If you have any plumbing issues, look no further! Andrew and Mark did an amazing job installing our tankless water heater, a new pressure valve to control the water pressure coming in from the main line, installed a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal, and re-did the piping under the kitchen sink so we had more space and no leaks! They arrived early and stayed late to ensure the job was done and we had running hot water. Were very appreciative of them especially when they found solutions to issues, like finding brick we didnt know existed behind a wall exactly where the vent pipe needed to go for the tankless water heater. Overall, very happy with the work done and will continue to use Mallick for all our plumbing needs!

Abbas came on time and replaced my hot and cold water valves. While here, he asked if there was anything else. I had two things, a non functional toilet and another toilet was hard to flush. He fixed the handle on the toilet and gave me some options for the non functional toilet. He also took a look at my water heater, letting me know it was 15 years old. I had no idea but I’m grateful because I can plan to replace it. Overall, Abbas answered all my questions, put booties on his shoes while coming in and was very professional. I highly recommend.

We had a leak from our trap in our master bath that caused some ceiling damage and we called Mallick and they were really nice and were able to send someone out pretty quickly. Our plumber, Eric Biser was friendly and explained everything to us of what was going on and what was needed to fix the problem. He also did a quick inspection of our water heater and sprinkler system. Overall great experience and highly recommend. Will definitely be looking into purchasing a maintenance plan.

SAVED DURING THE HOLIDAYSMy hot water heater flooded my basement on New Years Day. I called my regular plumber at 7pm - but he wasnt working on the holiday. He suggested I call Mallick Plumbing. Malick walked me through turning off the rusted valves and draining off the tank to stop more flooding. They sent Billy C and Tony M the next morning. After assessing the needed work, I was given price quotes and options - I never felt pressured. Billy and Tony worked tirelessly in a very cramped and dirty space, repairing severely clogged and rusted pipes and turnoff valves, and replacing the hot water heater. They worked well past 8 pm to guarantee my house had running water. These guys did a really great job, and I am so appreciative. Call Mallick with your plumbing issues. They are great.Carol T

Great work, great communication. Mallick installed our new water heater and redid some of the piping. Our old heater kicked the bucket after almost 20 years. Many of the old parts and inputs were no longer up to code, so in addition to the installation, they replaced and reorganized much of the piping and valves as well. They did an excellent job explaining what was going on and the communication was seamless from assessment through installation. Chris, Abbas, and Bryce were all extremely helpful. Hey there, just had a wonderful experience with Mallick Plumbing and their plumber Mr. Abbas. My toilet was not flushing properly and leaking from the internal flushmate unit. I was able to purchase a flushmate replacement, and they agreed to install it. The install was quick, they were timely, and kind. It was a fair price for the work. Abbas even took time to say hello to my doggo which was kind of him.Additionaly, I had my 20 year old water heater replaced by Mallick plumbing a few weeks ago by their plumber Andrew. They plumbed the new water heater and expansion tank no problem. They were efficient, offered good guidance and were kind.I have been a home owner just over 5 years, and until Mallick, I have not found a reliable plumbing company to do business with. Let me tell you a bit about a group of individuals, Eric, Pedro, Coulton, Jesus and Nicole, that came together to provide my household with one of the most enjoyable, professional and memorable service experiences that Ive ever had.I found Malek via a Google search after having a few Jack Legged contractors to come by and give partial estimates for the installation of a Generac that we purchased from Sams Club. Eric showed up at the house the day that I called to do the estimate. He was thorough, communicative and very eager to earn my business. He generated a proposal while on-site and I knew immediately that I had my company.My better half was not as convinced as I was and insisted I get additional estimates, so I did. That made the salesman in Eric come out a bit, However, I too am a salesman, so I cut him some slack😁9 days and 3 additional estimates later, we both settled on Malek. I alerted Eric on our decision, signed the service agreement and waited for the scheduler to call. It was late in the afternoon on Thursday, so I wasnt expecting a call that day. But in the same manner of exceeding expectations that Eric showed, Nicole called that day. She was pleasant, patient and she was able to assist Eric in pulling a team of service professionals together to get the service done on Sunday.On Sunday between 9-10 they began to file in. Pedro first, then Eric showed up to support his team, then Jesus, and then Coulton. The Dream Team had arrived. They spent the entire day ensuring that the unit was installed properly and that we were satisfied with every aspect of the project. We received a text message with a picture and details of a technician named Roberto Buendia, who was en route. Roberto was extremely pleasant, professional, and calm. He was also meticulous in making the necessary calls as he diagnosed the situation. He was thorough in explaining the breakdown of the cost of putting a new service line into our property (he discovered the leak was bigger than we actually thought!).When the day of service came, we were astonished at the way Mallick worked in tandem with WSSC and the diggers for a smooth service. Roberto was with another technician named Michael. They were both so kind and professional. The reason why I’m stressing this is because often, it’s rare to find continuity of great service and professionalism with companies. However, we found continuity in this great service from Christine (with the office), Roberto, and Michael. I hired Mallick Plumbing to install an electric heat pump water heater. I got their name off an EPA list of approved vendors that sell and service heat pump water heaters.Mallick sent a technician within a few hours of my early morning call. Jose diagnosed the problem with the 20-year old gas water heater and it required a new system. He walked me through the pros and cons of various options. I opted for the hybrid electric heat pump. Jose helped me contact an electrician (Fink Electricians). I was able to get the 240v connection and the installation done the next day.The two employees (Jose and Bryce) did a fantastic job. They were polite, professional, cleaned up after themselves, and walked me through the operation of the new system.I would recommend Mallick to anyone needing plumbing work.

