Hector and Carlos did a wonderful job replacing our water heater a couple months ago. Leaving this review a bit later because it allowed time to see how everything worked after the replacement, and it has been great!They went above and beyond by even clearing some blockage in our kitchen sink faucet that they noticed while testing the water after installing the new unit - that was truly phenomenal and the water pressure has been better on that faucet since then. Also appreciate how they protected our carpet as they went in and out on a rainy day. Truly excellent workmanship and service!

I called OConnor Plumbing and Evelyn helped us set the appointment. The plumbers got here in less than 20 minutes!Steve Turner and Trent were professional, efficient and followed COVID guidelines. They replaced our Water Heaters expansion tank and replaced a faulty valve on the water line. They were done within an hour and left behind a great job and happy customers!

This is the second time we have benefitted from the courteous and professional services of OConner Plumbing. The first time was January 25, 2024 and the most recent was September 27, 2024 regarding water backing up in the kitchen sink at the Vale Apartments in D.C. Like before, two Plumbers came to evaluate the problem in the unit. This time it was Kavia and Alex who wore masks before entering the unit due to medical issues of two residents in the unit. I really appreciate their willingness to be consider and wear masks. Because of Plumbing work being done by the plumbers and respiratory issues one of the residents was having, it was necessary for the resident to sit on the patio until certain work was complete. Meanwhile, the plumbers wete so kind and considerate to check on the elderly resident sitting on the balcony to see if okay. This was a very kind consideration which was well appreciated by the residents. Both times OConners plumber came to the unit, they were very professional, wonder customer relation skills, caring for the well-being of a disabled resident, resolved the problem, cleaned up behind themselves prior to leaving. OConner has assembled an excellent staff of talented and professional employees. Thank you for resolving the issue in our 3rd. floor unit at the Vale on September 27, 2024.

I originally called to replace my hot water heater thinking it was leaking, but Steve Parker from OConnor Plumbing figured out I had an old pvc pipe that cracked and broke causing the flooding in my kitchen. He did everything quickly, cleanly, and was very patient with explaining the issue with me.Steve even helped explain the issue to my insurance agent, which helped to alleviate my fears with paying the bill.I shared the price for the rates with my brother-in-law who is a real estate agent and he said they were fair.Overall, good company and great employees. I hope I dont need them again, but if I do Ill definitely call them.

I originally scheduled Service to replace some bathroom faucets but when Andrew arrived he showed me how he could easily fix them without repairing them. Save me a ton of money. Then offered a free home inspection/diagnostic and found some immediate issues that should be addressed. He was very kind upfront informative and thorough on his recommendations with no pressure to “buy now.” A gentleman was training with him and he explained why he was there and he was very helpful when training. Andrew did a great job and made me feel like I could trust O’Connor for all of our plumbing needs.

Had a great experience working with Stephen Parker from OConnor plumbing. He arrived on time and inspected the leak that had stained our living room ceiling. He determined it was most likely from the master bathroom toilet but could also be from a pipe. He presented two options with pricing for next steps. We chose to pull and reset the toilet before going through the ceiling to detect the source of the leak. Thankfully, when he pulled the toilet, it was clear that the wax seal between the toilet and the pipe had eroded causing the leak. He promptly fixed it with a new wax seal and also installed new supply line free of charge. He flushed the toilet several times to make sure the leak did not continue to exist. Overall, it a good experience and we definitely use them again for any future plumbing issues we have. Bonus: my dog liked him too and Stephen was great towards my dog!

I had great experience from the very start. The lady (Teresa?) who answer my call was very helpful and professional. She scheduled my appointment for that afternoon.Next Ethan called me when he was 20 minutes out, which was very helpful.At the house Ethan was very professional he spoke with me and gave me two options to make the repairs. We then discussed the options for 20 or 30 minutes. We came to an agreement which was best for me. He quickly made the installation and cleaned the area. I was very satisfied.

