It was a Saturday and our 20 year old furnace stopped. The HVAC companies I had used in the passed left me wanting something better. I called BPM and they had someone there in a couple of hours. Sean was great and had things fixed in less than an hour. The price was very reasonable. He explained what was done and didnt try to sell me a long term service contract or things that werent part of the current problem. I had been planning on replacing my system, This made the choice of providers easy. BPM is my HVAC provider from now on. Thanks BPM!

These guys did an amazing job installing a water softener in our basement. Everyone else weve talked to basically told that we had to get an entire house water softener, and that it was impossible to leave 1 or 2 lines untreated. Having a couple untreated lines was very important to us because we do not need any more sodium in our diet, and replacing mg/ca with sodium can be lethal for some aquarium fish (you would need an RO filter or something to get rid of sodium)... anyways, it turned out not to be true - BPM was able to separate out our fridge and one sink from getting softened water.

We recently purchased a historic 1895 home in downtown Frederick and the giant steam boiler stopped working just a month after moving in. Scrambling to try to figure out what to do, I solicited several quotes, realizing quickly that simply replacing the boiler, may not be the best option for the house. Rich from BMP was excellent from the very first meeting, he was super professional and knowledgeable and gave me various options by thinking “outside the box” of what was possible. The solution he presented was perfect, it eliminated the steam boiler while providing a dual system that was much more energy efficient, and included no mounted mini-splits on the first floor! This was a critical piece, in keeping the historic look of the home. The company’s installation and communication were also terrific (I’m a realtor and deal with lots of contractors). They were extremely responsive and patient with all of my concerns and answered all of my questions along the way. They were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, and seemed to truly care about me as a customer. I highly recommend the team from BPM for your HVAC, heating, and plumbing needs. (I also had them service my tankless water heater).

I can say nothing but positive things about this company. We lost our furnace last year and had a ducted mini split system installed with a different company and had absolutely nothing but problems - the employees disgradering our concerns and never called back in a timley manner - just a nightmare for the past year. Rich was very comprehensive and came out to our home multiple times while we had the previous system removed and made suggestions to heat and cool our old house properly. He answered all my questions, kept me informed with updates, and they were able to have our new gas furnace installed with barley any wait. We live in a 1900s house that is now able to stay chilly at 66°F on a 100°F day, I never thought that would be possible; they really thought of everything and made the best recommendations for the condition of our old house. Rich and Dale were great to work with and my dogs enjoyed the extra attention too. Its hard to find contractors who are this comprehensive and enjoyable to work with. This company has turned a nightmare into a dream. Could not be more pleased.

If you dont want a long read, this is the gist of it. You do not want anyone other than Rich and his team working on your heating/cooling needs. Theyre kind, courteous, respectful of property, extremely proficient, and professional. Do not bother looking elsewhere, the team you need is right at BPMIf you want the whole story, this is it. About a year ago, I had Rich and team come out to replace a prior poorly installed HVAC system that did not heat or cool anywhere near what we needed. Rich took the time to answer any and all questions/concerns me and my wife had about the old system and what would be a sufficient replacement. After the prior system was gutted and hauled off, the professionals at BPM wasted no time installing the new one. A couple of months later during a heavy snowfall, I noticed that the new system had begun to not heat as per the set temperature, like it had been since the initial installation. Old worries started creeping up, and I was sitting there thinking, “Oh no, not again.” But, those worries were quickly quelled as Rich and team came in to save the day. Diagnosing the problem within just an hour, of which was not actually the system itself, but rather an external problem. Which may or may not have been kids shoving snow into the flue pipe exhaust. But what really impressed me, was that Rich took the time to show ME exactly where to look if the problem arose again and how to fix it myself. Of which, was an extremely easy fix. He didnt just leave me in the dark in hopes that later down the line I would potentially have a similar problem and need to call them back again. And a year later, I can safely say that the system is still going strong as ever. In 15 degree weather, its keeping our old, poorly insulated house at a strong 71 degrees. And not running constantly to do so. I cannot recommend BPM enough and truly mean it when I say this, you need BPM working on any of your heating/cooling needs. Rich and team have made a loyal customer for life with me and my wife should we ever need such services in the future.
