The salesman did a great job showing us the options for our windows (color and style). I wish we could have had the same color inside like the outside. The main event was the installation. The three men working, two at a time, worked their butts off for three days to make sure the fit and sealing processes were adequate. Man, what a different look it gave our home. I am so pleased with my new windows! Josh and his coworker did an excellent job and had all my new windows in in one day as promised. They cleaned up the mess from the old windows and were pleasant and courteous at all times. They answered all my questions and explained the warranty and care of the windows thoroughly. I highly recommend then for your window needs. I am having cabinets done as well and I anticipate another job well done!

This may be lengthy, but I want to explain the situation fully. You will notice, I gave 4 stars because in the end it all worked out. But there is a story and a lesson learned here that I want others to know about.We wanted to replace our old slider with new double in-swing French doors as the slider was getting harder and harder to open and close and since the back of our house faces West, we get the full on heat of the sun right into our living room and our air conditioner struggles to keep up.We called Windows Plus to get a quote. The Sales Person was pretty new and really didnt have much door experience (he told us windows were his thing). He went through his spiel and showed us his demo. We were obviously very impressed with the low-E glass that insulates against heat and cold. He took some measurements of our existing door and we asked specifically if the new door would fit into the existing opening. He told us, twice that the new door would fit in the existing opening.He did have to call someone at his office several times to find out how to enter info into his quote generator properly. I would expect this for someone who is new so no big deal. After some haggling and a few more phone calls from the Sales Person to his co-worker, we reached a price we felt we could live with.Fast forward a couple of months and it was time to install. The installers were on time, very courteous and respectful of our home. I couldnt be happier with the install team.I was busy working upstairs when I heard the undeniable sound of a Sawzall, which made no sense to me, so I went to check it out. To my dismay, they were cutting into the wall and making the hole bigger. Upon questioning them, they seemed as perplexed as I was that they were having to make the hole bigger. One of them even saying we thought we would be done by 11, now its going to be 2 or 3. Fortunately, when the house was built, the opening was roughed in for a full 60x80 door, then reduced down to undersize the hole for the smaller slider door. They assured me that the integrity of the wall/opening would not be affected.That evening, I noticed that the living room was hot. I have temperature sensors in every room of the house and noted that it was 75 in the living room, even though the thermostat was set on 70. This is exactly what it was doing with the old slider, the new low-E thermal glass was supposed to fix that! I got my thermometer and measured the temp on the outside and inside of the glass and both were 105-110. Then, I noticed that the hinges were Satin Nickel, not the Bronze we had ordered.I called Windows Plus a few days later to discuss the matter. I owned the hinges because I missed that it said Satin Nickel on the quote. But the low-E glass was the main issue. They told me that the quote did not include the low-E glass. However, looking at the quote, there is no way for me to know that. All I knew is that we specifically asked for it (to be honest, it was the selling point). At first they tried to quote me to replace the glass, but it wasnt my fault, I shouldnt have to pay for it. The Sales Person had entered that and the hinges incorrectly.A couple of weeks later, they called me back and agreed to replace the glass, free of charge.They came Wed and installed the glass and we couldnt be happier. What a difference! At the peak of sun, the inside glass was cool to the touch.Lesson learned, make sure that the Sales Person quotes you exactly what you ask for. If anything looks wrong or you dont understand, ask for clarification.For Windows Plus, as I explained to the nice gentleman on the phone, I understand the Bill of Materials may make sense to you and your manufacturer, but to the customer it is confusing, repetitive and misleading. Maybe consider making two Bills of Material, one for the manufacturer and one for the customer, in laymans terms, so it is easier to understand. That way the customer does not find out too late that something is incorrect.

I just had 3 doors installed. The installers were GREAT! The installers were very nice and professional. I did have a very upsetting experience though. When talking to the salesman we told him we did not want the same kind of threshold that was on the original doors. We were told by the salesman we would get the kind of threshold we wanted. When the doors were installed the same kind of threshold was installed that was used with the original doors. When we called to complain, we were told that there was nothing that could be done about it. Don’t promise something during the sales pitch, then do something completely different while installing. Besides that I am very satisfied with my purchase.