Bobby Knott was extremely professional and was able to recommend a quick diagnosis of the issue we were having with our kitchen sink. He came with what I’m assuming is an apprentice or maybe just a partner/helper tech. They also let me know to call the office back if I still notice the issue once they leave. I needed my combi-boiler replaced and went with Mallick because they offered me the lowest estimate, which was still over $12,000. Everyone I spoke to was polite and professional. It was several weeks between signing the estimate/paying the first installment until they were ready to do the work, which was not ideal since I had no hot water, but I understand it can take time to get supplies. They installed the new combi-boiler and replaced all of the old piping, including removing some obsolete piping, which was great. They assured me they would hire a roofer to take care of the venting in the roof, but they did not make it clear until the day before the job that they would not handle any of the damage to the interior of the house. After 2 full days of work, Im left with a two foot hole in my ceiling I now have to pay someone else to fix. In hindsight I should have asked about it before I agreed to any of the work, but since they had told me they would hire a roofer on their end it never occurred to me that they would fix the roof but refuse to patch the ceiling. If I could do it again I would hire a different company instead of spending so much only to be stuck with a new repair project.

Remy worked with us to secure the needed parts, and was able to efficiently fix our shower before our friend arrived. His work was excellent and he left the space very clean afterwards. Yesterday morning, I looked up at my home office drywall ceiling and noticed the stain of the fairly large leak and that the drywall had split at the seam. I knew we had a slow leak somewhere so I called Mallick. They said they would get somebody to my home that same day, late in the afternoon. About 5 PM, Chuck Torres and Jose arrived, took a look around and told me they would have to open up the ceiling to find the leak. They ultimately found a very small pinhole leak that was in a very difficult place to repair. More drywall in the ceiling and in one wall had to be removed, but they had carefully protected everything in my office from dust. They were able to cut out a length of pipe and a T and repair it all. When they were done, their cleanup was so good that I could barely notice that they had done repair work. All in all, it took about four hours, but they were very careful and thorough. Two extremely nice guys, very professional and they clearly knew what they were doing. My wife and I are incredibly grateful that they got here the same day and took care of everything.We started using Mallick Plumbing in the early 90s when it was just Kenny Mallick and a few employees, and we have been using them ever since. I strongly recommend them and we never use anybody else.

This was my second time using Mallick Plumbing. Bobby came out and diagnosed my knocking pipes and inspected the plumbing in my entire house. I went forward with the recommended jobs because Bobby was honest and very professional.I had another plumber inspect what I thought were knocking pipes, and he said, I dont have to hear it. You need a water pressure meter (WPM) for so many hundreds of dollars. My instincts were correct in that I wanted a second opinion. Bobby inspected my house for the knocking pipes, gauged my water pressure, and said that I did not need a WPM. This was a thorough inspection with a measure of honesty. I appreciated that. I did, however, have a leak above my hot water heater, which Bobby fixed.I signed up with Mallick Maintenance Program where they do an annual house inspection which includes a hot water heater flushing. I do believe I have a good plumber.

