We had a lot done today by the Plumbing and Air Service Company . It was time for our yearly inspections on the plumbing, and the heat and air system they had installed for us previously. We also asked that they come do estimates today on more work that we want completed in our home.Taylor and his team did a fantastic job! They took the time to thoroughly explain everything, worked with us to make it as affordable as possible and were very genuine and professional.I wish I had the names of everyone, because they were all impressive. My first time using The Plumbing and Air Service Company, and I can say they are the BEST service company I have used in the Greensboro area. We had a significant plumbing issue and they were quick to respond and diagnose the problem with extreme professionalism, skill and knowledge. They dispatched a full team to take care of the issues, and delivered amazing results. Everyone from Tim the internal team lead, to each of the 5 techs that were involved with the repair and diagnostic services, communicated completely and very quickly throughout the entire process, which is greatly appreciated when having critical work conducted in your home. This company is truly the best service provider I have interacted with in many years. I’m glad there is still a company that values excellent customer service and provides excellent work and communication. If more than a 5 star review were possible these guys would get it! I called at about 10:30 on Mon Dec 23, fearing that I would be unable to get someone to take a look at my misfiring heating system. There was a little confusion, but Kiara, the technician arrived at by 2:30, as planned. Kiara assessed the situation quickly, and explained the problem with my system clearly. Making the process as quick and as painless as a repair can be. Everything was fixed within a few hours. I am very happy with the outcome.

I have been very impressed with the professionalism and service I received. I put in a request to have my AC looked at when it stopped running. I had a callback within an hour and technicians at my house 45 minutes later. Kiara and Damien were very thorough and provided pictures of everything they found. We had to schedule for a whole new system and they were able to do it the next day. Going without air in the summer is miserable so I was pleasantly surprised they could get to it so quickly. The installers were Samuel and Jesus who were excellent. We also scheduled duct cleaning. Ricardo and Ryan came out to do that and were just as good as everyone else. Every interaction has been positive. I wouldn’t take a star away from this review, but if I had one thing to say that wasn’t positive was that we found two dings in the walls and one on the trim. They will be easy to fix and everything else was so positive that I don’t mind fixing them. If the owner reads this please note the 6 names above as being excellent representatives for your business!

I have done business with this company for many years now. I just bought a new home and needed the water heater replaced and they were the first company that came to mind. This review is more for Jacob Clevinger than anything else. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. His communication to me about his work was succinct and clear. He needed to improvise a solution for some electrical and pipe configurations and he did so with ease and knowledgeable precision. Once they were complete, the job site was cleaned and little remained indicating the level of work that had taken place. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this company and, if you can, request Jacob for the installation.

Chris reviewed a variety of options with us and we were able to make an informed decision involving us doing the work we can to remodel our bathroom to bring down the cost of the work. We chose to do the demo and reno ourselves and have Plumbing and Air Service do the plumbing using higher quality materials than are available to the general public at big box stores. But because we are doing some of the work within our areas of expertise, our total cost is a little more than a straight faucet repair. And we had the option of having the Chris do the work himself (probably with a helper) rather than making an agreement with Chris and having someone else wed not met show up to do the agreed upon work.

Customer service was great. Came out same day my AC broke down! They were on time and communicated when they were on the way with a 30 minutes heads up. They inspected my entire unit and gave great detail on what was wrong with it. They had the part I needed in their van, and fixed it pretty fast. I was a bit sticker shock on price but the lead technician gave me several service options and helped me with final price I could afford. All around super professional! They dont scam or lie to you and are very honest people who try to help you the best they can. I would 100% use them again.

**Making an edit to my initial review due to a major issue that I want to make sure everyone is fully aware of**7/18/24: When I originally went with this company, obviously the costs wasn’t cheap so they offered financing. It seemed painless, loan was for a 10 year term and rate wasn’t bad. Monthly payment not bad either. No complaints! The company they used is called “Service Finance Company”. I had a few months where I didn’t make the monthly payment on time. Note; I ALWAYS made my payment, never was more than just a few days past the due date (due to how our paychecks are cut) and all of the sudden out of the blue, simply out of nowhere this company decides to take a lien out on our home. I could understand if we were 30, 60 or 90 days past due, but that was NOT the case with us.I ended up looking into this company a bit deeper (obviously too late now) and they have had several reports for doing this. It is beyond ridiculous and for that reason I am knocking this rating down from a perfect 5 star to 4 star. I understand this issue is related to the finance company and not Plumbing & Air Service, however, they are responsible for picking this shady company. I plan to file a complaint with BBB regarding this as well, but just note to anyone thinking of financing a new unit…do your homework ok the finance company and don’t just take the businesses word for it. -Original Review:My hvac system just hit the 15 year mark and after several repairs over the last 3 years, I knew my time was limited. Unfortunately in February 2022, it all went out beyond repair. Something I have dreaded for a long time. I received 4 quotes on a new system. Two of them were from people who worked for themselves (1-2 man crew), the third a larger company near me and this company who is roughly 20-30 minutes away. While I did receive slightly lower quotes from the smaller crews, after working with Guy and going back and forth on a few things I had more than a handful of reasons to choose this company over all others.The crew who came out to install everything was top notch and while I can’t remember all of their names, Ricardo was fantastic and you can tell he really knows what he’s doing. To me for what all this company has to offer plus the customer service/customer engagement I’ve received so far along with the seamless process of getting everything all set up, I encourage anyone to consider this company.

