    Today I called about a possible pipe leak above my bedroom ceiling. I was immediately offered a plumber to come give me a free estimate. An appointment was scheduled and a plumber was dispatched. Shortly I received a follow up call advising me Nick was in route and would arrive in 30 minutes. Nick arrived, introduced himself, made small talk and promptly checked out my plumbing problem. Nick appraised the problem, gave me an estimate and advise me he would get started and complete the task today. I was so happy, I had been waiting for my usual plumber since Saturday. Nick was professional, efficient and charged a reasonable pair price. Thank you. Recommend this company to everyone.

    My partner and I had problem with our toilet not flushing in the master bedroom. We appreciate the Tech by the name of Derrick being on time as scheduled. We were happy to see him with a mask on, with a helpful and pleasant attitude. We were able to understand what was causing our toilet not to flush properly. Derrick did a great job replacing the flush valve system and it didnt take long. Our toilet is working great! And the cost was affordable.     Having a water leak is a scary thing. Anthony came sooner than expected, took a look at the problem and was able to save me time and money. He resolved my issue so quickly. I was truly amazed and recommend him and this company highly. I believe Budget Home Services is a caring honest company and will not rip you off. My single knob shower would not shut off completely. After nearly a week of dealing with another company, I contacted Budget. They came quickly and did not inflate the price with modifications that were not truly necessary. I cant say enough how impressed I am with not only the service provide but the caring and the honesty are not seen much these days. Thank You Budget!

    Derrick did an excellent job installing a custom shower fixture in my home. It was easy to set up the appointment and he showed up on time. We discussed the job in detail and worked through the different options before agreeing on what to do. I would certainly use them again.

    Noticed a leak from the garden hose bib outside the house. Called these guys and they squeezed us in the same day!! We weren’t expecting that.Anthony was very professional/ knowledgeable and gave us a great quote along with with a 30 day warranty on service! Job was completed same day and we are very happy. I’ll definitely call these guys again if I have any plumbing issues in the future.

    I called and reported an issue in the afternoon and they had a plumber out by dinner time. Derek was awesome and informative. I explained my issue and we were discussing it when I mentioned my home warranty. Since my home warranty should cover this issue he did not actually provide any services, but a company that gives free quotes, and explains each repair cost and why it is priced that way is good in my book!

    Needed to replace 15 yr old water heater in attic. Bought one through local big box store but their associated plumbing service wanted an arm and a leg for install. Looked online at several plumbing companies and this one had many favorable reviews. Called Budget Home Services on 6/6/19 and they sent Derrick out within 45 minutes. He looked everything over and came back with a firm price that came in almost $800. Under the previous “estimate” I got from the other guys. Sealed the deal right then and there. Derrick and Andreas came out the next day. Their dispatcher kept me informed of their arrival so I wasn’t left guessing when they would show up. Derrick and Andreas arrived at 12:15 and within ONE HOUR they had removed the old water heater, and installed and tested the new one. They also installed a full port ball valve that I had previously purchased into the new heater for me at no charge. Derrick gave me lots of information about my new water heater and maintenance tips to keep it operating for a long time. In summary: one hour attic install, very courteous and professional, great quality job and extremely reasonable pricing. Derrick told me they also have an air conditioning division of the company. I will definitely keep them in mind WHEN that time comes.

    My wife and I are new hone owners. We moved in a year ago and have always heard about the horrible costs associated with plumbing repairs. Well yesterday I noticed my water bill was extremely high and found I had a main water line leak. I researched top rated plumbers near me and found Budget Home Services on top. After reading some of the great reviews I called and set an appointment. Today I had the pleasure of meeting both Derrick and Angel. They were professional and down to earth people. When he quoted me my price I was relieved, Budget Home Services is very reasonable and had me fixed up in no time. Great company, good people and they will be highly recommended from me moving forward and will be my go to for plumbing issues in the future.

