Signed a service contract with them (company that held the previous contract is out of business) based on quality of service during this call.

I had an appointment for Friday the 30th of August for a non- functioning AC issue.After multiple confirmations on Friday and the following day the technician Ajani finally arrived on Sunday the 1st of September. No apology and to add insult to injury ,what was a minor issue with my outside hydrant (slow leak)turned into a $1,415 repair job that Im expected to cover fully after use by the technician. Needless to say Im not satisfied with the overall experience.

Our technician arrived on time and proceeded to examine the air conditioning unit located on our balcony. He first turned off the unit and when he flipped the switch back on, it sparked. He showed my husband what was happening and told us that now the air conditioner would not turn on. He showed us the defective part and offered to repair it but we now have choice home warranty for repairs. He politely explained all options but we choose to use our home warranty which was less expensive. It is repaired now so all is well.

United Temp was the service agent for our homeowners warranty. We needed them during the heavy snowfall in Maryland when our HVAC essentially kicked out and one floor was freezing and another was scorching. The technician that came was incredibly professional, courteous, and offered a bit of education around how HVACs work. It was helpful because we hadn’t experienced major issues before (knock on wood) so having someone be willing to answer questions about preventative maintenance and service was awesome. Turns out a screen was loose on a part which caused the issue. He gave us advice on how to avoid certain problems due to our furniture placement over some of our registers. All in all, quality service. Highly recommend.

Our AC suddenly stopped working last Wednesday during the excessive heat wave last week. We were in so much distress from the heat so we called United Air Temp- VA on Thursday scheduled an appointment and Tech Evan showed up early the very next day! We were prepared to pay for expensive non-covered parts and waiting if not in stock. Our technician was very professional and efficient! He came in our home and quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what had happened and went on to fix the issue. After three hours we were back up and running! We were so relieved!!! Problem fixed, no waiting or great expense 😅We highly recommend United Air Temp- VA based on their great customer service, knowledge and our technician’s ability to bring quick results!

The second technician took great care in ensuring that my system wouldn’t inadvertently get turned on, so he shut off all possible switches. After my coil was repaired, the tech informed me of every step he needed to reinstall my system and how long it would take.

Rest of the review is still valid.Although i really appreciated their prompt service, they really went top of the line quoting a single 2 ton AC unit removal/replacement at 16k with 6k in discounts for being a veteran/American home shield upgrade/combo coupon. Seriously?! We just bought the house, obviously got told everything was great (per home inspection) and now have no AC with two small kids in the house. I’m not impressed with the company compassion and would not recommend. They were the service contracted by the home warranty which won’t cover the damage by the mouse. So they are writing this family for out of pocket expenses. Get another opinion if you end up with them.

He gave me his card and told me to call him directly and I did. I left a message at 7:45 pm and he called back immediately just to ensure my unit was working properly.

In other words Akill took over and made sure everything was up and running smoothly I commend Akill for job well done. He deserves an award for outstanding services.

I don’t like watching everything, however this taught me that I have to go behind and check everything. It would be nice if regional managers ensure that new technicians are properly trained before releasing them on their own. Once I contacted them they worked quickly to get the situation resolved. Still a good company and I will continue to use their services. I’ll just be more aware.