It is very easy to adjust the screen to your liking (an important feature to me !)Your team was super nice, competent and professional ! Our first meeting for a quote with Matt was so enjoyable. He was down to earth and he brought product with him so that we could see and feel in person. He answered all our questions and those he didn’t know his manager got back to him in less than 10mins each time. The screen door for the sliding patio door is amazing! My husband and I took turns punching holes into the screen with a pencil and then rubbed the screen and watched as the hole went away! I don’t remember the name of the technology but with two cats and a dog this durable screen had me sold! Also they offer a TRUE lifetime warranty covering “acts of God” such as hail, tornado and other non controllable events. None of the other three companies we had out were able to offer that which means they really weren’t offering a lifetime warranty which seems shady. Windows Plus covers everything!On install day we had a call they were about 30mins away which gave us time to secure the pets and clear out around the patio door. He arrived on time and was friendly. He arrived at 9am and was finished around 1pm! I was very pleased how quick the work was done and also cleaning up the debris.

I must say that this company got our business because of its persistence.They initially came out and did their first presentation(about 1 1/2 hrs)and we deemed that it was going to be too expensive.They kept calling to come out to give them another chance at our business and after several tries,they came back to talk to us again.They sold us on the health aspects of doing a tub to shower only conversion and met us with an affordable plan.They were upfront about the timeline (which was going to be about 6-8 weeks) and after some time, just when we got to wondering if we had been jipped,they called us and said that they were ready to set our installation date.IN ONE DAY, our old tub was gone and our new shower installed.We love it!! It makes our bathroom look lightyears better and I am no longer frustrated when I enter my bathroom.I must give a shout out to the representative( which we later found out was his first sale) but I cant remember his name.He was very thorough and kind.The only thing I would suggest is some type of communication timeline that says what steps you are in such as your product is being made,your product has shipped,you will be getting a call soon,etc so that you arent thinking have these people taken my money and ran.Other than that,I would highly recommend!

Windows Plus is such an amazing company. From when Carter came out and took the time to show us all our door options, to the timeline around the installation, all the way to the final completion of the project there was always great communication. They showed up when they said and even got us installed 2 months earlier than expected - we knew there were supply chain delays but we were lucky that ours came early. The lifetime guarantee was such an amazing selling point and the relief we have now with quality doors is hard to explain after dealing with leaking doors and peeling exterior door frames. I couldn’t be happier!!

I got a new shower put in my tiny bathroom and I love it.My bathroom is really small and prior to the installation it was claustrophobic. It was also grimy and has been difficult to properly clean since moving in. I new that renovating the bathroom was a priority. My new shower has sliding glass doors and makes the room less dark and more comfortable to be in. The shower is safer than the previous tub/shower combo. I’m in love with my new shower and the job the workers did was great.My mom was there the majority of the time since I was at work and she helped me communicate with them if need be. They were nice to her and me when at home. When problems came up they were prepared to fix it. They also cleaned up after themselves.If something happens I know I can call them to get it fixed and that takes the stress off, especially as a first time homeowner.I highly recommend Windows Plus if you are looking for a bathroom renovation. Even if you are not sure, they are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Today, April 19, 2024, I had a new sliding glass door installed. The installers, Dallas and Doyle, were absolutely wonderful! They worked continuously until the job was finished and it made such a difference in my family room area. They were very professional in their work and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. I only regret I didnt have this done years ago! I would definitely recommend Windows Plus for anyone wanting a new patio door. Ive also had them install a walk-in shower and what a difference that update has made! If youre looking for either of these items for your home, I can highly recommend Windows Plus. Im sure you will be as pleased as I am.

