen and laundry were blocked. We used Roto-Rooters web site to schedule a visit the next morning. This was originally scheduled to be from between 8am to 10am, but their dispatcher called us at 9am to let us know that the technician would be later than originally scheduled - between 9am and noon. We received a call at about 10:45 and the tech arrived just after 11. He worked on the clog until about 1pm before finally getting it open. Because of the configuration of the pipes it was actually fairly difficult to deal with, but he did a good job and the drains are now running freely.

Made a CRAPPY situation (literally) into a positive one. We had a sewage line block in our finished basement. Stephen H. came in, assessed the situation quickly, provided us with an estimate with NO SURPRISES. There were several blockages in the line, he cleaned them all out quickly, thoroughly, with GREAT attention to detail. He identified some problems we have in our plumbing set up and told us numerous ways we can fix them and tricks to help us in the future. He was pretty much the best service person we have had in our house in the 20+ years we have been living here. DID I MENTION HOW CLEAN HE WAS WITH OUR BEIGE CARPETTING!!!?????!!!! AWESOME JOB AND VERY AFFORDABLE!!!

We had a clog in our main pipe that flooded our basement, A representative/ technician arrived, named Stephan H. spent several hours in the basement working diligently in the most extreme heat and deplorable condition the basement was in. Despite all of this, Stephan H. Did his work diligently. A very pleasant representative/technician.