I absolutely can not say enough good things about the service I received from OConnor and my technician Ethan. I had flood damage from Ida and needed immediate service and OConnor sent Ethan out in about 4 hours same day. My sump pump had to be replaced, and my hot water heater was fried and they had a new one installed in my house within 24 hours. Ethan was friendly, professional, and very experienced. Despite being in a bit of a desperate situation, I never felt pressured or forced into using them after the initial consultation, was kept informed every step of the way, and truly had an exceptional experience. Trevor was a professional with great customer service having kept in touch step by step with the owner Joe regarding the value replacement & repair. Background which is always vital shortly after moving in discovered water under washer of which we cleared and clean, but then discovered mold. We have a specialist who is also a friend over these years caring for our daughter having a rare incurable disease and wanted his opinion as he is Chief of Infectious Disease. Following his suggestions, we alerted the owners, additionally as best we could removed mold due to its health hazard and violation so our daughter could be safe. Unfortunately the water under machine continued periodically, contacted owners and after numerous conversations thankfully they purchased new one from Home Depot. For those of us with small business, you will relate to hoops & sacrifices pay loss to wait for repair/replacement. On Monday, Home Depot arrived, unable to install new machine, then called owner, mentioning the value leakage, and then they called you. I say this without hesitation, Thankfully you came to our rescue expeditiously. And though I was informed by owner that I will have to use my Saturday to wait again for Home depot to complete the installation due to liabilities, I thought it warranted to give you rave reviews. As a secondary customer, you valued my time, work schedule and arrived on time. Your technician Trevor had exploratory customer service, expertise, and experience. As a business professional myself, you mirror valuing clients so I am happy to report, beyond this review, I will be adding you to my resources for referral services I value. valuing my clients. We had a leaking water heater that required a replacement. I contacted O’Connor Plumbing and immediately was scheduled for a service visit. Austin came out and informed us that the water heater he had on hand was too large for our small space and the like for like was limited in availability. He gave us multiple options and the best one seemed to be getting a like for like replacement. I was desperate for a water heater since I had been dealing with an incompetent plumbing company for several weeks prior to contacting O’Connor. He sensed my urgency and he made some quick phone calls and rearranged his schedule so that he could install the water heater as soon as it was delivered. As promised, he came out few days later and with the help of another technician, replaced our water heater without any issues. I wished we had gone with O’Connor plumbing from the very beginning. These guys are true professionals.

I was somewhat irritated that OConnor does not offer weekend residential service, as we lost all water on Saturday afternoon. After making it through the weekend, Ryan came out on Monday afternoon and diagnosed a well pump failure. He came by with a tech on Tuesday morning and was able to replace the pump for a reasonable price, and also did some camera diagnosis and snake work on a clogged kitchen drain line. I was very impressed with Ryans knowledge and professionalism, and appreciated his efforts to work within our budget as well. I highly recommend OConnor plumbing.

Great experience here. I had a sink installed years ago which had never drained properly - or at all. We had always thought it was an issue with an improperly fitted p-trap. Now we are selling the house, and when we finally tried to replace, we realized the issue was a lot weirder than that. Time was of the essence as the house was scheduled to go on market in 3 days. Called OConnor and they were able to send someone same day, with a window within the hour.Tyler called in advance and showed up near the start of the window, which was awesome since I dont live at the house and am just sitting twiddling my thumbs when up there. He was super personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Turns out the original installer had somehow left a cap inside the pipe and it was literally impossible to drain. Within the hour he had all the junk cut out and re-done, sink reinstalled, and everything working as intended. Such a relief. He even offered to check anything else in the house I was concerned about since it was going on market soon. 100% would recommend 10/10 experience.

Calvin Collins, my service technician, was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Calvin answered all of my questions and explained in great detail how the system worked, the type of salt required and any maintenance required on my part. I am so grateful for O’Connor plumbing. Our well pump broke and we were without running water for a month (with three small children it was a very long month!!). We went through at least four plumbing agencies, but the other ones were afraid to tackle the task of restoring water to our home (not going to lie, it was a pretty big task). I had a pipe burst over the holiday weekend where finding a plumber was not an easy task. Ethan came out to my house promptly and gave me a fair estimate (out of three local plumbers). This was a big job in that they had to dig out my sidewalk and through my old house basement to replace the main line to the city water supply.Ethan, Spencer and Clayton were on time, professional, and worked very hard to get my project done on time, and they cleaned my floor before they left. It was a difficult job and a lot of work and I am very satisfied with OConnor Plumbing on this project.