I got a number of quotes before selecting a company and went with Windows Plus due to their excellent customer service and fair pricing. The communication from everyone at Windows Plus was wonderful, I never had to call and ask for an update or wonder when they were coming. The team completed the install of all 18 windows in less than two days. I had very old original windows and the team worked carefully to be sure the new windows were installed correctly. We could not be happier with the quality, customer service, and professionalism given by windows plus. Their crew were extremely polite, paid attention to detail, and even came back in the house to make readjustments, etc. once they were finished, they even hung new blinds for us in the garage that would have been difficult for us to install. In addition, they offered to reinstall the blind brackets to all of our windows. We decided to not rehang our blinds, but that was such a nice surprise! We did not expect that at all. They stayed late to finish the job and on top of that, installed the garage blinds. The sales rep that came out to our house was so patient and professional as well. I would recommend and most likely use them again. However, when they promise 6 to 8 weeks for delivery and install be prepared to wait as long as 15 weeks. They had to return twice to repair the bushing that holds the screen in twice. First time the wrong gasket was sent and finally the second time the proper gasket was sent and installed. The door itself is beautiful from fit and finish. I’m just upset over the time frame to fully complete the job. But in the end the job was completed and it looks great.

We chose the triple pane model to completely reduce the heating through ours, since part of the house gets serious sun in May-June-July- Aug- Sept. the heat lamp demo showed no heating on the inside when the lamp was on the outside. Good demo. We chose a slight tinted type, double hung.They said it would be about late Jan 2023 when they might arrive. Well in the last week of January they called to schedule installation---the windows were ready.They arrived about 9 ish, as expected, since they had to drive from Louisville to Lexington area. They went right to work. Since it was a really nice warm day (~65 to 70) all the windows were removed and new ones placed, sealed openings, added trim and throughly caulked all perimeter areas.They cleaned up very well.We are pleased with the product and the business. From the first phone call to completion of the 11 window installation we were treated wonderfully. The communication with WindowsPlus was a pain free experience. Jason came and worked with us in the area of ordering windows and we also discussed siding. Jason definitely thoroughly explains everything, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. The installation crew called when they were headed to our home. The crew consisting on Dallas, Brandon, Josh and Eli they introduced themselves to myself and my wife. They setup and got to work. They definitely worked as a team on a mission. They updated us on the progress of the job. Everyone on the crew had a great attitude even though they were working in some pretty chilly weather. Our home and yard was left in the same condition it was in when they arrived. We had both french doors replaced this week on the main level and to our basement with sliding glass doors with blinds, screens, and low E glass. Their work has amazing and done in one day. Josh was very meticulous and he and his crew did a fabulous job. They look amazing too!! No mess was left either.We reviewed numerous places before going with window plus and found they were the only company who had low E glass, enclosed blinds, and a lifetime transferable warranty.

Originally I wasnt happy with how long it took to get the windows compared to the quoted timeframe. The timeframe I was quoted was 8-10 weeks, actually time it took was 16 weeks, which was due to the manufacturer. I felt there could have been better communication or a better quote given. I addressed my concerns and was called directly by the owner, which to me shows that he cares about his customers. He was very receptive and took it as a learning experience to improve on, as far as giving a better estimate.The installation crew did a great job. They were hardworking and very efficient. No matter how the company is its always the actual crew doing the work that makes all the difference. I was highly impressed with the crew and I definitely feel they should get a raise or something. If I was Windows Plus I would not want to lose those guys.Our house has 20+ windows. The installation crew put all the windows in the first day, with all the inside work complete, and then finished the outside work the next day. Altogether only 2 days. They were working the whole time, even in the rain. They were very professional and efficient with their work.Overall I was highly impressed. Even with the delays I was impressed with how they wanted to better serve their customers. The owner even came out to the house during the install to apologize for delays and check on things.

The installation of replacement windows in our home was completed yesterday and we couldnt be happier. Carter was our salesperson and gave a super demo of the efficiency of their triple pane windows. Corey did the installation of the windows and wrapped the exterior wood with aluminum. He put down drop cloths in each room to lessen debris, swept up after he was done, removed the labels from each window, and cleaned them. He even reinstalled the brackets for our blinds. I wish all tradespeople were as conscientious. He is pleasant and considerate of our property. Our finicky cats even loved him! Thank you for your wonderful products and employees.

