    They seem very knowledgeable and honest. Another plumber quoted me $1500 to fix 2 leaks in my attic which were non existent according to Wedgeworth. They diagnosed the leak most likely stemmed from a vent leading to the roof.

    Quite an unusual experience from a consumer home services provider.The gents who came out to my house were prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. Definitely good things, but these things should be table stakes for service providers. (I recognize that it is not, unfortunately.) Three things made these guys stand out.1) They took the time to listen and explain their rationale for their *recommendations* and *options* without pressure. Many plumbers take advantage of the fact that the consumer is usually stressed and emotionally compromised if things have gotten bad enough that they have to call for professional help. Even though my situation was not a plumbing emergency, I still felt that these guys were being deliberate about avoiding pressure. Theyre attitude was more like lets find the best solutions for *you* than how can I maximize this months sales bonus.2) They were more problem-solvers than repairmen. Rather than just propose itll be best if we just replace everything (which is usually more profitable for them, especially when selling you items with egregious markups), these guys were willing to try different things to get to a satisfying outcome with the least amount of cost and risk. That takes a bit more thinking and creativity than manual labor. But the approach can save the customer money, and may even open them to spending more on other things because theyve discovered new opportunities to add value. It may also mean that the customer spends less, but these guys seemed to be more concerned about maximizing value than maximizing sales.3) Flat-rate pricing. I dont imagine that they use flat-rate pricing for all situations, but they seem to use flat-rate pricing for many more common plumbing issues. This is great because you get a price (not an estimate) up front.I wish more folks ran their businesses like these guys. The high rating is well-deserved.

    I had been searching for a trustworthy, dependable company for five years. I am delighted that I found WedgeworthPlumbing. Shane was very customer friendly when he scheduled the appointment.     Very honest! Clear Lake City Water Authority knocked on my door in the morning stating that I had a water leak at the meter. Wedgeworth came out that afternoon, dug into the meter hole, and informed me that there was, in fact, no leak. I appreciate the honesty of Shawn Wester. I will always use Wedgeworth Plumbing!

    Erica scheduled my appointment the same day I called. She also called me 20 minutes before the crew was to arrive at my house which was very helpful. Shawn and Austin were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, tidy, and efficient. They changed out my two gas hot water heaters. One was really corroded and they had to use 4 different methods to fully drain it out because there was so much build up clogging the drainage valve. I especially appreciated that Shawn took extra time to explain everything in detail so that I could avoid this problem in the future. Im very satisfied with the customer service and workmanship. Would definitely recommend them!

    Wedgeworth was recommended to us by a friend, and I continue to go to them. Their prices are usually a little higher, but they will actually fix your plumbing correctly. Our house is over 100 years old and has had bad plumbing done to it over the years, so if they’ll do it right, we’ll keep calling them.

    I have been using Wedgeworth for years - before it was sold to the current owner. They came out for an ice machine install and they were able to do everything I wanted including a filter install which I really appreciated. My only issue is the receipt did not have a good breakdown of the costs. Just one big number. All in all, i received good polite service. The invoice breakdown would be the extra information that would be helpful for my records. I would highly recommend Wedgeworth for whatever plumbing needs you have!

    Id had an exterior faucet and intake pipe and valve on my studio workshop had been damaged and had to be replaced. TJ and his associate were wonderful! I was impressed with their knowledge and professionalism and that they took the time to explain what they needed to do before they started. While they did have to turn off the water to my house, they first installed a new shutoff valve to my studio building and had the water to my house back on faster than Id expected! Instead of removing my siding, they removed my interior pedestal sink to access the area very carefully cutting out the sections of drywall. When they were done I was able to set the pieces back in tape and float the area with minimal work. Once it was dry they bolted and caulked my sink in place and cleaned everything up inside as well as insulated and taped the exterior pipes. I was also extremely impressed with their attention to detail as well as how personable they were, answering any questions I had. I would not hesitate to call on Wedgeworth again for any plumbing needs or to recommend them to anyone looking for a top company to take care of any plumbing issues at a great price!

    **See Update** The personnel were on-time, polite and left the area clean after installing a new wax ring; however, after they left, the tank ran constantly and I waited a week for someone to come complete the adjustment and was charged for the follow-up. Also, I asked for a callback from the second visit to explain the charges and was never contacted. I have had several good experiences with the company, but this one was frustrating.***Update*** A person from the company followed up a week or so later. They called to apologize that the call had not been returned at the time and explained the work that was done. They also provided a partial refund. I was impressed that they cared enough to contact me to make things right. Will definitely use again.