When our 4-year-old water pump sprung a leak in the wee early morning hours, I was at a loss. OConnor saved the day in the form of Cole Young, friendly, knowledgeable, and SO welcome! He stopped the leak and did a thorough check of the pump when he was done. When he noticed water slowly dripping from the bottom of the pump, he immediately suspected another leak and talked with us about getting a new pump. What started as a quick fix turned into an all-day job, but Cole remained cheerful, friendly, talkative, and professional throughout the installation. Tyler completed a toilet replacement and faucet installation for us a few months ago. We were so impressed with his professional ethics, customer service and job completion that we didnt hesitate to have him return to repair one of our other toilets.Tyler is not about taking advantage of customers. He is honest to the highest standards. If he believes he can repair a problem versus replace for a higher expense, he will repair the problem. He will always tell you there is a possibility he will find something else along the way, or that if the initial repair doesnt work there may be a plan B. Tyler has always prepared us for all scenarios he sees as possible and gives frequent updates while working. He will show you the damage, the sources and causes, and will explain in detail what he finds in a way you can understand. His knowledge level is impressive.We highly recommend OConnor Plumbing. When Tyler calls, he says hi, its Tyler, your plumber.. He truly is. We wouldnt call anyone else!

Just had an AMAZING experience with OConnor and one of their plumbers, Marty. I called yesterday (on a Saturday) knowing that I would leave my information to be called back on Monday during normal business hours. I got a call back today (Sunday) verifying my information. They said the soonest they could come out was Thursday. Oh well. However, got a call later this afternoon saying an appointment had canceled and that a plumber could come immediately. What luck! When Marty arrived, he diagnosed the problem immediately, clearly explained my options and got right to work. He even reminded me of the online coupons. He successfully cleared the blockage, quickly cleaned up and was thorough enough to disinfect every surface he touched, including the door handles. A true professional and a truly professional and responsive service. Highly recommend!

Trevor arrived within the window I was given and worked efficiently. I made an appointment for a leaking valve and to look at our water heater temperature. He took the time to explain things to me and fixed the issues. I mentioned to him that we couldnt find the thermostat (we just moved in) and he went out of his way to help me find it! Last night the pipe under my kitchen sink broke. I was so upset, my kids started school this morning. I called several places with no answer. When I called OConnor Plumbing, I was greeted so nicely. Not only was it midnight, but it was also Labor Day. I got a call right back from Fred. He was very understanding and showed compassion when listening to what happened. He came out within 30 minutes, he was so nice and patient with me. I have never had such a horrible issue turn into such a great experience. I bought my house 2 months ago, I did not know what to expect with an issue like this. I am so thankful for Fred and all he did to help me last night. He did such a professional job and made it look like nothing happened. He took the time to explain my main water valve shut off, common problems to look for and how to prevent future problems. I called 5 different plumbers. Nobody had same day service for my area. When I call OConnor Plumbing the nicest lady answered on the 2nd ring. When I told her my issue she said someone could come by between 12 and 4. GREAT!! Then 5 minutes later she called back and said someone could be here in 20 minutes!!! WOW! When Steve and Trent came in took them minutes to diagnose the problem. My indoor sprinkler system had a hole in the pipe behind the wall. They could not fix that problem. But they found a solution to get my water running again. All in less than 1 hour! The price was far less than I expected!! OCONNOR PLUMBING is my new go-to. I called OConnor to address what ultimately ended up being a major plumbing repair at my home. In short, all of the cast iron pipe under my house had failed and needed to be replaced. Ryan and Eric came out for the first stage of the repair and then Andrew and Eric for the second stage. I appreciated the level of detail they provided me throughout the process as well as their asking me if I had any questions along the way. Andrew went above and beyond, staying late on a couple of occasions to make sure the job was done right. I highly recommend the Frederick OConnor team for your plumbing needs.

Called O’Connor on a Saturday, since it wasn’t an emergency, just more of a hassle, we decided to wait until Monday to have a tech come out. The office called me Monday morning and we had Donnie come just a few short hours later! Found out we just needed new toilets. Donnie was amazing. Very honest. Ordered new toilets with him here (he had personally recommended a few). Found one he recommended on sale. He came back today (Friday) to install all 3! Came early! We signed the Shamrock Club Contract. Donnie also did an inspection of all the pipes and recommended a few things but nothing that had to be done ASAP. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Will always ask for Donnie for any of our plumbing needs!