We bought our house back in May of 2019 as our starter home. We didn’t think much about the shape of the windows when we bought it, nor did we pay attention to the age of the windows. Price and location, as well as familial needs were our major buying points with the house.Once we moved in, and summer was in full swing, we noticed we weren’t keeping it very cool in the home, even constantly running our air on 70. I finally took a through look to find that not only were the windows the original windows the home had installed when it was built, but we couldn’t open nor fully shut them. AC and heat were sealing through the cracks, and the single pane windows offered no insulation.So we decided to replace them. Not only did our sales team do an amazing job going over everything (our first quote came from another company and the guy only spent 5 minutes in the house and took 3 days to get us the quote), but they spent time with us to explore their different products to find what suited our needs best, and gave us our quote before they left.Our windows were installed today, 3/11/20, by Brandon and his crew, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Their crew was polite, informative, and exceptionally helpful at answering all of our questions. The install was quick, they cleaned up very well after finishing up, and took time to ensure everything they weren’t meant to touch was still in order when they left.Because of the age of our house, by law they are required to advise us of the possibility of lead paint, and room the proper precautions of taping up and laying down plastic, taping off the yard and placing proper signage per law requirements.The windows are of great quality. We’ve already reduced the heat from our usual 73 to 69. The heat is holding very well in the home now.10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to replace their windows or install windows in a new home. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

After receiving 4 quotes for windows, we chose Windows Plus. They were not the cheapest option (not the most expensive either), but we liked that they were “local”, started as installers, and had a quality product with a good warranty (we also researched the window manufacturer). They replaced eight 1960s windows to match the others that had already been replaced by the previous owner (taking care to mitigate lead paint). The installation is where you will really notice a difference: our bay window is a masterpiece! Josh, Chris and Brandon really did an amazing job on that, and the other windows are no exception! Can’t speak to longevity yet, but we’ve had a few major storms already with no issues at all. I am not a paid reviewer, just a regular, perfectionistic customer who gives credit when it’s due. I am so glad I did business with Windows Plus.I am going to begin my review with the installation experience as bad installers can totally ruin a quality product experience. The Windows Plus installation team was incredible. They were punctual, professional, efficient, totally focused on their job at hand, and diligent about their cleanliness. In fact, they were so clean that I could not even tell they had been there. Great Job!Now you might ask how was the sales experience and price. Both were fine. What I liked about the sales person was that he listened and understood the main issue that I was trying to resolve - THE NOISE. And, since Window Plus had various types of windows with varying degrees of thickness and specializations, he was able to suggest a specific window type that would best fit my needs.Price is always a key decision factor. Window Plus was not the cheapest. Yet, prices were not that easy to compare as the windows recommended from each vendor were not apples to apples. However, as a result of my research, I felt that the product offered from Windows Plus was far superior. So, I did not flinch at paying a few dollars extra for a better quality window. And I was glad I did!So, did I notice a difference after the windows had been installed? Wow! You bet I did. My bedroom backed up to a busy street and prior to installing my new Windows Plus windows, I could hear the cars passing all day and night, especially during the morning rush hour. Well! Upon the moment they were installed, I noticed a dramatic difference. My room was sooooo quiet. I mean quiet. And I was finally able to get a great nights sleep and until 9am! I would recommend windows plus to anyone who is in need of windows. I had 17 windows replaced in an older home that had the original windows, 80 years old. The instillation crew was great, they did amazing work quickly and professionally. It only took them 8 hrs to replace all 17 in my home. The windows themselves are great, cut down on rd noise, efficient and easy to open. This has been the single best improvement Ive done to this home.

Ive read the reviews here and cant help but wonder if the folks writing them worked with the same company I did. Its not worth going into the gory details, but I had issue after issue. I had to track them down time after time as they were not at all proactive in terms of communication. It took almost six months for my work to be done (I was told initially it would be 4 - 6 weeks). They had no issue cashing my check in less than 12 hours, but have never responded to outstanding issues with my door (in over a month). Save yourself the headache and find another vendor. ADDITIONAL NOTE: The response below from WP ignores that I have outstanding issues that have to date NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. Yes, the owner did contact me after I initially questioned the time it was taking to get my door. There were additional issues for which I have never received resolution. ADDITIONAL ADDITIONAL NOTE: I have been contacted by Windows Plus and I believe the issue has been remedied. I recognize that he had been under the impression that the issues I had were resolved. I appreciate his follow up and willingness to make it right.
