Heres the full story: Keith is your go-to guy! I was preparing for a trip when I found myself dealing with a constantly running toilet. I tried adjusting the float in the tank and closing the pressure relief valve, but to no avail. I received a quote from another plumbing service, which suggested breaking the wall to install a new valve and even tried to convince me to buy a new toilet. Even with discounts, their quote totaled over $1,000! That was a no-go for me, so I reached out to Keith early on a Sunday. Without any unnecessary sales talk, he reassured me that he could fit me into his schedule. He arrived punctually and, once again without unnecessary sales talk, quickly identified and fixed the problem in less than an hour! Turns out, I had to call the same plumbing service back for assistance, and Im happy I did. Bentley was able to arrange for a service appointment for me the following afternoon. I appreciated that Bentley gave me a call to inform me that the plumbers would be slightly delayed because they needed to thoroughly clean their tools following their previous job. Colin and Philip showed up ready to get to work. They immediately started the task at hand. I was concerned about another appointment I had scheduled at 2 pm, fearing I might be late. However, Colin assured me I wouldnt be late and that the plug replacement would only take around 20 minutes. They were highly professional and walked me through all their actions, showing me all the old cast iron parts that needed to be replaced. Given that our Houston home is a vintage one that has undergone renovations, the plumbing setup is somewhat intricate compared to most. However, the permit process wasnt completed at the time, as we were not advised to contact the inspector to finalize the permit, nor was the chimney verification filed. Both of these steps are necessary according to local and state guidelines. We later found ourselves dealing with an open permit for a water heater that no longer adhered to the current plumbing codes. It is also a requirement that any plumber completes the permit process before accepting the final payment. Dear Eric, we apologize for the confusion. We were simply uninformed homeowners at the time.

Upon signing the contract and providing the initial deposit, a project manager, Colin, was assigned to oversee the project. A walk-through was scheduled a few weeks before the commencement of the job to discuss the detailed plan. This included ordering equipment, filing permits, and setting up inspections in Houston. The Hayden & Sons team handled everything efficiently, showing attention to every aspect of the job. The actual work, which involved removing the old heating equipment and the oil tank from my basement, took two days. Everything went smoothly, with the team demonstrating their expertise and teamwork. Jalen and Philip handled the actual plumbing of new gas lines and the installation of a new hot water heater and gas boiler. The Hayden & Sons office was always updated about the progress of the work. If I had any queries, they were promptly addressed either immediately or within a few hours. Upon completion of the job, Jalen and Philip ensured that the new equipment was functioning correctly before leaving, even taking care of minor issues such as bleeding some of the radiator valves. This morning we had a leak in the kitchen faucet and called hayden & sons plumbers. they managed to send bentley to our place within the day. bentley even gave us a call to say he could be at our place in less than half an hour! we were so thrilled. bentley also found a leak in our garden faucet, which he diagnosed without breaking a sweat. he even showed us a photo of the connector piece wed need to fix the issue properly. we felt their charges were quite reasonable. wed absolutely recommend bentley!

Each time weve encountered a problem, they have been prompt to respond and diligent in their efforts to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, this time, the issue with our line necessitated a long-term fix—substituting all our traditional clay pipes with sturdy PVC ones. Keith and Eric began the task just a day after we called them, turning it into a 4-day job. These gentlemen are highly professional, extremely courteous, and always mindful of their clients comfort. They were particularly kind and considerate towards my wife and children. On the final day, they even took the time to clean up their worksite by leveling all the dirt mounds from the excavation, a task that wasnt even obligatory. In no time, like within 1-1/2hrs, we had a plumber at our doorstep. Keith, the technician, was simply splendid. He displayed a courteous demeanor and demonstrated impressive knowledge. Our clean out was situated in a crawl space beneath our dwelling. Nevertheless, keith did whatever necessary, including maneuvering the drain cleaning machine into the crawlspace, to ensure the job was completed. We give keith an A++ rating. Much appreciated.
