Highly recommend Big City! Ray and his team were professional, communicative and most importantly, did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel. They gutted the bathroom in our 1930s bungalow, replaced the floor/walls/ceiling, installed new tile, fixtures, lighting, hardware and vanity. They even replaced an original window with a new (smaller) one and matched the original brick perfectly. Would definitely work with Ray and team again!

Ray(owner) and his crew (Alberto & Ruben) brought our master bathroom exactly to my vision! This is not my first project so I wanted to work with a GC who communicated well....and we got it with Ray! I designed the bathroom(color scheme and layout) purchased some of the materials(tile, bathtub, sinks, faucets, shower fixture set, tub filler, medicine cabinet mirrors and light sconces) and Ray and his crew did the calculations to make sure it worked. Of all the contractors we have used in the past, Big City was the best experience hands down! See the before and after pics for yourself!

We are SO happy with our down-to-studs bathroom remodel! The whole team at Big City Construction was wonderful to work with from start to finish, and we can’t wait to work with them again on our next project.I originally found Big City Construction on Houzz, where sent a request for more information. Ray sent back a very fast response, and we had a great chat where he gave me transparent expectations and estimated prices. After a visit, Ray was even able to provide me with a 3D rendering of the bathroom, plus a digital copy of the quote before we got started. The itemized invoice with payment plan was very easy to understand.One we got the demo started, I was so impressed how clean the team kept my home. They put down paper to protect the floors, and plastic barriers to maintain the dust. They even swept up before the left each day.We experienced a hurricane in the middle of our renovation, and Alberto, Ruben, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to prepare the bathroom before the storm. We were without power for a week, but that’s didn’t stop them from plugging forward as soon as it was safe to get back to work.Our bathroom came out even better than we expected, and we are so happy with the results. Was already working with Ray on getting a quote for a new fence when a storm came through and knocked the existing fence down. Neighbors have big dogs so after the storm we urgently needed work done. Ray and his team made that happen. Two days later I had a new fence and gate installed. Fence looks great and they cleaned up their work area perfectly. No evidence of them ever being there. I will definitely use them again for some indoor projects and I highly recommend them!!

We used Ray and his team at Big City Construction to build a custom outdoor kitchen. We had a pool being built at the same time and Ray worked with them to make sure there were no conflicts. To make this review short, Ray is honest, reliable, very responsive, no BS and and all around great guy and a great contractor. My kitchen is awesome and I would hire him again to build/remodel a home and another outdoor kitchen.

Ray and his team did an excellent job with tile work for our bathroom. I really appreciated that he communicated throughout the process and had a good understanding of what I was wanting. When there were problems his team worked to resolve them and still provide the best outcomes. Best of all they cleaned up after themselves! Having worked with several other contractors for other parts of the project I would re-hire Big City anytime as they really outdid themselves with professionalism, cleanliness, and excellent workmanship.

We contacted Ray to redo the floors on the entire first floor of our house, upstairs hallway and stairs. He was super knowledgeable and kept in touch with us the entire time. He was able to accommodate our need of staying in the house during construction as well! We went from engineered hardwoods throughout to a wood look tile. They did a PHENOMENAL job, paid meticulous attention to detail and went above and beyond during prep to minimize dust. I would 10/10 recommend Big City Construction.

We worked with big city construction for our kitchen remodeling project. Ray and the crew are professional, courteous and they get the job done ✅. We are really impressed with their attention to details and their attitude of doing it right the first time. Ray also helped us designed the layout of all the cabinets, island and wet bar. The cool software he uses helped us visualize the design quickly, make changes, and generate the plans, very efficient!! Since we have several angles in the kitchen, it’s tricky to get the semi-custom cabinets fit nicely, but Ray was super patient with us throughout the design and installation process, and the final result turns out beautiful. Their craftsmanship and customer service is top notch and they are just a great and reliable group of guys to work with. We are so grateful to have them partner with us throughout this project.

Ray, the owner of Big City Construction, is simply amazing! He remolded the kitchen in my home after it sustained water damage. He also remolded our first floor half bathroom. Ray and his team were timely, kind and very professional. He assessed our needs and put our kitchen back together perfectly - you cannot tell that any work has been done! He installed beautiful new cabinets that complemented the decor of the home and we was even able to find and match tile that was over 8 years old! Given that we also had an insurance claim, Ray was very accommodating in working with us to complete the paperwork requested by the insurance company. If I could give Ray more than 5 stars, I would. He is a contractor that you can trust and is very client-service oriented. He exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable.

Ray, the owner of Big City Construction and of Big City Cabinets, is very nice and knowledgeable. He has been kind and respectful during my dealings with him.Ray went above and beyond by providing great service. Without a hitch, he sold me a quality white J&K shaker custom bathroom vanity. However, for my insurance claim it had to be installed by a DIFFERENT contractor that I’ll call C. After C installed the vanity, it needed normal door and drawer adjustments which C should have done but wouldn’t. In addition, turns out C wasn’t qualified and didn’t know how to do the adjustments.Ray of Big City, came to the rescue. Although Ray had already made me whole by selling the vanity to me, he in addition, went above and beyond and came to my home and made the adjustments himself. Yes, he used his gas and spent his time to come and adjust the vanity even though it was the other company’s responsibility to do so at the time of installation. I was impressed with how skilled and knowledgeable Ray was as he turned the various draw/door dials and screws to move the drawers and doors into alignment. Very impressive to see the results of this vanity’s capacity to align using Ray’s skills. That’s a good product, and awesome on Ray’s part. . It was something to see. Me and my husband definitely recommend Ray and look forward to working with him on future endeavors.SD

We were on a set budget to have the work done.Ray came over and explained what would need to be done, showed us pictures of other bathrooms hed done so we could not only see his work but get ideas.Short and sweet: from start to finish it was painless!. They arrived at 9:30 am every morning, and worked until lunch. Broke for lunch for 1 hour and back at work. Their work was excellent, they cleaned up every day, they were very nice and very courteous.The bathroom is beautiful and I could not be happier.
