    I would give more than 5 stars if I could. DYZ did an AMAZING job taking care of a gas line inspection. They took the time to come out and provided a free estimate for the actual cost of the job, not just a fluffy number over the phone. They were able to coordinate with the city for the permit, gas line test, and inspection all in the same day. The gas company is a complete pain, but DYZ came out a second time to correct the gas companys laziness and get the job 100% completed. Super friendly, super helpful, and very responsive. If youre looking for a licensed plumber in Spring Branch or the Houston area in general, DYZ is my #1 recommendation to call first. 👍👍👍👍👍

    Arrived on time, quick, knowledgeable, though pricy service. They charge a modest $45 fee due to fuel cost increase. They sent Yanis (a Master plumber) to evaluate and replace a broken leaking plastic ball valve and replace and relocate an improperly located pressure reduction valve in one visit. Yanis showed considerable knowledge and spent time explaining the repair and best practices. Whole job cost $1080 and took about 2 hours. Did a great job cleaning up too. Of the 2 hrs, waited 30 minutes for someone to drop off parts.Edit: Price was actually on the high side after researching parts installed. Parts was about $200 so paid about $350-400/hr for labor but Yanis was knowledgeable.

    Yanez assisted us with replacing our water heater that broke and created a large leak on Father’s Day. Despite it being a holiday he was quick, friendly, and professional! I was amazed that he was able to replace the water heater the same day. I really appreciated his help.

    Long overdue review for DYZ. Yanez and his assistant replaced the main water valve which they had to dig underneath a bay window. They even helped plant back the shrubs afterwards. Almost 2 year later, the shrubs are still doing great! Great service and theyll be missed in MD! Z was great in coordinating and educating me on MD water lines too.

    I hired Yanez/DYZ plumbing to install a new sewage line and plumbing for a closet converted to a half bath. The project went great and I could not be happier with the result. Yanez was extremely knowledgeable and was able to make our vision come true while also providing his own recommendations. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the whole process with every member of the team. I would highly recommend DYZ plumbing/Yanez to anyone looking for plumbing work and will definitely be using them in the future if needed.

    I recently had the pleasure of using DYZ Plumbing services, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the experience. Dionieio, the service technician who assisted me, was truly exceptional.He took the time to thoroughly explain the issue with my AC condensation drain and walked me through every step of the process. This transparency was greatly appreciated, as it gave me confidence in the work being done. Not only was Dionieio transparent, but he was also incredibly efficient.Overall, my experience with DYZ Plumbing and Dionieio was excellent.     I dont write many online reviews, but DYZ Plumbing is fantastic, so I wanted to pass it on. I had two experiences with them recently.We called them the first time on a Sunday night for a non-emergency issue, and they set an appointment for 10 the next day. At 10:00 they were here (!). The person making appointments was friendly and willing to work around my schedule. The plumbers were very respectful and hard working, and answered all my questions (I had a lot). They didnt charge to diagnose the problem ( The other company we called was going to charge us over $70 just to tell us what was wrong.) and their rate was reasonable for the actual fix. They worked to clean up after themselves. The second time we had a similar experience, with the timing and knowledge and friendliness and price. This was by far the best experience Ive had with plumbing companies. Both my husband and I were very impressed with DYZ and highly recommend them. Thank you DYZ!

    I discovered my hot water heater was leaking around 4:30PM and started looking for someone to replace it online. Not knowing who to call I selected DYZ Plumbing because of good reviews and the fact that they were a local company. When I called a very friendly lady said they could have someone come check it out in 90 minutes. To make this short at 6 PM they showed up and by 8PM I had a new electric hot water installed. They were very professional, neat and thorough. They left the basement cleaner than when they arrived. I will definitely call DYZ in the future for any plumbing issues I have. I was 100% satisfied and very happy with the work, price and timeliness. 👍👍👍👍👍

    We have used DYZ twice and will call them every time we have a plumbing need now! Both times they were on time and extremely considerate of our home and belongings, given that the work can be wet and messy. They were transparent about pricing and presented additional options when there were any to share. I also appreciated their availability--both calls were not urgent but still had someone here pretty quickly and the job completed the same day. Really love finding reliable, honest, local companies to work with and for plumbing, DYZ is it!

