I called them on the Sunday between Christmas and New Years with a 10-year old water heater that wouldn’t re-light. Leonard was direct in prescribing a replacement instead of a repair and suggested upgrading valves and installing an automatic shutoff to mitigate leak risks, essential for a water heater on a third floor. They replaced it next day. I appreciate that they were upfront about the timeline for the pvc glue to set.

Super fast whole home re-pipe in only two days and for a great price. They were professional and very friendly as well as always on time. Paper was taped to the floor to prevent a huge mess and make clean up a lot easier. Only complaint was that plastic was not used to cover stuff like furniture and electronics from drywall dust but thats not really a big deal.

Leonard answered at 10am when I called, gave me an estimate over phone of $1300 for pipe leaking under my toilet based on what he thought problem was without looking at it and answered all my questions. Although they were working on another project, he was still able to send Mario out to come look at my issue in person later the same day at 1pm for an in person more accurate estimate. Mario noted quickly that it was just the wax seal was damaged on my toilet and the pipe was not damaged. I knew I couldve done it myself, but didnt want to invest the time. He completed project on the spot in 1 hour for $250. He also replaced broken bolt and caulked around the toilet. He did good work, was meticulous, and efficient. Will call again for future plumbing issues.

They have found and fixed multiple gas leaks and recently installed a tankless water heater for us. My only regret was not finding this company earlier when we had to replace the existing cast iron plumbing. I highly recommend this company.

Of course his plumbing work was excellent (we had used him previously for water heater replacement, faucet replacements), but we were pleasantly surprised by his terrific trades people. Leonard sent timely well skilled tradesmen (tile, drywall, electrician, wallpaper) who always cleaned up after themselves and were professional. Houston Plumbing Services came out after Winter Storm Uri and fixed no less than 6 busted pipes to make sure I had a working bathroom and kitchen again. The plumbers took time to explain what was happening and my options and the office stayed in touch about the time for my appointment. Having someone to keep you updated about when they could come out was a huge relief, considering how hard it was to get in touch with anyone this week. And the guys did great work, made sure everything was running and scheduled a follow up appointment. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Leonard Papa and his co-worker installed our new garbage disposal in 30 minutes and were able to diagnose the cause of our low water pressure and lack of hot water upstairs. Since we were new home owners, he even helped us find our water shutoff valve. Great company and great work, I will definitely use them from here on out!Edit 11/16: They came immediately when we had water leaking through our kitchen ceiling the first time we used the shower in our new home. The main water line connecting my house to the city broke and was leaking tons of water. After contacting the city and learning that it was my responsibility to fix, I called Houston plumbing services and they came out that afternoon to assess the damage and provide an estimate for the job.Leonard arrived and stopped the leak temporarily, letting me know the cost. Since it was the afternoon by that time and the pipe needing replacing, the real work needed to start the next day. When morning came, Leonard and his assistant came bright and early and did an amazing job for a fair price, finishing in the early afternoon. They left my plumbing better than it was even before the leak. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Eda in the office sent Leonard Papa and Mario to our home to deal with some leaks in our water lines that froze during the recent spell of subfreezing temperatures. Every single one of the dozen plumbing companies we contacted were so busy that they wouldnt provide so much as an estimate on when we could expect some help with our problems. One other company offered an appointment only to rescind it offering only a vague estimate when they could help. Only Eda and Houston Plumbing Services rode to our rescue the very next day and located and repaired about 10 leaks getting our water back after 10 days. Leonard and Mario were patient and entirely professional and explained everything they were doing as they were doing it. As a result, we now have water. Without a doubt, Houston Plumbing Services gained a loyal customer today and its our pleasure to recommend this fine business without reservation.

I highly recommend Houston Plumbing Services. Leonard fixed my water heater, dishwasher, sink and washer connections that the previous plumber had messed up. He was on time, very polite, cleaned up after himself and most of all, performed quality work. His rates are affordable and he stands by his work. A few months later I called him in a panic because my roofers had not connected the roof vent pipe to the water heater and couldnt come out for almost a week, even though carbon monoxide was leaking into my attic. During this trying time for many Houstonians I was lucky enough to get an appointment scheduled after discovering my pipes froze and burst. I wasnt sure what to expect for total damages but the lead guy Leonard was excellent! He explained everything that was going on and what they would need to do to fix everything.The team even went above and beyond what was needed after discovering the shoddy job the original builders did with not having separate shutoff for the sprinkler system that also burst. They installed a separate shutoff for sprinkler system while fixing the main water pipe that burst.They also probably saved me a lot of time telling me if I could find 2 other parts that were needed to fix other issues I was having to get them and what the part numbers were and sizes i needed. Luckily I was able to find both and will definitely contact them as soon as they come in.Finally came the price that i was really worried about. Thankfully the price they charged for everything was in my mind very reasonable considering the repairs and knowing a typical DYI person wasnt going to be able to fix these. I am sure during these challenging times they could have charged a lot more and gotten away with it but they didnt. I have saved their information and will use them for any work i have in the future including my rental property.Thanks again for helping get my water back on! You guys are great!

