    Just had CJs out to our house today. While what we called them out for turned out to not be plumbing related, they did actually find something else under the house that a previous plumbing company told us was no big deal but was now on its way to being Very Bad. They fixed it immediately and gave us tips on how to prep for the coming winter. Luke and Jayden were awesome, courteous, and recommended someone to help us with the original issue.     My name is Bernice, I had to have a plumber out to my house to check on a gas leak. After checking the line of my stove by the technicians that CJ’s plumbing and repair sent out they took care of the problem which wasn’t much but it stop the leak.     Awesome job! I did a whole home renovation. These guys did the whole job. The last day they stayed almost 12 hours to make sure everything was done! Mr. CJ came by because there was a complication. It’s obvious this company is from the old school of good quality work! Luke and Jakeb were a pleasure to spend an ENTIRE day with.     The other day I noticed a puddle on my floor and a water spot on my ceiling so it was clear I would need a plumbing professional.I havent had any plumbing issues so I simply started searching plumbers on google for Lafayette.First positive for CJs - someone picked up the phone on my first call. I tried a few others and had to leave a message. So in my experience it appears if you call CJs you will speak to someone. Thats not insignificant to me. Also, they made it out to my house reasonably quick as well!Second and most important positive - Nick and Luke came out, located the problem which was a little tricky to find and as of today looks to have fixed the leak. Nice guys, very professional.No complaints. I would recommend to others and would use again.Thx

    I chose CJs plumbing after seeing several friends recommend them. I was not disappointed in the least. They came out the same day to replace my leaking water heater, replace the p trap on my washer, and replace two outside hose connectors. In a house that was built in the 60s some modifications were needed to fit my new water heater in. These two guys worked hard and remained pleasant and professional. Great Job CJs in hiring great personnel. I highly recommend them and wont hesitate to call on them again if needed.

    I had a slow leak at a water supply valve for a toilet. I tried and tried to get it to stop leaking and I couldnt. I called CJs and she said they were booked for the day but they could get to me in the morning. I told her Id have to find someone else because I was in a bind and couldnt shut the water off to this leak without shutting it off to the entire house and my bucket fills up pretty fast. She said Let me see what I can do. Within an hour and a half I received a call from one of their technicians who came out and struggled himself to get the leak fixed. He wound up redoing the entire connection to the copper pipe and NOW it doesnt leak. Yea, it cost a lot for what he did but they came out and did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Thats worth something to me. Cant ask for much more. Whoever hires these plumbers with CJs should get a pat on the back. Theyre good at what they do. Oh yea did I mention the guy was HILARIOUS? Him and I were cutting up. For an unpleasant job we tried to make it as nice as we could! Thanks for the help, Kaden!

    I don’t usually leave reviews but I could not pass up the chance to say how pleased I am with this company. A year ago, Gabe crawled under my 89 year old Mother’s house to find a gas leak. The house is on piers and not very high but he was able to complete the job in record time I was so impressed that I asked for him to come back to fix her busted pipe. He returned with Michael who had the pleasure of crawling under this time and I could not be satisfied with the job. They are some of the best technicians that I have ever dealt with. Gabe remembered my mother and his genuineness truly touched me. I highly recommend them and CJ’s Plumbing! If you need a plumber who is reasonably priced and does exceptional work and is polite and courteous, look no further. They are the best!!!

    I called CJs because I had a main line blockage in my house, stopping up a bathroom, causing water to rise from the shower. Jadon and Luke came out the next morning, took a look at everything, and had the blockage cleared in less than an hour. They were incredibly professional and thorough, making sure to exhaust all options on trying to get the line cleared. After being burned by a different plumbing company over the same blockage, CJs guys were a lifesaver. 100% recommend.

