We had to have a part of our main drain pipe replaced, due to some big roots that was growing inside it. Timmy and his helper were there about 10 am and they worked all day to get the pipe replaced. They estimated the pipe to be 4 foot down into the ground but found that it was actually about 8 feet down. They had some issues about the dirt keeping falling down on them, but they took care of that with a box to hold the dirt out. Timmy and his guy were there until around 10pm. The drain is working great now, and we want to give a shout out to Timmy and his guy from the Louisville, KY office!! They are great!!

Carlos Chavez with Roto-Rooter was excellent! I would highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs. I had a clogged main line with water backing up into my basement drain. My house is 49 years old and Carlos was so knowledgeable about the materials used for plumbing back then. He explained everything he needed to do, why he did it, and showed me exactly where my pipes were compromised with roots growing in them. Being the field manager, I know he was very busy but he stayed the whole time. The other technician, Richard Norris, worked tirelessly along side him. Carlos was upfront with the cost of repairs and very punctual-same day service was a bonus since I couldn’t use my water. The initial response time was not great for an emergency service but the overall execution of clearing up our problem once Chris was called into the job was a godsend. We had a sewer line back up into our downstairs basement bathroom and by the time we discovered it the mess was horrific. Chris arrived and not only cleared the line he helped us identify the issue and location of the pipe break which showed it was MSDs responsibility. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in finding a remediation company for the cleanup. I would without hesitation hire him in the future. Overall very happy with our experience with the company minus the rough rocky start.

We had a main drain that wasn’t draining well and so we called Rotor Rooter and Tim came out and snaked the drain, he then had to go get the hydro jet and cleaned it out for us. Tim and his supervisor came out and put the camera down the drain to be able to tell us there was a big root that was blocking the line. They were able to clear it out as of now, but we will have to get the section of pipe fixed and the root taken out. They gave us a great price/estimate for that work, now we just have to get things together to get that taken care of. The guys were awesome, and we are thankful we got such a great duo to come help us out!! Thanks guys!! Your hard work is very much appreciated!!

Called Roto-Rooter to fix our clogged kitchen sink after an unfortunate appointment with another, big company not only failed to open it but caused a flood in our kitchen. After cleaning up and pulling some laminate up to put a fan to dry off the subflooring, I got an appointment with them and got an estimate for 2-4pm. Instead, Kyle showed up even before 2pm and went to work.He opened the pipes in the basement, and they were completely full of grease. Having to do expensive jetting was possible, but Kyle hunkered down and kept snaking it until he blew it all out, saving us hundreds of dollars! I couldnt be happier, and I wrote down both Roto-Rooter and Kyles name for my plumbing needs. Full five stars! :)

Woke up to a burst water heater and standing water in our hallway and kitchen. The first place I called said the earliest they could get me in the schedule was in a week. I called Roto rooter next and they had someone out to me within the hour and got straight to work! Cannot say enough great things about them. The techs and the clean up crew were absolute amazing and took care of everything. Got the water heater replaced, floors ripped up and dried out and they came back every day for the next 4 days to make sure everything was drying out properly. Shout out to Arturo, Joseph, Cody and Dale, seriously cannot thank them enough for how great they were at their jobs and how much they cared.

Jamie Whittaker came out to do what we thought would be a simple repair, we were wrong. Jamie kept updating us on what turned out to be extensive pipe corrosion that spanned the entire room. He was always prompt with appointments throughout the process and his level of service was top notch. To clean up the concrete and relay the concrete he brought a team, Stanley who has been here before who also provided excellent service along with two other great working friendly co-workers to help expedite the process. Daniel at Roto Rooter is absolutely the most fantastic person! He literally created a Christmas miracle for our family! He came out the Sunday before Christmas unclogged two toilets and a shower, came back the next day with materials to fix a pipe. Within a 24 hour time frame he had us up and running again, he went above and beyond and the work he did was exceptional! He was honest and kind which was a plus considering a previous plumbing company had been to our home the day before him who had told us we needed to do extensive work, break into the foundation etc. possibly costing ten thousand plus. In an unfortunate situation, Carlos and Emmanuel made our project feel much less stressful. Our main sewer line needed replacing, and they were efficient and extremely knowledgeable about all the inner-workings of every aspect of our 80 year old plumbing. They even put up w/ our inconsiderate/hateful neighbors that made their jobs much more difficult than needed and our extremely excited 75lb dog that was very interested in meeting her new friends. Carlos and Emmanuel both went above and beyond the call of duty and made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire process from start to finish. We tried to stay out of their way, but they invited us to learn by seeing different aspects of our underground plumbing through the camera and really taught us some things as new and first-time homeowners. Their kindness and willingness to teach, show and repair was an invaluable part of our experience that were very thankful for. Also, major kudos to Kayla in the office for getting everything scheduled and organized for us - she met our scheduling needs, was very professional, and made sure we were taken care of. Im hoping that I dont need to call them back in the future, but if any plumbing issues do arise, they will be my first point of contact, and absolutely the people I will recommend.