    I have used DYZ plumbing on several occasions and was totally satisfied with their work. Fast forward, at the end of April I received my water bill for $750.00. I got several estimates from other plumbing companies - they seemed to have different explanations on how to fix the main water leak. Called DYZ plumbing. They came out, identified the location of the leak and thoroughly explained what it would take to fix the problem. DYZ came on the agreed upon date. They did an excellent job replacing the main water line without breaking up the sidewalk in front of my home. Which saved us money - did not have to hire someone to replace that section of sidewalk. Their attention to detail is priceless! They truly take pride in their work. DYZ shows the upmost respect for your home and cleanup after themselves. I am completely satisfied with the wonderful work done. I was stressed out about such a major repair. Because of the great job DYZ did, that stress is gone!     DYZ plumbing has amazing customer service and went the extra miles (yes with an s) to complete the replacement of our water heater. I live out of state and they made it extremely easy to coordinate and complete the repair. They showed up to the house at 8pm at night to investigate the issue and stayed until midnight to complete the replacement. They were also very flexible when they had to come back to finalize a few parts on the install. Their service manager Z is extremely professional and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for any plumbing repairs you require in your home or rental units!

    This is the second time I have used/contacted DYZ Plumbing. Everything about the company was professional, from the phone calls to the emails to the in person repair visit. They are courteous and respectful of my time and my home. (Things that a lot of other businesses could learn from them…)The master plumber, who came with a fellow plumber, was top notch. Not only did they bring uninstall the perfect new kitchen faucet, but before they did that, they replaced the old sink valves, which to my surprise were leaking under the cabinet.     We had an issue with our plumbing shortly after buying our house. We called another plumbing company and the guy ripped huge chunks of drywall out and then wanted to charge a ridiculous amount of money to replace a seal. Told him to leave and found DYZ. They were quick to respond, found and fixed the correct issue, and explained everything along the way.We had another plumbing issue a year later and they were again quick to respond and very thorough. Every single person I interact with is professional and courteous. They always take the time to show me the cause of the issue and are very upfront with the entire process.I keep their magnet on our fridge and they will be the first company I call for any future projects.

    DYZ Plumbing has come out to our house several times over the years, including twice during covid. They come out either the same day as I call, or within 2 days even for small jobs. They are always prompt and professional, with an obviously deep knowledge of plumbing so they can make sure the fixes stay fixed for a long time. Highly recommend!

    Cant give enough stars! Have used DYZ several times and I cant say enough good things. Great customer service, and a great plumber.I believe some of the issues DYZ has worked on, other plumbers would have given up, but they stuck with it and solved some difficult problems.Theyve always given us good estimates and kept us informed throughout the process if there were any changes with detailed explanations of why.Theyve gone the extra mile for us several times and our family truley appreciates it.Thank you DYZ and while we hope to not have any more plumbing issues in the future, it is reassuring to know if we do DYZ is there to help.

    Do yourself a favor and save your time, just call these guys, they are STELLAR! Yanez is a master plumber and it shows. He showed up with his +1 and immediately knew more about the situation than I couldve imagined. Yanez provided a thorough and clear explanation of my plumbing situation, the steps he was going to take, and any possibilities that may arise as he did his work. He is very familiar with the area and was able to explain what kind of piping is likely in my house based on other houses nearby (theyre almost all the same).After Yanez was done working he demonstrated the fix and explained in detail what he found and how to prevent my problem from arising again anytime soon.If you get Yanez when you call DYZ Plumbing youll be in for a treat. As a tradesman myself I understand you need to let the master do their work. Show them what they need to know and get out of the way so they can work their magic.Ill keep DYZ in mind if I ever have another plumbing issue.

    They were very fast coming to my house to fix my water heater that at leaked all over the floor, and dealt with scheduling the inspection afterwards. The company is very communicative and know what they are doing. Yanez was the main plumber and did a great job! Would highly recommend.

    From start to finish these cats were great. We had a Water heater that was leaking and they were able to come the same day (or rather evening). It was a long job, arriving at 8 PM and leaving at 2 AM. Even when I said they could come back in the morning the next day to finish it their first concern was for my property . . . the water heater was in real bad shape and could have blown causing a lot of damage; they werent going to leave the job unfinished. Professional, friendly and most of all excellent workers. Excellent price with high quality parts, seriously, the Rheem Water heater if I had bought it at Home Depot would have been about 1200 dollars (75 Gal) so when you chop that off the price, it was completely affordable. I highly recommend these cats.

