We had a great experience with Native Design. We had a landscape design before we met Jacob and he and his team took it to the next level. They installed 3 separate retaining walls, pool and patio decking, sod, lake supplied irrigation, well thought out landscape planting and placement , grading, stone walkways, driveway drainage, lot drainage, a driveway rock feature, and fencing to enclose our pool. The project was complicated given the slope of our lot and additions and challenges along the way. Jacob had an immediate and creative solution for each one. The crew was very courteous and respectful during the 16 week project. Jacob remained within budget and was fair when new expenses arose. It was impossible to anticipate every need up front, but he finished on time for us to get our house occupancy. We were not in the area during most of the project and he kept us up to date on the progress. He also worked well with our builder which was critical to stay on our timeline. The irrigation team walked me through my 12 zone system and explained in detail how it works and how to maintain it being supplied from a lake. We would definitely recommend Native Design and would have done more work directly with him had we met sooner in our project. We look forward to working with Jacob in the future with our landscape lighting later this year along with general maintenance of our property.

Janie and I are totally thrilled and blessed with everything Native Design and Hardscape accomplished for us!Our water feature is amazing! It was designed and landscaped as though it had been there forever. Our old trees and shrubs from the original landscape were kept but overgrown for our home. Jeran took what we had and used what fit and totally redesigned our front yard and around the house. He took our vision and took it to the next level. From the lighting, sprinkler system, stone work, planting, mulch and transplanting each crew knew the job and performed each responsibility flawlessly.The crew leaders communicated with us daily and watching our yard transform was incredible. Alot can be said when the employees are happy and have been with a company for many years, this is the working culture and success Native Design and Hardscape brings to the customer. We absolutely love the work Native Design and Hardscape has done on our yard! They put in a pool with boulders and a waterfall. The entire pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, and off to the side is a fire pit with rock wall seating. The entire crew is amazing and we could not have asked for a better experience!

I had a hill in the backyard that was covered in invasive plants and was too steep to be usable. Jacob and the crew at Native Design transformed that hill into a beautiful two-tiered wall with boulders. It is now a lovely space that gives me so much more room for my garden. We worked with Jacob over at Native Design and Hardscape, and we had a fantastic experience. They tackled our travertine, flagstone, steps, drainage, landscape, and about 100 other little things that I asked them to do. The crew assigned to our job was the hardest working crew Ive ever come across (and we have houses built for a living). They showed up by 7am everyday (with everything the needed for that day). And they stayed till 7pm or some days even longer. The guys in that crew were such a pleasure to have around the house. Jacob hit every timeline that he gave us. They knocked out all of the extras that we added on throughout the project. Their quality of work was second to none. By the end of our project, I was begging Jacob to start a pool division, and offering to be an investor in that company. Thats how impressed my wife and I were with what they delivered.

I just recently signed up for spring and winterization services with Native Hardscapes And Design. About a week later, I discovered I had a leak in my irrigation system. I called Native for help and they were out the next day. The crew was very thorough and they explained each step of the repair needed to me along the way. When they were done they cleaned up thoroughly from the work that they did. I have been very pleased with their response and service and highly recommend.

