Canfield has been my go-to for all plumbing and heating/cooling needs since I became a home owner. They always take care to explain everything they are doing and provide as many options as possible for a fix. Im always impressed. Kane was the technician that put in my RO drinking water system and repaired a leaky hot water line today and I couldnt be more pleased with the service he provided!

Martin was wonderful. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on with our plumbing system. He was not rushed and took the time to make sure I fully understood what the issue was and what we need to do to solve the problem. We have had a number of technicians come out over the years from Canfield and none of them took the time like Martin did to explain things in a way that I can understand. I would highly recommend Martin to friends or family looking for plumbing services. You can tell he loves his job!

The crew showed up on time and were very polite and thorough about the process for installation. After completing the work they took the time to explain so much about the furnace and ac unit. They cleaned up the area very good too. I would strongly recommend Canfield for HVAC, plumbing and electrical. From my first phone call to the office staff, a thorough estimate from the field techs to completion of installation was all top notch. This is how business is done.

I’m a General Contractor, had a weird random leak in my basement landing. Called Canfield and they sent an emergency technician out to assess the issue. A young kid, with 3 years of experience showed up, and absolutely nailed every part of the process. He was quick, extremely polite, clean, well spoken, and his knowledge of plumbing with only 3 years was a good as any Journeyman. If there apprentices are this well trained, they must have a pretty solid roster. I called them around noon, and he was here and gone by 2 o’clock.This was my first time doing business with Canfield, and it definitely won’t be my last.Thank you for your service.

Rod arrived on time. He diagnosed and remedied the problem promptly. He explained the problem in detail as well as offering multiple solutions both short term and long term. He also offered advise to head off future problems and secure long term operation of the equipment. I would be happy to work with Rod again. He is diligent, knowledgeable and personable. Its a pleasure to work with him.

So If you are looking for good electrical work these are the people to call. Had Nells and Blake here to install an up grade in bathroom exhaust/heat fan which required new wire run from switch to fan and swich to main panel. Also had a wire run for a Ceiling fan Light combo in my living room where one did not ever exist. Turned out well, actually better than I expected. Both them guys are very professional and super down to Earth, and super fun. I do have blown in insulation which made a bit of a mess as to be expected. Also had a decent amount of dust from cutting holes for new boxes and the hole for living room fan which is also to be expected. They cleaned it up as though the job had not been done. GOOD PEOPLE. If you want decent HONEST professionals who are down to earth I highly recommend calling these guys. Pretty sure you wont be disappointed.

Reliable, thorough, and surprisingly dependable.... Especially compared to original installer and two other service companies that tried to resolve the same issue.Technician went past the obvious and dug into the a constant water seep from our 2 year old furnace. Every other company literally threw parts at it but Mr. Galarza displayed an above average concern and curiosity to ensure the source was actually discovered. His determination to provide service meant a $400 repair that actually fixes the problem instead of a $1500 bill, warranty battle, and certain return service work.Technician had great communication and was on time (which has never happened before) and if he is an example of their companies care and capabilities, absolutely our 1st call for any future issues!!!!

The office personnel was great in scheduling and updating my appointment. They were also in contact to let me know when the technician would be arriving. The technician, Blake Watters, was professional and caring. Blake listened to my concerns, explained different options, and gave me a fair quote in price. Blake also made sure two outlets I had concerns about were safe and in working condition. He also presented me with some helpful safety tips. I highly recommend Canfield for electrical issues.

Rod was prompt and professional. I have a heat pump and it’s kind of hard to find someone that you can trust to work on them. Rod was very thorough and explained to me what he did. Dave Allen does great work and explains what is happening as he works. Every person Ive encountered has been professional and friendly. With this service call, we had a mouse nest in our outside AC. It chewed on our capacitor wire which caused our AC to freeze up and not put out air. Dave came out, found the nest, cleaned up the unit, installed the new unit, and was out in less than an hour. Great reliable service.

This five star review is for David A.My husband and I recently had Canfield come out and install central air in our home about two weeks ago- we had noticed some water dripping from the connection to the furnace so my husband called Canfield and David A. came out to take a look and fix the problem. He was so professional, polite and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He gave us so much insight and answered questions we didn’t even realize we had or should ask. His professionalism, honesty and kindness went above and beyond but on top of that it was a Sunday morning when he came out but still seemed happy to take care of us! I absolutely recommend him and anytime we need any service we will request him by name.To be honest- I wish David A. would have been the one to give us the quote and been involved with the install because I know for a fact we wouldn’t have had any issues but I’m sure glad he’s the one that came out to solve the problem- but from a company perspective you should just do it right from the beginning and for that reason you should have David A. being the one at the front of the sale instead of cleaning up the mess after.

They said if they had one in stock, they could replace it either that day or the next. They had one, and actually had it replaced by 2pm that same day. This never happens to me! Great service and nice guy doing the installation. I looked at a lot of reviews, and it looked to me like they were a little more reasonably priced than some of the bigger companies, yet are still big enough to have some depth and not make you wait too long for an appointment. Thumbs up!

Dave Allen was great ! He was polite and very personable. My dad and I did some repairs on my central air unit ahead of his arrival. We installed a new thermostat, air filter, and spliced some wire from the outside unit to the thermostat. He looked it over and verified it was quality work and done correctly. Blake did great servicing our generator. However he took a picture of the battery because the terminal had a little rust on them. Rather than clean off the terminals he suggested we consider a new battery because it was on the low end of being charged. I’m curious as to why he didn’t clean them. The price for this service is double what I paid last year. Blake attributed the increase to new management. E aske how much it would cost to move our generator 4 feet and he quoted us $3200. Why so expensive, he said basically we’d have him for a full day plus parts. I’m not sure how much Blake makes per hour, but at $50/hr that equates to $400 labor even at $60/hr thats $480. There’s no way 4-8 feet of hoses and wiring can possibly cost $2700 or more. I know you must make a profit, but as a long time Canfield customer, I may have to look elsewhere if costs have risen so dramatically.Mike did a great job installing our new pressure tank and piping. Your employees have always been very accommodating to work with. Customer service has been your hallmark, lease keep it that way and keep your prices reasonable. The new management, however, needs to follow the employees and previous owner’s example. There’s more to business than just the bottom line.

I installed a pioneer two zone mini-split in my shop at home 4+ years ago. Worked great until a couple weeks ago. I opened it up to find that mice had taken up residence and chewed on some wires. I cleaned out fixed the wires and still couldn’t get it running. I called Canfield heating and plumbing and Clayton came out to see what he could do. He had to call pioneer’s tech support and work with them to walk through the troubling shooting. Tech support suggested a control board. So Clayton ordered it and three days later came to install it in the rain. Walked through it again with tech support and they suggested replacing the second board. Three days later the second board arrived with Clayton and we have success!! These things are more computer than mechanical and every company is different. Clayton was fantastic at walking through the process and got me up and running again. Now i need to create a cage for my mini-split to keep the mice out. I look forward to working with Clayton and Canfield again. Hopefully not too soon.

Marjorie asks that serial numbers, like on garbage disposals are recorded before installation or easily visible to homeowner. A good idea and our only suggestion for improvement.