    A friend of mine highly recommended CJ’s plumbing repair. My hot water heater went out the other night so I called and left a message. Blair the owner contacted me shortly and we discussed thoroughly the issues. He sent Travis his employee to my house at 8 o’clock the next morning to replace it. I also decided to replace my other 20-year-old original hot water heater and Travis accommodated this also. He was very professional, polite, courteous, friendly and patient explaining everything he was going to do and answering all my questions. I had to leave Travis and his helper alone at the house to finish the job & trusted them completely. He did a great job replacing both heaters and cleaned up very well.     First let me say that this company is a very reputable company. I had an issue caused by the first plumber which was what I considered major. Upon making a call to Erica and explained the issue she got the ball rolling. Mr CJ arrived (owner) and was so very professional in his manner, assured me it would be resolved. Tony (supervisor) arrived and assessed the issue and had Jakeb drop what he was doing and come over to complete the job. Jakeb is very professional and knows what he is doing. Caden was also there to assist. The job was completed to my liking and I would tell anyone looking for a great plumbing company to contact CJ’S Plumbing.     I had come in from offshore to find water flowing up through cracks in the concrete in my garage. I called CJs and Jakeb was dispatched and responded promptly even though it was the weekend.     Our tanked hot water heater went out after 14yrs. I called a couple different plumbers to see about installing/converting to a TANKLESS hot water heater. Come to find out not all plumbers will instal the tankless units.I called CJ Plumbers, Tony came out, he and I went up into the attic where my hot water heaters are located. We have somewhat of a unique situation, our attic has spray foam insulation, and the whole attic is sealed. To complicate things, the master bedroom hot water heater is at the farthest point away from the attic access point. Tony worked with the company that did the foam insulation to have some cut out, plus research to find us a tankless heater that is sealed, pulls fresh air from outside and not pull air from the attic. So in short he went far beyond just the normal sales call. Between the extra research/ordering and working with our insulation company to ensure we had the best tankless hot water heater, and was compatible with our unique situation.The installation team came out two days later, ZACH and BLAINE. These two gentlemen also went above and beyond, after draining the old tanked hot water heater, they had to remove it over many obstacles and a great distance to get it out of the attic. They were very careful not to damage the many air ducts and wires they had to cross over. I couldn’t be more pleased with their extra effort.ZACK and BLAINE removed the old unit and installed the the tankless unit in a single afternoon. They had to wait on us to get an electrical outlet installed and a roofer to come remove/install the new intake/exhaust vent.When those two things were completed, I called CJ’s Plumbing and within an hour or so ZACH and BLAINE returned to connect the and turn on the hot water heater. They were extremely professional, and did a fantastic job for us! We couldn’t be happier to have CJ’s Plumbing do this project for us, they will be the Plumbers we use next time one is needed for sure. Highly recommend them for any plumbing issue you may have.Thanks Tony for the sales and Zack and Blaine for a great install!

    Quick and professional as always. Weve had them out 3 times now and each time they were awesome! I called today for an appointment because we didnt have hot water, they were booked till tomorrow afternoon but ended up being able to squeeze me in today (thank God). Jakeb was the plumber that showed up (there was another guy but I didnt get his name), he was able to diagnose our problem in under 5mins of being here and immediately got to work changing the heating element, he was done in probably 30min. He was even kind enough to accept a flower from my child and made her day. I cant recommend them enough!! Nothing but good things so far!

    We had a very untimely faucet leak, with a long awaited trip at risk when our faucet broke and started pouring out water.     We had a water leak into our bedroom that we didn’t know where it was coming from. We called CJs and they sent out Mike and Paul to look for the leak and within 10 minutes they figured out where it was coming from. Our house was built in the 60’s and back then they used what was called a drum trap. The drum trap had rusted out and was causing the water to drain into our bedroom. I scheduled them to come out and completely change out my tub and properly fix the drain. They stayed until 7:30 at night to make sure the tub was completely installed that same same day. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and kindness. We will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing needs. Mike and Paul are a valuable asset to the company. Great job!!

    Excellent service came out right away too fix a problem. Took the time too explain every option for repair !!!Jalen and his coworker came out and assess a leak and found out it was a water pipe in the slab . They quickly came up with a solution said they would work up and estimate the next day I got a call and was not available that day for the repair. The following day I called CJ Plumbing office and in a couple of hours they showed up at my door with the quote and started this same day . They were very polite and explained everything as they went about repairs. They had one curve ball throwned at them but was able quickly figure out a reroute of my water feed into the house through a crawl space and closet, then up into the attic and get it done . These guys do not play around there hustling the whole time too get it done in a matter of a few hours . Good work Jalen and CJ s Plumbing I will use them from now on.