I experienced a problem with my irrigation system during the hottest days without rain. My previous irrigation contractor stopped by spent a few minutes, and said they would get back with me. I pay them for additional service and still had to call them as my system was down. It was going to be 10 days to come out! I called Native Design & Hardscape and they answered the phone and had someone out in two days. Dan and Sam arrived on time, asked questions, and assessed the system giving me possible problems and solutions. They worked hard to locate valves that got buried over the years. They tried to salvage my pump that was over 10yrs old but it just was not doing its job. They had to replace some malfunctioning valves and heads with some breaks in the lines they repaired. I am so amazed how much better my system now works. They also repaired my landscaping lighting that had been damaged by other workers on my property. The invoice was what I had expected and reasonable for their hard work! Their involvement of me in the process and respect for my home is really appreciated. Keep up the great work and service. Native Tn was an absolute pleasure to work with on my pool area project and backyard remodel. Jacob and his team were very professional, punctual, and respectful during the entire process. From the initial meeting I knew I had the right company for my project. I interviewed multiple companies to receive quotes and Native Tn was the only one that came on time to give me a qoute and it was a very detailed qoute. I’m a very meticulous person when it comes to remodel projects and Jacob went above and beyond meeting my expectations. The crew were very polite and respectful to my family. Jacob and Cole were easy to communicate with and would often meet routinely to discuss the project and expectations. I’ve worked with different companies in the past and none of them compare to the experience with Native Tn. He takes pride in the quality of his work but also how his crew works on site. I called Jacob to come out to look at our backyard. When I met him all I knew was I wanted a pool, but not sure how or where to make it work in my yard. We have a slope in my yard that would make the design difficult. Jacob came out, looked at my yard, and provided us with two different renderings of options. His design ideas were AMAZING! Once we decided on what we wanted, and the work started- his crew were great. They did fantastic work, and never left without cleaning up all debris and construction material from the day. My husband and I were in awe every step of the process. Everything they did turned out better than we couldve imagined and looked even better than the renderings.We started just wanting a pool, but got so much more. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our backyard space. They also beautifully landscaped the back and the front yard with a variety of trees, bushes, and plants. The maintenance service they provide is stellar. They arrive at around the same time every week to mow. They also regularly weed and maintain the landscaping. If my husband or I request additional maintenance then they come out that day or the next to fulfill that request. The owner, Jacob Dunaway, and staff are always very courteous and professional. We plan on using their services for years to come and have and will continue to recommend them to others.

I have been using Native Design & Hardscape for over 12 years. I liked the way they drew up a complete plan when I decided to do an updo to my entire landscaping. All plants and flowers were listed on the plan along with a picture and description of each plant. I was very pleased because there were different colored perennials blooming at different times throughout the year. They would also add annuals to add more color in the spring and fall, if i chose to, which added a nice pop of color. The Native design crew were always very polite and and respectful. If I ever had an emergency, as with my irrigation system, someone would show up that day to fix the problem. Very dependable... They kept on schedule as far as the mowing, weeding, trimming, fertilizing, etc. I never had to worry about the correct treatment being done at the right time of the season.I always received many compliments on my landscaping.K.Swersky

This is our first time working with Native Design & Hardscape. Our irrigation was inoperable for at least a couple of years. They came out and not only got it all back online but took the time to make sure the spray heads were positioned perfectly. Seems like common sense but our cars used to get wet from the spray heads over extending the grass, leaving nasty water spots and they would also spray out into the street hitting other cars driving by etc.It was a nuisance. Now we can park anywhere and not have to worry about any of that. If youve ever had water spots from the sprinkler water left on your car you know what Im talking about. Its horrible. Due to some staffing and service changes with our landscape maintenance company, our community was in need of irrigation system repairs and regular maintenance. We called several companies that would only perform repairs and maintenance on systems that they had installed, and several that had a 4-6 week wait for service. Native Design and Hardscape had our sprinkler system repaired in less than a week and they have been so responsive and communicative that we plan to stay with them for all of our irrigation start-ups and shut-downs/winterization, maintenance, and repairs in the future.

I had a burst backflow device and they first told me on the phone how to turn it off to stop it from spurting more water, then they came out pretty soon after to diagnose the problem and to let me know what needs to be repaired. They also winterized my system which had not been done by the people I had before. When I had questions, Jonathan promptly answered them and sent out the tech to take care of what I needed. They will be back in the spring to install the backflow device and fix the broken sprinkler heads.

I was pleasantly surprised that after calling Nature Design and Landscaping looking for someone to winterize my lawn sprinkler system, they were able to come out the very next day. Upon their arrival, I found out that they had travel to through a snow/traffic area, to get here. Most companies would.normally reschedule. I had made the mistake already of waiting too long to get this done, so I was happy they still came. They were an extremely friendly, nice couple, who did a great, thorough job. I recommend Nature for any job you may need done, to do a great job, and in a timely, fair priced way. I will definitely be using them for my future needs.