I worked with their plumber Nick Russell, who demonstrated to me a high degree of experience, competency, and conscientiousness. He diagnosed and fixed several problems ranging from small to large, and did great work. He ensured that I was fully satisfied with his companys work on my home, and for that I am very appreciative.     Hot Water Heater went out and we were in need of a fast and trustworthy company to come out. Called and they were out the same day had a new hot water heater installed in my home within hours! I had them replace the complete line running to the house. They took care of the repair in the pouring rain and got my water back on that day.

    Called at 1 pm about a leak under the sink and draining slowly the dispatcher said Derrick was on another job Kept me updated on eta by 3 pm Derrick was here and completed the job by 430 pm even though he had to go get parts redid the plumbing and cleaned up .     Brett and his crew from Budget Home Services did great job replacing our R22 freon AC with a new R410 Freon AC. I got several bids and Budget Home Services gave me the best price.     Budget Home Services is the BEST. JR and Rick came to our home today to repair a toilet that would not completely flush every time. They assessed the problem, explained everything to us and fixed the issue at NO CHARGE. We have an older home and will eventually need to replace that particular toilet. We were given a very fair estimate of what that will involve, as well as an estimate when it comes time to replace our 18 year old water heater. These technicians were polite, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. We will DEFINITELY be using Budget Home Services for any future needs of this nature. Highly recommend!

    Very fair and honest. They were at our house within 2 hours of my call. Matt and Brett quickly diagnosed and fixed our AC issue. A loose wire in the attic was preventing the outside compressor from working consistently. A few weeks earlier, we hired another company that could not figure out what the issue was. Brett and Matt were very knowledgeable about possible causes. And they didnt charge us extra beyond the initial $49. I recommend this company!

    Our hot water suddenly stopped working Tuesday evening and we called Budget Home Services Wednesday morning. They came out the same day and Derrick and Angel were very fast, friendly, were quiet while our baby napped and our kids enjoyed playing with them as well and even cleaned up any mess that was made.     Budget Home Services was prompt to respond to my yelp message, they answered all my questions, our conversation lasted far past 5pm, as I was running errands and answering as I could in between tasks. Casey was patient and helpful and looked at the images and comments I sent them and even gave me a ballpark quote. They followed up in the morning and sent a tech out after I confirmed my request. Their technician JR was very friendly, professional, and did a great job removing our unused ancient garbage disposal. He also put caulking around our sink and helped me figure out what size and type of faucet I should go buy, he replaced the faucet and even cleaned up under the sink after he was done. He noticed some water damage from the leaking and let me know to be aware of this issue. I really appreciated this, and if I need any help reconnecting everything once we get the counter replaced I will definitely contact their company. He didnt waste any time, worked efficiently, and was courteous about clean up (something other companies Ive noticed arent always very good about).

    Nothing but great things to say about this company. Last Thursday I had another company come look at my hot water heater. It was discovered that it needed to be replaced. The other company quoted me at $3500, which I found to be absurd. Unfortunately, I was going out of town on Monday and didnt want to let it go until I got back.I called a few other companies that were able to come out and give me a quote the next day but wouldnt guarantee they could fix it. I called BHS and was able to not only obtain a quote over the phone but was told she could have the guys load up the new hot water heater Friday morning and do the install that afternoon. And for WAY less, on top of it.Friday came and I was called to let me know they were on their way. Kelly and Kirk/Kurt (not sure which is correct... sorry) showed up and knocked it out. They were both very professional. Kelly went over some basics with me after install. They definitely deserve all of the positive reviews theyve gotten and will be the first company Ill call in the future.

JR and his crew came out multiple times, even revisiting over a month later to reconnect my gas grill and clear out the gas line after Centerpoint refused to fix the damage they caused.     We have used these guys several times and can say they are very reputable and honest. They repaired a gas leak in our house with some challenging issues. They were also half the price of other large corporate plumbing companies (i.e. ARS). We recently had a very minor toilet issue which they did not charge us at all. Highly recommended!