I declined the next day service and requested a call back if there was any cancellations. I received a call back and approximately 30 to 45mins later Pauls was at my door. I am very pleased with the service I received from Shannon with Roto Rooter.I confess I first called a competitor who had a $99 special and guaranteed same day service (but I was told it would be the next day after my call before a technician could come, unless I wanted to pay an additional $99 after hour fee). First thing in the door the tech pitched me a service contract. He worked for about two hours with no observable improvement. He suggested another service call, and charge, for a tech to come the next day with a camera to locate the problem.I decided to give Roto Rooter a call. Shannon was here within 2 hours of my call. He did a brief diagnostic to determine how bad the problem was, worked about an hour, maybe less, and after that the drain handled all the water we could throw at it with no problem.I went on to talk to Shannon about my drain line and he explained how they can pretty accurately determine if the line has collapsed (my older home has terra cotta lines to the street). He also said due to the many years of experience he has cleaning lines he has developed a feel and can very accurately tell the condition of the line.He told me he ran across roots that had made their way into the system. I elected to have him apply their RootX product which is guaranteed to keep my line clear of roots for 1 year.I now have free flowing lines and can tell you that in the future Roto Rooter will be my first call...oh, and there was no sales pitch for a service contract!

I cannot thank the guys from Roto Rooter enough for the work they did at my house last week!! We have had issues with our system for quite some time and they were able to finally address those issues and fix them the right way. This was a major project and they went above and beyond to make things right. It started with Carlos and Dustin L, who came to my house several times to camera the line and figure out how to fix the mess. Tim and Bo worked the job, and there is not enough room to describe what an incredible job they did! Tim was a master on the mini/compact excavator and Bo worked his rear-end off to help get a 3 day job finished in 2 days! All four men were courteous and polite not only to myself, but to my wife and kids as well. I hope that I do not need their services again, but if I do I am confident that they will take care of whatever needs to be done to help my family.

