Waking up to the sound of gushing water isn’t exactly the best way to start your morning. A quick google search led us to J. Mills and we knew we were in good hands from the beginning. Over the phone we were guided on steps to take while awaiting a professional. Jacob showed up even faster than expected and did a great job! He is polite and professional, and was able to diagnose the issue. Our older home was a little tricky to navigate but Jacob worked diligently to find a solution. Our water was back up and running same day. A huge thank you to Jacob and everyone on the J. Mills staff for prioritizing our issue and the quick resolution. Definitely would recommend!!

We were dealing with a problematic leak on a wall mount toilet. Terry arrived in a professional and personable manner to assure that it would be resolved. He quickly diagnosed the cause and had a solution in place within the hour. He then did a follow-up inspection using the boroscope camera to assure the leak was fully resolved. Thank you Terry and J. Saved the day… came out right away on the weekend to address my problem and get my plumbing operational. Then they diagnosed what was wrong with the original plumbing that was causing repeat issues and performed the necessary re-work with quality and efficiency. I was even able to get them to fix an unrelated issue while they were here. Technicians were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am extremely pleased and satisfied and would use them again!

Had a water emergency at home, my well pressure pump flooded a small part of my basement. Once again J.Mills plumbing to the rescue! They are great have used them in the past and they never disappoint. They came out same day for my emergency. They sent Matt Dickinson, who was very professional and knowledgeable. He did an outstanding job on putting in my new tank! He made the spot where the old one was clean like there was never any water on the ground. I will be using J Mills again for my plumbing needs

The plumber Jacob was super helpful by explaining what was wrong and he provided recommendations that I could understand. I called J. Even though plumbing is intimidating to me, Jacob didnt insult me because of my ignorance of plumbing but instead he educated me in what was needed and why. Definitely a refreshing and non-threatening approach to plumbing for beginners. Would recommend.

I called J. Mills Plumbing to assess the existing well water system in my house which consisted of a corroded main pipe coming in from the well, a malfunctioning pressure gauge switch, and main shutoff valve that did not work. I had zero confidence in this system. Flynn could not have been more professional. He patiently answered all my questions, identified other areas of need (chiefly, a broken pressure tank and no shutoff valve for my 2 outside hose spigots which could lead to pipes freezing/bursting), and replaced everything mentioned above in a single afternoon at an affordable price. Flynn went over everything he replaced with us and even checked that both the outside spigots were shut off properly so that they wouldn’t freeze. I now have total confidence in our well water system and in J. Mills Plumbing. Flynn was outstanding and the quality of his work was most impressive.I would like to amend this review to say the same for Terry when he installed my water heater in August 2024 and Luke when he resolved/replaced my leaking pipes and pressure valve today (11-5-2024). Superior customer service and quality of work. Thank you!

Leaks aren’t fun for anyone but J. Mills Plumbing made getting help as painless as possible. An upstairs bathtub unfortunately led to a leaking basement ceiling and we needed to get to the bottom of our issue fast. J. Mills were quick to respond and had one of their men out the same day. Ryan was able to find our problem and provide us with multiple options to work out a solution that would be best for us at this time. He also made sure to explain exactly what he was doing as he was fixing our leak and took the time to ensure I understood why it happened in the first place. Hopefully we won’t have any more plumbing problems any time soon, but if we ever do, we will definitely be calling J. Mills!

Lukas represented this company very well. He did a thorough examination of a leaky shower and determined that the leak itself wasnt coming from a pipe but a seal in the shower itself. He went above and beyond and taped up electric cords in the ceiling behind the drywall so they wouldnt contact any potentially pooling water and cause a fire hazard. The hole cut into the drywall was minimal and rectangular shaped to make it easy to patch afterward. This was my first experience with this company, and it was a good one.

My first encounter with this company was during the beginning of covid 19 when I found them online. I called them to get a second opinion on work I had recently done by another company. When Brandon left my home, I knew the information that was given to me was honest and straight forward with his findings. He wasn’t trying to tell me something he thought I wanted to hear in order to sell me his service. He was honest and that is something you don’t find in these types of companies now a days. So when it was time to make a decision I called J Mills to let them know I was giving them my business and purchased a water softener from them! The very next day Paul was here to install my water softener with a smile. After installation, he made sure to explain the functionality of the softener itself and the tests he ran. I recently had a gas line emergency and I automatically knew who I was calling J Mills Pluming!!! Alex, Luke, and Brandon to the rescue!! They took their time to try and figure out the best way to help my situation. Once a decision wasmade and we were set to roll, these 3 men got right down to business and got the job done! These men truly care and go above and beyond for their customers! I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to Brandon, Paul, Alex, Luke, John and the rest of J Mills Pluming! God Bless!

J. Mills is the only plumber I will use while I live in Pinckney. I have used them to install new equipment as well as do some repair work and EVERYTIME they have responded promptly, been fully transparent and fair in their pricing, and have performed the work in less than a week.Being fully transparent to anyone who reviews this - I am certain you can find a cheaper alternative but with plumbing you get what you pay for and I am more than happy paying a little extra for prompt, thorough, and quality work.

This is the second time weve done business with J. Mills Plumbing and we couldnt be happier. Our water heater was definitely on the brink and needed to be replaced. Everything from quoting the price to scheduling the service to the completion of installation was seamless. I highly recommend J. Mills for any plumbing needs. Brandon and Luke were extremely efficient and friendly!
