To find out that your furnace has to be turned off due to leaks is a lot to swallow in the dead of winter. GRapids Home Services made sure we stayed warm by providing space heaters and even got me on the schedule for a new finance the next day!

Grapids redid our entire plumbing inside and outside the house. The piping was old, corroded and leaky (cast iron) and they replaced it with PVC. They worked with our budget and when we were ready, they literally came the next day.They brought enough people to finish the job quickly and when they hit a snag, they did not charge us extra, even though they had to do another days worth of work including breaking concrete (and relaying it) to get to a pipe under the house.They are replacing our boiler next week.Ps. They threw in the new sub-pump and the chimney liner for free.They were also way cheaper than 3 other companies that bid on the job (complete plumbing and boiler replacement). Highly recommend!

Winter is approaching and my furnace is not coming on. I chose Grapids because the customer service rep, Rachael was awesome. She troubleshooted and gave suggestions. Unfortunately, it did not work and I was then scheduled. Tech Michael came out and assessed the problem and it needs a part. He was friendly, knowledgeable and gave options for the repair. Super happy I have found Grapids!

Our central AC went down on Sunday. We called and had a technician out by 11am on Monday. Our 30+ year old unit was dead. The technician offered a repair quote and replacement quote, highly recommending the replacement if possible because it would not last long. Knowing the age of the unit, we knew a replacement was the way to go. It was nice they were willing to work within our budget and needs. The new unit was installed today, Tuesday! Everyone from the office to sales to technicians was wonderful. Highly recommend! We feel we have a great new AC at a fair price and installed within 30hrs. Ethan was our salesperson. He was knowledgeable and very kind. Brent and Ramon were our installation crew and were very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. They made as little disruption as possible, attention to detail and pride in their workmanship was obvious. Definitely will be using this company again!

I started using Grapids last winter when my furnace went out on a Sunday in below zero temps. I was leaving on vacation the next morning, the company that installed my furnace would not come out and said the could come Monday but it would be considered an emergency with extra fees. My son uses Grapids and told me about their membership plan, with expedited service and discounts, I called them and they were there within 2 hours. The staff is great, there service is great and their prices are great!

I had a new AC/Heater unit put in two years ago and I was super impressed on how quickly it was done and all the experts they had on hand to deal with any issues that day. The support and check-ins I get throughout the past year have been great as well. I just had a check on the system by Jon and he did a super thorough job of explaining additional items I could add to make my experience even better. He also let me know about their monthly plan which now includes plumbing! The service is by far the best I have had and recommend them highly!

After having another HVAC company come out twice for faulty furnace, they were unable to diagnose the issue. We contacted locally owned Grapids. They sent Luke out on the service call. After some head scratching, testing and trying the most likely of things to no avail. Luke dug deeper and deeper into diagnosis. He told us he wasnt done until its actually fixed.Turned out to be a highly unusual issue triggering the shut down. He told us every step of the way what he was trying and what he was finding. Such a great representive and face of the company. We thank Grapids and especially Luke for the excellent follow through, communication and all around great service!

Cohen did a great job! GRapids kept me updated on when he was going to be arriving to the house to look at my water heater. I had to have it replaced due to the tank being cracked. He was able to get me a new tank and hook it up that same day and it was late in the day.I am only giving a 4 star because I got a random call from an electrical company saying they had to come out and hook up electrical to my water heater. I was completely blind sided that someone else had to come out. I didn’t get charged, but would have been nice to know. Especially since it was a week after my water heater was installed.

My technician was very thorough and after checking out all the pipes . he used a snake to clean out hair and other Debris. All of the staff was friendly, answered many questions and were professional. The work done to replace my ancient furnace and install AC will make me much more comfortable. The additional services scheduled by Grapids to do Asbestos Abatement, Electrical upgrades and duct cleaning also did excellent work. This started as an emergency call when we discovered our furnace was leaking water... Which was really alarming because I didnt think there was ever supposed to be water in it. I called Grapids, where we have a membership, and they sent someone out within 3 hrs. John was prompt and knowledgeable, and helped us navigate what was apparently the most solidly frozen A/C system he had seen yet this summer. John quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the physics of it to us, and set us up for getting thawed out. The next day a second technician Connor arrived to make the necessary repairs and refill our system with refrigerant, and add dye for a future visit to diagnose where our pinhole leak is. Both technicians were professional and courteous, and very friendly and respectful. Weve never had a bad visit with Grapids.

What an amazing experience we’ve had with Grapids! From start to finish the process was wonderful. Todd came out within hours of calling to get a quote to upgrade our furnace and add AC to our home. Our furnace was over 20 years old functioning but a bit of a head scratcher. Additionally we needed to upgrade our electrical panel. Grapids was able to subcontract that for us too. Tyler and Eric came out the very next day (bright and early) and spent the day reconstruction our HVAC system. Prior to their arrival we decided to add a humidifier to the unit. The office was seemlessly able to add that to our work order. Todd swang back out to check in on the progress and make sure we were happy. Throughout the day several members of Grapid came through to bring supplies and check in. The stars of the show were definitely Tyler and Eric who worked until after 7pm to complete the HVAC job. They worked well together and I could overhear them as I graded papers upstairs. They treated each other with respect and humor. It was so refreshing to have work done in our home by such wonderful people. They even took the time to FaceTime with my husband who was at work to show the final product and answer all of his questions. Without hesitation I will recommend Grapids (specifically Todd, Tyler and Eric) to anyone!

Luke came out to diagnose our A/C when it stopped working and was very thorough. He discovered it was a possible power issue and as we were heading towards a significant cost ($$$) to replace the control board in our unit he paused, and called in backup (Tanner) for a second opinion when he could’ve just told us that’s what it needed and called it a day. Lucky for us these guys knew what they were doing and there was something about our system that was unique and once he tested that it kicked right back on meaning it was a simple thermostat replacement. Going the extra mile to double check and confirm a diagnosis was really appreciated and Luke and Tanner did a great job checking every possibility to get our system back up and running. Their honesty and extra effort to find the right fix changed us from just a circumstantial customer to a long term customer. Thanks guys!

We had our water heater spring a leak... well, a pour, on Saturday and was told by our previous professor there was no one available till Monday... so we called GRapids on Monday and they were here within the hour! Ethan, our tech was very knowledgeable and professional. Our 17 year old HWH was done for :-( he patched it up so we could have water at least and ordered the new one. We signed up for their maintenance program and got 10%off and no service fee for todays call!

He cleaned up his work area well, and gave us a detailed invoice of the work he planned to do. We had them out for two Services in the same day. They first came out to replace a garbage disposal and later in the day to do a HVAC spring tune up. All 4 people that came were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all questions I had and were patient and respectful of our family and home. This was our first experience with Grapids and we are very satisfied and will for sure use them in the future when necessary!Updated review - we had them out again to replace our water heater. They were able to come out same day (without charging the emergency fee like another company we had called. They were great about going through our options with me and discussed everything and answered all questions. Water Heater was replaced the same day! Great service and technicians once again!

A few weeks ago, I emailed GRapids for a quote to fix the mishap work of a handyman. I requested a tech who is familiar with very old homes. Jacob came out and gave us a reasonable quote. Three weeks later, after I purchased a new toilet etc, Jacob came out today and worked quietly and quickly on our sink, toilet and bathtub repairs. Everything looked perfect! Jacob did an excellent job! No fuss and no mess left behind. What a job well done!!! 🎉🎉🎉
