James at Pete Black Plumbing was fantastic in taking care of our issue. We had a plumbing leak near our water heater that caused the water heater to stop working on Sunday. Called Pete Black on Monday and they were able to send James out on Tuesday. He got the leak fixed and the water heater checked and running quickly in just an hour or 2. He was also very personable and knowledgeable, and he answered all of the questions I had. We were only without hot water for about 2 days, which was way less than I expected. Thanks James!

Ive had multiple positive experiences with Pete Black plumbing. George was out to our house today and was really nice and helpful. He fixed our toilet issues and answered the questions we had about our kitchen sink. This is an honest and fair company that wont nickel and dime you or take advantage of an emergency plumbing situation.

I have never previously called on Pete Black Plumbing to do our work, but I will from now on.We recently had a 3/4 water supply pipe burst in our nasty, 24 high crawlspace. I dont know how that happens in warm weather, but it was a mess. Also, the location was difficult to access- blocked behind heating ducts, gas lines, and other structures.When James arrived and assessed what was happening, he described the situation, and because it could only be accessed by cutting into the floor above the gushing leak he suggested we get the insurance company and a professional restoration service involved.He took it upon himself to make the calls to a restoration company that they work closely with, and got a crew to come out within the hour. He didnt dump me and leave me hanging- he coordinated followup emergency appointments to have a plumbing crew work with the restoration service to come back the next day to repair the issue once the restoration guys had removed all the nasty, wet insulation, pulled up the tile and started dehumidifying the space.In the past I have gotten stuck with plumbers working by themselves with a rusty truck, and paid for crappy work. Pete Black Plumbing has all the crew, equipment and extensive experience to fix what was an overwhelming emergency for us. Communication was excellent, and their critical thinking skills to resolve problems they encountered gave me peace of mind. They were also excellent when it came to the insurance company, providing a detailed but succinct report that the adjuster was able to start acting on.And I cant emphasize enough just how excellent our experience was with both James and Dennis. These two guys are superheroes.No more guys with a wrench and a rusty truck for us, were calling Pete Black Plumbing immediately from now on.

One time I was slightly disappointed that the service tech left a messy foot trail on my carpet as he was going in and out of the house. Weve used Pete Black for all of our plumbing issues for the past 8 years. Every time theyve provided excellent service, often having to problem solve the unexpected due to our slab based house being 80 years old.Yesterday Craig and Zack from Pete Black came out to replace our failed 30 year old water heater. Modern tanks are much wider due to federal insulation requirement, and our utility room is extremely tight. They were no only able to track down a water heater that would fit, but Craig also engineered a solution and stayed late on a Friday night working to ensure the install was done well and completed same day so we wouldnt be without hot water during this cold spell.Very thankful to know a reliable plumbing company in my area.
