We recently hired Custom to do a kitchen remodel and remove a few walls to open up the floor plan of our home. We did a lot of research on other similar companies before we decided to go with them and we’re so glad that we did! Their prices were comparable to the other companies but we felt that they had a clear understanding of what we wanted, even advising us on what was and wasn’t possible with our expectations of the finished project. They handled everything from the very beginning - working with the architects and the city and even assisting us with our design and material selections. We highly recommend them!!!

When my in laws were no longer able to live on their own, we decided to bring them to live with us but we still wanted them to maintain their independence. So we decided to build a small in law suite on our property and finding the right contractor was quite the task but we knew we had a right fit when we met with Custom Home Improvements. They were very knowledgeable and assisted us with everything from the very beginning with the designs and permits all the way through to the finished project. The results are stunning with a full kitchen, aging in place full and half bathrooms and 2 very large bedrooms. We couldn’t be happier with them and the work they do and being able to be close to our loved ones is priceless!

I hired CHI to build a master suite addition to my newly purchased home after they had been highly recommended by a friend. They were very knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. They laid out the time frame from the start and much to my surprise finished before their own deadline and stayed within my budget. The new addition is exactly what I had pictured and looks like it was built with the house and not as an after thought. I will use them for future home improvements and will absolutely pass the word along to everyone I know that needs a good, reliable company.

This was the first project I had attempted all by myself so I was extremely nervous. I had a sunken living room that I had hated for years. It had the same carpet as the dining room and was old and stained. It was also a danger to me and I always had to say watch your step when anyone came in. I had five different contractors come and make a bid. The one I felt most comfortable with was Custom Home Improvements, Inc. They were patient, knew what they were talking about and explained to me what had to be done, how long it would take and the cost. I was impressed with their knowledge and liked them immediately. Once I decided to go with them I got to thinking about my kitchen. I didnt like that floor either. So we made an add on. Well, one by one I decided the entry hall floor had to go along with the laundry room and vanity bath. more add ons. They did not suggest those add ons or try to influence me in any way. They only wanted me to be happy with the final product. I am beyond happy. The sunken living room is no longer a danger to me or to any guest. And the rooms are beautiful,.

Custom Home Improvements did an excellent job that transformed our house. You can tell from their pictures how they opened up the space between the kitchen and the formal dining area. They meticulously matched our custom floors and crown molding. They relocated the pantry and made some custom shelves.They secured all the city permits and took all precautions to minimize dust during the demo process. When they were done, they removed all the debris and left everything clean.They are very professional and reasonably priced. They did an excellent job communicating with us throughout the process. We are going back to them for a second job. Highly recommend them for all your remodeling needs!

We hired Custom Home Improvements, Inc. for a kitchen remodel and flooring after the winter storm. They finished the project in budget and even before their own deadline. They were so helpful and Shan even advised us on designs and materials. We couldn’t be any happier with our new kitchen! They were able to change our bathroom layout, enlarge our shower and make it more more practical for our daily use. Their custom cabinets are so beautiful and everything came out so wonderful. I hired Custom Home Improvements for a room addition after they came highly recommended by one of my neighbors. They took care of everything from start to finish including getting the architectural drawings, permits and even the HOA approval. There was a slight delay because of the weather and some of the materials werent available but i was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and relatively smoothly the project came along. They were very transparent and communicated with me several times a day and made sure that I was informed through every step of the progress. The end product exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to any one looking for top quality work, attention to detail and fair prices.

Contacted Custom Home Improvements after the February freeze caused several pipes to burst in my home. I was so overwhelmed at what to do but after talking with them, my anxiety began to ease. They were very knowledgeable and it was such a relief having only to communicate with one person for the different parts of the renovation. They were mindful of my stress over the situation and got my home put back together well before their projected finish date. I will use them again in the future, hopefully for planned projects this time

Shanton & Charlotte was very professional and courteous when we first met, they replaced my windows and doors. That was why I called them when I decided to update my kitchen!!! The quote that Shanton &Charlotte gave me turned out to be really close to the quote that was only going to get my kitchen cabinets resurfaced.I got my entire kitchen remodeled for the same as the other quote!!!1. Completely gutted the entire kitchen2. All brand new custom built cabinets3. The floor was stripped of the linoleum (2 layers)(I didn’t know) and a very apportioned and workable tile flooring, that I love4. Painting5. All the doors was cleaned and refinished to look like new6. Replaced all the hardware (doors, cabinets)7. Made electricial changes as needed and hung new lightingThe Great Room and dining room as well as the halls carpet was removed and wood flooring was installed.Then later, after enjoying the work done in the kitchen, I invited Shanton to give me a quote for updating the master bathroom cabinet and a new shower!!!They updated the second bath and did some really nice things that we have been getting a lot of compliments!!!All and all they are a company I will use again!!!I want to say about the cost, it was price affordable!!!

We were devastated when the pipes burst in our home earlier this year. Fortunately for us, Custom Home Improvements was doing a project for our next door neighbor. They came right over, got us a bid quickly and got to work right away- even while working on our neighbors house. We had them do some wall openings and master bath renovations, as well. Our home is better than it was before and we couldnt be happier!!

As a senior citizen, it’s hard to know who to trust. CHI came highly recommended by a friend of mine, who is also a senior. And my friend was right! They did a beautiful wooden deck with a 2nd floor balcony. Shan is so patient and accommodating - he recommended using certain wood and paint so that I don’t have to worry about having to do a lot of up keep- which is important at my age. They are very trustworthy- showing up when they said they would and finishing on time!!

I love this team! Their professionalism, their communication and commitment to customer service and satisfaction are unparalleled. I could not be more grateful for the knowledge they have and advice they provided. This was the third time I’ve had them work on my home. I’ve previously had them redo a bathroom, home office, and tile work in my kitchen. This time they did a complete redo of my other bathroom; painted my dining room and two story living room, stairwell and hallway; installed a new ceiling fan; installed a microwave above my range (allowing for much needed counter space in my rather small kitchen), plus several other small things that really needed to be done to make my house the beautiful home I wanted.They are kind, courteous and no question that I had was too silly for them to answer and give guidance. They were always on time and even worked weekends to get the job completed on time. The skill level and workmanship has me in awe.Shanton and Char (and their crew) are the best. I am so happy with them and their work! I would, or should I say will, definitely hire them again. … there’s a vision of a new deck bubbling up in my head.For comparison I’ve included a before pic of the way too green living room and a before pic of the outdated teal bathroom.

We decided to add a master suite addition to our home and contacted other contractors who said that we would need architectural drawings (which costs around $10,000) before they could even give us a bid. A friend told us about Custom Home Improvements and the absence of drawings did not faze them. They were so patient with us, took meticulous notes and they were able to give us an exact quote based on our explanation of what we wanted. They took care of everything from the drawings, permits and even getting the HOA approval for us. They were so helpful with their layout and design suggestions and we are thrilled with our new bedroom oasis!
