Nicks Plumbing was great and I will definitely call them again. We had a jammed garbage disposal and a broken shower faucet. They came by within 3 hours of me calling in, fixed the garbage disposal - they found a small fork was jammed in it - and removed and replaced the broken shower parts, all done in less than an hour and at a reasonable price. Plus Gilbert gave other free maintenance advice for small plumbing issues. Very satisfied, thank you again!

I am still astounded that a new hot water heater could cost $6000, but the new one does have greater capacity and more efficiency than the old one. Ethan laid out all the options and responded to all my questions. He was able to make arrangements with the roofer so the whole job was done on a turnkey basis. During the actual installation, Ethan was very efficient and professional. Overall, my experience was very positive. We had a dishwasher fail and woke up with water across the kitchen floor. After several attempts to ascertain the problem, paying a dishwasher repair company to work on the dishwasher door and having our main shutoff valve under the kitchen sink replaced, we ended up unplugging the dishwasher (which was never the responsibility of Nicks Plumbing) and found that we had absolutely no water pressure on the hot side of the kitchen sink. My wife was in total despair - we made it through Friday and the weekend by carrying hot water from the closest bathroom to wash dishes and invested in disposable paper and plastic ware.My wife called Nicks Plumbing on Friday afternoon and requested their best plumbing technician Tanner Dickens - the superhero of the plumbing world. Tanner came out this morning, listened to my wife explain the situation and resolved the problem in TEN MINUTES! We now have hot water with great pressure to the kitchen sink. I have a happy wife and, what was a major issue, resolved.Call Nicks Plumbing for any plumbing issues and request Tanner Dickens- there will be peace in your house.

We had a very challenging mystery leak in our plumbing and Trevor was thorough in identifying potential sources, providing various approaches for minimally invasive investigation and remediation options, which saved us from having to tear out our bathroom shower. He was able to find the leak and repair it efficiently. What I appreciated even more was Trevors positive attitude and approach to the work; I never imagined Id be having a good laugh while getting plumbing repaired, but Trever made that possible. Reached out to Nicks for a tankless water heater repair. The crew who showed up was extremely professional, well articulated and completely knowledgeable about all facets of tankless water heater operation and repair. They approached the problem in a couple of different ways starting with a repair and service and due to the nature of the challenge and age of the unit moved into recommending a replacement. The amount of time it took to get the install done and competed was amazingly quick and they left the workplace as clean and tidy as they found it. They were detailed, explained everything and then took pictures and documented what was completed. I am extremely satisfied with the work and the effort they rendered to complete the install and definitely will leverage Nicks for services in the future. I would recommend them. He suggested installing a drip leg (sentiment trap) for the hot water heater and explained why it would help to maintain the water heater’s function. He replaced the original shutoff gas valve that was needed and Installed a new gas line whip as well. Drained the water tank to remove any excess scaling and debris inside the tank. Our tech did a thorough review of our two AC/Heater units. Laid out all the issues. A good tech will, and they will range from replacements of equipment past design life to parts not working the way they should. A discerning customer will make decisions about what they really need for the level of reliability they are comfortable with. Our tech was not pushing anything on us and the few repairs we authorized were done well and quickly.My one complaint was a recommendation for adding a leak sealant to the refrigerant in our unit that has a very small leak, lasts 1-2 years small. Great idea. But the charge would have been 10 times what the sealant costs (looked it up) and installation takes just a few minutes. I said no to what felt like price gouging.

Called Nicks and it was a much better experience. They found the issue quickly and repaired it properly, unlike the first company, who had used a flexible line that cracked within a week. My advice, never let anyone replace gas lines with flexible tubing. John, our technician was great and tripled checked everything to make sure the leak was taken care of. I would highly recommend this company if you want work done properly.

Ethan Coker with Nicks troubleshooted and ultimately replaced a tankless hotwater heater in my home today.I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Ethan. He took the time to explain the problem and all of the repair options and was not pushy in anyway whatsoever. Ethan was on time, clean, polite, and finished the job quicker than initially communicated. I could also tell that he as passionate about his work and this showed in how he treated us and his work.While fixing the hot waterheater he accidently stepped on a junction box in the attic which took out a circuit in my home. Ethan took ownership, and scheduled an electrician to come out and fix the problem (at Nicks expense). Its never fun to pay for home repairs, but having a guy like Ethan to deal with sure does soften the blow.Also Nicks billing and scheduling and work order system is really good. LATEST UPDATE - November 12, 2024Received a call from Jeffery Dickerson (HVAC Manager at Nicks)He worked with me to resolve the issue.Professional and to the point.Issue resolved - Nicks will honor their agreement and service 2 units for the Fall Tune up.My very first review was 5 stars but am lowering it to 4 stars (my earlier update had them at 1 star).UPDATE - NOVEMBER 12, 2024SCAM: Their VIP membership is a scam.I purchased their VIP membership for two systems.Apparently when it was sold to me, they very clearly mentioned it was for TWO systems and they serviced them as such ieach summer Summer and Fall.They came up with a new Smart VIP plan and discovered that I am paying for one system so they would service only one system.I did not sign up for the new membership and cancelled the old membership.Under the old membership, I was owed one fall service for BOTH systems.When I called to schedule, they said they would service only one system.They suddenly became defensive and RUDE.I have documentation to prove they are wrong.Their plumbing services are good but do not fall for this trap of VIP membership.__________________________________________Found them on a Google search to instal Moen Flo.They were super courteous and prompt.Eric came over to provide an estimate - on time and he took pictures and shared the detailed estimate (including the tiniest detail that they had to mount brackets the cost would be included) with me and took my signature/consent and then placed the order for the part.I paid 50% upfront as per their requirement.Eric reached out to me that Nick’s has managed to source the part and he would be there on a specific day.He came at the appointed time and did a marvelous job - neat and clean!Showed how the device works and asked to be called if I ran into any issues.Again took pictures and I paid the balance amount EXACTLY per the estimate. There were no overages.The invoice was accompanied by before/after pictures.He even gave me tips on how to protect my home from a potential HVAC water damage which was not even part of his service.STRONGLY RECOMMEND NICKS and ask for ERIC!!

