They provided a temporary solution to keep things functioning, until they could return to address the issue fully by digging up and repairing the sewer lines. They dedicated an entire day to ensure the job was done correctly. They showed us the problem and executed the necessary repairs with utmost professionalism. Their expertise got our homes plumbing system back up and running smoothly. They did an exceptional job! We would highly recommend their fantastic services.

When youre in desperate need of a plumber, Jared is the guy you pray for. He once saved our holiday season from disaster. We had previously hired him for our kitchen renovation, so when we faced a plumbing emergency just a few days before the holiday, Jared was our first call. It was a bitterly cold and rainy night in Hickory when we discovered our shower stall wasnt draining. It didnt seem like an urgent situation, so when Jared offered to come right away, I suggested we wait until the next day. By morning, it was clear that we were facing a significant problem. The weather had worsened, with freezing rain pouring down all day. Jared was quick to respond, despite the terrible weather. He discovered that the line from our house to the septic tank was blocked. Braving the freezing rain, he dug up our line, installed a clean-out port, removed the root obstructing the flow, and put everything back together. We had been expecting a dozen guests for the holidays. Without his prompt assistance, we would have had to cancel the gathering, forfeiting airfares for three families - a house with no running water can hardly accommodate twelve people! His charges were more than reasonable, and his service was top-notch. Jared is the kind of professional who doesnt waste any time. He gets the job done quickly, efficiently, and with a positive attitude. We really appreciate him, and were sure you will too.

Our hot water heater suddenly stopped working, so I reached out to a plumbing company immediately. I was under the assumption that Id have to wait for a day or two for it to be replaced. However, when I spoke to Conner, he assured me that he would attempt to reorganize some tasks to attend to my issue the very same day. And he did! He sent over Jared, who was not only friendly and well-informed but also made sure to clean up after the job was done. By 5:00PM, our hot water heater was installed and functioning. My wife was able to enjoy a hot shower shortly after. This particular plumbing company will definitely be my top choice for any future plumbing needs. I reached out for a quote on a new plumbing setup for our primary bathroom and the head of Curtis & Sons Plumbing, Jared, came to evaluate the situation. After discussing a range of possibilities with us, he recommended that we first get the leakage fixed by a specialist well-versed in leakage repairs, then take a moment to really determine our needs for the new plumbing, and get back to him when were ready. Instead of just taking our money, he declined a larger project to ensure our needs were met first. Thats truly commendable. Jared has definitely earned my respect, and I wouldnt think twice about reaching out to him in the future. I strongly endorse their services!

I reached out to them at noon, and in less than sixty minutes, Marvin was there, pointing out the issues with my water heater. He walked me through all the possible solutions, never once pushing me to make a quick decision. By late afternoon, my new water heater was fully functional. Just out of interest, I contacted a local competitor in Hickory and shared the service I received and the price I paid. They admitted they couldnt have done it for less than $300 more than what I paid. This plumbing service truly prioritizes their customers over profit, which is a commendable trait these days. Ive already recommended them to my family and friends.

I initially believed my crawl space problem was just a minor crack, but it turned out to be a more significant issue. Ernest, Marvin, and Raymond, along with their team of skilled workers, dedicated their entire day to working in my crawl space and flawlessly replacing the pipes. Since their intervention, the humidity in the crawl space has returned to normal, and it now resembles the ideal crawl spaces youd find on a Google search. I am totally convinced that these gentlemen from Curtis & Sons Plumbing are the most skilled professionals for this kind of work. Ernest really impressed me. He was professional, good at communicating, and very precise with his work. EDIT: My first feedback was for some plumbing work that Ernest did. He managed to fix a leak and brought my water heater up to Hickory regulations, amongst other things. Im here to update my review because he just installed a heat pump for me. Just like the previous job, he was very good at keeping me in the loop right from the start. He provided a fair quote and stuck to it. He made use of Hickory energy rebates, some of which I knew about and some not. He was punctual, his work was once again very precise, and he took the time to educate me on how to operate the heat pump. After having Ernest handle these 2 jobs, i can say that he really enjoys his work and you can tell he is dedicated to keeping the customer happy.

After settling into our brand-new residence, both Jared (service advisor) and Raymond (onsite plumbing technician) were exceptional in their approachability, customer-focus, and problem-solving skills. It turns out that our on-demand water heater unit wasnt the problem as we initially thought, but rather the valve for the propane tank was not fully open, preventing full propane from reaching the water heater. Raymond was punctual, polite, well-informed, and even brought his own protective shoe covers. Id struggle to find a better, more comprehensive plumbing service than what Jared and Raymond provided.