    I have had a persistent problem with my guest bathroom sink not draining. Water would backfill each time I turned my air-conditioner on. I had two separate plumbing companies out to fix the problem in the last year. After each time the problem persisted. I contacted CJs Plumbing because they had 4.9 out of 368 reviews. Andrew (Drew) diagnosed the issue immediately and explained what the problem was with confidence. He discovered the problem was caused by the runoff from my air-conditioner which was not plumbed correctly to code. The issue cause Algae buildup in my pipes caused by the air-conditioner runoff. Not only did Drew clear the pipes he also corrected to pipes to code from my AC runoff. Then Drew also left me access to my runoff pipe treat my pipes each month so that this problem will not continue to happen. I’m so happy I had CJ’s Plumbing and Repair fix my year old problem. I have already told two acquaintances about my positive experience.

    I had major main line issues that happened around 9:40pm on a Saturday night - two bathtubs were spewing up sewage water and a toilet was spraying water out at its base. I called CJs and they dispatched their on call plumber Jake. Though it took two visits, Jake was able to figure out what was going on despite some oddities from my house (house was built in the 50s and had a major add-on done in the 80s that complicated things with the pipes). Jake did a great job with things and, over 24 hour laters, everything is running perfect. Erica who answered the phone several times was also great, especially considering the hours I called. I was also impressed with some of the high tech Jake was using - these guys are definitely up to date on their tools! I would definitely use CJs again!

    My experience was a little different. I didnt spend a single cent with CJs Plumbing Repair. I called with questions about a toilet flange, and was willing to make an appointment. I mentioned that I was trying to do it myself, and Blair was kind enough to explain what I needed to do. I sent a picture of the flange, and he told me that I can get it done. He was right. A company that puts the customer first, behind the dollar, is a company that I will absolutely do business with. Anytime I have a plumbing issue, there is no other plumber that I will call.     My neighbors reported smelling gas. When the gas company came they found a small leak at the connection to my water heater which is outside. As the meter kept running after it was turned off, they removed my meter. I called CJs that night. My water heater was old so told them I wanted to replace it. They were at my home at 8:15 the next morning, installed the new water heater and found the other leak. A big one! I never smelled it because of where it was. The rusted pipe was replaced and they were done before noon. They have done work at my Dads and at both of my sisters homes, I was so glad they recommended CJs.     Two experiences have made us lifelong customers. The first during the freeze last winter. We had a pipe burst in the ceiling of our covered patio. No one wanted to come out in that weather...we were pretty desperate. But C. Js accepted the job, dispatched a couple of clean-cut, pleasant and knowledgeable service men, who quickly determined what and how to solve the problem. In forty-five minutes they were on their way and we couldnt have been happier with the results which included, under the circumstances, a very reasonable rate..The second experience occurred just recently when the plumbing demons struck our house with a vengeance.A leak in one bathroom and faulty toilet in another, a broken garbage disposal, a broken pipe, and a host of minor repairs to faucets and such.     By far, the best plumbing service call Ive experienced, compared to three other companies in the Lafayette area. My I thought I fixed my clogged pipe problem with a snake, but it didnt work. Blair came out to my home, on time, and diagnosed the issue instantly. He was upfront and transparent about what the job would entail, helped me fix what I started dismantling, cleaned my pipes multiple times to make sure they were as clean as could be, and went above and beyond by cleaning the mess created from the clogged pipes! There had been another company that had been by here 3 times and never got a thing accomplished or did as they said.     A couple months back I had a leak spring up in my front yard and it happened on Thanksgiving day no less! CJs Plumbing was not the first plumber I called as I had a history with another local plumber; however after the first plumber only came and shut off my water and said they could return Monday that was unacceptable and thats how I found CJs. Blair was the specific technician that responded to my call and not only did he come out on a holiday but he was prompt, polite, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner.     Had this business come fix both shower levers in my home. First visit was great, or so I thought because 5 months later I discovered one of the shower levers was leaking water. My loss since it was over 30 days from time of service. I called them again to come right this, second chance. Repairman was suppose to come between 8am-12pm. 11:30am I get a sorry call from their desk, rep is running late Ill call you back with an update. 1:30pm I havent received a call so I call. 2pm tech is on his way.Tech investigates problem. Believes the mixing valve to be the problem but suggests replacing mixing valve and cartridge. Travels out to get parts. Returns with only the valve because supplier did not have cartridge. Valve does not fix the leak, NOW tech has to travel out A SECOND TIME at my expense (thus increasing labor time) to a further out supplier. Leak appears to be fixed after replacement. (But I will be inspecting every day to make sure. Ill have to take my other shower levers apart to make sure its not leaking behind the wall.1. As a customer I agreed to a 4hr window of my time for them to arrive, but 6hrs was taken up.2.Them not having the needed parts cost me more than it needed to be (I understand they cant have all parts on hand). The tech not getting all possible parts cost me greatly as all his travel time is charged. Even though the tech mentioned they commonly replace both valve and cartridge, his time on site was extended by only getting 1 item and later going for the second.3. The final invoice is not itemized, didnt like that. There is no indication on what the hourly rate was or the cost of the parts. Tech ended up only replacing the cartridge and left with the new valve he picked up on his first visit.4. Tech mentioned the American standard cartridge was a $65 part. Found exact one at lowes for $12.99. Summary, I paid $350 for a $12.99 ($65) part replacement.My experience was distasteful, but that was just my experience. Others will have different ones.Update: One of the owners followed up and let me know that they absolutely care that everyone has a great experience. I am surprised and impressed by this gesture. We came to an agreement on what we thought was fair. With this level of care they have shown even post the service work, I will definitely be using their service again.