I recently moved into a 65 year old home that had the original galvanized pipes. Houston Plumbing Services did a re-pipe of the house, replacing every inch of piping throughout the house and Im beyond happy with their work. Not only did they do great work, but they did so with a lot of attention to minimizing any damage to the house, such as cutting into walls to access fixtures. The biggest example is getting to the kitchen without tearing up any counter or backsplash.To explain, I had another company (the one that advertises constantly on TV with the CEO...you know who I mean) quote for the job and they instantly talked about ripping apart my granite countertop and tile backsplash because they didnt see any other way to get to the faucet and dishwasher. But in the same breath told me they offered services to rebuild my kitchen. When Leonard from Houston Plumbing looked, he just said it would be easy enough to come down the end of the wall and run the PEX over to the faucet. No demolition, nothing to repair other than two little holes in the drywall where he pulled the PEX through. That was thousands of dollars of repairs avoided.Speaking of dollars, HPS was completely fair in their pricing, unlike that other company that obviously was preying on people who either just dont know better or arent bothering to do due diligence and get multiple quotes. They were more than double the price, plus wanted to tear out my kitchen so that they could gouge me for rebuilding it afterwards. I had called a third large plumbing company (the one whose name is an ancient calculator) but they literally just didnt show up for the appointment they set up.So in the end, Houston Plumbing Services did great work at a fair price. What else can you ask for? Ive recommend them to several people already, and I highly recommend them to whoever is reading this review.

My name is Melissa and I live in Southwest Houston. My Neighborhood was hit really hard by this last Freeze storm that hit Houston about 3 months ago. We were without water or power for 5 days in sub freezing weather. And when the water and power did come back on it was a disaster in my home. Water was every where. Cellings were collapsing all around us. So scary 😨. Reached out to a few programs seeking help because frozen pipes was not covered under my home owners insurance. I was so in need of a miracle. A program called conectivetexas.gov sent me a Blessing.They sent out Houston Plumbing Services who volunteered their time with lots of love and care and great professionalism to help me get my water back on.They came out and treated me like I was a customer spending a million bucks, when in reality they did it all for free just because of the kindness in their hearts. They put down paper as to not mess up anything. They even kept it clean as they worked and each night before they would head out. They even put back as much of the drywall as they could that they had to cut away. They worked very hard and were very professional. Even in my hot house with no Air conditioning running due to the gapping holes in my ceilings looking right into the attic. And let me tell you it got extremely hot in here. But with great pride and joy they were happy to get it done to help out a fellow Houston whom really was relying on them. It is with great pleasure that I can truly say that they went above and beyond to help me. and got it done. They replaced all the pipes in my whole home. and did it with a smile 😃. I had a broken cast iron waste line under my home. Houston Plumbing Services came out and rerouted over a hundred feet of new PVC pipe underground across my front lawn into the 4” main sewer line. They had to remove part of my driveway to do it. They did the whole project in one day including putting the concrete driveway back. I am an architect and I must say they did a very professional job. They cleaned up so well you can hardly tell that my front yard was such a mess at the beginning of the excavation. I would recommend this company to anyone. They are top notch.

Leonard and Mario were absolutely fantastic - they replaced my shower cartridge with no issue even though the plumbing and valves were very old and parts are usually hard to find. They were so kind, respectful, and patient with me, I truly appreciated their help in getting this issue resolved efficiently. I was initially nervous because it was frustrating to coordinate with Eda in terms of scheduling - I kept having to personally follow-up myself even though she said she would call back several times, and I was told I would receive a confirmation email and I never did. Im so glad I called Houston Plumbing Service. After bad service with another plumbing company I noticed a leak in our backyard. I searched Google for a local company with good reviews. I used their online service request form and they called to see how they could help. We were able to get a quote with options by sharing some photos of the leak virtually. It wasnt an emergency to me but they were able to fit us in sooner than I expected. In less than two hours they removed an old water softener and patched the pipe. They even wrapped it and installed an extra emergency shut off for me. They wore ppe and followed covid protocols which was important for me. Their customer service is better than Ive ever experienced, very friendly and comforting. All my service options were reasonably priced, less than I expected. I will definitely be using their services in the future and I wish all repair companies followed their standard of service. They are really the best.