I can finally sleep at night. Had a disconnected basement toilet that took in ground water whenever the ground water table rose. Required constant monitoring and vacing out whenever heavy rains occurred. I called Rotor Rooter in the morning and Paul was at my house within a few hours. Paul was absolutely the greatest. He took care of our long standing water problem quickly, professionally, and for a fair price. We will definitely be calling Rotor Rooter / Paul for all our future plumbing needs. Roto Rooter Tech, Charlie snaked the main drain and let us know it wasnt simply going to be fixed by snaking it and recommended a look with their camera and/or use a high pressure jet to unclog the main drain. Since I had already had my drain snaked, they gave me a discount on the camera work. Thank God for that; I saved $151. Pressure washing was not done since George (another Professional) found blockage due to roots coming from a Rose of Sharon tree I planted years ago right over the main drain line about 70 feet from the house. Dustin gave me an estimated price and said he would go back to the office and work up an exact price to replace about 7 feet of drain pipe. I told him I would need to call around for a couple more bids because that is how I roll. He told me they are not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but they do what they say and stand behind it. He sent me an email proposal in a couple hours and it was so much better than his original estimate I didnt even waste time calling around. I told him they had the job if they could get it done by next day. Here comes the most impressive part of the story. They were already booked up for several days, but I told him we had company coming from out of town and now they would be staying at a hotel so Dustin said he would call me back after he talked to the Boss, TJ Swan. (Forgive me for waiting a couple weeks before writing this review, Sir.) The Amazing Dustin called back and said they would get the job done next day, but couldnt tell me exact time. HA. That is no problem. Next day service is as good as it gets under these circumstances. They had another job to finish first and were down 1 truck necessary to move equipment and stone to the job. Dustin thought they would be at our home by early afternoon and arrived mid morning. The Service Techs, Shannon and Billy were incredibly pleasant and professional. I was so glad to be off work that day and spend it watching them work. Billy works his butt off and does it with a smile. Shannon is a Doctor with his precision back hoe skills as he dug around the Rose of Sharon tree and then dug under the tree to save it versus pulling it out to get to the affected section of pipe. He even had to do this with the pressure of not knowing where our water line was, because the people who were supposed to mark it didnt even do so. They just painted a circle around my water meter which is at the street and painted a line into the street; no lines into my yard towards the house. Anyways, Shannon and Billy are a joy to behold when they work. Dustin and TJ stopped by to see how things were going and assured me everything was going to be well. The consummate professional, TJ even gave me tips on helping the tree survive this major operation since the roots were being cut into. The job was completed by about 5pm with a 10 foot section being replaced, stone shoveled under and over the replaced pipe and dirt backfilled as neatly as possible. It looks great!!! OH. Almost forgot. The City Waste Water boss of Jeffersonville had to inspect the job prior to being backfilled and told us a backwater flow valve had to be installed. I was having a 2-directional cleanout put in anyways so Roto Rooter installed a multi-use valve which is a backflow and cleanout combined rather than two separate valves. That was an added cost to the job, but I believe it was a fair price given a last minute addition. I FULLY believe Roto Rooter, TJ Swan and the Amazing Dustin, did EVERYTHING possible to ensure I was COMPLETELY satisfied with their work and price. I am thrilled to know I found the BEST plumbing contractors in our area. Thanks to my wife choosing them in the first place is miraculous. To Charlie, George, Shannon, Billy, Dustin and TJ we say THANK YOU for ALL you do. Thank you for adding a tree root treatment and bottle of drain cleaning treatment on top of snaking the line in both directions after installing the affected main drain. There is nothing you could have done differently or better. We are grateful and telling everyone about you.

I have used this company before. I had a cast iron pipe in a drain in a rental unit badly clogged. Brian Kelty was the plumber they sent out, he got the system working, was very fair on pricing. Some companies would have charged several times what he charged. I would use them again.

This outfit is the real deal. They didn’t know it at the time, but Roto Rooter came out as a second opinion. Roto Rootor was more affordable and didn’t take unnecessary steps to try and squeeze more money out of me. The other business (name started with a D) estimated $1500.00 and was trying to cut drywall and all kinds of stuff. Roto Rooter blew them out of the water on price and productivity! I’m truly grateful for it too. Thank you all so much. Michelle , Billy & Greg were tremendously helpful and saved us money. As a family of five, saving money is a huge deal! AWESOME! We had a tshirt get sucked into our pipes for our pool and clog the entire system (dont ask...). These guys (specifically Billy and Stanley) came out within hours the SAME DAY to help us. Billy literally spent all day working on this for us to make sure we had our pool for the holiday weekend. Talk about dedicated! We are super pleased and know exactly who we will call when we need help in the future. (not with a t shirt though...those are banned from the pool area! haha)

Mike Willman was AMAZING today! Last night around 7 pm we realized we had a backed up pipe. We attempted to battle it ourselves to no avail. When the situation was handled for the night, we went to bed. First thing this AM we call our dads, and one suggested Roto Rooster; best decision EVER!!! Mike Willman was our plumber. He was in and out within 1 hour, cleared our pipe, was courteous , polite, clean, and all around the best plumber we’ve ever had. Nothing but great service and customer service from them. Javon came out today less than 2 hours after I called. He was very friendly and fixed my line blockage in less than an hour. Triple checked to make sure it wasnt going to back up again. I hate that others have had a bad experience with them because we have used them a few times and they were wonderful!