    This is the second time I have used Wedgeworth to replace a water heater for two different homes. They really are fantastic with customer service and I would absolutely use them again.     When my my water heater stopped working, and my regular plumber couldnt fit me into his schedule for several days, I turned to Google to look for a plumber with a favorable review history. I noticed that Wedgeworth Plumbing had consistently high reviews, so I gave them a call. I am happy to add my own high-praise review to the list. I appreciate that they worked me into their schedule for same-day service, twice. I appreciate that both service technicians, TJ and Damondrick could not have been nicer, more polite or more respectful of my home and my time. I highly recommend Wedgeworth Plumbing, and although I hope not to need their services again anytime soon, should the need arise, I will absolutely give them a call.

    When was the last time you were excited to see your plumber? Like most people in Houston, Ive needed the help of a professional plumber on several occasions. Wedgeworth Plumbing has been my go-to for a few years now and I appreciate their honest and straightforward approach to the job.     Totally awesome. Our experiences with them for the past couple of months has been fantastic.. Our Company has been using them to get some plumbing issues corrected.     I have been using Wedgeworth Plumbing for 7 years now. Still batting 1000. It was nice to have a simple repair, with a simple solution for a simple price. My other past services were emergencies and they came out in less than an hour on one of them. They have repaired my water heater and it still going 5 years after repair. They have changed out some sort of plug in 2 of our showers to stop the heads from dripping and so my point is they are very broad in terms of available skill sets and services. You are safe with this team of professionals.

    Amazing service! Came out for free quote. No pressure on having to decide on the spot. Very fair price and the best service one can expect. Damondrick explained the entire process from installation to inspection. Kept his promises on keeping me posted and showing up on time. Made sure the house was left clean after the left. They had to make a couple of extra adjustments which they didnt anticipate and did not charge me for it.

    I was very happy with my experience with Wedgeworth Plumbing. Rex came within 3 hours of my call. He replaced the valve in my Kohler tub/shower faucet. Rex and his helper were very nice and polite. They fixed my problem in about 30 or 40 minutes. The price was less than other estimates.     Im very happy with Wedgeworth Plumbing. They were able to provide me with a next day appointment and a free estimate where many other companies charge a minimum $100 fee just to show up. James was very thorough, accurately diagnosed the issue and repaired the problem. He was nice enough to also clean out the valve on my tub faucet for no charge.     James is a nice guy who is professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions, provided a reasonable quote, and completed the work on schedule to a high level of satisfaction.     When I made an appointment for plumbing service, the receptionist called me to keep me informed about when I should expect service. The plumber arrived on time and was courteous and professional as was his assistant. They completed the work, which was to change a cartridge in my whole house filter. He charged me a fair price.     Called Wedgeworth Plumbing to unclog a sewer line that was causing the toilet to back up and shower to drain slowly. Spoke to both Erica and Denise over the phone who were both very friendly and professional. I was told that a plumber would arrive between 2:00 and 4:00, and I would receive a call approximately 20 minutes prior to arrival. Everything went exactly as explained. I received a call at 2:00 and Rex and Brian arrived at 2:20. Rex and Bryan were very personable and friendly. They listened to my explanation of the problem, explained what they needed to do, and how much the cost would be. I felt they were knowledgeable, fair, and honest in the job and pricing. I would definitely use Wedgeworth Plumbing again as well as recommend them to family and friends.

    Best service and pricing in town!!James with Wedgeworth Pluming came out to help us with a main drain clog. I had another company come out the day before and he stated that the clog was in the city line. We contacted the city they said there was no clog in their drains. A friend referred me to Wedgeworth Plumbing and Im so glad they did. James was on time, very courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and unclogged the main drain.     My husband and I are very happy with James work. We first met him when he came to check a leak and address low pressure in our shower and faucets. He trouble shooted the problem, and made the repairs quickly. On his second visit, James replaced our old water heater tank.     Even though Wedgeworth Plumbing came to check a warranty item they did not install, I used their plumber, James, to make the necessary replacement. He was very patient with all my questions, thorough and professional. He also pointed out a weak turn off valve which will need replacement soon.     I have several rental properties and was not satisfied with my plumber of 10 years. I was reluctant and scared to make a change. I decided to try Wedgeworth Plumbing based on their reviews on Yelp. I am so glad I did. They are now my go to plumbers! They have worked at a more than one of my properties now and I am beyond satisfied.Most recently a tenant took it upon herself to contact a plumber who told her the hot water heater needed to be replaced. I knew that the heater was not too old; I contacted Wedgeworth and they told me it was dirty under the hot water heater. He cleaned out the dog hair and debris and it continues to work fine. Wedgeworth saved me hundreds of dollars because they are honest and have integrity.I highly rec this company!

