Jeremiah came to my home, did a full assessment and found nothing significantly wrong with my furnace except for some age and a dirty filter, which he replaced. He was professional, patient, respectful, and explained everything clearly and concisely.A few days ago, Sila came in and told me I had a cracked heat exchanger which is very serious and dangerous. Jeremiah found no evidence of such despite checking several factors. Sila recommended an entire new HVAC system: furnace, A/C condenser, and coil even though there was nothing wrong with all three for almost $20,000!!!Sila are crooks! Do your research. Use Accurate Baker Elman. They are honest and thorough. And, Beth, from the office was a dream to work with.

We had a no heat situation and called Accurate Baker Elman, they dispatched Jaykob and Ben who did a great job removing the old blower motor from the furnace. in the mean time, James went out of his way to deliver the new motor and controller for Jaykob and Ben to install. ABE was recommended to us by a neighbor who swore by them. I took her advice and havent looked back. These guys are the real deal, experts in their individual roles and field, but also super nice, thoughtful and kind folks, from the technicians who fix the issues to the sales folks. All great peeps. As a member, I feel prioritized and well take care of, even if Im not at home. Theyve gotten me out of several binds, from basement floods due to plumbing issues, all the way busted a condenser in the heat of the summer with quick, day-after fixes. They stay until the job is done, and they follow through if there are any issues. My wife and I have become huge fans.

He took the time to show me how he was performing the maintenance and he suggested an upgrade, but not as an upsell. He didnt have the parts with him. I felt the price was fair, and I liked the office scheduling person, who was very helpful on the phone. I found Accurate online after my prior plumber and HVAC company both stopped answering the phone after many years of service. I felt lucky to find Accurate. My appointment was only 1 week from my call.

We had a very difficult repair job, in house built in 1947 we had an airconditioning return that could not be opened anymore for changing the filters. We could not do it ourselves be cause it was too tricky. We had a previous problem with an old sink drain that repaired by Willy Farrington in a professional manner. Thus we asked Accurate Baker Ellman to repair the air conditioning return. Aslo our outdoor unit was not working again. We were glad that Willy came to look at our two problems. He first looked at our outdoor unit and immediately found out what was wrong, a worn out capacitor. He replaced it quickly, and the outdoor unit started working soon after. Replacing the return grid in the entry hallway mas more difficult sincethe ne unit has a little bigger than the old one; nevertheless, he could solve the problem with widening the old little more with amazing skill, standing on the ladder an balancing the parts he had place in the opening, wideninthe opening a little.He did a wonderful job very quickly. He carefully cleaned up after the work was done, was very friendly and explained what he did.This was a great experience, and we recommend him highly for anyone who has difficult problems to solve with plumbing and general HVAC problems. Jake and Will came to our rescue during a very trying period of multiple water problems. Both of them worked on our humidifiers that had leaked. Jake came to the initial incident. He was prepared with information and had viewed the pictures of the problem prior to arrival. Jake worked quickly and efficiently. Did a great job creating a temporary fix and gave us a thorough explanation of the problem with possible solutions. When the second humidifier leaked we knew immediately that the same issue had occurred. Willy got the second humidifier working temporarily. He too was very knowledgeable and provided clear answers. Willy read the instruction/installation manuals for both humidifiers and provided us with an analysis of the two machines. This helped us be reassured that the solution discussed with days before with Jake was the best path. In addition to the second humidifier problem, Willy inspected another problem we had. The final repair was completed by Jake. Kudos to Steve who coordinated the work, the multiple visits and provided all of us with the information we needed to resolve the problems. THANKS to all!

I cannot praise Steve enough. He cleaned my gas furnace and showed me again how to install a new filter. He also resealed the air ducts in several places. He worked efficiently and did a thorough job. Additionally he discussed options for heat pumps, hybrid splits. He was so friendly and helpful that it was a pleasure to interact with him. I’m having a MassSave audit and will most likely have all of the ducts sealed. I will definitely ask for Steve to come back and do the work. 5 stars for him. Accurate Heat-Air Services recently replaced one of my old Amana AC units with a new Trane system. This was my first experience with them and I’m a very happy customer. From the initial consultation all the way to installation, everyone I interacted with was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and patient. Derek was very responsive, provided great advice in system selection, patiently answered many questions I had quickly and helped select a system that truly meets my needs. Kyle and Brian installed the new AC unit. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They cleaned up the job site. The installation looks neat and professional and the unit is fully operational. However, there’s a noticeable humming noice from the air controller. After I reported the issue to Derek, Kyle and Bret came back quickly and identified a vibrating transformer. They’ll replace it with a new one soon to eliminate the humming noice. The company communicates with customers very effectively via email, text and real-time location tracking of the technicians. I will definitely rely on them for AC services going forward and highly recommend this company to anyone.

Guys did a great job maintaining our air conditioning and heating units. Unfortunately, they found two mice nests in the air conditioning units. They were careful to clean it all out and ensure everything was working properly. They really went the extra steps to clean everything up. Great service which you don’t find too much anymore.UPDATE: John needed to come back out to repair some additional mice damage. Nice to see him again and he got everything working as expected. Its nice to know the fees are going to such professional individuals both in what they know and how they treat customers. Its a big part as to why I remain a loyal customer.