Conner and Marvin from the plumbing company we hired have done an excellent job on both my property and a relatives. We would wholeheartedly recommend them. These guys are not only good people but extremely professional too. They sorted out our heating problem and replaced the ancient plumbing pipes which had finally given way at every conceivable connection. Given the enormity of the task, which included sorting out the plumbing in four apartment kitchens and bathrooms, as well as the basement where all the water from above had ended up, it took them a few days to finish the job. They were easy to talk to but id say their payment method could be improved. We had to make a large payment but were restricted by zelle (our preferred method), but this wasnt a problem caused by the plumbers. Although there are other payment methods, it can be difficult to keep track of the remaining balance if youre busy or forget to keep tabs. Will definitely give them a ring for any future plumbing needs.

However, after the pipes were correctly rerouted by this team, we had instant hot water throughout the house within 20 seconds. Marvin and Raymond were punctual, working diligently until the job was done right, and they stuck to the quoted price. They were reliable, friendly, honest, and stood behind their work. I had previously dealt with three other plumbers who were unreliable and performed subpar work. Ive already recommended this team multiple times and will continue to do so.

We had a straightforward issue with our master sink drain pipe that needed fixing. it was something we could have handled ourselves, but due to insurance requirements, we needed a licensed plumber to either do the job or inspect it. our new insurance policy with curtis & sons plumbing specified this to prevent policy cancellation. since we are on a fixed income, i reached out to several plumbers in hickory to get a quote for the simple task of unscrewing, cleaning, and reconnecting the drain pipe, which was slightly misaligned. the quotes i received varied greatly, with some as high as $225 just for the house call, excluding the actual repairs! however, the person i spoke to at curtis & sons plumbing was very understanding and offered to send someone that afternoon. however, since the sink wasnt in use, there was no urgency, so i scheduled an appointment a few days later. jared, the technician, arrived punctually. he confirmed my initial assessment of the problem and provided a very reasonable quote to complete the task and provide the necessary documentation for the insurance company. his efficiency was commendable, and his quote was significantly lower than all the other quotes i had received! i wouldnt hesitate to reach out to them in the future for any other plumbing repairs. im delighted to provide this review and will be posting more on other review sites as well. the overall experience was extremely pleasant. excellent job!

Im really impressed with how quickly and efficiently Curtis & Sons Plumbing handled our needs. marvin and ernest, who came to our home in hickory, were polite, professional, and punctual. They installed a 75-gallon water heater tank in just 2 hours, which was much appreciated. marvin and ernest also took the time to explain how to maintain the new water heater and assured us we could contact them if we needed further help. they also informed us about other services that their company provides. all the staff, including those who answered the phone and provided the quote, were equally helpful and efficient. i will definitely be reaching out to marvin and ernest for future plumbing needs.

Marvin was on the other end of the line and guided me through the necessary steps to prevent further water damage. In no time, Conner was at my doorstep, providing me with a range of solutions. We decided to upgrade to a Navien tankless water heater. Without wasting any time, he started working on the installation, even extending his hours into the evening so we could have hot water. This was especially important as we have young children who needed hot water. Later in the week, they took care of obtaining the necessary permit and even arranged for the inspection. All these tasks were completed within a week and the inspection was passed with flying colors! Im grateful for their service and will definitely recommend them to my friends in Hickory.

Their technician Jared, a proud father to a charming 6-month-old baby, arrived and was incredibly friendly and meticulous. The system was fixed, but he assured me that if any problems occurred within 30 days, Curtis & Sons Plumbing would return without any extra service charge. Jared was simply fantastic and seemed genuinely concerned, leading me to subscribe to their service plan. They are the fourth plumbing company Ive employed in Hickory, and from this point forward, theyll be my go-to for any plumbing needs.

Ernest and Conner from our preferred plumbing service were real problem solvers. We noticed water seeping onto our garage floor from the base of the home wall (the half bath was just on the other side of the wall). Initially, we had another plumber inspect it. He haphazardly cut away a portion of the drywall, took a quick look and informed us we had a slab leak. Without even turning off his van in our driveway, he billed us for a service call and advised us to hire a leak detector (which quoted us a minimum of $350 just for a visit). He further claimed that the recirculating pump in our home was the source of the leak due to it applying too much pressure in the lines. All things considered, he informed us we were dealing with: leak detection cost, slab leak and concrete slab repair, tile floor repair, and pump replacement - a multi-thousand dollar issue. After spending merely 15 minutes, he told us to call him once the leak detector was done. Something didnt feel right so we reached out to our now go-to plumbers after a friend recommended them. Ernest and Conner arrived, discovered a minor leak in a fitting and promptly repaired it (the first plumber didnt inspect high enough on the pipe/wall). There was no slab leak. They provided a thorough explanation of the problem and how they rectified it. We told them what the first plumber had told us and they checked the pump and pressure in the lines. The pressure was precisely at code and the pump was functioning well. They were very fair with their charges (service call and parts cost) and tidied up after their work. We will only be calling on Ernest and Conner for our plumbing needs in Hickory from now on!