    So impressed! The two gentlemen that came to my home actually ended up coming a day early. The anticipated remedy and cost for my seriously clogged kitchen drain was clearly explained.     The experience that I had with DYZ Plumbing is something I cant put words to. I had a complete sewage line collapse in freezing weather and the DYZ team spent hours in the cold finding the problem. I ended up having to have a full sewage line replacement to the house, which they did through so many road blocks. Ive heard horror stories of plumbers and their experiences, this experience felt like a family member was helping me. The pricing was amazing, DYZ employees amazing, and the work flawless. I have never written a review before and this might be my last. They earned every bit of 5 stars and I wish I could give them more. I cannot recommend them enough for the amazing work they do.

    I called DYZ Plumbing early evening on a Friday with questions about a sewer cleanout plug (the previous owner of the home for some reason did not have one). Z gave me great and honest advice and advised that I reach out to my HOA first to see if it were something they could handle or possible provide their own plumber. Welp, I ended up having to call DYZ back to provide services and I am glad I did. Z was able to schedule me the next day in the afternoon. I liked how Z called to let me know the gentlemen were running a few mins late because they had to sanitize the equipment after their last stop. Yanis and Joshua arrived ready to work and got straight to it. I had another 2pm appt and was worried I would be late but Yanis ensured I wouldnt and that replacing the plug would take about 20 mins. They were professional and showed me everything they were doing and all the old cast iron pieces that had to be removed. Great service and company!!! - V. Brimm

    Was able to get someone out within 24 hours to fix a non emergency issue with our drains. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. They kept me informed every step of the way and made clear anything they thought might be an issue. The work was completed in a reasonable time frame and they cleaned up after themselves. They also were really nice to my cats and were always considerate when going in and out of the house to make sure they didnt escape or get smushed. The cost was reasonable for the area around ($600) I mean plumbing issues are always going to be expensive but for the money we paid they made sure as much as possible the issue would not easily or soon reoccur. They used a fancy hydro pressure machine rather than a snake which reached deeper and cleaned more thoroughly than any drain snake could reach.

    25 May 2021 - Installed new garbage disposal & corrected old piping.FYI - with/since Covid, DYZ sanitizes their equipment & themselves between appointments. They also sanitized my space before leaving. We ALL wore masks.Best plumbers I have ever had work in my home. They were respectful of my property. They explained everything in advance, I signed and agreed to the work, and they got to it. Before leaving, as they cleaned up (they brought a drop cloth!) one master plumber tested everything.They even corrected bad plumbing by a bygone plumber/company.Thanks!

    Thank the stars above that I found DYZ Plumbing! After one plumber told me I had to replace the line going to the sewer because of roots, I called DYZ for a second opinion. Yes, I could replace the line or I could let them clean out the roots for 1/5 of the price. The plumber was very honest that this could fix the problem for months or even years but there was no guarantee. I decided to just clean the line. What a professional, honest, affordable business. Highly recommended.

    Had a blockage causing the downstairs toilet to overflow. Tried to find a plumber to come out late Saturday and never heard a response from the company I called. I did some more searching early Sunday and found DYZ. Gave them a call and they were able to send someone out in the morning. Explained everything that would happen and showed me what was being done. Thorough and took his time to make sure the job was done right. Price was fair and the problem resolved. Also received additional tips for preventing the problem in the future. My first experience with a plumber was awful, but DYZ changed my mind. Hopefully I don’t have to, but I would gladly hire them again.

    They replaced my broke garbage disposal and all the terrible plumbing under the sink that the previous owners jerry rigged themselves. The price seemed steep initially (fixed rate instead of hourly), but based on the quality of work and the plumber staying longer to make sure everything worked properly, I cant recommend this company enough.

