    On May 7, 2024, ARS came to my property on time started work on my sewer line to install a clean out check valve. They dug about 8feet deep. They took about a half day between the rain and sunshine to complete the installationThe crew was friendly and knowledgeable when I asked questions.Afterwards it rained heavily all night. The valve worked and there was now sewer backup in my basementThank you ARS for a job well done!!

    I cant possibly say enough about the professional the sure diligence and work performed about this technician. He performed beyond just the job,and cared about all aspects surrounding completion. When my next project comes up I would be sincerely grateful if you would assign him to perform the repairs. Again he was great and knowledgeable as well as efficient at his work. And went above and beyond what was necessary. I had another tech performing work in the general area and left a small mess. He took on himself to clean up not only what he had to clean-up but cleaned up his also. To say I was satisfied isnt near,how I felt. Dont lose him,hes a great employee as well as a great individual.     Another great ARS experience! Checked out furnace with $69 tune-up visit. Very happy with the results and the ARS-installed furnace. They did a warranty repair at one point with no questions or hassles, fixed what needed to be fixed including getting us back on the schedule to complete the work promptly once parts arrived for AC unit. They have been top notch, high value, no hassle for us since we bought the new HVAC system 7 years ago! Highly recommend!!

    Orlando, your ARS craftsman, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He called before arriving to tell us that traffic was backed up on his route and that he would be late to arrive. He was careful not to track in dirt and left the places he worked at least as clean as when he arrived. This is the second time Orlando has served us and we would be happy to have him come every time.

    ARS came out and put a system in about three years ago. We were having troubles throughout the years with the unit keeping up with the weather after a few times of having them come out and we could not figure out what was going on. They took my heat pump and my furnace out, and put a heat pump in that was twice as big and a bigger furnace and free of charge. Thereā€™s not many companies out there that will make things right they called Me on a Tuesday and asked if I would be home Thursday when they showed up they installed that new system In one day and itā€™s worked perfect ever since I highly recommend this company. They are very easy to work with especially for being as big as they are.

    Had a new Rheem heat pump and air handler installed after the old one quit. Had an issue with cold blowing out of the unit and not in the ducts due to an inexperienced instalation team. Contacted ARS and they immediately set another installation team out who promptly corrected the previous issue. The speed of which ARS handled my issue warranted the 5 star review. They were prompt, convenient, and courteous.

    Trever did a wonderful job servicing our AC. He sowed me how to change the batteries in the thermostat. When done he went thru all the results and assured me our ac is doing well.     Kane was the BEST serviceman I think Iā€™ve ever had!!! Was extremely courteous, knowledgeable & very helpful. Was here to service my A/C unit for the summer. He was extremely efficient. I donā€™t remember any serviceman ever completely opening my outside unit to hose, clean & wipe everything down. It looks like new! He had to replace a part (unit 10yrs old) but he thoroughly explained what & why. He opened my furnace to check on the motor (replaced a belt at no charge). I was just very satisfied & felt like things were in good hands. A great experience overall!

    Drew, aka ā€œSmiley,ā€ is as easy to work with as a cool breeze for a summer sailor: smart, polite, with a quick laugh that is easy on the ears. Plus: heā€™s a plumbing wonk underneath that great guy persona. He found the issue behind the slow flushes and unsightly bowl was good old Indiana hard water and scraped the bowl of calcium and lime buildup that was hampering the water pressureā€”hence the slow and incomplete flushes. He recommended CLR to dose both tank and bowl, and I have a toilet that looks brand new again! All this for $109!

    Logan gave an awesome presentation, which included a diagram of a 2 story home( like ours), and how the Hvac system components work to cool and heat the house. Neither of the other 2 companies had a diagram like that. Last but certainly not least, the price ARS quoted thru Logan was less than I expected. The next day, the installer were awesome. The were prompt, courteous, and professional. They did a great job! My wife and I are thrilled. Thanks ARS!!!

    I returned home from the hospital to a hot house. I called ARS and they sent someone out the next day. ARS had inspected my condo in December and repairs were suggested then. I had forgotten this fact. The solution was to keep repairing this 18 year old furnace/air conditioner or install a new one. I went for a new one. This was not in my plan but it was the better choice. The new one was installed the next day without any problems. Now my house is cool ready for this 90Ā° weather. The installer worked efficiently, professionally and friendly. They knew their job and did a fantastic job. I would hire them again.

    I called them in the morning about a clogged sewer main, they came same day in the afternoon. Very nice technician Austin came out and quickly cleared my clogged sewer main. Afterwards they sent another technician to run a camera down my sewer line to inspect it and make sure there was no issues with my pipe. I was very impressed by the quick service and workmanship. Everything is working great now. Highly recommend this company to anyone with sewer issues. They are very fast and friendly to deal with. I will definitely call them again if I have any other needs.