    Cant say enough good things about this company! Called them about a serious issue and the response time was great. They identified the problem late on a Friday afternoon and were back on Saturday morning with a full crew to fix it - even showed up at 8:00 a.m. when they were scheduled for 9:30! Casey kept us updated with pictures and video while the work was in progress. Triple checked it all and we are back in business! I especially appreciated the fact that they were very aware that Saturday is the biggest day in retail and they took many precautions to insure the safety of our patrons. I recommend Budget without reservation. I was so impressed with how they handled the plumbing issue at the business that I will be using them for my personal plumbing needs in the future.

    We would just like to say thank you to Brett for coming out to our house today. Our A/C system was not working properly for over a month. The other company we were using was trying to continue to get more money to make repairs that essentially we not needed. Brett came out and got our system running again without the costly repairs that the other company was trying to charge us. He gave us an honest assessment of the condition of our entire system and showed us problem areas of the system that were supposed to be fixed by the other company. He also gave us an honest quote for a complete system rebuild that was a few thousand dollars less than quotes from other companies. We have this companys number on speed dial and will request Brett the next time we have a problem. When the time comes for the complete A/C system rebuild next year, they will be the company that we do business with.

    BHS was recommended to me by my regular plumber who was unable to unclog my bathtub drain using just a manual snake. He then referred me to BHS and told me that when i call to mention that the situation would need a power snake not a manual snake. I provided this information but when Derrick arrived he first tried a simple plastic snake and then went out to purchase a stronger manual snake. I informed Derrick that when I called I instructed that a power snake was needed. Derrick was hesitant to bring in the power snake for fear of making too much of a mess since the last job he was on created a lot of build up on it. He also said that a power snake was not mentioned on his job ticket. We then arranged for him to return the next day after cleaning the power snake. The next day Derrick returned with a sturdier manual snake and attempted to unclog the drain again. After another failed attempt the power snake was finally brought in and the clog was eliminated. Derrick was great! He went above and beyond to try and unclog the drain using the simpler tools before possibly creating a bigger mess with the power snake. Four stars for professionalism, cleanliness, timely response and value. Five stars if power snake had been used immediately which would have eliminated the back and forth visits.     Jose M. is an absolute gem. He is the epidimy of what you look for in a professional. He arrives ahead of his own schedule and provides specific communication of what will be done. He is extremely detailed and sees things beyond your untrained eyes. I called and received a service quote on the next business day. Jose was able to offer completing the project on the same day. He also ensured that his service area was just as presentable as it was when he arrived. Dont make a costly mistake in hiring anyone else other than BHS.     Rick and JR came to the rescue! Dont know how long I had the leak, but the City of Houston Water Department sure does. Rick and JR were both very professional and efficient. Was surprised at how quickly they were able to do the job. It was pretty muddy down there under the house, but they didnt complain. JR informed me of how to send a copy of his Invoice to the City of Houston Water Department using a form from the City of Houston Water Department website for a Leak Adjustment Credit because of the higher water bills.     Budget Home Services (BHS) provided great service to our condo this past Monday. Huck at BHS led his team to install hot and cold water filters in our bathroom to filter the water in the shower and bathroom sinks in our condo. I would gladly recommend the BHS team to anyone.

    Water backed up into our kitchen sink every time we turned on the faucet. Kelly came over. He listened to the symptoms I described and tested the works for himself. He tinkered with the drainage without any tools. He was patient and took the time to explain his reasoning as to the cause of the problem and its remedy. He had the water draining normally in short order. Since he didnt have to use any of the tools from his truck to unclog the pipes, he didnt charge us anything. How about THAT for service?

    I obtained a quote for a tankless water heater through Budget Home Services. Even though I have not yet used this company, I want to recommend them, as far as honesty. Derrick was completely honest with me on why our hot water heater was not functioning properly, even though he knew this may influence our decision on whether or not to purchase a new tankless water heater. He was also up front with me about the fact that, if we get a tankless system, if there is a power outage, we would not have hot water unless we had a whole home generator. With a typical water heater (not a tankless one), there is a reserve of hot water even if the power goes out. I think Derrick should get a raise and Employee of the Year! I love his honesty, especially in todays world. So, as far as my experience with Budget Home Services, if you want an honest company (especially if you request Derrick), go with BUDGET HOME SERVICES!