    I was beyond impressed with this company! I called them at 6:40 am and they had someone at my house by 9! Janus was very courteous and professional and made sure that I understood everything he was doing. He even stayed behind while I ran the dishwasher to make sure the issue had been resolved.     Amazing and responsive team showed up on a Sunday afternoon to tackle a challenging issue. The dispatch office respectfully talked us through step by step as they recommended solutions and made us feel comfortable about our options.     We called on the Sunday before Memorial Day when we noticed our sump was running continuously and there was hot water spraying in from somewhere. The technician methodically addressed the issue and isolated the problem. He was professional, explained what was going on and how he was diagnosing the problem one step at a time.     Like all previous reviews Ive read on this site, I was very pleased with the quality of the services provided by this plumbing company! I wanted to try someone other than those big name companies with those big prices to match, as well as someone local. Read reviews for DYZ and decided to give them a try. They were available almost immediately, and showed up at my door within 15 minutes of my cal. When Janus arrived, I apprised him of my problem and he went right to work. He also took the time to explain in great detail what he thought the problem was, his approach, estimated cost, etc. It was a difficult blockage in our lower lever, and the access point in the utility room was covered by floor tiles, but Janus never gave up; pulled out his high tech electronic detector and started detecting. Needless to say, Janus is very good at what he does and found the access point and started the next phase. He assured me that he located the blockage and would use a jet water system to attempt to clear it. Because of the various Y connectors involved, it would be tricky to access the blockage from the clear out pipe in the front yard, be he was very persistent and never gave up, even when I thought it may not work. I then suggested perhaps he could consult with his on-staff Master Plumber for ideas. I felt quite foolish when he said I am the Master Plumber! So then, I realized that he really does know what hes doing. Needless to say, he was able to successfully correct the problem and never displayed any impatience, anger or frustration throughout the entire ordeal. He spent 6-7 hours at my home, and never complained once. He also arranged to return a couple of days later to install a water back-flow valve that will prevent sewage from backing up inside our basement. All in all, I am very please with the quality of their work, their professionalism and work ethic! I would not hesitate to refer them to others and use them for future work!Great work Janus!

    I discovered a leak in the piping in my basement. Not only did Yanez and Joshua replace the piping, Yanez was able to point out other damaged areas, and replaced those leaking pipes as well. Potentially saving me from a future flood. All of the damaged piping was replaced and rerouted in a more efficient manner- making it easier to access in the future. He was extremely knowledge and explained to me everything he was doing, as well as recommendations and advice to get the longest life out of the pipes. Yanez and Joshua were both very professional and clean throughout the entire job. 10/10, I would definitely recommend this company. I will be using them for all future plumbing purposes.

    I suddenly needed an emergency hot water heater replacement Friday night at 12:30 AM. After calling quite a few places they were by far the most thorough, friendly, and informative in inquiring about my problem and how they could help me.     This is my second time using DYZ. From the moment you call, youre treated with courtesy. I asked for a specific day and I was accommodated. When they arrived the plumber and I went over the problem. He explained to me the process for repairing my hot water heater and the estimated amount of repairs and we proceeded. I had a lot of mineral built up in my tank and he not only explained what it was, but also showed me in a bucket what was coming out. He replaced multiple parts and basically I have a new water heater minus the tank itself. I also received a follow up call a few hrs later to make sure everything was working. Definitely recommend DYZ.

    OMG! They are a life saver! My basement was flooding around 6 in the morning and they came 20 minutes early and change the pipe that was broken and fixed the issue in about 5 minutes or less these people are the greatest! They came quick and it was a huge emergency. I believe the guy name is Jonis he is amazing!

    Yanez was/is a true professional. He came in our home late in the evening (2:00 am). Took care of our problem and informed us of something’s we may need to do in order for us to not have to encounter our previous issue again.     Crisis averted! We came home from vacation to find that a copper pipe above our water heater had a leak. Yanez came out after 9:00 on a Saturday night and replaced the leaky pipe. He was fast, professional and did a great job! DYZ has done great work for us before, but they now have a customer for life. Thanks Yanez!

    This is the best plumbing company out there. I called them to fix a burst pipe in my house in December and responded within an hour. While looking for the root of the problem, they noticed an exposed fire suppression (sprinkler) line in my attic. They said to call when I would like them to return to insulate the line. I called yesterday, they came today and said no charge. They said it was part of the original service. All I can say is free is great and their service was excellent.

    I had Yanes and his apprentice Julio as the technicians who came to my residence. I have to say they were the best plumbers I have met since I have lived here. My hot water heater was leaking and the first thing Yanes did was figure out if it could be fixed before ultimately figuring out it had to be replaced due to pinhole leak that was there for awhile. Yanes is an individual who you can see takes pride in his work and is extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend DYZ Plumbing to anyone and everyone for my experience with them was top notch. Very professional but at the same time very personable. We had the inspector come to make sure our new hot water system was up to code and even the inspector said Yanes does great work as he is known for the other work hes done. Unfortunately this rating system only goes to 5 stars but I would give them more if it let me! 5+ stars.