I recently purchased a new gas dryer from ApplianceLand, and Mallick was their subcontractor to hook up the dryer to the gas line. I was pleased with the tech and professional service for the dryer work, so I asked Eric to take a look at my aging gas-fired water heater.I had the 10-year old water heater flushed 3 months ago, and the handyman advised it took 3 full flushes to get all the rust out, and that it probably had less than a year of life left in it.At the time of the dryer install, Eric advised that it was indeed a good time to replace the water heater, and pointed out a leak in the water line over the heater, water pressure issues, and an issue with the vent that was no longer up to county code. I decided to go ahead with the water heater and related work, and had the new water heater just one week later. (It was not an emergency!) I added additional service of replacing an exterior, leaking hose bib.Eric and his helper did a very professional job, and left the work area just as clean as they found it. I appreciated the extra time they took to answer all my questions, and walk me through the upgrades and changes.Ive had many plumbers in my old house over the last few decades, and Mallick will be my sole choice in the future!

We needed a new kitchen faucet. Mallick sent Eric B to help us. Mallicks customer service has always been clear about how their charges work when sending someone for repairs. We had the choice of buying the faucet through Mallick, or going to a store to get a faucet ourselves. In either case, manufacturer warranties hold, although if going through Mallick, they also add a one year warranty of their own. We bought the faucet through Mallick. Eric listened to what I wanted, and gave multiple choices. He would give advice through the process, but without being at all pushy, which I really appreciated. The installation went well with no issues on the second visit once the faucet came in. It was a very pleasant experience.

On a late Monday afternoon, we discovered a leak in a pipe under our house. Suspecting a pinhole leak, as we had had a previous leak three years earlier in our spare bedroom, we contacted Mallick Plumbing to investigate the problem. Amazingly, they had our previous work on file in their office, with a history of our past work performed. They scheduled us the very next day and showed up promptly at the appointed time. Troy Rey was the plumber who crawled under the house and determined that it was indeed a pinhole leak. With his phone, he took photos of the problem, came up to show us and to confer on the solution. He cut a three foot section of piping at a joint leading to our upstairs bath, and replaced it with new piping. In all, the project took about two hours from start to finish. The work was performed efficiently and effectively, ending our 24-hour ordeal of spraying water in our crawl space and a shut off water main while we had the problem repaired. The price was reasonable and all work was performed within the estimated time provided in Troys assessment. I would rate Mallick very highly and recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

We received service the same day he was there to assess the dripping faucets and even did a quick tweak to the toilet valve to stop the toilet from running. He offered solutions which included both customer provided replacement parts as well as his company’s replacement parts. Mallick Plumbing has some terrific employees-starting with the girls who answer the phones-personable, knowledgeable and responsive to the clients needs. When I asked for a plumber who could get into tight crawl space to try to detect a recurring water issue, I was scheduled (first thing the next morning) with Jose Callahan- what an asset to Mallick!!! He listened to my concerns, and belly crawled the length of 20+ of short crawl space checking every bit of pipe and wall for moisture. He was thorough, personable and very willing to explain any thing concerning (or not) which he found. He was not able to find the source of my wet basement issue, but did make me feel confident that I can cross a leaking/damaged pipe as the water issue. Mallick is kucky to have him!!

I have used Mallick for my plumbing needs almost as long as the company has been in business. I recently had a serious plumbing emergency involving water coming down from my basement ceiling on a Friday night and within an hour a highly trained technician was in my home. A few days later, that plumber, Andrew spent 11 hours in my house doing a total re-piping of the kitchen drain system which had resulted in the disaster. He was diligent, competent, and explained everything. There is no company better!!

Mallick has become our Plumber of choice. We have recommended their services to several others who have been happy with their service. We have used Mallick for several major jobs including well tank replacement, whole house filter installation, leaking pipe repair (of older pipes installed by a different plumber), and a new shower installation with a Kohler controller. Mallick also replaced a kitchen sink garbage disposal unit.We were very pleased with the responsiveness when we called Mallick to repair a piping installation made by a different plumber ten years ago (before we discovered Mallick). Weve been very satisfied with each plumber that has come out to do work. They are polite, skilled, thorough, and explain what theyve done. I dont remember everyones name but Id like to put a shout out to Tyler (who did a lot of the major work) and Andrew who came out and re-did the piping to fix the leak that occurred due to a poor installation by a different plumbing company that we no longer use.