I am very pleased with their service. My outside faucet would not turn off so the water was continuously running. My house was built in 1965 so shut off valves were not installed. I was sure which valve by the water heater might work. Water was starting to flood my storage room. Apparently it had been leaking fir awhile. Austin called to tell me he was on his way. He was polite, professional and friendly. He tried to replace parts but ultimately had to replace the hose bib. He also put in a shut off valve for any future issues. Had an irreparable crack in the garbage disposal with a rusted out/leaking P-trap that I was tempted to neglect further as we are hoping to redo the kitchen in the next 6 months. The leaking became too much to ignore so I looked around and found O’Connor. The experience was smooth, response was quick, and availability ideal. Their technician, Cole, was here on a Thursday for assessment and doing the work by two business days later. This was a relief as it seems many other businesses were booked up. Cole was understanding of limiting the work to what was absolutely necessary (for my situation) given the context of it all being taken out in the semi-near future, and not wanting buckets under the sink up until then. He also gave his recommendations for a more comprehensive job, which were appreciated and will be kept in mind for next time. Looking forward to having them back in the new kitchen for a full work up!

I had an emergency leak pop up between my well and home which obviously required digging. A friend remodeling two of my bathrooms recommended O’Connor and I called them that day. The work they eventually did was excellent and extremely professional. My leak was literally on the edge of perennial beds, and the digging they did with the excavator was nothing short of surgical. I think a lot of companies would have made a huge mess. They even brought plyboard to lay the dirt on they dug while searching for the leak. Their technician, Austin Kline, was very polite and professional. An all around excellent experience for rolling the dice with a company I had never used before.

Cole is a true professional, and an honest one to be precise. I live in a tall townhome (about 35+ feet in height) as a result, running hot water to the 4th floor takes time—I needed a work around on this—Cole did his thing and adjusted the shower cartridges under the premise that my water was not hot enough—when in fact I wanted it to heat up faster without having to run the water for long—this slight miscommunication had me feeling down a bit and Cole was willing to shave off a huge discount—his willingness to do this made me more so happy to pay the full price and I did. Turns out, the adjustment to the cartridge made a difference after-all. PS: Cole offered the solution to making my water heat up almost instantaneously —but it was out of my budget for the moment as it requires extra heating components. He even showed me a neat little trick to reset my kitchen sink incinerator when it chokes.Thank you Cole, keep being an honest and genuine fella—you sense your clients emotions in a way that many will totally disregard.

Marty was a man of high class and honesty. He obviously knew what we needed done before coming since we told them but he was a bit shocked upon arriving. None the less he knew the ins and out of what we were experiencing and how to fix it, as well as additional information if it happens again. Very rarely have I come across a company that cares about their customers well being and satisfaction than that of the wonderful people at OConnor plumbing and even more rarely am I ever moved and impressed enough with a companies service to write a review.My family and I had just moved into our new home a little over a month ago when our water stopped working and we called many other plumbing companies but got the same answer from all of them telling us that it would be a week before they could come out to just do an assessment of the problem, now for all those of you that have ever been or are currently in a similar situation you very well know how much of a necessity water is to every day life and as if to make matters worse, our home owners insurance stated that they would not cover us.With my back against the wall I found OConnors plumbing, I gave them a call and explained the situation as well as our urgency to have it fixed, they understood my needs and were extremely sympathetic. They had a technician at my house the following day! they arrived on time and walked me step by step on the problems they found and how they would go about fixing it and boy did they! My tech Rick and his crew gave me constant updates on what was going on and kept me in the loop on everything to make sure I had piece of mind. These guys worked tirelessly and in less than a week they resolved all my problems and had my services up and running, were it not for this company and its wonderful team of professionals I would still be waiting other a week for other companies to respond.I urge anyone reading this review to do yourself a favor and call these guys, you will not regret it. We had a leak in the pipe that took the water from our sump pump to the outside. Matt came to fix it and came up with an idea to move the pipe on the outside away from our foundation by attaching it to the underside of our deck. He also paid attention to the water heater and realized the temperature and pressure release valve was leaking water into the pipe leading to the sump pump. Im hoping that this was the reason why my water bill was sky high and that the next one will be a lot lower since Matt replaced the valve and expansion tank. After another company had come out to fix what turned out to be a clogged pipe, the serviceman was not only unable to fix the clog, but he caused a massive leak. Jeff from OConnor Plumbing initially came out on Monday. He was successfully able to fix the clog and stop the pipe from leaking. He scheduled a follow up appointment the following Friday to change the trap, in order to prevent any further water damage. In retrospect, I should have called OConnor Plumbing from the start.

Also, after calling 10 different plumbing companies, these guys were the cheapest, especially on such a short notice.So a bad 4 days with no water and kids distant learning, and even though he couldnt fix it, Im so appreciative of what he tried to do and what he had to deal with.
