From the moment he arrived, John’s polite demeanor and professional attitude set a positive tone for the job. He took time to thoroughly assess the issues, and explaining and outlining the steps he would take to resolve the problem. We were particularly impressed by his attention to the details. Given the outstanding service he provided, we will certainly reach to John again for any future plumbing needs.

I live in Maryland and am in the beginning stages of selling land in Franklin, Indiana. An old (very old) house on the property needed to be winterized. Earl Gray was recommended to me by my broker. Even though I am 600 miles away communication with the company was clear and easy. They scheduled the work, came out earlier than expected and contacted me by phone to let me know what was needed and what it would cost. Kye Zimmerman, the plumber was honest and informative. I really appreciated his frankness. The job was done in no time and because of Kyes honest communication probably cost me, well, lets just say it was a devil of a lot less than it wouldve been here on the East Cost. Thanks!

Absolutely amazing work! Fixed a clog that two other plumbers recommended that I tear out walls and re do plumbing. Kye had the clog fixed in ten minutes with no used car salesman tactics. The sump pump in my crawl space started making some loud knocking sounds that seemed to be getting worse by the minute. I called Earl Gray & they said they had had a cancellation that day and could get me in before 4 p.m. The technician, Bridget, got to my home around 1:00. Diagnosed the problem and suggested I install a new one since it was over 15 yrs old. I could either buy one from them, or buy my own, which would cost much less. I picked one up at Menards while she ran out to lunch. She has it installed in no time and its now quiet and efficient. Bridget was knowledgeable and professional as well as a pleasure to have in my home. I sometimes feel uncomfortable having an unknownman in my home when no one else is home, so having a young lady here set my mind at ease. Shes doing a mans job and killing it!

We were very pleased with the service. We thought we had a leaking hot water heater and it turned out to be a leaking main water supply line. CJ was very respectful of our home and took the time to answer my questions. We will definitely use this company for any future plumbing needs.We are return customers and had them install a handicapped accessible shower in our home in 2021. They installed grab bars, shower shelves and all the extra modifications we requested. We are still bragging about the great work they did.

But that is not John’s fault. He did a great job!

The technician, John S,, went out of his way to make sure we received the correct size of water heater tank and this was after he came to our house on a Friday late in the evening past normal working hours. I highly recommend using their services, because they have been professional and provided quality work every time we have needed their services for plumbing and bathtub/shower installation.

The tech was prompt and very thorough. He flushed our tankless water heater, changed the filter element in our sediment filter, checked all of our drains and faucets and the main drain line. And, left us some organic drain cleaner to use in slow drains. This was covered by the 2 yr maintenance agreement we purchased last year. Very good service and an excellent value for the money.

I have used Earl Gray & Son’s Plumbing a few times and they have been great. I had them out in September 2024 to replace a failed ejector pump. The service tech John Seppala was very professional and detailed about what was being done. I just had them out again for a service call and John was the tech they sent. He understood the issue I was having and was able to solve it and took the time to walk me through how to trouble shoot in the future.

John, an apprentice plumber, showed up to help me with my water heater after I just moved in 3 weeks ago. He was very quick and responsive on time, professional, and courteous. He thoroughly inspected my water heater and pretty much figured it out. He did though, put his ego aside, and called his Journeyman to ensure he had looked over everything and didn’t miss something. His coworker then notified him what could be wrong and he got the job done right. This was big because it truly fixed the problem. He wanted to make sure he got it right before he left. It changed his plan and replaced both regulators. No one knows every answer to every problem, but it takes a smart and good person to know when to call for help and he did just that!!! 5 stars for John and I believe he should be recognized within the crew for this moment.

He even moved it over to a more accessible side.The other, he went above and beyond. He’s going to put it together and install it at a later date when he can find the parts. Everything was sweat so close together if he went the easy route and cut everything off… it would’ve cost a lot. This route is saving us a ton of money. I gave them a call for a quote on a Tuesday and was greeted by a very friendly gentleman during the intake call. Two days later (Thursday) Rusty came out for a quote.The following week on Tuesday, Rusty came out and completed the repair. He made helpful suggestions on the repair and kept water pressure top of mind! Rusty was easy to talk to, very helpful, acted as a professional, and cleaned up after himself before his departure. I have had such a positive experience.It only took 1 week from call for service to service being completed! This was not an emergency call, so I was very impressed with their response to render a service. Had some issues with our older on-demand water. Called Earl Gray and Sons to get a quote for a new one. From the first visit for site inspection all the way through installation was a very professional experience. Service manager arrived on time and provided a quote. The 2 installers showed up on time and were very friendly. This was a commercial installation requiring 2 water heaters daisy chained and tied into our filtration system. The installers got here and spent all day making the system look and perform absolutely beautifully. They exceeded our expectations in every way. Earl Gray and Sons will be my first phone call going forward for all of plumbing needs.

Their work was very professional from coming to give us an estimate and thorough explanation of how a tankless water heater works to installation. He drained my water heater, checked sum pump, water softener and all faucets and toilets of the house. I’ve used Earl Gray & Sons for 3 projects over the past 11 years. They always get the job done quickly and their fees are reasonable. They never try to up-sale me. They have worked on my outdoor pump station twice. Eleven years ago they replaced my electric board on the control box and recently they replaced the entire control box (the electrical components were very corroded after 15 years of use). My pump and floats were still working fine so they didn’t try and get me to replace them. Kye is very professional and prompt. He also reset my garbage disposal, which was not properly mounted by a different plumbing company (that my husband hired). I trust this company and will never stray away again.
