A great place to train to learn a trade. They have good instructors , the pay is good with good benefits. It is hard work, but very rewarding. This is a trade to be proud of. Plumbing is the health and welfare of the country!

A great place! If you want to enter the plumber apprenticeship program make sure you have your TX DL or state I.d., A copy of your birth certificate, A copy of your H.S Diploma and transcripts or G.E.D. papers, Your Social Security Card. Also bring any other documents such as your TWIC card, apprentice card, college diploma or certificates from a college or trade school to add to your portfolio as well. To apply the apprenticeship hall takes applications on Wed. only at 12:30 and 2:30 only. No other days just Wed. Be prepared to spend about 2 hours there too filling out paper work and taking supplemental math examination. Yes, a math test! You can only take it twice. It isnt a pass or fail thing but they want to see how well you do. If you are unsatisfied with your grade off the first test you may take it one more time. The test consists of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. You will be asked to do these problems with fractions and decimals. You must do it by hand so calculators and smart phones are prohibited. Also they request your scrap piece of paper to be turned in with the test. Make sure you bring the required papers above to avoid a return trip there since your application isnt considered complete until they have all the required paperwork.

They have a great training program, its free, and there are many people here willing to help you achieve your goals.