    I knew I needed to find a different plumber when I got a quote from another plumber in town of over $900 to simply re-set two toilets in my home that were rocking and had leaky wax seals. (Yes, over $900 for less than $20 in parts and less than 2 hours of work.) A good friend of mine recommended CJs and Im super glad I called. They came out fast, did the job quickly and correctly, and charged a completely reasonable amount to do the work. Tyler & Keenan were hospitable and professional. A few weeks later I noticed I had an outdoor faucet leaking, so I called them back out to replace that and install my garbage disposal I never got around too. Same prompt and professional service.     Edit: I just received a call explaining and very much appreciate the effort that took. Google won’t let me delete the review so I’m at least changing the rating.I went to church with this family. My dad had always used them and so I followed the tradition. My dad stopped using CJs when they cut through and damaged some things at his office. I called for a quote and gave an idea of what I wanted to do. I was told to call the city first and then call back. Which I did. In the meantime, I convinced my dad to switch back to CJs. He booked them for a job today - and I also called today for a water line repair and to finalize the quote on the previous call. Not only is it a hassle that the office can’t schedule the appointments - if you miss the call hours later, forget reaching them even if you call back immediately. I was standing at my dad’s house while they ran a new line and was told they had no other call and nothing to do after that job. When I called the supervisor to follow up on the quote request - he told me they were too busy for this kind of job and then did not stay to repair the water line which was a little plumbing job, nothing major. It’s now 3:30 in the afternoon, after I have been off work for the entire day, with not a single thing accomplished and actually lying instead of maybe just saying “I don’t want to” in addition to several weeks wasted when he could have said he didn’t want to do the job when I first called.     I called my landlord this morning about my toilets not flushing and water staying in my bathtub. Well he called cjs plumbing to come see what’s going on. In no time they sent Jacob out here to fix out issue. Jacob looked around at a few things and went on too the roof and and put some high powered machine in the pipes that was able to reach whatever it was stopping my drains up. The guy was very friendly, polite, funny, and professional at the same time. Anyways I’m no time he had my problem fixed!!! Thank you Cjs for sending Jacob! I will request and refer Jacob and cjs to everyone! These guys are the real deal!

    Had CJs repair a toilet drain pipe that was too low in the concrete and a outside faucet with no water flow. After 2 1/2 hours of work, the repairs were fixed. The only problem was the $650 charge. Before the the drain pipe repair was done, the guy said he could secure the toilet without having to repair the drain and would cost less than the other fix, or repair the drain which was a $300 to $400 repair. That means it cost $250 to replace an outside faucet and the 8 in pipe that screwed into the wall. Just seemed like a lot for the time worked. Other than that, they did a great job.

    If I could give 6 stars I would.We had just moved into a new house and found out the water lines had leaks all over. The first plumbing company (which I will not name) made severalattempts to fix the leaks but were unsuccessful. We finally let them go and asked Blair to please take a look. Blair had a full schedule already but still managed to make it out same day we contacted them. He showed up close to 10 p.m! No one likes to work late but he went above the call. This is the type of service I appreciate. Pick them for your plumbing needs.

CJs came out pressure jetted the lines and ran a camera into the main line, where he found that the main line had sheard right at the houses foundation.     Jakeb check and inspected the gas lines. Found that the only thing was needed done was the supply line to the stove needed to be tightened. Centerpoint still made him do a pressure and a permit for inspection. Which Im thankful he was honest with us letting us know it was not need but he had to do. He set up everything and we will hopefully have gas by the end of the day.