Jacobs performed a very thorough inspection of my Trane furnace. The initial problem showed up a few times per day. After 3 ignition tries the blower came on but w/o any heat. Jacobs’ best guess was a need for a new, expensive circuit board. Let’s hope that fixes the problem. I would recommend Jacob to others in need of HVAC work.😀

Such a good experience! Our central AC stopped working during one of the hottest days of the year. Beth was so accommodating, professional, and treated us like we were family, scheduling us a service appointment with Jake. Jake was amazing and incredibly thorough and professional. He spent a significant amount of time checking everything and, while there wasn’t a smoking gun issue, Jake explained why we were likely experiencing our issue and suggested things we could do in the short, medium, and long term to improve the operation of our aging system. Jake was very honest with what he found (“your system actually looks really good”) and could have easily billed us for a service that wouldn’t have helped. I loved how there was follow up after our service call and constant communication.We will absolutely use Accurate again, especially when it’s time to do a system upgrade!

I had to replace my heat pump during the December cold snap. The installation team was hard working and knowledgeable, keeping me informed throughout the process. Jaykob was involved with a new thermostat install and repair to the existing air handler. He made sure that all was working properly with troubleshooting, verification with Trane, and relentless testing. He did not sign off on the job until he was sure it was operating properly. He also took the time to make sure I understood the repair. This was my first time working with Accurate and I definitely would trust them for future service.

I highly recommend Accurate Baker-Elman! We had multiple plumbers come in to look at our very old main water shut off valve. Each of them struggled to identify a plan or follow up. They were not the cheapest however the price differential was limited to installing what I thought was better equipment and so far Im very pleased! We called Accurate Heat for emergency assistance over the weekend and were beyond impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism. It involved installing all the ductwork in multiple locations in my house, meaning the crew had to be in an out of the house with my quarantining family in it. They were also great with my three kids under 8. The drop down ladder to my attic was broken and wed rigged it together but the guys, for no extra charge, got some materials on had and actually fixed the ladder so it is fully functioning. Recently purchased a home with a 1-2 year old Mitsubishi heat pump system (two air handlers in the attic and a mini split inside the basement and a high end heat pump unit outside) as the primary AC / Heating source and a oil burning boiler for base-board radiator as a backup heating source. The heat pump system was originally installed by Accurate Heating (HVAC side of Accurate Baker Elman). So I called the company to provide a Fall “winter” maintenance/ service check of the system. My technician Steve arrived the next day, first thing in morning. As the new owner I had a lot of questions about the system, in terms how to properly maintain it, how to best operate the system (and the merits/issues of my oil boiler based baseboard backup system which is not integrated with the heat pump controls). Steve was happy to address my questions as I shadowed him while accessing and checking the system. In terms of actual service work done, the practically new system was in great shape apart for very dirty air filters in the two hard to access attic air handlers which he walked me thru how to access & replace or clean. More importantly he took the time to discuss how best to maintain/operate the system, shared what I could easily do myself, and things to look for so I can catch or prevent problems. Steve left a happy, well informed customer and a heat pump system in great shape for the winter ahead.

We needed to update our old HVAC system which was a total mess and didnt work well. When an earlier owner had made an extension to the house they added a new electric heat pump and air handler, but put the ducts in the floor before putting the floor down. The result was there was no duct access from the basement. The addition never got warm and we had to use space heaters. The older system in the house didnt work well either, but at least the ducts were accessible.Accurate Baker Ellman to the rescue! After walk-throughs, David Ackley came up with a proposal that we accepted. Josh Dubois and his coworkers came to do the work and they worked hard for a week and a half. Josh had to think on his feet and come up with alternative ideas especially when the ducts under the addition couldnt be reached. He worked tirelessly and explained everything to my satisfaction very patiently. He is a champ!The crew cleaned up after themselves every day, and each and every one was professional and kind.It was an expensive job, but we knew that going in, and we are so happy to have reliable heat everywhere in the house for the first time since we moved in 20 years ago.You cant go wrong with Accurate Baker Ellman and Josh.

I contacted Accurate for an appointment at the recommendation of my Realtor. My central A/C unit that is 30 years was having trouble keeping up with the 90 degree heat wave. Prior to the appointment, three well known area HVAC providers gave me estimates up to $1,500 to clean the unit and re-charge it. All said it was probably junk and repeated the coming ban on the refrigerant R22 in 2020. One Service Manager even refused to work on it telling me the unit was too old and he couldnt in good conscience have me spend that kind of money on a unit that needs to be replaced soon because of the R22 ban (David I hope you are reading this).I might add that David even sent one of his sales people out to provide an estimate on a new unit a week ago and I still havent gotten the estimate.In a 45 minute service call last Friday Accurate determined that the thermostat was malfunctioning and did a quick clean of the unit to get me up and running. None of the others even looked at the thermostat. All for a fraction of the $1,500 estimates from the others.Accurate is honest, competent and efficient. I highly recommend them over any of the area HVAC service providers.