These guys are great - stellar customer service, friendly, and very quick install for our EV charger. We have since also had wiring work for a new stove install. The electricians were great each time.The only downside has been communication with the scheduling/communication side of things with the office itself. For instance, it took some hounding to get the paperwork we needed for our EV rebate. We were told 4 or 5 times that wed get a call on a specific day to follow-up on the process and no call would come. Or wed schedule something for a Monday, and partway through the day with no follow-up, wed call and find out were on the calendar for Wednesday. Wed be told wed get someone out in the morning, and call after lunch to find they were coming in the afternoon. Ultimately the work was done well, by really friendly people, but it is frustrating to have taken a morning off work, for instance, and to have a no-show because something was rescheduled and not communicated (multiple times).

At no time did I feel pressured to decide right then and there on how I wanted to proceed which for me is a big thing.It encourages me to do business when I am not pressured.4 stars as the method in which P and H schedule technicians to arrive at homes is too loose. My experience has been that it us not unusual for a technician to not arrive within the given time frame and there are no updates from the office regarding the change in the scheduled arrival time.

So far so good. I was calling around for plumbers and they came out same day. Damien was great. Very thorough and knowledgeable about Joe Shmoe DIY janky plumbing and outdated electric issues we are having. He was here for about 1.5hrs. He took his time looking at and explaining everything. When he had questions, he got right on the phone to his supervisors, videoed with them to show them what was going on, and get thier reccomendations. They even answered a few questions for me. We discussed all options and decided on the best method of repair. He did not try to sell my father and I the most expensive repair option. He did not try to pressure or hurry us into making a decision to do the repairs with them. I absolutely hate it when trades people see an elderly man and his daughter and pull that! Right back out my door they go! And, they get a horrible Google review from me! Damien did not want any money up front. Payment on completion of the job. I like that because a lot will try to collect payment then do a shoddy job or you have to chase them down. We decided to have them do the plumbing and the electrical work. Were excited to get it taken care of. They are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday next week. Another plus! Not two weeks or a month later. We decided to get the 1 yr membership which has a 20% discount that was applied to the work we just scheduled. That saved us $800. So, its already more than paid for itself!

I wanted to add a whole house generator system in both my daughter and sons homes. So I contacted Generec, who inturn had Pumbing and Air Service Company contact me. Damian Boles came out and went over everything at both homes. He did an outstanding job and very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions from everyone. We are on the schedule now for next week and hopefully the installation goes as good as the initial site visit and quoting procedures did.Again, thanks to Damien because he did an exceptionally great job and was a pleasure to work with.H11/19/2024. Plumbing and air was actually a choice I made through a friend who had this company dispatched to her home about a month ago. I had an issue with a shower leak and crack in the pipe. Josh was very informative of the process what needed to be done what was not done correctly in the first place by prior service and was a pleasure to have in the home in general. Him and his colleague removed the shoes prior to entering unprompted. I thought that was very respectful. Overall great job quick and efficient. Shared a couple military jokes and even got my water pressure to my enjoyable standard. 10/10 recommend.

I contacted The Plumbing & Air Service Co.Technician Hunter and Taylor came to my home that day( Tuesday 24th, 2024 ) They both examined and tested my system, determined the issue, Gave me a price and Hunter came back the next day ( Wednesday 25th, 2024 ) and my unit was fixed up and running within 45 minutes. The Cost, Less than $400.00 saving me over $2,000.00 quoted by 1 other company2 of which never bothered to call me back or even show up.I highly recommend this company and will call them again if I need plumbing, electrical or Air and heating issues fixed.I called 4 different companies to fix my AC unit, two responded.One wanted $1,033.00 for a $57.00 control board $400.00 for a Capacitor and another $500.00 for another Capacitor I didnt need and with labor cost they were going to charge me $2,400.00 total. Zachary was a little later than the start of the 4hour appointment window. We did receive a text telling us he would be delayed though. He called soon after to let us know his estimated arrival time. He was even careful to make sure our pets didnt get out when he needed to go out to his truck to retrieve something. After the job was over he cleaned up the area where he worked as well. Our salesperson Corey Hoots was very professional. This company has a great marketing team - very effective sales tools, uniform and vehicle wrap. We signed up for the full boat package. I was not impressed with the financing - 0% interest for 12 months was initially discussed, but a high rate (21% as I recall), multi-year financing was what was ultimately offered (even though we have excellent credit). The financial outfit is apparently a separate entity, so this company has no control over that. However, I would suggest that they shop for a new financial partner. We opted to forego the financing option.Overall, very impressed with Corey and we purchased their premium offering.