    Rex and his accompanying teammate, and Erika and Denise over the phones were amazing. They were prompt and courteous with scheduling an appointment for our emergency need, addressed all my questions and concerns, and were thorough with both the job and clean up. I came across Wedgeworth after some extensive online research across the various plumbing companies in Houston, after getting tired of outrageous quotes and less-than truthful required work from even the most well known plumbers in the city. Our job needed a follow-up for some additional equipment, but even that was easy to coordinate. We will be using them for an additional bigger job in the near future, and now I am happy that we have reliable plumbing company that we can always reach out to for any plumbing needs.

Rex was pleasant and in my opinion went far beyond our expectations. As far as the Wedgeworth Plumbings value, their prices were more than reasonable. Another company was going to charge us there times the amount Wedgeworth did. Follow up service was excellent as well. I would DEFINITELY recommend Wedgeworth Plumbing to anyone. Almost forgot about Erica, she too was professional, friendly and a pleasure to talk with.

    If I could give them more stars I would. Amazing service, response, and professionalism. We had a problem caused by a leak in the sewage main (resulting in a sink hole) , creating a belly in our outgoing line. Within a day of requesting the service they had the line replaced and the yard looked much better than I imagined it would. There was some leftover residue from the line being backed up that was still causing a problem but Rex came out the next day and fixed it free of charge. I will be recommending them to anyone that asks about a plumber.

    Overall it was a great experience with wedgeworth plumbing. They were able to send a plumber right away to provide free estimate. We had a blockage in our drain causing water backing up in our kitchen sinks and connected master bathroom sinks. James did an exceptional job and cleared out the blockage. He examined the problem, quoted me a price, and got the job done in a timely manner. He was very conscientious about cleaning the area throughout the process. Although this service cost more, the problem was fixed and warrantied for 25 months. It would have cost me less if I had gone with a professional from the start.     Nothing’s more frustrating than not being able to use your washing machine and sink because of a clog in your old home’s plumbing. I called Wedgeworth Plumbing around 3 pm on a Thursday, and they scheduled a plumber, TJ, for the next morning. His first try with the snake helped clear the sink, but the washing machine was still overflowing. Instead of giving up, TJ stayed an extra two hours to get everything working. I even found out you can snake the line from the roof—who knew? TJ was great about explaining what updates we should consider without pushing anything. I’ll think about those for the future, but for now, I’m just happy to have a working sink and washer again!

    I found this company through Moen’s website since we need to install a water shut off valve. I contacted 3 different companies and this is the one company that called immediately. Shawn and Mitchell (I think his name was Mitchell) came out to talk about the work with FloMoen’s shut off valve installation also giving estimates and also, kindly helped us with a lot of other things.     I had a leaking toilet and Demondrick went the extra mile (literally) to take care of my needs. The universal gasket in the repair kit didn’t fit my toilet.     Centerpoint turned off gas due to a gas leak in an old gas line coming into the house. The entire gas line needed to be replaced because it was not to code and required city inspection. Got a quote from a recently used plumber that i thought was competent and reasonably priced. Got a second quote from another Angies list recommendation Wedgeworth Plumbing and it was almost half the amount and saved me thousands of dollars!! They were very professional and handled everything from permits to inspection to a clean work site that didnt require anything additionally on my part. Great experience for an unfortunate situation.

(Some plumbers will just slap it together to get it done as quickly as possible, and the sloppy work shows).     Rotorooter didnt complete the job and told me my subfloor was rotted and probably needed to be replaced. They told me to call them back when I fixed the floor. After calling 2 contractors to evaluate the floor, turns out It was in good shape, it was just wet from the broken flange. A repair flange would have worked just fine. They were also going to install the new toilet flange (on the inside of a 3 pipe) with a thick rubber gasket that would put the drain pipe for that toilet at about 2. Would probably have gotten clogs all the time. Wedgeworth quickly chipped and removed the pipe from the old flange off of the drain pipe so that a new larger flange could fit on the outside like the original and installed it properly, quickly and affordably. Very impressed with their expertise, their work and their professionalism.