    Called Mr. Plumber first bc they were open on the 4th of July but the service guys were very shady. The guy quoted me close to $500 for a main drain clean out without even opening the main drain to look inside but knew the clog was coming from the street wayā€¦ smh! ARS is normally my go to company because they are affordable, the technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate the service also comes with a free camera inspection. The service technician today was great and said the clog was coming from the house, not the street. Thank you ARS !!

When you come back to check on the furnaces, this ARS representative was much more smarter than the one from the past he explained to me what he was going to be doing with the AC units and explain to me that someone would come back in the fall to do the furnaces. It is concerning for homeowners, seniors, single parents, families, organizations, really anyone who obtains work and repairs etc and later have they problems and need it fixed again.The salesperson, Logan Fink, a lifetime Greenwood resident and Home Depots direct link from sale to completion; was fabulous, professional and honored his promises via a phone call the entire process.Relieved to have AC and the job competed as agreed. These days for me anyway, recently having received jobs half done, no follow through, never touching base actively with installers, jobs that had to be redone, and even one that needed outside intervention; several daunting experiences. This process for my AC has been refreshing.Greenwoods pride runs deep in our roots of the folks who built this community and we beneifit we from that hard work and pride. We who have benefitted, desire to keep our community for future generations with that same pride and work ethics. Workmanship has been spotty and shoty for several years around this area as we read one complaint after another. If Greenwoods Mayor had a program and a list of recommendations for work ethics etc. I would definitely nominate this team!!!Again to a job well done and a gracious thank you!!!

    We have had a home service plan with ARS for 22+ years. They have always done a good job of maintaining our HVAC systems and making them last longer.Plumbing not as good of experience-we feel they are expensive for services performed and service people are always pushing new plumbing accessories like fixtures and toilets in stead of fixing the problem. When they do fix something, itā€™s almost more expensive than installing something new. Our last plumbing service, the plumber removed an inline filter which was installed when the home was originally built and replaced the toggle for the water line. It literally took him 15 min. $500 later and a new refrigerator, the water line wasnā€™t working. Luckily the installation people for the refrigerator found a work around and it works perfectly! I felt like we tossed $500 out the window for all the good it did.

    Josh Nordmeyer did a great job of checking out and resolving a slow drain system in my basement bathroom! Before he completed any repairs, he called to let me know his diagnosis and approximate cost for repairs. He freed up the drain lines and water started flowing again! Once the water was flowing, he tested the toilet and saw my toilet was leaking from the wax seal. He pulled the toilet, placed a new wax ring, reset the toilet and then tested for water leaks.     I am skeptical of HVAC companies because I have some insight into how they work. Technicians are under great pressure to find something to repair or upsell the customer. They only issues that I had on this experience is the scheduling, I called on Saturday night and was scheduled for First available slot on Sunday morning. I contacted Ars at noon to let them know that no technician had , they apologized and said Some will be out by2:30, still no technician and then called back at 4:30, and they said someone will contact me within 30min, I waited until 6:30 and I called back and let them know that ,and the Representative he would re schedule for the Monday morning, I lost a whole day! I spoke with two different Representatives, and the both were, very professional and polite. ARS arrived on time this morning and my issues were resolved. The technician called at 8:15 am, stating he could arrive within 1.5 hours. Tech Isaac P. gets an absolute A+ and highest recommendation. Company/call center gets a C at best.

    Taking off one star because the original rep I spoke to on the phone confirmed a same day appt as well as a total price of $109 to have the shower drain cleared. The appt was not for the same day and I only found this out after waiting almost 2 hrs for a call from a technician to call the general number back and be told ā€˜oh, that was wrong - they shouldnā€™t have told you that because the technicians are done for the dayā€™ they were able to schedule me for the next morning - which was fine, however, I double checked at the time that rate of $109 for the shower drain clearing was still accurate and was told it was - I also specified that I did not want to pay more than that and was assured of this. Fast forward to today - Drew arrives promptly at 9 am, wears boot covers in our home (which was much appreciated) is very polite and goes to look at the shower drain and provide us an estimate - he quotes $321 for the shower drain clearing - which is $200+ over what I was told on the phone. I apologize to him and tell him we will have to pass because we were told $109 on the phone and $321 is not in our budget - I also told Drew that I double checked the rate on the phone as well. Instead of leaving, Drew offers to speak with his supervisor and see if he can offer us that rate. Luckily they were able to honor that rate and Drew spent the next hour clearing the drain (our house is 80+ years old) - and had to use two different augers but eventually the drain the cleared (yay!). Drew was incredibly conscientious and upbeat and also cleaned the shower as he finished up - which was much appreciated and a very nice touch. I would absolutely use ARS again as their plumber / service technician Drew went above and beyond to honor the price, take care of our issue and be respectful and thoughtful of our home - however, I had to take off a star for the misquoted pricing (2x by different reps) over the phone.