Chris and a crew of two, Patrik and Tyler, replaced the Quest pipes under the house. They ran new lines from all the sinks through the flooring to connect to the new pipes in the crawl space. They also ran new lines from the commodes through the flooring. They also redirected the pipe for the refrigerator. They worked on this huge project for over six hours.Chris and Patrik and Tyler were all professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and diligent in their work. We are very pleased with their expertise and attention to detail. They did a terrific job!

He explained everything he had inspected and every thing was working well. I appreciate his kindness as well.February 28, 2024. Keith Goins came out to inspect my HVAC system as well as all of the other equipment associated with the HVAC. He is always so cheerful, friendly, kind, and respectful. He instructed me on how to set the temperature on my system and he set it up so that the emergency heat will engage when the temperature drops below freezing. He also installed surge protectors, more security for meFebruary 4, 2024. Brennan Bestpatch was absolutely fabulous! I was worried sick because of a leak and resulting mold. Brennan checked everything out and there was damage that would definitely need repair. I was so afraid that it would cost me a lot of money for the repairs, but he referred me to a company that specializes in those types of damages. There will be no cost to me and they will deal with the insurance company. Also, I was not charged for the visit since the original work is under warranty. Brennan was so kind, considerate, and understanding. He truly cared about the situation, my feelings, and my well-being.January 25, 2024. James was great. He was kind, and friendly and explained everything to my satisfaction. He took pictures of his work, which I think is a great idea. James made me feel valued as a customer and friend.November 22, 2023. Richard did great as usual. He was on time, and finished the job quickly. He was friendly, kind and treated me as a valued customer and friend.October 20, 2023. Richard finished setting up my generator and tested it. He also installed a carbon monoxide detector. He was friendly and efficient. My generator is now up and ready for the next power failure.October 18, 2023. Richard came out to finish setting up my generator and to do a test run on it. Unfortunately, the gas company had not connected the gas lines with the gas tank, so the test run could not be completed. Richard advised me to call the propane company and tell them that they need to make that connection so that my generator can be up and running. He assured me that as soon as the lines were connected, he would come out and do what is necessary to get the generator up and ready. Richard was professional, kind, considerate and explained things to me in terms that I could easily understand. He made me feel valued as a customer. I trust him.October 9, 2023. I had my HVAC , water heater, pipes and all of my duct work cleaned and sanitized. It was all done by 5:30! Excellent teamwork Everyone was professional, courteous, kind and considerate. They treated me with respect. They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I now feel safer knowing that I will have heat this winter, I will have hot water, my pipes are not leaking and my duct work is clean and has things in place that will prevent the mold from coming back. Feeling safe and having staff that are kind and considerate are very important to me.October 6. Allan and Damien came out today to assess my HVAC. They were kind and respectful, and after they completed the inspection they explained the issues with the HVAC. They also found that my water heater is rusted and leaking and pipes were corroded. I had dealt with another company regarding the water heater and that other company did nothing about it. Needless to say, The Plumbing and Air Service will be installing a new water heater, HVAC and replacing the corroded pipes. The price is reasonable considering how much is to be done. The work is scheduled for Monday. I am so glad I found The Plumbing and Air Service, they make me feel safe and I trust them.

All the drains in my house were backed up. I called the Plumbing & Air Service Company to see if they could send someone to clear the drains. They sent Chris Busick almost immediately. Chris came and started working to correct the problem. He advised me of the cost for the work and kept me apprised of his progress. He told me that he was having a very difficult time clearing the clog. He was diligent and experienced and kept trying! He was able to discover that a back flow valve door to the sewer system was broken and was the cause of the problem. He cleared the line and the drains emptied. I am very grateful for Chris’s efforts. I still have to determine if I will have the back flow valve replaced, but everything is working now. Mark Bare was an exceptional young knowledgeable person. He explained what he was doing, where he checked outside unit, etc. Also what might happen if the unit was not maintained properly.
