Scott completed a project to demo and replace our existing wood deck with a composite deck. It was a particularly difficult job due to the limited working space, but Scott and team came up with a great plan to address all of our issues. The new deck is far superior and we are extremely pleased with the quality and workmanship. Scott listened to our requests and made reasonable changes throughout the project in order to ensure we had a satisfactory end result. We would certainly use Wood Crafters in the future and highly recommend them to anyone considering deck/outdoor remodeling.

We wanted a new wooden deck. We had a great experience working with Scott. He really listened to our needs and concerns, and didnt rush us into making decisions. He recommended great additions to our initial plan. The final product was wonderful! We constantly have people asking who built our deck!

Woodcrafters did a great job restoring our deck from damage during the tax day flood and general damage over time. They were professional, courteous, and on-time. They stuck to their estimate even when encountering some unexpected extra clean-up along the way. This year our yard flooded again during Harvey, but our deck remained intact due to the solid construction and high quality materials from Woodcrafters. We have used them for a couple of projects over the years and I would definitely hire them again in the future.

We had our patio built ~ 3 years ago by Scott and his crew and couldnt be happier. The quality of the work stands the pass of time (and Houston weather). The patio looks just as beautiful today as it did when it was just built. The cherry on top is how responsive and pleasant they were the entire time the project was ongoing. I recommended them without reservations.

Started with Scott Ward coming out to see us promptly after the call. Scott listened and put together a detail CAD drawing of our project. It went through various revision until we had a final. Very detailed, listened and worked with us to get what we wanted. Construction began on time and finished in a reasonable time, always prompt, there was a crew of only two, but Charles was excellent and listened to our input and changes, there were a couple of minor errors, but corrected promptly when identified. The end result is a fabulous deck addition and outdoor kitchen with built in grill. It was on time and on budget. Bill bunch is owner and came by to make sure our project was in line with his companys expectations.

After seeing the quality and attention to detail in several neighbors homes, my husband and I decided to add a tongue and grove cedar patio cover to our back porch. Bill Bunchs professional crew sought our opinion and paid attention to our every comment, in the project design. This was critical as our home is a remodeled 1954 ranch style requiring some modifications. The result is lovely. The work of artisans! I would highly recommend Wood Crafters! Thank you Bill!

Wood Crafters/Rangel Construction is a company you can count on. They truly perform the valued pride of workmanship ethic. They strive to make your project the best it can be and will stand by their work. They work hard for you to get through all the city and state permits you need even if resistance has to be overcome. If somehow you find something that might be wrong, they will return and fix it. When they start, they will take it to the finish. There is no start and then let it sit as a mess while they work another project. All this is done at a reasonable price. You cant go wrong.

They even suggested beautiful improvements and refinements that truly reflected not only their professional experience, but also their aesthetic insight. Bill Bunch and Wood Crafters, a gifted trade partner who also contributed to KIVA’s Houston showroom, responded to a short-notice call from KIVA and really stepped up and “wowed” all of us with their outdoor kitchen, designed to complement the design and materials used on the house, and seat as many as eight at one time around its radiused Silestone countertop. Bill’s team designed, constructed and stained the freestanding outdoor kitchen at their Houston shop, then delivered and installed the piece on the patio (we had some delivery assistance from Jessica Alba, the celebrity guest; not too bad a perk if I may say so).Many thanks to Kitchenaid and Bill and his Wood Crafters team, for partnering with KIVA to provide a truly extra-ordinary finishing touch to this incredible project. Without their help, the Beach family would have missed out on the magic that an outdoor kitchen brings to the Texas summers. The craftsmanship of the work is impeccable, and teamed with Kitchenaid appliances, it should provide many years of satisfaction to this young, deserving family.