We had a tankless water heater leak for 9 days. 1 company misdiagnosed it, another was looking to charge $1700 for the repair and 2 others refused to work on it altogether.I called Mallick and explained. They sent Bobby out 2 hours later. Bobby looked at the job, gave us an estimate and they made room in the schedule to make it work the next day.Bobby and Joe returned, got the work completed efficiently, took the time to explain it all and gained the company some long term clients! Where do I start? Called Mallick to have a garbage disposal installed. Rob came in, did a great job. While he was here ask to just look at hot water heater, wasnt sure if it needed to be replaced. He checked, it was very old, it hadnt been installed properly before, gave estimate to replace that and replace some of the other things that were really old as well. I couldnt be home the day that Rob returned to do that job due to an injury, had no fear of him being there alone. We spoke on the phone, he went in, was there most of the day, job done, everything was cleaned up wouldnt even know that anyone had been in the house. I honestly believe they cleaned up in the basement better than it was when they got there. I have found my plumbing company to call in the future, just hoping I dont need to call them to soon! Wonderful job, very professional, very helpful, explained everything. Thanks again Rob for a great experience.

Had a tricky heat pump water heater install that needed to be done in a tight area and most of the companies we reached out to outright refused to take on the project.I was pretty confident it could work after I zipped around with a tape measure and when they showed up they took even more thorough measurements of the space and the clearances needed to get the equipment in, and joined my confidence that it should be possible.When the crew showed up they confirmed its going to be tricky and if they cant make it happen theyll reconnect the old heater just so we arent missing hot water... but they did an excellent job fitting it in and routing all the pipes neatly. Now, even though the new tank is larger than the previous, theres actually more space in that area.We applied for some sustainable energy credits and Mallick scheduled all the permits and inspections at a time that worked for us all while the DC permitting system kept having outages.We additionally had 2 outdoor spigots replaced and they properly cemented the hole around the new pipe so it seamlessly matches that masonry work already present. I know someone else might have just shot some foam in the gap and called it a day, but they did it the right way it looks great.$ was in the middle of the 2 other estimates we managed to get for this tricky job, but close the to cheapest one. Given the quality work Id say the cost of it all was very fair. Hard to think of how much better the work could have been if we had paid more but I can definitely see how another crew could cut some corners which didnt happen here.Would recommend 100%.

My wife and I are so glad we discovered Mallick Plumbing and Heating. We’re prepping our home for sale and have had two other plumbing contractors in to do necessary repair work. We were not impressed. When our kitchen faucet failed for the third time in two years—not a complicated job but a definite nuisance, especially with house guests arriving in two days--we looked for a local small business that would do the job right. I called three companies.The woman who answered the phone at Mallick’s was the most polite and professional. She scheduled a plumber for the next day. The plumber, Remy Lopez, called ahead and arrived right on time—a first in our experience with local plumbers. He inspected the faucet, made cost-saving recommendations for a replacement, and arranged to return the next day to install whichever faucet we purchased.The next day, he was again right on time, did the work quickly, and even replaced at no additional charge a failing trap seal that was not in the original estimate, saving us a future headache. He even offered suggestions for checking the plumbing at the home we recently purchased in Virginia Beach.We can’t say enough about the service we received from Mallick Plumbing and Heating or the friendly, professional manner of Mr. Lopez. Mallick is going to be our plumber from now until the day we move.

Had a water heater replaced as well as an outdoor hose spigot, which needed a hole cut into the basement ceiling to access. We had a tech named Bobby take care of everything. He brought an access panel and was able to cut the hole so that the panel could be placed without any drywall repair. Water heater replacement was smooth, and he even took a quick look at a ceiling leak that developed a few days before he visited. He did a quick job of redoing some of the lining in the upstairs tub, and that seemed to take care of the issue. Super professional, friendly, and helpful. We’ll definitely be returning to Mallick for future needs and requesting Bobby.