Great service, completed the repair at the quoted estimate. The estimate I was given was as much as half what Abacus and ARS quoted me, and saved me thousands of dollars. The supervisors who came out and did the estimate didnt pressure me, didnt upsell me, didnt give the standard well have to tunnel a minimum of 5-feet under your house. I was told by Nicks the break in my drain/clean-out was no more than a few inches under the house. When I asked one of the other companys reps what if the break isnt 5 + feet under the house? How would that affect the price of the repair, one told me it definitely was at least 5-feet under the house and the repair could only get more expensive, not less. But, just as the guys from Nicks predicted, the break was actually 8 to 10 inches under the house. Highly recommended!

I called on a Wednesday at 10am. They had Carlos Banegas on site by 3pm and within an hour he had fixed 2 separate issues with my air conditioning. I paid for one and the other was more than I could afford on the spot. Carlos, put a temporary fix on my unit as well as bid to fix the issue in the future. Awesome!The only issue I had was a slight overcharge on which was listed and documented on the invoice. After calling dispatch, John Eccles had the issue fixed before I arrived at work the next day.Im a first-time home buyer and given my experience I would confidently recommend Nicks Plumbing & Air to my personal Friends and Family.

I really appreciate his professionalism and care in doing his work well. He took before and after pictures and videos and emailed them to me to show not only me that the work was done, where he could not stop the leak himself, he coached me on what to share with the remodeler as well. I started using Nick’s Plumbing a few years ago for a commercial plumbing stoppage. I also used them to replace some pipes damaged in a freeze a last winter. I’ve been very satisfied with the customer service with the follow up with the scheduling & with same-day service. This is a fantastic company. I’ve probably use them about seven or eight times now for plumbingand I used them today for the first time for some HVAC service and I was not disappointed they were there within the hour. The technician diagnosed exactly what was the problem was & he replaced the part & he got my system running perfectly. The parts that needed to be replaced were on the truck. He did not have to go to the store or order the parts he fixed it right and got my tenants back up and running.This company consistently under sales and over delivers for the customer.

Our bathroom faucet handles were leaking and the whole faucet needed to be replaced. The technician was professional, on time, knowledgable, and did a good quality repair. No complaints on the quality/professionalism front. I do think the pricing is above average. Almost $700 for a bathroom faucet installation. They did provide this estimate upfront to their credit. Bottom line, they will do a good job and provide an estimate up front but it is expensive.

Jarrod Johnson was the technician who did my initial estimate and who is spearheading the plumbing project I need to get done; and I have to say, he is one of the most helpful, honest, customer-oriented technicians I’ve ever worked with. In terms of his helpfulness and honest integrity (i.e. helping me identify what I really need, and don’t need, rather than simply finding the best way to sell me on the most expensive scope of work possible)—in that way, he put me in mind of this one, rare car repair business I used to frequent up in Spring (Dan’s Automotive on Kuykendahl, for anyone who wonders) who also clearly had my genuine needs in mind and not his own pocketbook. These are the kinds of companies you hold on to and tell all your friends and neighbors about. Because of my interaction with Jarrod, I am going with Nick’s Plumbing for a significant drain issue I have to resolve. I highly recommend them, and Jarrod Johnson, for their (and his) helpfulness, professionalism, and integrity.

Luis was outstanding. He replaced my water heater and capped off my inoperable natural gas grill. He was efficient, friendly, kept his work site clean and neat. When I need plumbing work in the future I will call Nick’s and request Luis. He is the best!

I got in a jam with a gas supply line plug that Id normally be able to address but was going to require more force than Im comfortable with at risk of busting the gas line behind the wall. The Nicks Plumbing team was able to mitigate the issue with no problem, and given it was such a short fix in terms of time, went ahead and took care of a few other minor things with the valves & components (supplied by me, so they really didnt have to do that; it was just a courtesy).

We woke up on a Saturday morning to realize that our AC was broken. Nicks had a technician at our home by 9:30. Before he arrived, we received a text with a photo and short bio so we knew who to expect. Miguel was incredibly professional and had diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. He had the parts he needed on the truck so he quickly made the swap and was done in 30 minutes. We had such a great experience with Miguel and Nicks Plumbing!
